I walked onto the Bounty and walked into the living room to smell...cake?

"NU. NU TOUCH MEH CAKE!" I hear Colty yell. I pop my head into the doorway of the kitchen to find Colty with a big wooden spoon and facing it towards Alex and Cole.

She could probably kill someone with it too...

I join everyone else and hear a whack!

"I SAID NU TOUCH MEH CAKE!"

"Cake is to be shared!"

Whack!

"Ow!"

Then Alex stole the cake while Cole got whacked with Colty's menacing spoon.

Colty gasped "Le gasp! You dare take my cake?!" Colty tackled Alex and eventually winning. "I give piece of cake, yes. Now? Nu."

Note to self: Never touch Colty's cake. You might end up dead.

I slipped away from the group and went to see Sensei. I knocked on his door and heard a muffled "Come in."

I entered his room. "Sensei, why'd you give me this ancient necklace." He was sitting on a mat and looked like he was gonna start something. "I believe you can handle it. You must trust in your strength just as I trust yours."

That sounded pretty reasonable but still, I was kinda clueless on the subject.

"What did you mean by it not being awake? How could this-" I gestured to the necklace on my chest. "-be awake."

"It holds power, and it hasn't been invoked in centuries." He paused. "Why do you ask?"
"Oh, I was just curious that's all," I started walking towards the door. "Anyways, I have to clean up a mess you know! The guys and their, um, stuff!" I then slipped out of the room, closing the door in the process.

I looked down at the necklace.
