🍎Rivalry & Protective yet Feral Nature🍎
Hallway
Chad Charming: "Those kids are trouble."
Y/n: "Oh, shut up Chad." He said while the two princes glared at each other. The two always had an unspoken rivalry towards another wherever it was swordfighting and other princely duties yet Y/n always ended up on top of the rivalry.
Evie: "Bye, Mal."
Mal: "Bye."
Y/n: He watched as Evie left Mal's side before walking after her after he said he'd see Ben after school. "Evie. Hey, Evie wait up." He walked over towards Evie til a few birds came to him chirping rapidly in distress. "What? Okay, one moment." He said while seeing that Evie had walked off which made him sigh softly before looking at his feathered friends. "Let's go then, friends." He said while running off to the forest edge.
Ben: "See ya, Y/n and come on, Chad. Give them a chance."
Audrey: "Oh. No offense, Bennybear, but you're just too trusting. Look, I know your mom fell in love with a big nasty beast who turned out to be a prince. But with my mom, the evil fairy was just the evil fairy. That girl's mother."
Ben: "I think you're wrong about them. I'll see you later. Hey!"
Mal: "Hey."
Ben: "How was your first day?"
Mal: "Super."
Ben: "You should really think about taking this talent off the locker and into art class. I could, uh, sign you up. What do you think?"
Mal: "Way to take all the fun out of it."
Ben: "Huh."
Bathroom
Mal: "Hi! It's Jane, right? Ah, always loved that name. Jane."
Jane: "That's cool."
Mal: "Don't go! I guess I was just kind of hoping to make a friend. You probably have all the friends you need though, huh?"
Jane: "Hardly."
Mal: "Really? I mean, with your mom being fairy godmother and headmistress? I mean, not to mention your own, um... personality."
Jane: "I'd rather be pretty. You've got great hair."
Mal: "You know what? I have just the thing for that. It's right... Ah, here. "Beware, forswear, replace the old with brand new hair."
Jane: "Oh, ah, ah!"
Mal: "Wow! You almost don't notice your... Other features anymore."
Jane: "Do my nose!"
Mal: "Oh, I can't. I've been practicing, but you know, I can't do really big magic. Not like your mom with her wand. I mean, one swoosh from that thing and you could probably have whatever features you wanted."
Jane: "She doesn't use the wand anymore. She believes the real magic is in the books. And not the spell books, regular books with history and stuff."
Mal: "What a rip."
Jane: "Yeah."
Mal: "You know, she used magic on Cinderella, who wasn't even her real daughter. Doesn't she love you?"
Jane: "Well, of course she does. It's... It's just, you know, tough love. "Work on the inside, not the outside." You know, that sort of thing."
Mal: "That's the face! Yeah, and then just look as If your... your heart is about to break. "Oh, mother, I just don't understand why you can't make me beautiful, too."
Jane: "Think it would work?"
Mal: "Yeah. I mean, that's what old Cindy did, right? And your mother Bibbidi-bobbidi-booed the living daylights out of her. And, hey, If your mom does decide to, you know, break out the old wand, invite me."
Jane: "If I can convince mom, you're so there."
Mal: "Yay."
Jane: "Bye."
Mal: "Bye."
The chemistry lab
Evie: "Any chance he's in line for a throne? Anywhere in line?"
Doug: "Chad. Prince Charming, Jr. Cinderella's son. Chad inherited the charm, but not a lot of there there, know what I mean?"
Evie: "Looks like there there to me."
Doug: "Wait a second?...."
Mr. Deley: "Evie. Perhaps this is just review for you. So tell me, what is the average atomic weight of silver?"
Evie: "Atomic weight? Uh, well, not very much. I mean, It's an atom, right? Let's see. How do I find the average atomic weight of silver? That would be 106.905 times .5200, plus 108.905 times .4800, which, Mr. Deley, would give us 107.9 amu..."
Doug: "Amu"?"
Mr. Deley: "I forget. Always a mistake to underestimate..."
Evie: "A villain? Don't make it again." She said while heading back to her seat as Chad gave her a note with a charming smile then read the note that Chad wanted to meet her at the tourney bleachers.
Doug looked over at Evie before thinking of his best friend and basically cousin: Y/n Florence White. He quickly texts him about Chad and Evie not wanting to see Y/n get heartbroken or go feral.
Doug: 'Y/n, It's Doug with a Code: Chad, repeat Code Chad. He's targeting Evie.' He texted as a reply quickly came back.
Y/n: 'Got it, thanks for looking out Doug. I'm calling the others as well whistled for Augustus.'
The bleachers
Chad: "Is everybody at home as pretty as you?"
Evie: "I like to think I'm the fairest of them all. How many rooms in your castle?"
Chad: "Oh! Too many to count. You really nailed that chemistry problem today. You're gonna have all the nerds in love with you."
Evie: "I'm not that smart."
Chad: "Oh, come on."
Evie: "No, really, I'm not. But I'm... I'm really good at sewing and cooking and cleaning. You know, like your mother, Cinderella, without the ratty dress. See this? If I ask it where something is, it tells me."
Chad: "Are you kidding me?"
Evie: "No."
Chad: "Where's my cell phone?"
Evie: "It won't work for you, silly."
Chad: "No biggie. My dad will just get me a new one."
Evie: "Prince charming."
Chad: "Yeah."
Evie: "And cinderella."
Chad: "Yeah."
Evie: "Fairy godmother. Hey, I heard her wand is in some boring museum. Do they always leave it there?"
Chad: "I'd really like to talk, but... I'm just swamped. Unless..."
Evie: "Unless?"
Chad: "If you could knock all my homework out along with yours, then maybe we could get together sometime... Hang."
Evie: "Okay."
Chad: "Thanks, babe."
Evie: "Yeah. Bye."
Doug: "I couldn't help but overhear..."
Evie: "Are you stalking me?"
Doug: "Technically... yes. I, too, have a fascination with fairy godmother's wand. Which is another reason I look forward to the coronations. Perhaps we could sit next to each other and discuss its attributes."
Evie: "Are you saying they use it in the coronation?"
Doug: "Yes, and also asking you not to hurt my cousin's heart."
Evie: "What do you mean, Doug? I'd never hurt Y/n, he's been nothing but nice to me and the others." She said while Doug nodded.
Doug: "I get that but Y/n is extremely protective of those he cares for, he may look like a kingly stag in the forest but my cousin can also be a feral wolf when need be." He explained while looking aside seeing his cousins walking where Chad was going off towards. "Follow me quietly." He said as the two walked off after the other dwarfs.
The Outside Lockers
As Chad was walking off down the hall, a arm reached out and dragged Chad up against the lockers with a bang echoing against the metal.
Chad: "Ow, what the!..." He began to say til a wrist was holding him in place and the cold steel of a sword was pressed against his ribcage. "Y/n White, I see that your angry at me, what ever for?" He asked while dark blue eyes glared at him while a pure white dog growled up at him.
Y/n: "Drop the act, Charming. Don't you remember what happened the last time I found out that you harmed someone I care about?" He said as his voice was laced with venom while six shadows surrounded the princes to reveal his cousins: Howard, Greg, Theodore, Brian, Samuel and Jones. "Even Augustus can smell the foul stink of a liar on you. Easy boy, steady now."
Chad: "Oh, I'm so scared you brought your dwarf cousins and your little doggy." He said jokingly til Greg slammed his fist beside his head harshly. "Ah!" He whimpered in fear as he looked at the other prince, his family and pet.
Greg: "Watch it, pretty boy. I bet you still remember what we did to ya when you bullied Doug when we were kids." He growled deeply showing his more Grumpy nature of his father.
Y/n: "Easy, Gregory. We're just giving Chad here a warning is all." He said calmly moving back while sheathing his swordfighting team sword back onto his belt. "If I even find out your using Evie for a scheme of yours, Chad. I will make sure that you know true pain not as a prince but as a knight of Auradon I swear it, understand me?" He asked while smirking mischievously seeing Chad was shaking. "Glad we understand each other, let's go guys." He said while the seven walked off while Augustus stopped sniffing the air before quitely walking off ahead to find Doug and an unknown to him girl.
Augustus barked happily as he ran around Doug and the girl before running over to his master barking causing Y/n to look up alongside his cousins to see Evie with Doug.
Y/n: "Oh, poison apples..." He mumbled before putting a smile onto his face. "Doug, Evie how are you two doing today?" He asked as Augustus sat down at his feet panting happily.
Doug: "We're good, N/n." He said while kneeling down to pet Augustus and ruffle his ears.
Evie: "That was wicked..." She said about what she had seen then whispered softly. "And amazingly sweet..." She blushed bright red til she looked down seeing the Swiss Shepard dog at her feet whining for attention. "Aw, what a handsome boy are you. What's your name?" She asked while looking at the dog's red leather collar seeing a blue tag written in gold of the name; Augustus. "Augustus, that's a handsome name for a handsome dog." She said while scratching his ears.
