Maria Kingston had always lived simply on her island.

Jake Harper has always lived on his island, and often tried to journey off it.

But getting off the island wasn't the only thing Jake wanted.
He wanted a friend.

One day he wrote a note to his neighboring island, floating in a basket. And Maria picked it up.
