Part 6
[Foxy's POV]
I wake up with a start, panting as fear racks my body. I just saw Mangle die before me. I try to slow my breathing and calm myself down. I manage to slow my breathing and get my mind out of a panic. It was just a nightmare. Wait, a nightmare? I've never had a nightmare before. So why am I now? I immediately about hace and head straight through the door behind me. As soon as I step through the door, I'm met with a white and pink fox face in front of me.
"Gah!" I cry out is shock as I jump back. The figure jumps back and I soon realize it to be Mangle.
"Whoa! Oh, I'm sorry, Foxy! I didn't mean to startle you!" Mangle says. I slowly breathe in and out to calm myself down.
"Aye. It be okay, lass. I be fine now," I say, even though I was panicked not even a minute ago. I walk in the store with Mangle trailing behind me.
"Oh! Foxy! What are you doing here?" The owner says, surprised. I'm a little confused as I walk up to the owner.
"What are ye talkin' about, lad?" I say, uncertainty leaking through my voice.
"You have the day off today so the new hire can get a little time in," The owner says. I flinch in surprise.
"Really?" I say. The owner nods.
"Yeah, Really," The owner says. I grunt in surprise.
"Oh, okay," I say. I turn around and walk towards Mangle and the back door of the shop.
"What's going on?" Mangle says, following me out of the shop.
"I got the day off today," I say. Mangle gasps in surprise.
"Really?" Mangle says, hopeful. I chuckle lightly at her light tone of voice.
"Yes, lass. Really," I say. Mangle jumps lightly with joy.
"Foxy, that's great!" Mangle says before hugging me. I smile warmly and hug back, sending a warm feeling throughout my wires. We're standing there hugging for a bit before I speak up.
"So, what now, lass?" I say, still holding Mangle.
"I don't know, Foxy. What do you want to do?" Mangle says. I sigh lightly.
"Well, one thing's for sure, I'm not goin' back to my place," I say. Mangle shifts to look up at me.
"Why not?" Mangle says, innocence and curiosity warmly shown in her voice.
"Because Freddy and the lads are probably out killin' the night guard again," I say, scoffing lightly halfway through my sentence.
"Oh," Mangle says, sighing lightly.
"We probably aren't goin' out to yer place, due to that Fred," I say. Mangle scoffs lightly.
"Yeah. You probably don't want to meet him," Mangle says.
"Aye," I say. I hold mangle out so she's facing me. "I really love ye, lass. I really do," I say, smiling softly at Mangle. Mangle smiles softly at me.
"I love you, too, Foxy," Mangle says. I feel my heart rate pick up as I close my eyes and lean forewords, feeling Mangle do the same. I feel Mangle's warm breath run across my snout as I near her, until-
"Mangle!" I hear a deep voice. I feel a cold, plastic and metal hand grab my shoulder roughly and, next thing I know, I'm flying through the air. I hit a dumpster and shake off the dizziness of the impact and look up to see, Freddy? He looks different, with a plastic look and rosy cheeks, as well as a red stripe running across his hat. I manage to stand, supporting myself with the dumpster.
"Fred! No! This isn't necessary!" I hear Mangle cry out. I hear a light smacking thud and hear Mangle grunt in pain. Did he just hit Mangle? I look up at the animatronic bear and scoff.
"So, ye must be this Fred that Mangle talks about?" I say. Fred stomps up to me, his eyes black with white pupils.
"Who are you?" Fred growls, holding a finger to my face. I growl threateningly.
"Ye shouldn't hold a finger in front of a pirate's face," I growl, trying to get him to back off. I raise my hook to try to push his hand out of my face, but Fred throws my hand to my side and clocks me in the side of the snout.
"I said, who are you and what do you think you're doing kissing my Mangle?" Fred says. Wow, somebody has possessiveness issues. I scoff again in disgust.
"I be Foxy the Pirate Fox. And I wasn't kissing the lass," I say. Yet, because you threw me across the alley.
"Fred! I'm not yours," Mangle says defensively. Fred looks back at Mangle, angrily, but soon looks back at me.
"I'll say this once. Stay away from my Mangle, Fox," Fred spits, saying the word 'Fox' with disgust. Fred turns away, but stops as I speak up.
"Who said the lass was yours? She certainly made no move to stop me from kissing her, and never once mentioned a word about any Fred," I say, standing to my full height. I realized that I'm taller than Fred at my full height. Fred growls before turning around and upper cutting me straight on my bottom jaw, causing me to go flying onto the dumpster behind me.
"Why aren't you fighting back, pirate?" Fred says. I laugh lightly.
"Because I don't want to hurt your girlish face," I mutter. Fred brings his arm back and brings it foreword, only to be stopped by my left hand. "Listen, Fred. The lass isn't yours and she'll never be. She be my beautiful lass. That be her decision herself. So I suggest ye back up," I growl deeply. Fred gets a murderous look in his eye before being yanked away and spun so he's facing Mangle. A loud, metallic smack is heard as Mangle smacks Fred across the face. Fred collapses to the ground, holding his jaw and, I swear I see sparks coming from his jaw.
"Listen, Fred. I hate you, okay? I literally hate you. I'm not your Mangle. I'm dating Foxy, like it or not. So either suck it up, or go cry to yourself in a corner, because I'm not yours," Mangle says. I smile at my lass. Fred gets up and walks away.
"Are you alright, Foxy?" Mangle says, jogging up to me. Mangle looks at my jaw instantly.
"I be fine, lass," I say. Mangle looks up at me, uncertainty shown in her eye. "I promise, lass," I say. I wrap my arms around Mangle and pull her into my chest, my breathing hitching as I come into contact with her soft lips. My gears in my stomach tighten as I kiss Mangle. This moment could last a lifetime and I would be happy with it. I feel a tear forming behind my eyes before I release Mangle, looking directly into her shining, golden eyes. "I love ye, lass," I say. Mangle smiles and it looks like she's about to cry as well.
"I love you, too, Foxy," Mangle says before hugging me again.
