Gin Yoko Salvador

I couldn't keep myself from staring at my phone. Dox texted me a message just a few minutes ago and I've been fucking grinning like an idiot for so long.

I opened the message again and bit my lips to stop a joyous laugh that's threatening to erupt from my chest. I'm fucking losing it. I'm going crazy because of him.

Tangina. Ang saya-saya ko. He sent me a heart emoticon! He sent me a heart! That means he loves me! Of course he does but damn. I'm losing my mind here. He sent me a heart!

Tila kumukulo ang dugo ko sa sigla at tuwa dahil sa simple niyang reply. Well, I told him to take care and he gave me a heart. Shit. Shit. Should I reply with a heart too?

For another minute, I stared at the little heart emoticon and adjusted the font size to see it clearly.

Fuck. This is Dox's heart and it's mine!

I rubbed the heart on the screen with my thumb and covered my face. Tangina. Tangina! Gusto ko nang bumalik sa kama ko at yakapin siya. Yung init niya, yung bango niya, yung mga halik niya—binabaliw ako ni Dox kahit malayo siya sa akin. Hindi na ako makapaghintay na tumakbo papunta sa kanya at lunurin siya ng mga halik.

Nasuntok ko ang tuhod ko para pakalmahin ang sarili. Tumatalon-talon na ang puso ko, baka mapatalon na rin ako sa tuwa nito. Humigpit ang kapit ko sa phone at nanginginig na nagsimulang tumipa ng reply.

Nakangisi kong pinindot ang send at muntik nang mapatayo at sumuntok sa ere.

Someone cleared his throat so I forced myself to look at the people in the meeting. There were a few employees including Esmeralda and our boss, Pacé.

I caught the weirdo staring at me so I instantly grimaced and held my phone so hard.

"How's the project in Pasig? Any progress?" baling ni Pacé kina Esme at nakinig na lamang ako bago pasimpleng tumingin sa phone.

"We're already finding good engineers and architects." Iyon ang sagot ni Esme. "Everything's under control, Boss."

Kita ko ang paghinga nila nang maluwag nang nawala na ang kaseryosohan sa tono ni Pacé. Tapos na ang boss part nito at nanghihingi na ng rekomendasyon patungkol sa honeymoon destination. It's nothing new though so I just shrugged my shoulders and listened.

Ano namang alam ko sa honeymoon venues? Anywhere with my babe is a honeymoon suite to me.

Napansin kong umilaw ang aking phone kaya natuon ang buo kong atensyon doon. Halos mahulog pa ito sa kamay ko nang malakas ko itong na-swipe para ma-unlock.

Dox's message immediately caught my eyes.

Hindi ko na ulit sila pinansin at nag-reply ako kay Dox.

He replied immediately so I chuckled.

And here comes another immediate reply.

Ang tipid-tipid nito magsalita kapag sa message pero ang ingay kapag magkasama kami. He can moan loud too. I like it. In fact, I love it so much that I wanted to hear him moan right now.

Ilang minuto ang lumipas bago siya nag-reply ulit. Akala ko hindi siya mag-se-send pero nagulat na lang nang mabungaran ang pinadala niyang photo.

When I viewed it, my eyes went wide.

We gasped for air as I lazily stared at his red face. I could watch him all day.

Iba-ibang reaksyon ang nakita ko sa mga mukha nila nang sinabi ko iyon.

Pacé nodded smugly. Esmeralda danced. Kadita hugged Pyro and they both squealed. Helios dropped his phone. Harith splashed juice all over his shirt. Aurora's ice cream smeared on her eye. Odette laughed. Gord immediately asked me a question.

"End of the world na ba?"

"Dox Kiel is my world."

Nanlaki ang mga mata ng iba habang natutop naman ng iba ang kanilang mga bibig, maliban kina Pacé, Esme, at Kadi. Tinitigan ko silang lahat nang maigi at napailing. Minsan-minsan na lang kaming magkakasama lahat dahil sa trabaho pero hiniling ko talagang magkita kami ngayon para sabihin ito.

"He's pregnant."

Gord cursed. Odette stood up. Aurora dropped her ice cream. Harith splashed juice on his shirt again. Helios dropped his jaw. Kadita and Pyro gulped. Esmeralda danced while Pacé shook his head and left.

My eyes flashed but I hid it and just focused on the others.

I will deal with that fucker later.

"So?" I asked them. "What can you say?"

"You're fucking crazy," sabi ni Gord habang lukot na lukot ang mukha. "You're gay and we've seen each other naked since we're kids?!"

"I am insulted, Gordy," maarteng sabi ni Pyro gamit ang binabae nitong boses. "Your revolting tone just made me wanna punch you."

"What? I'm just concerned if he's been ogling me!" ani Gord habang napapailing at tinaasan ako ng kilay. "Oh ano?"

Nagkibit-balikat ako.

"I want a baby, too," Odette murmured but we heard it clearly. Natuon sa kanya ang pansin naming lahat pero kimi itong ngumiti. "I mean, congratulations, Giyo! I never thought you'll be in love!"

I grinned and I saw them blinked a few times.

"Yeah, I've never thought I could feel love and be loved. I never thought I could even love Dox greater than anything."

"Congratulations, Giyo." Iyon naman ang sabi ng iba pa habang nakangiti. Walang panghuhusga sa mga mata nila kaya nakahinga ako nang maluwag.

Sinabi ko na kay Dox ang tungkol dito at nakiusap ako na ako na muna ang magbabalita sa mga kaibigan namin. I've never thought negatively about their attitudes but this situation isn't normal. Hindi ko alam kung anong opinyon nila sa ganitong relasyon, lalo na at sa napakabihirang male preganancy. I really want to make Dox feel comfortable with me in front of others, especially those important to us. I want him to feel confident.

God knows how much I wanted to tell the world how much beautiful and how much amazing my babe is.

"Kelan ang kasal?" pagbibiro ni Helios kaya napakibit-balikat ako.

"Kahit kelan basta si Dox ang pakakasalan ko." They openly gawked at me so I furrowed my brows. "What?"

A smile broke out of my face after remembering Dox asking me for vanilla ice cream.

Umiling-iling sila hanggang sa si Harith na ang nagsalita, tila nahihiya pa sa pamumula ng mukha nito.

"Y-You're really in love, K-Kuya. W-We never saw you smile like that b-before."

Napangisi na ako nang malaki sa kanila at napakamot sa batok.

"Nakakahawa ang future asawa ko eh."

Isang halakhak ang pinakawalan ng loko-loko kong "boss" bago sumampa sa railing ng rooftop at balewalang kumuha ng isang stick ng sigarilyo mula sa bulsa nito. Swabe siyang sumindi roon na para bang sanay na sanay na at humithit nang iilang beses habang nakatitig sa malayo.

"I don't need the fucking details," I interrupted him while scowling. He chuckled and shrugged his shoulders.

"And so starting that day, I would always use Pacé's body just to save Dox from his own madness. I became his knight-in-shining armor. I distracted him from his fears. "You sound like you're giving him to me," I said with a frown. "He was never yours to begin with."

"But his body was mine." Sumama ang tingin ko rito pero tumawa na naman siya nang malakas. "Promise me you'll make him happy, Salvador."

May pagbabanta roon kaya suminghal ako.

"I don't need to fucking promise anything to a crazy shit like you."

"Careful, there, man. Your lover is crazier than me."

"I know." Tila natigilan ito sa sinabi ko pero nanatili lamang akong seryoso. "I found out he's a serial killer. He killed people to match my death count and that he killed my father. Doesn't matter to me. It's all in the past now. I'll just have to wish he'll forgive me for killing his Dad and the hundred girls you put on my hit list. Thought I wouldn't find out you made me kill those obsessed with him, huh?"

Nginisihan ko ito.

He gaped at me for a while and slowly grinned.

"Fuck. You are whipped. How'd you know all of that? Hindi ba si Pacé ang pinakamakapangyarihan sa Lambarde?"

I just shook my head.

"I'm Pacé's half-brother. I have my ways and I'd do anything for Dox."

Humalakhak ulit siya at saka tumingin muli sa malayo habang umiiling. I thought I saw some tears but maybe it was just my imagination.

"Want to smoke?"

"No."

"Sana all."

Tiningnan ko ito nang maigi at pinigilang tawanan ang pananagalog nito.

Tumalikod na ako rito at sinabing, "Huwag kang tatalon diyan. Malalagot ako kay Dox."

"Thanks, man."

Naglakad na ako papalayo at saka sumakay sa elevator. Pinindot ko ang buton pababa at napaisip sa lahat nang narinig ko at ang mga nasabi ko dun sa baliw na yun.

I groaned at remembering how he bragged he kissed Dox Kiel for years.

After a few seconds, the doors opened and I saw my babe scowling at me.

He stepped inside the elevator and he pushed a button and the doors closed again. He then pushed a button to stop the elevator.
