(The next morning at Alex & Mike Accounting Services)

Michael: hey Alex, do you have the balance sheets from eBay's last fiscal year?

Alex didn't hear Michael, he was thinking about his encounter with his high school bully turned WWE Superstar last night.

Michael: Alex!

Alex: huh?

Michael: do you have eBay's balance sheets?

Alex: yeah here

Michael: you seem out of thought man

Alex: just can't get over what happened last night

Michael: it's Lexi, isn't it?

Alex: you know me too well, man

Michael: duh, we went to high school together

Alex: four years of constant pranks from that little runt

Michael: you're still holding your grudge?

Alex: Mike, if I ever forgave her; we won't have any of this; especially now that we're in the big five of accounting firms

Michael: you still think she still the same girl 10 years ago?

Alex: look how she acts on TV; the same high school attitude

Michael: dude, that is just her character on-screen; Lexi is different behind the scenes

Alex: oh, how so?

He snickered.

Michael: she's a total sweetheart to her fans

Alex: where's your evidence?

Michael: here I'll look it up

Michael went on Instagram and saw a bunch of photos of Lexi from some Alexa Bliss fan accounts showing the Goddess' sweet side to her fans.

Alex: so what, she took a bunch of photos with random people

Michael: okay, how about these ones?

Mike showed Alex pictures of Lexi with her zoo of pets including her pig Larry Steve.

Seeing Lexi with her pets made Alex have a pensive look on his face.

Alex: I have to admit, her pet pig looks cute

Michael: I want to say this to you Alex; not as your business partner, but as your friend. The past is the past, move on and look to the future. You are an adult, no longer a high school student

Alex listened to what his friend said and nodded.

Alex: you're right Mike, what I did last night was a bit too far

Michael: you made her cry, man

Alex sighed.

Alex: when I went home, I regretted of what I said

Michael: sure Lexi may have bullied you for your entire high school life, but she has matured now

Alex: I agree, Mike

Michael: come on, let's finish this, so we can watch some more WWE

The two went back to work.

(10 minutes later)

After Alex and Mike finished working, they went to watch some episodes of Raw until Kaila came in with two envelopes.

Kaila: sirs, you have mail

Michael: thanks Kaila

The two opened the envelope and saw that it was an invitation to their high school reunion.

Michael: oh sweet, our 10 year high school reunion!

Alex: it's been years since I saw Troy, Carlo, Arnaldo, Kairi, Emma and Lily; I wonder what those guys are doing now

Michael: we'll find out tomorrow

Alex: tomorrow?

Michael: yup

Michael pointed at the date on the invitation and said that the reunion is tomorrow night at the Hilliard Davidson High School gym.

Alex: I can't wait to see the look on those guys' faces on how successful we became

Michael: dude, what if Lexi shows up?

Alex: like I said, I want to apologize to her

Michael nodded and agreed with his friend.

(The next night)

Alex was wearing the accounting firm uniform which was just a polo shirt along with a blazer with the pin that was the firm's logo, an A and M overlapping each other. He also wore a black tie to match the style. His pants were a regular pair of Levi's jeans.

Then he heard a knock on the door; he opened it and it was Michael.

Michael: you ready man?

Alex: let's go!

Alex locked his house and the two went in Mike's car and drove to the venue.

(20 minutes later)

They arrived at their old high school, Hilliard Davidson High. The main building had a giant banner that read, "Welcome Back HDHS Class of 2009!"

Alex: I feel so different being back here

Michael: we're old, dude

The two chuckled and exited their car. They went in and got their name tags. Alex and Mike met with their old teachers. Then a familiar voice called out to Alex.

???: Alexander Auditore

Alex smiled and instantly recognized the voice; he turned around and saw his old high school Troy, who has become a full time police officer as he was wearing his uniform.

Alex: Troy

Troy: ah, it's Captain Troy Mendez to you

Alex: oh man, look at you; you've been working out

Troy: gotta keep in shape if I want to tackle those criminals

Alex: criminals have to be afraid when they see you

Troy: yup; oh, everyone else is over there at the table

Alex: let's go!

Troy and Alex walked to the table where they reunited their group. Lily, Emma and Kairi have become full time nurses after passing the exam, Arnaldo is now wearing glasses and is a teacher for elementary students and Carlo has pursued a career as a video game designer. The group saw Troy with Alex and they were ecstatic.

Arnaldo: uh oh, there he is!

He bro hugged Alex.

Emma: Mr. CPA himself

She hugged him.

Carlo: dude, we saw the news; you and Mike really achieved a high recognition

Lily: joining the likes of Ernst & Young and KPMG

Alex: thanks guys

Troy: shall we show him, Emma?

Alex: show me what?

Troy and Emma raised their left hand which had a ring on their fingers. Alex's eyes grew wide.

Alex: you two tied the knot?!

Troy: yup, after my graduation ceremony

Emma: and after my graduation ceremony

Alex: I'm so happy for you two

Then Mike came over and joined them. A minute later, Lexi came in, the group saw her.

Troy: here comes trouble

Arnaldo: Alex, she's here

Alex turned around and saw Lexi wearing a pretty sparkling dress.

Alex was a bit mesmerized of the Goddess' beauty.

Lily: your high school bully is here, Alex

Kairi: now she's a WWE Superstar

Carlo: hey Alex, are you holding a grudge on that runt?

Alex was about to reply, but Mike put a hand on his shoulder, mentally reminding him of what he said yesterday at the office. Alex nodded.

Alex: holding a 10 year grudge is unhealthy for me emotionally. Mike taught me a lesson to let go of the past and move on to the future

Arnaldo: dude, that's powerful

Alex: and I did something to her that I really regretted

Kairi: what did you do?

Alex: when me, Mike and some members of our firm went to the bar to celebrate our achievement, I saw Lexi and I still had the anger inside of me

Carlo: and then?

Alex: we saw each other and I took out my past anger on her and it made her cry

Troy: well all of us here do hate her, but that was the most immature thing you have ever done

Arnaldo: I see some photos of her meet and greets; she is very sweet to her fan base

Kairi: well sure she acts like she was in high school on TV, but it's just her character

Alex: that's why I'm gonna apologize to her

Emma: there you go, Al

Alex then turned around and saw Lexi getting acquainted with some of her old cheerleading squad.

Alex: I'll talk to her when she's alone

Mike: a good idea, man

Alex, Mike and the group continued to talk about their successful careers.

Alex: after all these years, you three are still together

Emma: we're like sisters

Lily: we're best friends back in high school

Kairi: and now we're nurses together

Mike: an unbreakable bond between you three

As they were talking, Alex saw Lexi going out to get some fresh air on her own.

Troy: now's your chance, boy

Alex: right

Mike: go to her

Alex got up and followed Lexi outside.

(Outside the school gym)

Alex: Lexi?

Tears began to fall from Lexi's eyes as she heard Alex's voice. She turned around and faced the Certified Public Accountant. Her face expression was both angry and sad.

As the two met eyes, Alex felt a sense of guilt in his body.

Lexi: what do you want, Alexander?

Alex: Lexi, can we talk please, just the two of us?

Lexi was shocked of Alex's calm demeanor; she expected the guy who yelled at her at the bar, but it was a different person.

Lexi: fine, let's find a place to sit

The two walked around the campus and they found a bench for them to sit and talk.

Lexi: so, what do you need to tell me about?

Alex: I just want to apologize for what I did at the bar; it was really immature of me

Lexi: Alexander, what you said to me really hurt me; After we graduated from high school and we went to different colleges, I felt bad for all the things I did to you

Alex: and only now at that time you felt guilty

Lexi: I really wanted to say sorry to you after graduation, but you were already gone

Alex: okay then; I want to ask you something, Lexi Kaufman

Lexi: yes Alex?

Alex: why?

Lexi: why what?

Alex: why did you made me your target victim for four years?

Lexi was surprised and she looked down as she was at a loss of words.

Alex: Lexi, tell me why have you have been bullying and picking on me for four years?

Lexi: it's because...

Alex: because what?!

Lexi: it's because I like you!

Alex: what?

Lexi: I had a crush on you!

Alex: what?!

Alex had a shocked expression on his face.
