" you think its the brotherhood again?" Y/n asked as he took off his shirt as he and rogue stood in the mens changing room, hey its only a problem if rogue gets caught.

"Its possible, but ah just hope it Ain't the savage land again, takes way to damn long to clean the mud of my boots." Rogue said irritated by the thought.

"Not to mention fighting sauron is straight up annoying." Y/n said pulling up his pants, he then noticed rogue eyeing him up, and he smirked. " thought you said after we get back?" He asked playfully.

"That don't mean ah can't look, now back to it suguh." Rogue urged with a smile.

Y/n chuckled and continued. " by the way you know you can just fly over the mud right?"

"Well duh but ah can still knocked to the ground." Rogue spoke rolling her eyes.

"Skill issue." Y/n joked and got promptly swatted over his head. "Ow! Kidding."

Y/n finally put his uniform.

(Ignore the shovel and handbag and place the X symbol wherever you like, think of this as his base uniform, i will add others as other missions happen.)

"Still surprised you wear boots now." Rogue asked looking them over.

"I lost one to many nice sneakers and shoes while on a mission, if these get busted i couldn't care less." Y/n spoke as his precious footwear just wasn't built for this kind of life.

"Hm, and ah still can't convince you to wear somethin tighter?" Rogue asked with a playful smile, his ass would look real nice in spandex.

"Hah, that will be the day xavier grows some hair." Y/n chuckled as he laid a kiss on her lips. " now lets go before boy-scout gives me a lecture"

"You know you have it comin half of the time." Rogue joked as she walked beside him.

" that don't make it any less annoying." Y/n chuckled.

The War Room.

Y/n and rogue eventually made it to the war room along with their fellow teammates.

"Greetings everyone." Professor Xavier spoke, getting down to buisness. " I know the timing isn't ideal but this is a delicate situation."

"Well don't keep us in suspense, what's up?" Y/n  speaks itching for a bit of action.

"With the aid of cerebro i have discovered many mutants in motion within the state of Florida." Professor x explained a he hit a button on the hologram of earth zooming in on Florida.

" so this is an extraction?" Nightcrawler asks curiously.

" I'm afraid it's more of a rescue kurt." Xavier spoke in concern. "The friends of humanity are holding mutants captive many of which  are children."

"Always something going on in Florida. " wolverine commented shaking his head."

"Nothing if not consistent." Y/n spoke agreeing, then looked at the professor. "But why the concern? we deal with the FOH every other Thursday." Y/n spoke  casually not believing this was anything they couldn't handle.

"your vote of confidence is always welcome y/n, but even you should remember there is no greater danger than underestimating your enemy." ororo advised.

"Indeed,  the friends of humanity have gained access to stronger technology and their collective has grown quite large since its inception, one pore move and we put the captive mutants at risk, saving them is your top priority, avoid a fight if you can."  Xavier spoke firmly.

" but I wanna crack bigot jaws." Y/n pouts crossing his arms.

Jean raised her brow amused. "  you do know fighting is supposed to be our last resort right?"

" and you want to fight somebody all the time suguh," rogue  speaks shaking her head at her boyfriend.

" whaaat? I don't want to fight all the time." Y/n thought rolling his eyes. Suddenly all eyes were on him as if questioning the validity of that statement. " what?"

" remember that mix up  we had with The Hand? ." Gambit questioned.

Flashback.

" you came alone?" what makes you think you are in any less danger then your foolish allies?" Gorgon spoke gesturing over to the knocked out morph and angel?"

"No need for another fight y/n just try to de-escalate the situation?" Cyclops spoke in an earpiece.

Y/n however didn't like this man's energy. "  because they ain't me."  He answered.

Gorgon as well as y/Ns teammates collectively paused at his statement. " I beg your pardon?" The gorgon asked.

"THEY AINT ME, RUN THEM HANDS UP!!!" Y/n shouted at the Gorgon.

"PUT YOUR PAWS UP HOMIE!!! , RUN THEM THANGS!" The X-men heard over their comlink and cyclops palmed his face.

Flashback end.

".......but that was a while ago." Y/n tried to defend himself sheepishly.

"Last week ain't a while ago." Rogue spoke putting her hands on her hips.

"Alright that's enough, we got our mission." Cyclops said bringing the convo to a halt.

" yes, forge has the blackbird prepared for you all the coordinates ,  best of luck to you all." Xavier said dismissing them

On The Blackbird.

"Seriously, florida, of all places." Y/n questions leaning back into his seat , the black bird flew past the clouds.

"Does it matter?" Wolverine questioned.

" i mean yeah, why not some place like Wyoming, or Oregon, idk just wouldn't be my first choice if i wanted to go under the radar." Y/n shrugged.

"We cannot have a preference on where are enemies might land pugilist." Storm speaks.

"And cmon florida really isn't that bad, i mean it's home to the happiest place on earth." Jean spoke, no doubt speaking of Disney world.

"Eh, universal is way better." Y/n spoke, disney world was overrated in his opinion.

"Words hurt." Jean speaks with a pout, she was a disney fan then thought over. " although, we've never actually gone together Scott." Jean asks her fiancé Scott.

" well summer vacation isn't to far away... is it really better?" Scott asked as he piloted the black bird along side storm.

" oh yeah, better rides and attractions." Y/n noted.

"And don't forget cheaper." Rogue added having gone with y/n last year.

"Say no more." Cyclops spoke on board with the idea, their expenses may have been coveted by xavier but Disney prices were so absurd it hurt to spend regardless.

Jean chuckled making a mental note to clear up their schedule for summer vacation.

" the south is quite known for their cuisine." Nightcrawler brought up, then looked to their resident card player. " any recommendations from the chef?"

"Gambit thinks if we got the time we catch us an alligator, y'all never want chicken again." Gambit says with a smirk as he shuffles his cards.

" eating a whole alligator?.....aight I'm down." Y/n shrugged, he grew up on seafood so this isn't that crazy to him.

" I got dibs on putting it down, Been a while since i wrestled an alligator." Wolverine says with that smirk of his.

"Oh hush logan." Storm says shaking her head with a small smile.

"Landing now everyone." Cyclopes announced as he and storm began to lower the plane. " hope you're ready to see the The Everglades."

"The Everglades?? ugh, well it ain't the savage land ah guess." Rogue groaned, mentally preparing to clean her boots for an hour, y/n chucked and pat her leg,

Later. Florida Everglades.

The X-Men follow wolverine who is currently tracking the friends of humanity.

Wolverine sniffed the air a bit " they split off recently, one group this way , the other that way." Wolverine said pointing in two directions within the forest.

" alright, then we do the same." Cyclops then looks at y/n. "me Jean wolverine and storm will take the right." Cyclops spoke.

" anything happens we're a thought away." Jean spoke, establishing a psychic link between all of them.

" alright, I'm ready when you guys are." Y/n said smirking and palming his fist.

"Good luck , let's Move out." cyclops ordered as the team split off in their respective directions.

The "B" team as y/n would say as when he was on a group that was lead by him instead of cyclops or storm walk then through the forest until y/n caught something in his eyes and motioned for everyone to keep their heads low.

It was the FOH , currently having set up shop in an abandoned facility, looking to be clearing out, if the crates were anything to go by.

"Alright mon Ami, what be the play?" Gambit asked placing his hand on y/ns shoulder .

"Hmm..." y/n begins thinking. "there's guys in a tower, no doubt handling communication , alerting everyone if they catch something, guys moving in out of that buildin..and some guys moving out into the forest? Oh this is too easy." " alright , nightcrawler handle those guys up on the tower, slash up anything that could set off an alarm, rogue , gambit, when he gives the ok , move in on the building, I'm gonna tail the guys walking away from the camp, see where else they're going."

"As you wish." Nightcrawler nods with a smile then disappears in a BAMF

Rogue kisses y/Ns cheek. " be careful south paw."

"Ain't I always." Y/n jokes.

"No/nah." Gambit and rogue speak in unison, making y/n face fault rogue then catches nightcrawler waving at them from the tower. " let's handle business swamp rat."

"Ladies first." Gambit said politely.

Y/n then got to walking through the bushes to wear the guys were heading the sound of fighting fading out as he went further away, y/n then notices what looks like rain clouds about half a mile out. "Now that's always good to see." Y/n smiling at the clear sign of storm handling business.

Y/n found out that the goons had indeed set up something else on the side and the sight made his blood boil.

Mutants, being held in cages, as the goons kept track of them like they were stock to be sold.

"Motherfuckers..." y/n growled mentally as he clenched his fist, many of them were children.

Y/n kept his head low eying how many he needed to take out, he felt eyes on him and saw a mutant staring at him with wide eyes from a nearby cage, a young adult as he was standing over the mutant children. Y/n motioned him to remain silent and he quickly nodded, and pretended to mind his own business.

The mutant watched as one by one in blink of an y/n had snatched terrible men away, even cringing as some painful right hooks that he had landed on them before laying them in the tall grass.

In a tent there was a goon currently messing with an energy rifle over a table. " hehe I can't wait to shoot some muties with this thing." The goon said cockily

" what's the point? You guys can't shoot for shit ."

The goon quickly turned around was greeted by a firm to his chin, bouncing off the table and remaining on the ground, y/n then walked over to the man and removed the keys from of his pants and the control that unlocks the collars on all of the mutants..

Y/n then quickly walked over the cage. " everybody ok?" Y/n asked gently as he turned off everybody's collars and unlocked the first cage.

"Are you an X-Man?" A little girl with orange skin asked looking up at him in wonder.

Y/n smiled and showed her the x-symbol on his uniform. " sure am, we're here to get you out of here." Y/n said petting the girls head.

"All of us?" Teenage mutant asked unsure as there was about 20 of them here.

Y/n nodded. "The black bird has enough space, Now let's-" y/n ears twitchand immediately blocks a blast of energy, hardly hurting his skin.

" kill them all!" a FOH goon yelled within the forest as they came pouring through the bushes.

Y/n quickly his fist with energy and punched the grounded, sending out a ripple across the ground throwing many of them of balance. " GO!" Y/n ordered pointing where they need to go.

The young teenage mutant quickly took the lead with all of them running and following.

Y/n quickly blocked more energy shots until the mutants weren't clear targets anymore.

"Rogue, kids headed your way!" Y/n yelled mentally as he dragon kicked one guy into another.

" southpaw what's going on?!" rogue asked in concern, sensing the urgency in his voice.

" assholes came pouring in while i was releasing them, dealing with them now, make sure the kids get home safe, no way of knowing how many are really here!." Y/n spoke as he weaved through several blasts delivering a haymaker to the goon before spin kicking a grenade away.

"Sit tight pugilist, we'll be there as soon as we can!." Cyclops mentally , though from the sound of it there was still dealing with things one their end.

" mutants first guys then me!" Y/n yelled he saw a vehicle charging from behind him , and delivered a charged punch to it, sending it rolling away.

Y/n kept seeing them pouring in, and dealing with them would be of little issue but y/n got an idea.

"Guys do you trust me?" Y/n asks everyone as he bats a goon with an electric baton.

" is that a serious question?!"Wolverine asked in confusion.

"We do" Storm answered.

" what are you up to southpaw?" Rogue asking in concern.

"Don't worry Rogue , just something to take the heat off of you." Y/n speaks simply mentally.

Y/n then slowed to a halt and put his hands up. " I surrender."

Everyone FOH member in sight has a weapon trained on him.

"Collar him!" Who seemed to be the leading man shouted seizing the opportunity.

A guy "forced" him to his knees and put the mutant collared him. Y/n felt his strength being sapped away but not all, y/n smirked , he had his genetics to thank on that one.

Suddenly the bit of a rifle knocked him across the face, drawing a bit of blood from the inside of his cheek. "Mr. Creed is gonna have fun picking you apart Mutie." The lead goon growled in his face.

" I hope his breath ain't as hot as yours." Y/n joked, though he was serious, he got another hit to the face for his comment. " ngh! just saying." Y/n grunted though he was really selling it .

" take him to the chopper!" The leading guy ordered and the goons began dragging y/n away, y/n inwardly smirked.

" everyone ok?" Y/n asked mentally

" everyone is secure, what about you?"cyclops asked.

" I'm getting put on a chopper, just be ready to follow on the black bird"y/n said simply as he kept walking.

" and just how are we going to get you off the helicopter?" Jean asked in understandable confusion.

"You'll see, like I said, just trust me." Y/n spoke simply.

Later on the blackbird.

The team was currently tailing a trio of helicopters while the blackbird was cloaked and out of sight and radar, nightcrawler was currently mutants company in the back end of the bird.

"Sigh...just what is he up to?" Rogue spoke in concern as she looked at the large helicopter through the window of the black bird.

"Don't you worry none rogue, he been in scrapes like these before." Gambit spoke casually, confident y/n had this handled.

" pugilist, we are right behind you." Jean spoke through the psychic link.

"All I needed to hear red, now everybody sit back and enjoy the show." Y/n spoke in confidence.

"Did he say show?" Nightcrawler wondered curiously.

"Hm, let us listen in shall we?" Storm spoke as she hit a couple buttons and a moment later they were hearing radio chatter.

" sir, We're en route, everything's a go." The FOH pilot spoke.

"Hear you loud and clear, Report cargo status of captured of the mutants, over!" A superior officer answered.
(Cue- it doesn't matter-SA2)

" the mutants splipped through are fingers sir.. but we have captured an X-man and... What?!" The pilot exclaimed In shock.

The X-Men were paying close attention.

"Didn't copy that, over" The superior spoke.

"The Mutants gone! he's taken out everyone aboard and-

The helicopter door was sent flying away and out came y/n, who latched on to the wing of the helicopter, to avoid free falling.

"Hah! Never a dull moment with that knucklehead" Wolverine said smiling from ear to ear.

"Disengaging cloak." Cyclops spoke pressing a button.

Y/n avoided gun fire from the wing and smirked when he saw the black bird come into view behind him.
He let go of the wing flipping through the air before latching on to the tap of the plane, the emergency hatch being opened and y/n jumped in.

Cyclops and storm then hit the gas and blasted away, leaving the helicopters in the dust.

Y/n strolled right in with a smile on face. " and now y'all know why I'm awesome."

Rogue walks rights up to smacked him. " ah! Damn wha-" rogue then pulled him into a chaste kiss. " boy you get on my last nerve!" Rogue expressed in irritation as she hugged y/n.

"Yea yeah you love me." Y/n said with a smile kissing her head.

"Had a fun flight?" Jean asked with an amused yet relieved smirk.

"Nah, there wasn't even food or movies on that thing, can you believe that? Y/n joked rubbing rouges back.

" how were you able to get past their collar?" Storm asked curiously.

" it's my energy." Y/n said lifting up his hand and making it glow a bit. " doesn't do well with tech, so blind siding them was real easy." Y/n explained with a smile., his power sure had its perks.

" alright then, so we done here? I need a beer." Wolverine expressed ready to call it a day.

" gambit seconds that." Gambit expressed with a smile.

Cyclops grows a satisfied smile. " mission accomplished X-Men, Let's go home." Cyclops spoke as they head back to the mansion.
