CHAPTER ONE, tornado weather
(hazel's outfit for this & the beginning of the next chapter)
It was one stormy night in Nashville, Tennessee and Hazel could tell that this storm was brewing to become a tornado. Hazel hated thunderstorms anyway and tornados were much worse although they weren't uncommon here. She had never been a fan of storms but ever since she was a little girl, her older brother had helped her. He used to sit with her on his lap and distract her from the storm outside. It had worked too. But he was dead now. And usually every storm reminded her of him.
She was currently next door at the Haywood Ranch which wasn't uncommon either. She spent so much time over there she basically lived there. Her parents were gone on a month long business trip so Beau Haywood was in charge of keeping an eye on her. He didn't mind that at all since he knew all his kids loved her and she loved all of them. Hazel often went next door in the morning and would stay all day (if there wasn't school) and then sometimes go back home for the night.
She sighed as she looked out the window watching the storm. Her thoughts drifted to her brother. She hadn't thought about him in a long time. He had died a while back in a car accident. On a stormy night like tonight. He was coming back from college to visit her and their parents when his car was hit. No one else had died in the crash and her brother had lived long enough to be brought to the hospital.
It was ironic how the storm outside had matched the one inside the hospital that night. She and her parents had been at the hospital the whole time her brother had been there. It had been the worst night of her life. She also hated hospitals too now because of the night her brother had died. She didn't hate them as much as she hated storms.
She remembered that night vividly. How could she forget it? It was the last night she'd ever spend with her older brother. The night she would watch her parents lose their oldest child. The night she had cried more than she'd ever had before. And the night she had realized the truth. There was no way to escape death. Everyone would die someday and she would have to learn to live with that. Of course she knew that before, but that night had put the truth into perspective.
A sudden hand on her back startled her. She spun around to see Tuck standing there, looking at her with concern. He could always read her like a book. That was a curse and a blessing. He could see the sadness in her eyes and he saw that the storm outside had bothered her. He was good at seeing past the mask she wore. She hid it well, but she flinched every time there was a clap of thunder and she was tense.
She gave him a sad smile and turned back to the window. He moved to sit by her on the floor, she had been sitting on the floor in the living room with Tuck's little sister, Chloe. She had suggested for them to color since she knew Chloe didn't like storms either. Tuck had came to check on them, noticing Hazel looking out the window when he walked into the living room. He knew what to do to help her, it was what her brother used to do.
He put his arm around her and pulled her closer. She moved easily, leaning into him and letting him pull her close. She let her head rest against his chest, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath. Tuck's scent was calming and familiar and he was warm and solid. He was comforting. She focused on the steady beat of his heart and his breathing.
When the sound of a loud thunder clap was heard, she jumped. He just held her tighter, rubbing her back and whispering soothing words to her. Chloe didn't seem to care though. She was too distracted by her coloring. Hazel envied her for that. She wished she could just focus on coloring and ignore the storm. She leaned into Tuck more, wrapping her arms around him.
"Starshine, I've got you. Just focus on me." He murmured in her ear, pulling her even closer.
She nodded and a small smile tugged on her lips. His nickname for her brought a small smile to her face. He had always called her that since they were little. He came up with the nickname for her, claiming that she was like sunshine and had brightened up his life. And he explained the star part as her being the guiding light in his darkest times. It was a nickname that always managed to make her feel special, even on the gloomiest of days. She closed her eyes, feeling the warmth of his embrace and letting his words wash over her like a soothing melody.
When there was suddenly a few urgent knocks at the door, the two best friends exchanged a confused look.
"Were you expecting anyone?" Hazel asked.
""No...Well, the new nanny was supposed to show up sometime soon, but I didn't think she'd be dumb enough to arrive in a storm like this." Tuck got to his feet and went to the door. It was pouring down rain and the wind was blowing hard. Whoever it was must have been desperate to be out there right now.
Tuck opens the door, the two of them being faced to face to a dark-haired woman, who looked panicked and scared. "Oh, hey." The brunette-haired woman smiles politely. "Listen, I was-"
"Well, well, well." Tuck smirks. "Looks like they sent us the perfect woman for the job."
Hazel laughs, rolling her eyes. "Tuck!" She scolded and Tuck sheepishly smiled, shrugging his shoulders.
"Oh, crap." The brunette-haired woman said worriedly. "What kind of ranch did I walk into?"
"Horses, mostly. You like horses?" Tuck asked curiously with a small smile.
"Tuck, you're scarin' her." Hazel warns as she stands up, moving to stand next to him. "Hi, I'm Hazel and I apologize for my best friend." She tells the woman with a sheepish expression. "He has no manners." Tuck makes an offended noise, but she ignores him. "You'll have to excuse him, he's an idiot. Though I promise he's not as bad as he seems." She added the last part quickly. Tuck looked offended again, but didn't say anything.
"I don't like horses much," The woman admitted, turning to leave.
"Wait!" Tuck exclaims, grabbing her arm. "Aren't you from the nanny agency?"
The brunette-haired woman looks at him with confusion. "No."
Tuck lets go of her arm and sighs. "Dang. Do you have any experience taking care of kids?" He asked hopefully.
The brunette-haired woman furrows her eyebrows, still looking confused. "No."
"Have you any experience lyin'? I do." Tuck remarks, pushing her into the house. When Hazel locks eyes with the woman, she sent her an apologetic look. She knew the woman was probably very confused and she felt bad for her. She sighs, stepping back as Tuck pushes the woman into the house and closes the door behind her. "Hey, y'all! Come meet our new nanny!" Tuck calls out to his siblings as he closes the door. He looks at the brunette-haired woman with a smile. "I'm Tuck, and you are?"
"Not a nanny. Look, my truck died, my phone died. I just need to use your phone-"
"Y'all, get down here!" Tuck shouts again, interrupting the woman. "Everybody, this is our new nanny." Tuck interrupted her, looking at his other siblings. Brody and Dylan walked down the stairs, but Cassidy was still up stairs. Chloe got up from the couch to join her brothers.
"I'm not a nanny." The brunette-haired woman quickly chimed in, looking confused and frazzled. Hazel didn't blame her. She would feel the same way if she was in her shoes.
"New nanny, that's Brody, Dylan, and Chloe." Tuck introduces his siblings, pointing at each of them. He points at Hazel with a smile. "And this is my best friend and our next door neighbor Hazel. She's over here a lot so you'll see her quite a bit."
The brunette-haired woman smiles at Tuck's siblings. "Hey, y'all. Is your mama or daddy around? I'm having a breakdown. My truck, and emotional."
"Been there, done that." Hazel retorted. She remembered the first time her car broke down and she had a mental breakdown at the same time since she was freaking out about it. She had been lucky enough that her grandparents owned a mechanic shop and she had her grandfather come help her.
"Actually, our mama died two years ago." Tuck explained.
The brunette-haired woman's eyes widen in surprise and then she glances at the kids with sympathy. "Oh, I'm so sorry."
"Thank you." Tuck said softly with a small smile.
"And thanks for showing up, Nanny..." Brody spoke up, his voice trailing off since he didn't know her name.
"No, Bailey." The brunette-haired woman introduces herself. "Just Bailey. Y'all, I really just need to use your phone, call a mechanic, get back home, wherever that is."
"My grandparents own a mechanic shop." Hazel speaks up, earning a relieved look from Bailey. "But the shop's closed because of the storm."
"You forgot where you live?" Chloe asks in surprise. "Did you check the tag on your backpack?"
Bailey bends down to her height with a smile, patting Chloe's shoulder. "Honey, I wish it were that simple."
Hazel couldn't help but flinch slightly when a loud thunder booms which caused the lights to flicker. Tuck sends her a sympathetic smile, wrapping an arm around her shoulders to comfort her. His hand rubbed up and down her arm, and she leaned into him a little. She took a shaky breath and relaxed slightly as his hand rubbed her arm. She gave him a grateful smile, thankful for him comforting her. He always seemed to know how to help her and he knew exactly what to do. He always managed to calm her down and she was grateful for that.
Chloe jumps, startled by the loud sound as well and hugs Bailey. "Oh, honey." Bailey said with surprise but she hugs Chloe back with a small smile. "It's okay. It's okay. I just need to use a phone. Cell phone. Home phone. Xylophone." She then notices one on the counter in the kitchen. She walks over to it with Chloe hugging on her leg. "Oh, is that a phone?"
"It doesn't matter." Tuck replies. "Storm knocked out all the phone service." He explained.
"Of course it did." Bailey frowns. She looks up and cries out, "Why do you hate me?" She walked back over to the others as another loud thunder boomed.
Hazel flinches again, whimpering slightly. "I hate storms." She mumbled, leaning into Tuck more.
"I know, starshine." Tuck replies quietly. "I'll keep you safe." He promised, leaning down to press a kiss to the top of her head.
"Look how good she is with children!" Brody commented.
"She's straight up Mary Poppins, bro." Tuck remarks. He grins. "I think nanny number ten is a winner."
Bailey looks at him with surprise. "Ten nannies? What is wrong with y'all?"
When Cassidy walks down the stairs, Tuck points at her. "Her. She's got some anger issues."
Cassidy narrows her eyes at Bailey. "Are you kiddin' me?" She glances at her brothers with annoyance. "We're not hiring her just 'cause you fools think she's hot."
"'You fools think I'm hot?" Bailey asked with surprise and she sounded a bit hopeful which made Hazel chuckle.
"Smokin'!" Tuck comments. Hazel rolls her eyes, smacking his arm lightly. She should've known he was only thinking about how hot the nanny was. He looked at her with raised eyebrows. "What?"
"That's all you can think about." Hazel rolls her eyes. "You're hopeless." She teased, a small smile tugging at her lips.
Tuck pouts, wrapping his arms around her and holding her close. He buries his face in the crook of her neck and she could feel his warm breath tickling her neck. "You're so mean." He whines. "And that's not all I can think about." He protested, his words coming out muffled. She just rolled her eyes and ignored him.
"So hot." Brody agreed, giving Bailey a thumbs up. Hazel chuckled and shook her head at their antics.
Bailey smiles, putting her hands over her heart. "You have no idea how much that means to me. You can't imagine what I've been through, and for y'all to think-"
"Resume, ma'am." Cassidy ordered, gesturing for Bailey to hand her the resume that all nannies who came to the ranch had.
"I-I don't have a resume..." Bailey stuttered, her eyes widening in surprise.
"Because you think you can just stroll through life on your good looks?" Cassidy questioned, putting her hands on her hips.
"No, because I'm not equipped to do anything." Bailey replied, starting sobbing at the end, and Hazel looked at her in sympathy. She felt bad for Bailey and wished there was something she could do for her even though she didn't know Bailey.
"Tell you what," Dylan steps forward with a smile. "We'll double whatever you were making at your last job, unless, of course," He guides her over to the couch. "We find out you were fired, in which chase we'll have to cut your salary in half and strip your bonuses until you prove yourself. It's called playing hardball, people." Bailey sat down on the couch, taking her cowboy hat off as Dylan walked back over to his siblings.
Chloe jumps up from the chair, looking scared when there was another loud clap of thunder. Hazel was scared as well, she didn't blame her, but she felt a little better since Tuck still had his arm around her shoulders. He had his chin on her shoulder and she leaned into his embrace. She focused on him, his steady heartbeat and breathing. His warmth and scent was comforting.
"Sweetie, you mind sittin' next to me?" Bailey asks, smiling softly at her. "I'm a little scared of thunder."
"Well, I guess if you're scared." Chloe ran over to the couch and jumped on her lap.
"Oh. It's okay." Bailey reassured her, wrapping her arms around her. Hazel found it sweet she was comforting Chloe even though she just met them all and said she didn't have any experience with children. She also wondered what Bailey's story was and how she ended up on the ranch. She doesn't know anyone who would be out in a storm like that. She didn't blame her for being so freaked out, it was terrifying out there.
When Hazel heard a familiar gasp, she glances over at the front door to see Beau and his girlfriend Summer walk in. Bailey's eyes widen and she looks worried. "Lord help me, another brother?" Chloe moved to sit by Bailey as Cassidy sat on the arm of the couch by them.
"Ah! You flatter me." Beau smiles. "I'm actually the daddy of all these." He pointed at his kids as Summer closed the front door and put her jacket on the coat rack.
"And I'm the daddy's girlfriend of all these." Summer cut in, putting a hand on Beau's back as she smiled at Bailey, but Hazel could tell she was clearly intimidated.
"Well, you are early for your interview, and I like that." Beau told Bailey.
"Oh, actually, Mr-"
"Beau." Beau interrupted Bailey with a smile.
"Mr. Beau-" Bailey started, looking confused.
"No, Beau's my first name." Beau spoke, reaching his hand out for her to shake.
Bailey stares at him in confusion as she shakes his hand. "Beau Beau?"
"Just Beau." Beau corrected.
Summer steps between the two, causing them to pull their hands away. "Just..." She chuckles nervously and smiles. "Just my Beau."
"Somebody's jealous." Hazel muttered in a sing-songy voice and Tuck chuckled, nodding in agreement.
Then they pulled away from each other to go grab their backpacks as Dylan and Brody did the same.
Summer stands by Beau again, linking her arm with his. "And who might you be?"
"Oh, I'm Bailey." Bailey smiles. "I was-"
"Our new nanny." Cassidy explains, standing up as she put her hands on her hips and she didn't look happy about this. "Bailey, Summer. Summer, Bailey." She introduced them to each other.
"Alright, lets go, daddy. Can't be late. See you after school, nanny." Tuck said, waving at Bailey. Hazel was dreading going to school out in the storm, but she didn't have a choice. She followed Tuck and the others to the door, fidgeting with the strap of her backpack as she looked out the window, seeing how terrible the storm was. She let out a shaky breath, taking a step closer to Tuck. He sensed her nerves and wrapped an arm around her, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.
Summer laughs nervously, stopping the kids from leaving. "Woah, hold on there, Tuck. Your daddy hasn't even checked her references yet."
Beau puts his hands on his hips and shrugs. "She thinks I look like their brother." He smiles at Bailey. "You're hired."
"Why are we wasting time?" Cassidy questions, gaining everyone's attention. "She's young, she's pretty, she's great with kids."
"I'm not a nanny!" Bailey exclaimed.
"Well, that will greatly reduce your salary." Dylan chimed in and Bailey rolled her eyes.
"Bailey, if you're not a nanny, what exactly you doin' in our house?" Beau inquired, narrowing his eyes at the woman.
"Well, it all started last night when me and my boyfriend, Boone, were singing at Tootsies." Bailey explains. "Our band's been playing at that club forever, but last night, Mr. Sam Gold from Sam Gold Records was coming in to see us. He's one of the biggest producers in country music. If he likes you, it can change your whole life. And not to toot our own horns, but we crushed it."
"Turns out, Mr. Sam Gold didn't think we crushed it the way I thought we crushed it, and I was crushed." Bailey frowned and everyone looked at her in sympathy.
"So, why are you in our house?" Beau asked.
"Well, needles to say, I was pretty devastated, but Boone didn't wanna wallow in our misery. He wanted to talk about our future." Bailey sobs. "He picked none of me." Hazel frowned at her, looking at her with sympathy. She felt bad for her and wondered how a guy could just dump her like that.
"Oh, you poor thing." Summer frowns. "I am gonna call you an Uber this minute to take you home."
"I don't have a home." Bailey cries. "Me and Boone lived together."
"So that's why you were driving all night in this storm?" Brody realizes, looking at her in sympathy. "You had no place to go?"
"No." Bailey shakes her head. "Can you believe it? In one night, I lost my home, my career, and my man."
"Now that's a nightmare right there." Hazel commented. She couldn't even begin to imagine what she would do if she lost everything like that. That was scary.
"Yeah, tell me about it." Bailey sighed.
Tuck looks at her with a smirk. "So, you're single?"
"Tuck." Hazel scolded, hitting the back of his head.
"What? I was just asking a question!" Tuck defended himself, looking at her with a sheepish smile. She shook her head at him and rolled her eyes.
"Listen, if someone could please just give me a ride to the service station-" Bailey started to say, but then an alarm blared as another loud thunder boomed. Hazel felt dread in the pit of her stomach, knowing the alarm was a warning signal for a tornado. She could feel her heart racing in her chest, pounding loudly against her ribs. She let out a shaky breath and wrapped her arms around herself. She stepped closer to Tuck, who immediately sensed her anxiety and wrapped an arm around her to comfort her.
"Well, looks like we're not going to school today." Hazel spoke nervously.
"Tornado!" Chloe shouted worriedly, running over to her dad, who picked her up.
"Alright, come on. Y'all know the drill. Everyone in the basement." Beau ordered. Hazel nodded, knowing where the basement was since they had a plan for emergencies like this. They all walked towards the stairs and went to the basement. Summer called out for them to wait for her but the door closed on her. Luckily, Beau was right by the door when he heard her knock on the door so he let her in real quick before closing and locking the door.
Everyone in the basement got everything prepared for the tornado, turning on all the flashlights. In the basement, everything you could possibly need to be prepared for a tornado was in there. Such as food, flashlights, water, medical supplies, and other necessities. The teens who had brought their backpacks with them set their backups off to the side. Hazel was now helping the boys and Cassidy with turning on all the flashlights.
Hazel's anxiety was skyrocketing as she sat on the floor next to Tuck. Her knee bounced up and down and she could hear her heart beating in her ears. She didn't even notice how bad her hands were shaking until Tuck gently took her hands in his and laced their fingers together. She looked at him with surprise and he gave her a reassuring smile.
"Just focus on me, starshine." Tuck tells softly. "I'm right here. Just focus on me." He said quietly so only she could hear him. "Deep breaths, remember? Just breathe." She nodded, taking deep breaths as she did her best to focus on him.
Bailey watches the interaction, looking concern. "Is she okay?" She asked Beau as she walked down the stairs.
"Hazel's always had a fear of storms." Beau explains. "She gets anxious when there's a big storm. Especially a tornado. But she'll be okay, Tuck's here to help her." He said with a small smile. "He knows exactly what to do and he always manages to calm her down. It's a good thing they have each other, they've been best friends since they were babies."
Bailey nods, smiling. "That's sweet. I'm glad they have each other." She commented, looking over at them again. Hazel had her head resting on his shoulder and his head rested on top of hers. She was squeezing his hands, her eyes closed tight as her leg kept bouncing. Bailey frowned, feeling bad for her and hoped she'd be okay.
"Oh, careful on those stairs, Bailey. They're very steep." Beau spoke as Bailey walked down the stairs.
"No, no, don't worry about me, sugar." Summer said shakily, holding onto the railing while raising her other hand that held her purse. "My stilettos are much safer than her flat steel-toed boots." When she almost got to the end of the steps, Beau took her hand and helped her off the last few steps.
"So, this is how it all ends." Bailey commented, looking around in disbelief.
"What? Oh, no. We'll be fine." Hazel speaks up quietly, flinching when she heard the loud thunder. "Hopefully." She mumbled under her breath.
Bailey then notices the musical instruments that were covered by tarps off to the side. "What's under there?"
"It's the last nine nannies." Beau replied jokingly as he carried Chloe.
Bailey chuckles, but then she looks nervous. "You're kidding, right?"
"Don't worry," Hazel chimes in with a chuckle. "He's kidding. I mean, if we did do that the basement would be an awful spot for it. It's too obvious." As another loud thunder boomed, she jumped and pressed herself closer to Tuck, her grip on his hands tightening. He winced, but he didn't say anything. Her nails were digging into his skin, but he didn't mind. She was going through a lot right now and she needed him. He'd never say anything. He'd be whatever she needed him to be. He'd always be there for her.
Beau had set his daughter down to check to make sure things were prepared. Chloe had sat down on a chest and was shaking because she was so scared.
"Oh, honey. You're shivern'." Bailey noticed, taking her leather jacket off and wrapped it around Chloe. Summer then took her scarf off and wrapped it over Chloe's head, earning an annoyed look from Chloe
Beau sits by Summer, smiling at her as Hazel and Tuck sits down on a cooler by Bailey and Chloe. Dylan sat nearby his dad and Summer while Cassidy sat nearby Hazel and Tuck. "Y'all are so lucky to have each other. In times like these, I guess I'll have to ride out the rest of the tornadoes in my life alone."
"Darlin', I'm sure there's someone special waiting for you." Summer comforts her. "Out there." She added, hinting that she didn't want Bailey to be there. Hazel rolled her eyes at that. She thought it was ridiculous that Summer was jealous of Bailey and didn't want her there.
"I sure do envy y'all." Bailey admits. "You all have such a beautiful family."
"Thank you." Beau smiles. "And even though Hazel's not related to us, we count her as family." He glances at Hazel with a smile, who returns the smile. Beau then looks at Bailey curiously. "Where's your family, Bailey?"
"Oh, I don't really have much of a family other than Boone." Bailey explains. "And, well, you know what happened there. As far as my other family, my mama ran out on me when I was two."
The group looks at her in sympathy. Tuck puts a hand on her back and frowns. "Who would walk out on you?" Bailey shrugged and frowned.
"So far, Boone and her mama. And she's just gettin' started." Summer retorted and then sheepishly smiled after some of the looks she got from Hazel and the others.
When the small window near the ceiling on the back wall suddenly shattered, everyone panics. Dylan, Beau, and Summer all stood along with Bailey. Tuck had leaned over to Hazel, covering her with his body just in case glass had reached over to them. She had her eyes squeezed shut, gripping onto his shirt and her hands were trembling. She felt safe with him protecting her, she knew he would keep her safe.
When she opened her eyes, she saw that Tuck had been looking at her with worry. "Are you alright, starshine?" He asked.
"I'm fine." She replies, letting out a shaky breath. She felt bad he had gotten hurt earlier from her nails digging into his hands. She glanced down at his hands and frowns at noticing the crescent moon shaped marks that were still there. "I'm sorry." She mumbled, loosening her grip on his shirt.
He furrows his eyebrows, confused. "Sorry for what?"
"Your hands." She replies, grabbing his hands and flipping them over to show his palms. "I'm sorry." She mumbled.
His eyebrows furrowed as he stared at his hands, he had forgot that he was hurt. "It's okay, starshine. I'm okay." He reassures her. "Don't worry about it." He told her, pressing a kiss to her temple. She relaxed at his touch and sighed. She was grateful to have him. He had always been there for her. No matter what.
"I've got you, Chlo." Cassidy reassured her little sister, standing up immediately when Chloe stood and ran over to her. Cassidy hugged Chloe, keeping her close.
"Boys! Over here." Beau called out as he ran over to the window where a tree branch fell through the window. Tuck hesitated before leaving Hazel, but she sent him a reassuring look and he nodded as he stood to go help his dad and brothers. Hazel got up and went over to Cassidy and Chloe to comfort them, wrapping her arms around them as another thunder crashed. Chloe had her ears covered, Bailey's leather jacket still wrapped around her and Cassidy's arms wrapped around her. Hazel stood by the two girls, her arms around them to comfort them. She had a close bond with the two girls and ever since meeting them they always had a sister type of bond.
"It's gonna be okay." Hazel reassured them, also trying to reassure herself.
The boys got a big tarp to hang up over the window to block it. After noticing how everyone was panicked, Bailey got an idea when she glanced at one of the acoustic guitars in the basement. She picked one up that had flowers on it and started playing as she stood by the girls.
"I've been cheated, been mistreated. When will I be loved?" The girls look more calm as they listened to Bailey sing, Cassidy had her hands on Chloe's shoulders and Hazel had her hands on Cassidy's shoulders. By this time the boys had finished putting the tarp over the window and was listening to Bailey with a smile on their face.
Bailey kneels down by Chloe, who lowers her hands and slowly looks less scared. "I've been put down. I've been pushed around." Cassidy backed up though and Hazel could see the tears in her eyes and the anger slowly forming on her face. She knew it wasn't the storm, she knew the real reason Cassidy looked upset. Hazel kept her hands on Cassidy's shoulders, gently squeezing them to get her attention and she glanced at her with concern silently asking if she was okay. Cassidy just shoved her hands off her shoulders in response, crossing her arms and stepping away from her which made Hazel frown.
She didn't know why Cassie was acting so rude all of a sudden. But then she realized something. Bailey was playing with Cassie's moms guitar. She knew her mom meant a lot to her. She sighed sadly and gave her some space she needed.
Hazel smiles a bit though when she noticed Tuck pick up his guitar and Brody picked up his mandolin. "When will I be loved?" Bailey sings. Dylan pulls the tarp off the drum set to sit down at it and joins in on playing the song, earning a surprised look from Bailey, but then she smiles. "When I find a new man that I want for mine. Always breaks my heart in two." She kneels by Chloe again and Chloe smiles widely at her as she sways to the side. Tuck walks over to them, patting his sister on the shoulder with a smile before he nudges Hazel and shares a smile with her. He then stands by Bailey, playing his acoustic guitar as he sings along with Bailey. "It happens every time."
Hazel exchanges a smile with Chloe, extending a hand out for her. She takes it with a wide smile and she twirls Chloe around as Bailey and Tuck kept singing, joining by everyone else but Cassidy. "I've been cheated, been mistreated. When will I be-"
"Stop!" Cassidy yells, interrupting the singing and music just as another thunder boomed. "Stop!" Cassidy cried, taking the guitar from Bailey and ran into another room in the basement, closing the door behind her. Hazel shared a concerned look with the others as Cassidy locked herself in the room.
