*he arrived at his tower*

Alberto: UGH! You idiot! why did you bite her! now she's gonna think you're a monster!

???: Well well well...

Alberto: Huh? who said that?

???: Over here

*alberto turned around and saw a shadow with red eyes*

Alberto: Who- who are you?

???: Bruno

Alberto: Wait what?! you're real?!

Bruno: Yeees i saw what happened and i thought that...ah gosh that you made a promise to her a couple of nights ago that...you wouldn't let the poor girl get hurt

Alberto: No no, I didn't!

Bruno: Don't deny it! you broke your promise and soon you'll be right back where you started when your father abandoned you, alone, unwanted and with no one to love you *chuckles maliciously*

Alberto: *growls* THAT'S IT! I'LL KILL YOU BRUNO!!!!!

*the shadow jumped from place to place while alberto tried to attack him, almost destroying the main tower room until he reached the vespa poster and tore it down, revealing the tally marks he left from when his father left him*

Alberto: *gasps softly* No...no

Bruno: Yes...now you know how it feels to again lose another one you love...face it...you don't deserve ANYBODY

*alberto looked down sadly before he collapsed onto his knees and sobbed*

*after a while, he raised his head up and looked up at the stars before music started playing in the background*

*suddenly the scenery around them changed to nothing but black with only but a single spotlight*

Alberto: I was at the top and now it's like I'm in a basement

*the scenery fades and the two are seperated once more*

*After a while Beatstar jumps into the water to be alone for a while*

*she swam onto the sea floor and sat down as she began to sing quietly*

Beatstar: S.O.S please someone help me, It's not healthy...for me to feel this

Beatstar: Y-O-U are makin' it hard

Beatstar: I can't help it, see it don't feel right

Beatstar: This time, please someone come and rescue me~...

*Suddenly Beatstar heard the sound of someone swimming away*

Beatstar: Alberto?

*beatstar got up from the sea floor and goes off to search for him*

*Beatstar swam around trying to find him but due to it being nighttime and the water being dark, she couldn't see him*

Beatstar: Alberto! Alberto? where are you? I just wanna talk!

Beatstar: *sighs* Come on, where could he be?

*suddenly she heard a loud growl and her eyes shrinked in realization and she turned around and screamed*

*Behind her was a giant black eel bigger than her with piercing red eyes*

*The eel roared at her and began to swim towards her to attack her*

*Beatstar tried to run but the eel was a lot more faster than her and scratched her cheek resulting her letting out a yelp of pain*

*then she swam into a cave to seek shelter but the eel found her and she was cornered and then curled into a ball*

Beatstar (quietly and quivering): Alberto...please...help me

*Suddenly just before the eel could attack her, something pounced it and began to wrestle it*

???: GET AWAY FROM HER!

*then beatstar got up and ran behind a sea rock to get a look at who saved her*

*It was a periwinkle sea monster, it had purple pedal shaped hair with sharp fins on it's arms, legs and tail but its clothes were exactly like Alberto's, it even sounded like him*

???: Let go of my leg!

*then the sea monster swung its tail at the eel and the eel let go of the sea monster's leg*

*Then the eel threw the sea monster towards the rock where beatstar was hiding but it lunged off the rock and pounced the eel and kicked it down*

???: Listen here you, I didn't wanna have to harm you but you left me no choice, now you leave her alone or else you'll be getting more of me got that?

*the eel hissed angrily at the sea monster before it swam away quickly*

*the sea monster panted as it watched the eel leave, it left several marks on it, like bite marks and scratches*

Beatstar: Hello?

*The sea monster turned to beatstar, letting her get a full view of his face*

*Her eyes widened and silently gasped when her eyes met with the sea monster's, he had neon green eyes...just like alberto, could it be?*

*she reached her hand towards him, but he immediately swam away*

Beatstar: H- hey wait! Don't go! *swims after the sea monster* Wait! who are you?

*the sea monster didn't listen and it swam far out of sight*

*beatstar looked around to see where it went but it was useless and instead swam back up to the surface and her wings and horn disappeared and went to go find giulia*

Giulia: Beatstar! *rushes over to her and hugs her* there you are! where have you been?

Beatstar: Oh...right sorry, i guess i lost track

Giulia: *sighs* Come on let's get you to Papà

*Beatstar follows giulia to her house*

*when they reached giulia's house*

Massimo: Oh, there you are! I made your favorite, trenette al pesto

Massimo: Where's Alberto?

Beatstar: Oh...he- he left, Mr. Marcovaldo

Massimo: Do you know where he went?

Beatstar: No, but I don't think he wants anyone looking for him

Massimo: Maybe not, But just in case

*Massimo leaves them with machiavelli on his shoulder to go look for alberto*

Giulia: Beatstar what happened out there? why's your arm all bloody?

Beatstar: *sighs* Promise you won't tell anybody about this?

Beatstar: Uhh sure, what is it?

Beatstar: Alberto bit me...

Giulia: Alberto?

Beatstar: Yeah, we had a fight earlier and while we were fighting...he bit me

Giulia: Don't worry i'm gonna get some bandages, stay right here

*giulia goes to get some bandages*

Giulia (while wrapping beatstar's arm up): Wait how did alberto even make your arm bleed? his teeth don't look like they aren't that sharp

Beatstar: I don't know either, I should go out there and find him and talk to him myself

Giulia: Yeah, you probably should

*beatstar stands up*

Beatstar: I'll be right back *exits giulia's house*

*At the shore*

*Beatstar stood still but then swam over to alberto's island*

*When she got to the tower she saw that the ladder was knocked down and broken so she scaled the tower until she reached the main tower room*

*beatstar gasps in shock at the mess in it and stands up and looks around*

Beatstar: Alberto?

*Beatstar continued to look around but she couldn't find him and looked down as her ears drooped down in sadness*

Alberto: What are you doing here?

*beatstar turned around and saw alberto sitting on the top holding his knees*

Beatstar: Alberto...I just wanna say that...I'm- I'm sorry, I never should've said that and I take it back

Alberto: Yeah whatever, you're sorry, Now just...go

*Alberto walks away and beatstar looks down sadly before she notices the tally marks on the wall from when his father left him*

*Beatstar follows alberto up to the top and remains still*

Beatstar: Alberto? what are those marks on the wall?

*Alberto doesn't respond and scoots away slightly*

Beatstar: Tell me what they mean...

Alberto:...*sighs* I started when my dad left

Beatstar: Wait...you were living here alone for that long?

Alberto: *sniffles* I just stopped counting after a while

Alberto: He said I was old enough to be on my own, I just thought that...*sighs*...maybe he'd change his mind

Alberto: Honestly though, I get it, he's better off without me...you are too

Beatstar: Alberto, that's not true

Alberto: Yes it is! You're not like me, you're the princess from another world

Alberto (tearfully): And I- I bit you and you're terrified of me

Beatstar: I'm not afraid of you and I never will be, you were gonna bring me home-

Alberto: Just let it go! Okay? I should've let you drown in the first place

Beatstar: Hey, don't say that...Alberto? *walks over to him and nudges him gently*

Alberto: GET AWAY FROM ME! *pushes her away causing her to back up* I'm not gonna tell you again...

*then alberto hears a whooshing sound behind him and sees that beatstar is gone but then notices one of her feathers on the wooden surface and picks it up carefully before looking down*

Alberto (whispering under breath): I'm sorry beatstar...
