I sat in the living room on the couch on my phone with Tasha was on the phone with Grandma Rose

Adam was lifting Leo up and down while he counted

"467, 468-- put some muscle in it. 469-" Davenport then told him to shush

"Shh! I'm picking up radio free Singapore" Davenport said, then he started singing in a foreign language "That's gonna be a hit mark my words"

"But not today. Why? Because Donald's not feeling well" Tasha spoke into the phone "Look, I gotta go. He just threw up in my purse. Love you, bye" she said and then hung up

"You know, were gonna have to have your mother over eventually" Davenport said

"No, we don't. Look, my mom doesn't just visit. She has inspections. If she spots anything weird, she will use it as an excuse for her to move in" Tasha explained

Then Chase threw a ball he and Bree were playing with and used her super speed to catch it

"Nothing weird here" she said and continued doing what she and Chase were doing

"Honey, when your mother visits, I will shower her with love, I will make her feel welcome and I will do everything humanly possible to--" then the door bell rang, oh no

Tasha gasped "Its my mother!"

"I'll be in the lab" Davenport said and headed to the lab, coward

"Quick! Turn invisible!" Tasha said, they looked at her weirdly, I can, but I won't

"Oh, come on, you have every other freaky ability. Just run and hide" The three ran behind the counter, I rolled my eyes and stood by Tasha and Leo

"Oh good, it's unlocked" Grandma Rose said

"Mom! You're here" Tasha said, clearly irritated, and gave her a small side hug

"Would've been here sooner if it hadn't been for your stupid gate" Grandma Rose said

"Oh, that's just Donald's titanium security fence" Tasha said

"Well, if you ram it with your car hard enough, it pops right open" She said

"Leo, Scarlett. There's my babies" she said looking our way

"Come and give me some sugar!" She said hugging Leo tightly "Ooooh! Grandma so glad to see you"

"Let me see your face. Let me see that face" Grandma Rose said grabbing onto his face, I held back a laugh

"Grandma brought your favorite bran fruitcake" She said, then she handed Leo the fruitcake and it was heavy

"Grandma, you shouldn't have" Leo said "And when I say you shouldn't have--"

"Leo..." Tasha warned

"Scarlett! How's my favorite granddaughter" she said holding out her arms, I hugged her

"Great, it's good to see you Grandma Rose" I said as she let go

"I know I missed your birthday last year because I was sick, so here's your present now" she handed me and box

I opened it and it was fills with art supplies and some music things! Awesome!

"Awesome! Thanks Grandma!" I said as I hugged her again

The three behind the counter tired to escape but Grandma Rose caught them

"Who are they?" She asked

"They are the. . . staff!" Tasha said quickly "Big house"

"Staff? Oh, Tasha. Still so lazy" Grandma said

"And you are still so-- my mother" she responded quickly

Grandma chuckled "So what do you do?" She asked Adam

"Well, I collect rocks, I lift heavy things. I chase bugs" Adam was listing the things he did but Tasha cut him off

"Adam is our chef" Tasha said

"Oh, right. Chef. Normally, I wear a baggy hat and yell things in Italian. Bonjour!" Adam said, enough though that French, how is he gonna pass for a chef?

Then we all nervously laughed except Rose "What a wonderful sense of humor" Tasha said, giving a small angry look towards Adam

"And who is she?" Grandma asked pointing at Bree

"Bree is my personal trainer" Tasha said

"Oh. And what exactly does a personal trainer do?" Grandma asked

"It's personal?" Bree responded

"And Chase-- Chase is Leo and Scarlett's nanny. Man-nanny. Manny" Tasha said

"Aren't you a little young to be a manny?" Grandma asked

"Aren't you a little young to be a Grandma?" Chase asked

"Oh, I like him" Grandma said quickly

This is gonna be a long day

I went up to my room and decided to put my gift from grandma away, my room was huge but I didn't know where to put it

Davenport said that I could design my room to my liking and I think I did a pretty good job
(The bed you see on the up right corner is what the bed is like, the white and very light purple you see on the middle right is the wall paper where the orange is, the white curtains is where the curtains go in place of the velvet ones, and the white chandelier goes where the orange ones are, then you see where the couches are? Ok so this is the TV that goes in front of it, the pillows on the bed in the upper right hand corner it also what's on the couch)

Then I have a walk in closet where the door is that you can see in the picture, next to my closet is my art room but that's for later

Then up those stairs leads to my hang out room, where I escape to go to my superhero cave, on one side of the room is a fluffy bean bag chair, a couch, a electric fireplace, and a bit more

Then on the opposite side of the room are hanging like hammocks and chairs with a window to stare out of when I need somewhere to relax

And on the opposite door in my bedroom leads straight to my bathroom, it's probably my favorite place next to the bathroom I have my music room, but that's for later

I had a walk in shower with numerous shower heads, three on each side, then I had a jet tub that had six jets at the head and the end, and I had a closing door toilet so I could get privacy there to, then I had a ton of storage for makeup, hair stuff, towels, toilet paper, and I even had a robe with my initials S.E.D, it was amazing

I decided to put my art supplies on the shelf with my drawing books next to my bed

I put the box on the shelf and headed back downstairs

I sat on the couch with my headphones in texting my friends and playing some games

And of course not everything was going as planned, so I took out my headphones to listen to what would happen

"Add one can of tomatoes" Adam mumbled to himself as he read the instructions to make, whatever he was making, he then licked up the tomatoes cAn and crushed it while humming

The lid was still in there, and he tossed the cAn behind him

Bree was doing exercises with Grandma and had to adjust her move to not see the mess Adam was making with his super strength

"Simmer on low heat" Adam mumbled to himself, he was scratching his neck with the spatula, gross "Low heat. Oh, okay!"

Adam then covered one eye and used his heat vision with the other, the sauce started to boil

"Yeah! I'm cooking!" He said excitedly, everyone looked at him "Which I always do" he recovered quickly

"Okay" Bree said, get up, Grandma had a bit of trouble getting up so Bree helped her

"Oh, thank you" Grandma said, holding her back

"Um, let's move on to a simple little exercise that can strengthen your core while crushing a man's windpipe" Bree said, Tasha looked weary

"Oooh" Grandma said

Tasha laughed nervously "They already kicked her out of book club for using that one" Grandma didn't argue "Anything else?"

"How about, um, pick up the hat?" Bree suggested "Yeah. You reach down like you're gonna pick up a hat-" they started to bend down "-and then you kick the air behind you" Bree kicked the air behind her, Grandma did the same but she almost fell

Bree used her super speed and caught her before she fell

"How'd you get behind me so fast?" Grandma questioned as Tasha went by her side

"Uh, how did you get in front of me so fast, you speedy, little grandma, you?" Bree said

"You know what, Grandma. Why don't you come upstairs and see my art work, Davenport made a whole room just for me to do my art, come see" I said grabbing her hand and taking her upstairs

The first room we walked in was my sketch room, where I get my creative idea's and bring them to life (The table near the giant brush isn't there and where the brush and stuff is in that wall is not there, this is what that side of the room looks like)

(No window)

"This is my sketching room, where most of the creativity happens, feel free to take a look" I said to grandma as she looked amazed at it all

"You sketch all your stuff in here?" She asked, I nodded "No wonder you have such talent" I smiled

"But this is just one of the rooms-" I walked by a door "-this is my painting room" I opened the door to reveal a very bright room full of painting supplies

(Where the brick wall is, this is what goes there instead)

"Also known as the decoration room, back in the sketch room is where the paintings dry" I explained, she walked around the room

"I thought you were also into spray paint, did Donald not give you a room for that?" Grandma asked, I playfully rolled my eyes

"No, it's up here" I pointed to the stairs "Come on" I gestured her to follow me as I lead her upstairs towards the apartment paint room

(No window, in the corner of the room out of the picture is this)

(It's filled all up with spray paint and those pens you use to do smaller details of spray paint)

"Oh my, what's this?" Grandma questioned, gesturing towards the tarp on the wall where one of my easels was

"Oh this, this is something I've been working on for awhile. I haven't show anyone yet because I'm still unsure about it" I explained

"Oh come on, if you can do all this I'm sure whatever is behind there is wonderful, show your grandma what's behind there" Grandma said, I sighed

"Okay, but it's not the greatest" I said, I pulled in the taro and Grandma looked like she might pass out

(The light is not there)
"Oh Scarlett, this is beautiful. How did you make this?" She questioned, wanting to touch it but I stopped her

"Careful, it's still wet. I don't want it to smudge" I warned, she removed her hand

"How long have you been working on this?" She asked in awe

"Um, since we moved in, I still have a few extra detailing I need to do, but I think it looks pretty good" I said

"Pretty good? Scarlett this looks amazing! I'm so proud of you!" She exclaimed, pulling me in a bone-crushing hug

"Can't....breath..." okay so I know I'm super strong, but geez this woman hugs tight!

"Sorry, but this is amazing. How have people not seen what you can do?" Grandma asked

"Ah! Well come see, I have a little something I make money off of for my paintings" I gestured her to come back down stairs

There was a door at the end of the decorating room which lead to the room I add final touches in, and sell them

"This is where I finish, upload, and sell my paintings. But I do keep special ones" I pulled out some binders filled with ones I keep and ones I sell

"So you have you own little business?" Grandma asked

"Yep" then my computer dinged, signaling I had sold another painting

I sat at the desk and checked how much it sold for, it was two of my spray paint ones

The highest I've ever sold one for was $800 dollars

But as I checked the price it was sold for, it was sold for $2,000 each?!

I let out a small happy scream, I forgot my grandma was still in the room

"Hey! Not so loud! I may look young but my ears aren't" Grandma said, rubbing her ears

"Sorry, it's just that, two of my paintings were sold for $2,000 each!" I exclaimed, getting out of my seat grabbing my packing boxes, covering the paintings in large paper bags and bible wrap, loading it into the box, writing the return address and where it was going

"That's amazing! Look at you, already making a business out of your talent, I'm so proud" she hugged me again and I hugged back

"Thanks grandma, I have to send these by next Sunday so I'll have to go get some extra packages soon. But I'm so happy, $4,000 dollars for my paintings, that's huge!" I exclaimed, she smiled

"Now, let's go back down stairs, I wanna have a talk with Donald" Grandma said, I chuckled

"Of course you do" I replied, then we exited my room

Grandma and I were almost down the stairs when she spotted Davenport

"Donald!" She said, going towards him

"Rose!" He said, he looked tired, what happened in the lab?

"About time. I was beginning to think you were avoiding me" Grandma said, I walked into the kitchen to get a water and Adam, being the clueless chef, was ruining dinner

"I was-- uh, sick. I mean I was sick. I was feeling very ill" Davenport recovered "And I had a very important phone call. Uh, it's not nearly as important as you"

Grandma chuckled "Nice save" she said

"Thank you. I thought so" He said

Davenport looked around and saw Adam cooking and Bree working out, it confused him

"Honey, what're Adam and Bree doing?" He asked

"You mean our chef and trainer?" Tasha questioned/said

"That explained what they're doing" Davenport replied

As I closed the fridge Adam pulled out the soon and it was burnt, I almost dropped my water but my mouth was wide open

"Uh, just a couple more minutes" Adam said

"Till what? You melt the pot?" Leo said with sarcasm

"You know what? Let's just all sit down and have a nice dinner together" Tasha said, I snickered walking to the table

"We can sit down, but having a nice dinner just ain't gonna happen" I joked, Tasha shot me a angry look and I sat down, next to Grandma

"Hey, you're Leo's manny and you're letting him near a hot stove?" Grandma questioned, Chase quickly ran over to Leo

"Watch it, Leo. You wanna get sent to bed without any supper?" Chase said

"Yes" Leo said, with no hesitation

Then everyone sat down and Adam put the burnt spaghetti in Grandma's bowl

"What the--?" She said, clearly shocked at the burnt food

"Pa-sghetti?" Adam tried to say

"What in the name of great Caesar's ghost  is going on around here?" Grandma asked

"Trust me, there is nothing unusual going on here" Tasha said quickly "Everything is completely normal"

Then the exo-skeleton Davenport was working on broke through the kitchen wall

Grandma was in complete shock

"That was horrible timing" Davenport said

He knocked over the kitchen counter and we all  stood up from the table

"What's is that?" Grandma asked

"That is another member of our staff. Go away, James. We don't need you right now" Leo said pointing at the exo-skeleton

"Boy, I'm old, not senile, and that's no butler" Grandma said "I'm out"

We all ran and hid behind the couch, Chase and Leo hid behind the fake plants behind us

He was basically destroying the kitchen

"Adam, don't just sit there. Go take that thing down!" Bree said

"No! Don't do that, and someone will know that someone has certain abilities" Tasha said, nodding her head towards Grandma

It then threw something over our heads and we ducked

"Oh, well, great. Now dinner's ruined" Adam said, I looked at him

"Donald, you're the man of the house, do something" Grandma said

"Right. I'll take care of this" Davenport got up but the exo-skeleton shot lasers at him

He yelled before hiding behind the couch again

"My hero" Grandma sassed, rolling her eyes

I started to put my hair in a pony tail

"You guys think of something, I'll distract it" I said flipping over the couch

"Over here metal waste!" I yelled running towards the stairs, he shot his lasers at me

I did a no hand cart-wheel at the stairs as his lasers missed, this will be easy

Chase and Leo where talking then Leo ran off, he shot his lasers at Leo but thankfully missed

"Here bolts for brains!" I yelled by where Davenport has his desk

I did a back flip as the laser went right over me, I rolled on the ground as it almost hit my head

I got up and it missed my shoulder by just a bit

Then Davenport threw pillows at it? Really?

"It's destroying our house and your tossing pillows at it" Tasha sassed

"Well, they're called throw pillows" he argued

"Well do something! Pillows aren't going to stop it!" I shouted

"Right here you robotic trash can!" I yelled, ducking as it shot the window and shattered it

"Sorry!" I yelled at the look on Davenports face

It was going closer to everyone behind the couch

Then Leo came back with some type of device

"Time for this exo to meet its match" He said

"The electrofield de-stabilizer. Great idea, Leo" Chase said

"Thanks" Leo replied, Leo then went to talk to Chase

"Here you giant tin can!" I yelled as I got by the kitchen, it shot its lasers and I ducked in time

"If you guys are gonna do something, I suggest doing it now!!" I yelled angered, I wish I could use my powers but I can't, I don't want them to fear me

I front flipped out of the way as it shot another laser at me

"Hey, exo!" Chase yelled, waving his arms in the air, the exo turned to look at him

Chase then flipped over the couch and came by the kitchen

"Here comes the pain" Leo said as he charged for the exo, device in hand

He was gonna hit it but the exo knocked the object out of his hand, he then grabbed his arm

"Oh. Hey." Leo said as it grabbed his arm

It then grabbed both his arms and moved him in front of him

"Leo!" I shouted as I ran towards the Exo-skeleton

It grabbed my hand I was gonna hit it with and twisters it behind my back, holding Leo's arms together with one hand

"Hey, Chase, did we have a plan B?" Leo said angrily towards Chase, it pushed harder on my arm making me slightly cry out in pain

"Hey!" Grandma yelled, standing up, the Exo-skeleton turned to look at her "Nobody lays a hand on my grandkids. It's time to pick up the hat!"

Grandma ran towards the Exo-skeleton, then she turned around, bent down and kicked her leg out at the Exo-skeleton

It released me and Leo, Grandma hid behind the couch and Leo and I still payed on the ground, my wrist was throbbing a bit

"Way to go, Grandma!" Bree said "And you didn't even break a hip"

It looked at Leo and I, ready to terminate us, oh no

"Look out, Scarlett and Leo!" Chase said, he then slid across the floor, grabbing the device and helping us up

"Stay close" he put up a force field around us three, I gave him some of my electricity to keep the force field together, and stronger

He shot a laser at us but it bounced off the force field, we got closer to the Exo-skeleton, he then used the device on the Exo-skeleton and it fell to the floor with a huge shock

"All right!"
"Yes!"
"We did it!" Me, Chase, and Leo said at the same time, high fiving one another

Everyone else cheered, then Chase pulled me into a hug and I blushed, it felt like a long time before he let go, his face showed signs of a blush

Then Leo brought him into a hug, then Grandma spoke

"Somebody better tell me what's going on right now. And right now just passed, so you're not talking fast enough" Grandma said, angry

"Uh, Rose, there is a completely rational explanation for all of this. You are delusional. Who wants desert?" Davenport said, not after Adam's cooking

"You know what, mom? This is our life. Our house may be high-tech and chaotic, but it is full of love. And it may not be perfect for you but it is perfect for our family" Tasha went and stood by us, I stood in-between Chase and Bree, we wrapped our arms around each other waists, when Chase touched my waist I felt a small blush creep onto my cheeks

"What family? Wait a minute, who are these people?" Grandma said, pointing to Chase, Adam and Bree

"They are my brother's kids. That I adopted when he died. Fell in a volcano" Davenport said quickly

"Well, why didn't you just say so? Now it all make sense. You're just a modern family with a bunch of adorable kids. Who is gonna need their grandma around all the time" everyone's face fell "I can stay for a few days in that spare room you have down the hall. Come on, baby. I got my overnight case in the car, and Gladys is watching Poochie so it's no problem. Don't thank me now. Come on!" Grandma and Tasha's then left out the door

"No way!" Davenport said, I love Grandma, don't get me wrong, but she's a little clingy

How long is she gonna stay?

We were all on the couch, watching a movie and laughing, I sat on the end of the couch next to Grandma

"Oh, man. I am starving" Grandma complained

Then the doorbell rang "Oh, that must be the pizza" Davenport said

"Yeah" I said

"I'll get it!" Leo said, coming out in the Exo-skeleton

"Leo, what're you doing in that thing?" Tasha asked, Leo opened the door to reveal the pizza man

Once he saw the Exo-skeleton he dropped the pizza box and ran terrified, Leo then picked up the pizza and closed the door

"Getting free pizza!" He replied, we all laughed at him

This may be the world's craziest family, but it's mine, I wouldn't have it any other way

3rd Person POV
The Raven sat perched on a tree branch, looking through the window of the Davenports, watching as Scarlett laughed with her family

"How is she?" A voice spoke to her, a person spoke to here through the mind

Just fine Raven thought, knowing it got to the voice You'll see her soon enough

"Good, I miss her. I can't wait to see her" the voice spoke once again

You just need to be patient, she'll need time to remember all of her memories, then you can see her the Raven thought, watching again as Scarlett ate the pizza they acquired

"I'll be waiting" the voice spoke once again, then it was gone

Raven knew she was done and flew back to the base, looking at the photo's of Scarlett's real parents and her family

Sighing Raven knew it would be a while until all her true memories came back

The only question was how long could she wait?
