So you know schools that have metal detectors that find metal objects in your bags? Or those people at amusement parks or the airport who search through your bags to find dangerous items? Well, Perry is literally searching out backpacks for nothing

Right now she's searching Leo's, I'm next and Bree's after me

"A-ha! Cell phones are a violation," Perry said as she found Leo's phone in his backpack

"I think you sticking your hand in my backpack is also a violation," Leo fired back

"Planning on texting your girlfriend in class, were you?" Perry questioned

"I don't have a girlfriend," Leo spoke annoyed

"Yeah, well, now you don't have a cell phone either. Bye-bye," Perry said, tossing Leo's phone into the container next to her, Leo got his backpack and left, I put mine on the table

"Good morning Principal Perry, you look as lovely as ever," I spoke, trying to get out of this backpack check, I have some super hero items in there that I don't want taken away

"Why thank you, I'm using new shampoo. The cat shampoo wasn't working well enough," Perry spoke, flattered by my comment

"It works well for you, really makes your hair pop," I smile

"Thanks- wait. I know what your doing, your trying to get out of your backpack check by flattering me, it's not working," Perry spoke, opening the front pocket of my bag

"Can't the most popular girl in school give her principal complements without reason? Oh, is that a new pants suit?" I spoke

"Why yes it is, glad somebody noticed," Perry smiled, she then shook my backpack and listened for anything bad

"You're good to go," Perry spoke, handing me my backpack, I smiled and walked over to Chase, Adam, and Leo

"Next!" Perry yelled

"You're not gonna want anything in here. It's just stuff that improves your hygiene and appearance," Bree sassed Perry

"Mocking my porcelain Irish skin? Back of the line, princess!" Perry told Bree

Next thing you now, Bree escapes from the back of the line by using her super speed and climbing in the ceiling before jumping down to us, making Leo scream

"Morning, boys, Scar," Bree smiled

"Seriously, can we put a bell on her?" Leo asked

"Yeah, you gotta chill on the super agility. Somebody's gonna see you using your bionics," Chase spoke

"No one ever sees me. I mean, you didn't see me swipe your lunch money," Bree spoke, holding up Chases lunch money

Chase quickly checked his pockets, "Oh, you're good!"

He went to steal it back but Bree moved it out of his reach before he could get it, I used some of my sped to quickly swipe the money back and handed it to Chase

"Hey! You're not suppose to do that to me! You're my bestie!" Bree whined

"And Chase is my boyfriend, plus he owes me lunch today," I smiled, putting my arms on his shoulders

"Hey, you! How'd you get past my checkpoint? I sent you to the back of the line," Perry spoke

"Uh. . . that wasn't me," Bree spoke

"Must've been somebody else," Chase added

"Yeah, somebody who can't climb ceilings," Adam added, then sang to his siblings, "Saved it!"

"Principal Perry, I'm sure Bree wouldn't do a thing to mess with our lovely principal. You must have confused her with someone else," I spoke

"You four have an answer for everything, don't you?" Perry asked

"I don't like to brag, but the answer to that is yes," Chase bragged

"Chase, sweetie. Don't test Principal Perry, please," I spoke

"There's one thing I pride myself on. . ." Perry began

"You're incredibly sturdy calves?" Bree questioned

"No! My instincts! And my instincts tell me that you four are trouble! Well, except Scarlett, she's a peach," Perry spoke, making me smile towards her

"Well, I don't like your instincts at all, and you can tell 'em I said that," Adam spoke

"I can't put my finger on it, but ever since you arrived, strange things have been happening around here. And the only strange thing I'll tolerate is the janitor. I have to, he's my cousin," Perry spoke, then some people came in with a ladder and tools

"Who are they?" Leo asked

"Air-conditioning repairmen. They're here to check on the strange winds that have been blowing around here for months," Perry explained, then went over to talk to them

"She's talking about you! You're the mysterious wind!" Chase told her

"The only mysterious wind around here comes from Adam," Bree spoke

"She's not wrong, what did you ever do to your body?" I asked Adam, he shrugged

"Just so you know, tonight is parent/teacher night. Which means tomorrow is 'you're grounded' day!" Perry spoke to us, "So, good luck!"

"What the heck is parent/teacher night?" Chase asked

"It's when teachers tell your parents every bad thing you've done-" Leo began

"Also known as Leo sucking up to his teachers day," I snickered

"As I was saying," Leo said, glaring at me, "Bad things like, skipping class, forgetting homework, staging a protest for better bathroom soap. Don't look at me like that, you're all benefiting from my rebellion."

"If Perry tells Davenport about the strange things she's seen, he'll know we're using bionics in school and he'll pull us out for sure," Adam spoke

"Well, then we can't give Perry any hard evidence. No one uses their bionics," Chase spoke, then my phone beeped, I pulled it out and it was a Mighty Med alert

"Look, gotta go. I, uh, have to go to the nurse," I lied, rushing to the nurse

I told her I need to go in and she let me in, and instantly I was in my superhero outfit

"Scarlett! I need your help!" Skylar said as she rushed towards me

"What's the emergency?" I asked quickly

"I can't figure out what to wear to school tomorrow! It's my first day!" Skylar exclaimed, I gave her a look

"You mean to tell me, I just wasted rushing over here so I could help you pick out a outfit!" I yelled at her

"No, I mean you're great with fashion so it's not a total waste," Skylar said, making me rub my forehead

"Look, what outfit choices do you have?" I asked

She showed me two choices and I told her the second one looked better, she thanked me and ran off to figure out how to style her hair for tomorrow

"Oh, hey Phantom! What brings you by?" Kaz asked as he walked over to me

"Skylar freaking out over her first day at school tomorrow," I laughed

"Do all girls do that?" Kaz asked

"At least all the ones I know," I shrugged, I looked over Kaz's shoulder and saw Timeline, Dr, Horace's cousin

"Hey Timeline! Good to see you again!" I smiled as I walked over to him

"Wait, you've met him?" Kaz asked

"Of course! Timeline warned me about a mission where I would die at years ago. He saved my life, and I've never got to thank him properly," I smiled, "Thank you very much, Timeline."

"It is no problem, speaking of be very careful of your best friend today, he might get killed," Timeline spoke

"Leo? What's gonna happen to Leo?" I asked

"He might get hit by a air-conditioner that falls from the ceiling in two hours," Timeline spoke

"What?!" I questioned

"Also, tell that boyfriend and friends of yours to stay clear of a boy named, Marcus," Timeline spoke

"Marcus? Who he?" I asked

"Never mind that, you have a boyfriend?" Kaz asked

"Yeah, I mean I told Oliver to tell you when I texted him that I became official with my boyfriend," I spoke

"He never told me," Kaz pointed out

"Well obviously, or else you wouldn't have question if I had one," I spoke

"Well, uh, congrats I guess," Kaz said, rubbing the back of his neck

"Thanks, now if you excuse me I have to go save my best friend, bye!" I spoke, leaving Mighty Med

When I got back it was almost the time Leo would almost get hit by and air conditioner

"Leo, look out!" I yelled, rushing in, I used my super sped to get him out of the way just as the air conditioner fell from the ceiling

Adam caught it and set it down on the ground, away from the pieces of ceiling that fell

"I'm walking towards the light! It's so peaceful!" Leo laughed hysterically

"What did you do to my school?!" Perry yelled at us as she came rushing in

"We're okay. Thanks for asking," Chase replied

"It's not our fault. The air conditioner fell from the hole in the ceiling," Adam pointed out

"Well, if it crashed from that hole up there, what's it doing sitting unbroken right here?" Perry asked

"Well, it's not because I caught it and put it right there. Saved it!" Adam spoke

"You did this! You sabotaged my vents!" Perry accused

"It wasn't us," Bree argued

"Sure wasn't," Chase agreed

"Do I look like a 'sabotusiter' to you?" Adam asked

"You know what? It doesn't matter. I'll just see what happens when I watch the video footage," Perry shrugged

"Oh, good, she said it doesn't--wait, the video 'whatage'?" Adam asked

"That's right, I had surveillance cameras installed. And I'm gonna find out exactly what happened," Perry spoke

"Perhaps a honey crips will change your mind," Leo bargained, holding out a apple

Perry took a huge bite out of the apple and handed it back to Leo, walking away

"How many rows of teeth does this woman have?!" Leo questioned as he looked at the apple bite

Later we all sat on the stairs and students went around the school

"We have to stop principal Perry from watching that video, or she's gonna see all three of us using our bionics, and Scarlett using her powers," Adam spoke

"Whatever we do, we cannot panic. Everyone just stay calm," Chase spoke

"We are calm," Bree pointed out

"Well, you shouldn't be we're in crisis!" Chase shouted, as he started to pace around, I stopped him and started to rub his shoulders in an attempt to stop him from stressing out and possibly glitching

"Guys, is it that big of a deal if she sees us using our bionics and tells Davenport? I mean, he already knows," Adam spoke, earning a eye roll from me

"Wait! Guys, I know! Why don't we just use Davenports invisibility cloak to sneak into Perry's office and grab the cameras hard drive," Chase spoke

"Or your girlfriend could turn herself invisible and grab the cameras hard drive," I suggested, folding my arms

"That works to, but just in case Bree, run home and grab the cloak," Chase spoke, Bree nodded and she ran off

"Okay, so while she's gone. . ." Leo began, but then Bree was standing right next to him, "And she's back."

"We better hurry. There's not much time until parent/teacher night starts," Chase spoke, "Davenport and Tasha will be here any minute. If Scar can't get it, another one of us has to get it." Everyone then looked at Leo

"Okay, well, you guys seem to have a handle on this. I'm gonna bounce. Good luck!" Leo spoke, walking away

"No, Leo, we need you! If we get caught, Davenport will pull us out of school!" Adam exclaimed

"Yeah, and he's not gonna pull you out. You're useless to him," Bree shrugged

"Fine. If Scar can't get it I will," Leo sighed

"Alright, here goes nothing," I sighed, turning myself invisible

"Can you guys see me?" I asked

"Nope, you're completely invisible," Chase spoke

I decided to have a little fun before I go, I quietly went behind Leo and yelled, "Boo!"

He screamed like a girl and went into a fighting stance, making me hold my stomach from laughing, everyone else was cracking up

"Not funny Scar!" Leo yelled, looking around since I was still invisible

"Come on, it's pretty funny," I argue, wiping a tear, I then focus on the objective ahead and open the door to Perry's office

She wasn't in her office, so I quickly went to grab the camera, but then the invisibility started to flicker and I wasn't invisible anymore, then Perry walked in and I froze

"Hey! What are you doing in here?" Perry asked

"I, uh, just came in to, uh to-" I stuttered, unsure of what to say

"Well, doesn't matter now. I have a favor to ask you anyways. I want you to paint a portrait of me for the school to admire," Perry spoke

"Uh, okay? Sure thing, Principal Perry," I spoke, quickly rushing out of her office

"Do you have it?" Leo asked

"No, my powers stopped working and Perry almost busted me. Lucky she changed the subject by asking me to paint her, that's gonna suck," I shuddered

"Great, now I have to do it. Give me the cloak," Leo sighed, Bree dug the cloak out of her backpack and giving it to Leo

Leo then puts on the cloak any disappears, except for his head, "Woah! Hey guys, check it out! Follow the bouncing Leo!"

Leo then started to bounce away as just a head, making all of us chuckle, "What an airhead!" Adam chuckled

"What is taking Leo so long?" Bree groaned after we waited in Leo for a while

"Taking Leo so long to do what?" Davenport asked as he and Tasha walked up to us

"Uh. . . to go out and get a job. Yeah, kid's gotta leave the nest some time, right?" Chase spoke

"So, where is my second stellar student?" Tasha asked

"Who's the first?" Adam asked

"Scarlett," Tasha said, making me smile

"Then who's the second?" Adam asked

"Leo. Where's Leo?" Tasha asked

"I don't know what you're up to, but I do know one thing, Dooley!" Perry yelled, dragging Leo with her as they exited her office

"Hello, welcome," Perry smiled, waving as some parents walked by, then back to yelling at Leo, "If I ever find you in my office again, I will break every single-" Then two more parents walked by, "-help yourself to the cheese and crackers."

Then Tasha and Davenport went to talk to Leo, "Mom! Mom, this is Principal Perry. Principal Perry, my extremely sympathetic and understanding mother," Leo spoke

"I caught this troublemaker sneaking around in my office," Perry spoke

"Ooh, troublemaker. Troublemaker? Troublemaker?" Davenport questioned

"Mm-hmm. Yeah," Perry spoke

"Leo, what were you doing sneaking into this nice woman's office?" Tasha questioned

"I wasn't sneaking into a nice woman's office, I was sneaking into her office," Leo spoke

"Leo!" Tasha scolded

"I'm sorry, I can't tell you why," Leo spoke to her

"This must be so difficult for you. You guys know anything about this?" Davenport said then turned to us

"Nothing," Adam spoke

"Not a clue," Bree spoke

"He's working alone," Chase spoke

"I know nothing," I spoke

Tasha then grabbed Leo's arm and dragged him a bit away from us, " I am very disappointed in you, Leo, and you were not going to that concert."

"What?!"

"Mm-mm."

"But I--"

"No."

"But they--"

"No."

"But fine," Leo sighed

"What do you say we go into the gym and I show you that rope he can't climb?" Perry laughed, they walked away, but Leo threw a upset and angry glance at us before leaving

"Okay, I have a plan. Bree and I will sneak into her office and grab the USB port," I spoke

"Alright, let's go," Bree spoke, I nodded and ran with her

"Ah, yes! There it is!" Bree spoke, grabbing the USB port

"Right this way," I heard Perry speak

"There coming!" I hissed

Bree then acted quickly and grabbed my arm, and got us onto the ceiling, her holding me down so I wouldn't fall

"Don't you wish kids had a return policy?" Perry laughed as they walked into her office, Tasha fake laughing with her

"Now, let's talk about the other four," Perry spoke, they all took a seat

"They're great aren't they?" Davenport spoke

"No. Well, the blonde one is, she's a peach," Perry said

"So you'd say Scarlett is a great student," Tasha spoke, looking at Davenport with a smirk

"Yep, probably the only one of your children with excellency," Perry spoke, then Leo looked up and saw me and Bree, we waved smiling a nervous smile but then motioned him to stay quiet

"Do you know what's fascinating about this office? The floor. And I think everyone should look at it! Let's look at the floor!" Leo spoke as everyone looked at the floor confused

"Hey! Eyes in the prize. Let's start with the tall one," Perry spoke

"Adam."

"Yeah, or as I like to call him, empty box on a neck," Perry laughed, I was getting bored so I started to blow bubbles with my gum, but then it fell out of my mouth, before I could catch it Leo did

"Almost dropped my gum," Leo laughed nervously, before putting the gum in his mouth, making us give him a look of disgust

"Hey, no gum in school! Spit it out!" Perry ordered Leo, walking towards him with a trash can

"You couldn't have said that two seconds ago?" Leo asked, spitting the gum out of his mouth

Then as Perry put the trash can away Bree's clip fell out of her hair, making Tasha and Davenport look up at us

They looked confused and Bree mouthed a 'sorry' and then they kept looking between us and the clip until Perry came back and looked back at her

"Where'd that come from?" Perry asked as she noticed the clip

"That is, uh. . . mine," Davenport spoke, putting the clip in his hair, "Its for windy days. You were saying."

"Why tell you when I could show you? Ugh! Where is that hard drive?!" Perry questioned

As she turned around we had a silent argument, but then the second Perry turned her towards them we stopped

"Don't go anywhere, or else! I mean, please, make yourselves comfortable," Perry spoke before leaving the office

Then Bree super-sped us back down

"What is going on?!" Davenport asked us

"It's a lone story," I spoke

"Well, talk fast!" Davenport ordered

"We were hanging out in the hallway when Chase was like, 'What's that noise?' And Scar can running and was like 'Move!' And Adam was like, 'I got it.' So then we used our bionics and Scar used her powers to save Leo from getting pancakes by an air conditioner. Bad news-- cameras recorded everything and it's all on this hard drive," Bree explained

"Is that all?" Davenport chuckled

"And we used your invisibility cloak, so your top secret million dollar technology may be ruined, but, yeah, that's pretty much it," I spoke, shifting on my feet

"Give me the hard drive! We have to get rid of it!" Davenport spoke, taking the hard drive from Bree's hand

She then grabbed my arm and sped us up to the ceiling, Perry walked in and almost ran into Davenport who had the drive

"Found it," He nervously laughed

"Oh, I could kiss you!" Perry said, happy to see the drive

"Please don't," Davenport said in disgust

"Fork it over," Perry said as she took the drive and sat at her desk

"Bree, Scar, what is taking so l-- uh, I mean. . . this isn't the men's room," Adam stuttered as he and Chase rushed in

"Why would I be sitting in the men's room?" Perry asked

"Because anything else would be unladylike," Chase spoke, "Bye!"

They tried to rush out of the room, but Perry shouted, "Stop! Turn! Sit!"

Adam did the actions but Chase pulled him off the floor

"Just one more connection. . ." Perry spoke, going under her desk to plug in the drive to pull up the video

Davenport pulled Adam over and Chase followed, "Quick! Crush that hard drive!"

"But you told us never use bionics in school," Adam spoke

"And yet here we are. So forget what I said and crush it!" Davenport ordered

"Aw, that's so pretty! Is that something new you're trying?" Adam said, noticing Davenports hair clip

"Just crush it!" Davenport ordered

Perry got up from under her desk so Bree and I took action, we raced around the ceiling to create a small tornado to distract her with her papers flying everywhere, then Adam crushed the drive

Then we both raced from the ceiling out of the room, waiting for the others to get out

"We did it!" She cheered as we high-fived, laughing lightly

Soon everyone came out, Chase wrapped his arm around my shoulders and we went home

Later, me, Adam, Bree, and Chase were down in the lab talking to Davenport

"Well that was fun. I happen to think my first parent/teacher night was a huge success! Mainly because I will never be asked to go again. Point Davenport. Up top," Davenport spoke as we all have him a high-five

"So, are we in trouble?" Bree asked

"I'm gonna let this one slide. . . because you guys did save Leo from being crushed by an air conditioner. And besides, it's not like you guys have ever used your bionics or powers at school before, right?" Davenport spoke

"Never."

"Ever."

"Sometimes. Saved it!"

"Don't look at me," I spoke, holding my hands up in surrender as Davenport looked at me

Then Leo and Tasha entered the lab, and Leo looked exhausted

"Where have you been?" Davenport asked

"Well, since I couldn't tell Principal Perry the truth, I had to clean every bathroom in the school. I've scrubbed, I've scraped, I got a little nauseous, but luckily I was in the bathroom so that worked out. Oh, by the way, here's your invisibility cloak. Sorry it's wet. I used it as a mop," Leo spoke, handing a bag holding the cloak to Davenport

"Leo, thanks for having our backs," Adam spoke

"Yeah. It was cool of you to cover for us like that," Chase spoke

"It all worked out. I didn't get flattened by an air conditioner, your bionics didn't get exposed, and I still get to go to the riffraff jammy jam!" Leo spoke, doing a little dance

"Cool, maybe we can all go," Bree suggested

"Whoo-hoo! We are going to the riffraff jammy jam! Riffraff jammy jam! Riffraff!" Tasha spoke, doing a really weird dance

"Not with moves like that," Leo spoke, Tasha made a face and pulled him into a hug

All of us looked at each other and smiled, Chase brought me into a side hug and kissed my forehead, all I could do was smile

My life may not be perfect, but it's perfect for me
