Scarlett's POV
We were down in the lab talking with Davenport about the bionic kids bionics

"Okay guys, you have been trained for all kinds of missions, but you are about to enter a soul-bruising, confidence-crushing apocalyptical environment: high school"

"In theaters now for most scariest life stories" I said with jazz hands

"Adam Bree your glitch test results are fairly stable"

"Yes I'm going to school!"

"I'm fairly stable!"

"But Chase, I am still concerned about your commando app" I was confused commando app?

"Commando app?" Apparently Leo was to "Put on some underpants we're going to school" I snickered

"No, see in the face of an imminent threat, Chase's commando app kicks in and he becomes a fearless brute I like to call spike" Davenport bragged lightly shaking Chase "Its kinda like a fight-or-flight thing, except I took out the flight part, cause, useless, and replaced it with a testosterone level of like a Tasmanian devil-wolverine-shark-lion hybrid that's mad"

"You couldn't have just said he gets super angry, there's 7 minutes of my life I'll never get back" I said

"Don't worry, mr. Davenport, I promise that spike won't rear his ugly head"

"Oh yeah? You mean like last Christmas when I made the mistake of giving Adam boxing gloves?"

The four look kinda scared

"Ugh, im still coughing up tinsel" I patted Adams back

"Don't worry so was Leo for a week when he made the mistake of pranking me on Christmas morning"

"I still have nightmares" Leo said whisper-like

"You know, letting Chase go to school, isn't such a good idea, I can't risk spike coming out" The three walked away while me and Leo walked to Davenport

"Oh come on big D, Chase has to come, with these guys I'll finally have a prime spot in the cafeteria"

"I keep telling him to sit with me but he never does"

"That's right y'all, put on your coats 'cause I'm about to ride your tail!" Leo said while acting like he was riding a horse

"Don't worry, we'll make sure he stays out of trouble, right guys?"

"Yeah, it's one for all and all for one, unless of course you guys make me look bad, in which case I am dropping you lame-os and hanging with Scarlett"

"Aww thanks Bree" I said, she smiled at me

"Mr. Davenport I can't miss school, this is the beginning of my academic achievements and career trajectory, I mean, the road to a astronaut lawyer has to start somewhere"

"Okay, but I better not get a call from the art teacher saying that spike ripped out her larynx, actually, she wouldn't be able to say anything, because spike ripped out her lar- look point is just keep him out of trouble"

"Hey look what I found" Adam said coming up with boxing gloves, and something tells me to back up

Adam started punching the air and then he punch Chase in the stomach, he then hid behind Davenport

"Look I'm sorry, but if he's that close to the gloves it's gonna happen" I sighed and went to help Chase up

We arrived at school finally

"Okay guys, that's principal Perry, she has the temperament of a junkyard dog stuffed into a really bad pantsuit" Perry is kinda nice to me at least

"Hey, you!" Perry yelled to some kid "No tongue rings in school! Don't try to hide it, I will take a metal detector to your face!"

Bree noticed some boy "This is is, my chance for romance, on tv the new girl always drops her books and the cute guy with the soulful eyes picks them up" She dropped her books and a teacher slipped and fell on them

"Oops! Sorry, im new" She said

"Okay, your social life is determine by where you sit, we can't sit at the cool table, but we can be cool table adjacent"

"I sit at the cool table" I said

"Yeah, but that's because your the coolest girl in school, and your a cheerleader"

"Wait your a cheerleader?" Chase asked surprised

"Yeah? Is that surprising?"

"Kinda"

"Anyways Adam just sat at the cool table" I lightly giggled and pulled up a chair between Amy and Emily

"Hey girl!" They both said

"Sup" I replied as they passed me my breakfast tray I nodded in thanks

Chase them came over and took a seat in between me and Emily

"Hey guys! These girls just told me when the football players get here, I'm getting a free pudding cup"

"Hi!" Leo said waving to them "Walk away" he mumbled to Chase

"How's it going?" He continued "Your in great danger" he mumbled again to Chase

Then the football played came in and Trent came and sniffed Leo "Sorry" he said in reply

"Hey, that's my seat, next to my girl"

"How many times do I have to tell you I'm not your girl, and leave these guys alone their chill"

"Get lost before I use you like a napkin"

"Chase we should probably go, he's not very absorbent" Bree said Trent then took my drink and spilled it on the table

"Oh, look a spill! I think I'm gonna wipe it up with your face" he grabbed chase by the collar

"Trent stop it!" I said standing up

But then Chase switched positions with Trent and put Trent on the table

Then Chase talked in a really deep voice "Think again bubble neck, I'm gonna rip out your kneecaps and use them as hockey pucks" Adam stumbled his way over to Bree and Leo

"Play I don't mean to alarm anyone, but I think spikes back" Chase then he pushed Trent with the other football players

"You have no idea who your messing with, okay? Pudding cups!" Two guys handed him pudding cups

"Oh I'll take those!"
"Hey!"
Chase then sprayed them with the pudding cups

"Ooooh!"

"Your dead!" Chase started to roar/scream in there faces

"You, okay, okay, you're lucky we have to go to the reading center right now" Trent ran with the rest of the team out of the cafeteria

Everyone started to clap and cheer for him, what have we done

"Take a seat, compadres this is our table now" he pulled up a chair and motioned for me to sit in it I slowly sat down and he put his feet in front of me

"Hello ladies!" Leo started "You may remember me from health class when I passed out during The Miracle Of Brith video, its good to see you again" oh boy he's trying to flirt this won't end well

"All right! Make room for the alpha dogs, woof woof woof woof!"

"Don't do that" Adam said I nodded

"Wait if we're the alpha dogs then" Bree dropped her books on the floor and two guys went to pick them up

"Oooh I love this!" Bree exclaimed I rolled my eyes

Then some kid came by and handed me and Chase a pass to go anywhere in the school, but mines like a backstage pass, I can wear mine where Chase has to hold his

"What's this?" Chase asked

"That's a all access hall pass, you can go anywhere you want with that and Scarlett how come you get yours now?"

"I told them to make it to where I can wear it, i ask they do"

"I can go anywhere I want already anyways, these are my hall passes" he started to flex in different poses

"Okay, if he starts oiling up, I'm out"

"Commando app disengaged?" Yes! He's back wait oh no he's back! "Guys! Why was I in commando mode?"

"Were you in commando mode?"
"I didn't see a commando mode"

"Oh that's good everyone keep lying" I rolled my eyes

"Yes Chase you were in commando mode"

"You guys were supposed to watch out for me!"

"Oh we watched the whole thing, you manhandled the quarterback and pudding popped the whole offensive line!" Leo exclaimed

"What? Aw great, this is so gonna come back to haunt my Supreme Court nomination"

"You know what spike would say to that? Nothing, he'd rip out your rib cage and play it like a xylophone" Bree said

"Yeah, I like him, he's like a big fun monster, and you're a sad little buddy" Adam said in a weird voice

"I'll get spike back" Leo said setting down his backpack "Get lost before I use you like a napkin!" He tried to pick up Chase but he couldn't "Yeah this isn't gonna work"

We were back at the 'cool table' eating lunch

"Hey baby wanna nibble?" Leo asked a cheerleader I gaged in response

"Hey, there's Trent" Chase looked over at Trent and the other dingos at a different table "I better go apologize" he started to stand up and then Bree sat him back down

"Woah! Slow it up buttercup"

"Mail them a greeting card it's so much more personal" Leo said

"Guys look, the cheerleaders cut up my food into tiny pieces, im eating a turkey burger through a straw" Adam said, which by the way looked really gross, he then slurped it up in the straw and I toned out whatever he said

"Hey! New kid! Come here!" Perry yelled to Chase, Chase quickly walked up to her

"Do you know what happens when my football players get humiliated? No! You don't cause my football players don't get humiliated" she yelled right in his face

"They look humiliated to me" Adam mentioned and I glared at him, he's not helping

"I know what team spirit is about, because I was the jammer on the North Pacific Roller derby championship team" ok this is getting boring I'm gonna tune them out, I plugged in my headphones and waited for something cool to happen

Adam, Bree and Leo started to get up and I didn't get why and then Chase started to look like spike-oh no I took out my earphones in what I guess was a argument

"-bet you panicked, threw yourself off the track and blamed the other team for your weakness"

"Do you think this spike things gotten a bit out of hand?" Leo asked I hit him in the back of the head

"He might've crossed the line at sports bra" Bree said wait what about a sports bra? Never mine

So now we have to do a football game at the dog park? I don't know anymore but they want me to be there cheerleader instead of playing the game, thank god

Leo was standing in front of a really tall football player, while I was standing there cheering them on

"This doesn't seem fair"

"Seems fair to me, LETS GET IT ON!" Percy yelled as she blew her whistle

Leo was trying to explain how to do football but then he got tackled, ouch

Chase-Spike decided to 'teach' them how to play football and he did pass it to Leo but then the football players picked him up and they somehow scored a point

So now they are huddled up thinking of a plan

"Hey is that a biggie burger truck pulling up?" Ew gross wait a second Bree started to use her super speed and tied the shoes of the dingos together, that must be there plan

Ch-Spike then pushed past them and made a touch down, all the cheerleaders cheered

"Guys let's do stunt number 4" oh that's a good one, we all nodded and started to do the cheer stunt

Emily and Amy started doing some backflips and got into the position on the sides, Jessica did a front flip and cart wheel, positioning herself into the middle of Amy and Emily as they linked arms and placed on of their legs on her hips

Then Lucy and Kayla backflipped twice behind them and placed one foot on Amy's and Emily's leg and pulling themselves up and placing there other leg on Jessica's shoulder then I did a round of backflip and landed on top of Jessica's shoulders and linked arms with the girls and hoisted myself on there knees

"Go alpha dogs!!" We shouted as we disassembled the stunt with some flips and cartwheels

Once again they were huddled up talking about a game plan, hopefully cause the score is 23 dingos to 17 alpha dogs

"We need spike back! Where is he? Where is spike?" Bree shouted, oh no, I rushed onto the field

"Stop shouting!" I said "It's not gonna get spike back"

"Wait you knew about this?"

"Well....yea but it's hard to get rid of spike"

"Hey! Let's go we don't have all day!"

"Shut it Trent time out!" Perry blew her whistle signaling a time out

"I told you I don't wanna be spike" poor Chase "Look, I've been waiting for my first day of school for 15 years. And now I don't even remember it"

"I'm sorry Chase"

"When you put it that way, I just feel selfish" Leo commented

"Yeah"

Adam walked up to chase and patted his shoulder "Oh come on! Snap out of it! I wanna win!" Adam yelled shaking him violently

"No, he's right"

"Come on guys, we can still win this thing, and even if we don't what do we have to lose"

"Our table"
"Popularity"
"Everything"
"Nothing"
They all looked at me

"What? I'm a cheerleader and not part of this game, plus you guys can sit with me at the table or I can sit with you either way I'm still cool"

Trent started to yell at them

"Good luck, I believe in you guys" I said running off the field

As Adam hiked the ball to Leo, leo passed it to chase, as a football player was charging for chase he faked a pass and was gonna throw it to Leo but then Bree yelled for him to pass it to her, same with Adam

He looked nervously and deep in thought? I don't know but then two football players tackled him and then two more jumped on top of him

"Game over! Dingos win!" Perry yelled

Chase was still lying in the ground "Chase!" I yelled rushing over to him

I kneeled beside him brushing my curly hair behind my ear, I held my hand out to him and helped him up

"Well, we may not be the alpha dogs anymore, but at least we have each other, we're not total nobodies"

"No, we are total morons well not Scarlett but we are, but at least I have you three to carry my broken butt home" Leo said as he fell to the ground

Adam Bree and Chase picked him up and started on our long walk home
