One week later.

"This tastes like shit!"

"Jessica Noelle! Mom, what have you been teaching my daughter?"

"Isaiah, I have not taught her anything! But she's right about the taste. Everything tastes like spoiled meat."

"Shit!" Jessie makes a face.

"Jessica, we do not say words like that. That is very very bad."

"Bad, Daddy?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Oh noooo!"

"Just don't say it again. You're a princess and princesses do not use those words, right?"

"Wight!"

"Thank you." Isaiah kisses her.

Jessica smiles at the sweet moment as Hunter walks in and shouts, "BULLSHIT!"

"That one wasn't me!" Jessica lifts her hands.

Later that evening.

Jessica received a phone call from the hospital.

"Hello? This is Mrs. Huston."

"Hello, Mrs. Huston. I am just calling about the release of your husband."

"The release?" Jessica smiles.

"Yes ma'am. He's free to go tomorrow morning. I'll be sending him home with special care instructions."

"Oh wow!  Okay.."

"Of course since your husband suffered a mild heart attack-"

"Excuse me, what?"

"A mild heart attack. Surely you were informed."

"I certainly was not!"

"I apologize, ma'am. He's doing okay. We just have to keep an eye on his heart."

Jessica sighed and ran her hand through her hair.  She then listened to the care instructions.

"Alright. Well I'll be there early tomorrow to pick him up.  Thank you."

Jessica hung up and sat down. "Oh Daniel.." She sighed.

The next morning.

"Willow and Emerson, come sit with mommy."

"What's wrong? Is it Daddy?" Willow asks.  She was so worried for her father.

"Yes but it's nothing bad!"

"Good!"

"So.. I'm going to leave right now to go get daddy and bring him home.."

"What!" Both shout.

"No more fighting?" Emerson asks.

"No one is perfect, and daddy and I will get into little.. discussions here and there. But I love him and he loves me, and we are going to work on our marriage. But the important thing is, is that Daddy is doing better. He still has a little ways to go, but he's getting there! And we're gonna help him get there, right?"

"Yes momma." Willow says.

"I'll help daddy!" Emerson smiles.

"You two are such great kiddos.  I love my little babies.. who aren't so little anymore." Jessica pouts.

"No! We're big kids, momma!" Willow says.

"I know!"

"We're Seven! That's a lot of fingers!"

"I know!" Jessica pouts. "But you'll always be my precious babies.

"But momma, I'm big!"

"I know." Jessica giggles. "Even the older kids are my babies. If you came out of me, you're my baby for life."

"But the triplets came out of you and you're not their mommy. You're OURS!" Emerson says.

"They're my grand babies. My babies and grand babies are my world."

"You're a sweet girl, momma."

"Aw Emmy, thank you!"

"You're welcome. Oh and momma, you've gotta tell Lolo that she's the babiest of the kids cause she doesn't think she is."

"We're the same age!" Willow shouts.

"My birthday is a day before yours because I came out when momma asked me to."

"Well I wouldn't say the first time I asked you to, but.." Jessica chuckles.

"Willow came out last and she's a BABY!"

"Hey, hey, hey. Leave her alone. Someone always has to be the oldest, and someone always has to be the youngest. And look, it turned out perfect. Daddy and I started our family with a beautiful baby girl, and ended it with a beautiful baby girl."

"Awww. That's so sweet!" Willow smiles.

"Yep! So you see how great it all worked out?"

"Yes, momma. Perfect!" Willow sits on her mother's lap and wraps her arms around her.

"Aww.  You're so precious.  I'm glad with ended it with a sweet girl.. I love my Gabby, but she is not a sweet girl!" Jessica says making the twins laugh.

Jessica's stomach was in knots. She's nervous to see Danny. How would he look? How weak would he be? Could she control herself and not slap him across the face?

Jessica called Danny's nurse and told her she was on the way. When she pulled up in the front Danny sat there in a wheelchair beside his nurse.

"Oh my gosh." Is all that escaped Jessica's lips.

Danny looked smaller. His eyes were dark, and he seemed much weaker than before. All of that and Danny still smiled big when he spotted his beautiful wife.

Jessica immediately unbuckled herself and got out of the car.

"Danny!" She ran to him.

Jessica ran to him and stopped him when he tried standing.

"No, no, no, you be careful. You stay put."

Jessica places her hands on him and takes a deep breath. "Wow.."

Danny smiles. "Hey pretty lady."

Jessica chuckles. "Hello you asshole."

"I deserved that one."

"Yes you did." Jessica giggles. "I love you. I love you so so much."

"I love you t-" Danny is interrupted by Jessica's lips crashing into his.

Jessica knew she missed Danny, but she didn't realize how much she missed him until he was there in her arms.

Jessica pulled away breathlessly as tears ran down her face. "I've missed you so much."

"I missed you too. Jessie.. I'm so sorry." Danny says as he too cries.

"Honey, it's okay. It's okay. Oh God, I love you! I thought I was going to lose you!"

"I thought I was going to lose you too.. I was so stupid."

"No, I mean-"

"I know what you mean.  Jessica, you're incredible.  I love you and only you.  I was so so stupid and I'll never forgive myself for what I've done."

"I don't want to talk about this right now."

"Okay.. just know I am."

Jessica nods her head and takes his hand. "I know, Danny."

With his free hand Danny pokes her belly and smiles.

Jessica laughs. "What was that for?"

"I've missed messing with you.  Let's go home and-"

"Daniel!" Jessica's eyes widen.

"Not that!" Danny laughs weakly. "I say we're both still too weak for that.  I just wanna see the kids .. apologize.  Get yelled at, and then go upstairs and just hold you.  I wanna squeeze my babydoll."

Jessica laughs. "Let's go."

Jessica drove up to the house and looked at Danny as he just stared straight ahead.

"You okay?"

Danny nods. "Yeah.  This is the best I've felt in a long time."

Jessica smiles and kisses his cheek before getting out to help him.

The two made it up to the front porch. Before opening the door Jessica turned to him and smirked. "You know it's getting late and the cab left already.. Do you wanna stay the night?"

"Huh? Oh!" Danny chuckled. It was the exact same thing she said to him years and years ago the first time he spent the night with her in that exact home.

"Well I'd love to."

Jessica giggles and wraps her arms around him before they share a passionate kiss.

Suddenly they hear noise inside.

"YOU GUYS! DADDY'S HERE!" Willow says in her adorable voice. They then heard the rest of the kids.

Jessica giggled and pull her lips away from his.
"You don't mind that I've got a boat load of kids in there who are also spending the night, do you?"

Danny chuckles and nods. "No, I don't mind one bit."

Jessica smiles and pecks his lips.

The door then opens and Willow practically tackles her daddy.  Emerson and all of the grandchildren follow her lead.

Jessica smiles with tears slowly rolling down her face. This is it. This was her life. It's so much more than she could ever dream of.

Jessica knew inviting Danny to stay the night around thirty one years ago was the greatest decision she's ever made.

They have their problems just like everyone else.
  But they love each other, there's no doubting that.

"Welcome home, Daddy." Jessica says with a warm beautiful smile.

I've decided that I will plan for this to be the last book, but if I feel there's more story to tell then I'll add a fourth.
Even if no one reads it.

I love this family so much.  I started this story when I was 19 and I'm now 26😬

It's been a long journey, but I've had a blast!  And I'm not finished yet😉
