Today was the day, and Alex couldn't get more excited, it was the day he will be proposing to his lovely girlfriend for almost a year in one of the most unique ways. It was his day off, but Alex told Lexi that he had work today in which the Goddess said okay, but in reality, he was preparing for the proposal.

Alex: I think it's just half day, I'll be home like 12

Lexi: okay babe

Alex: and I'll be taking you out for lunch

Lexi smiled and embraced her man. Alex tried to let go, but his girlfriend kept her grip.

Lexi: let's stay like this for a while

Alex: okay

The couple stayed in the position while Alex gently swayed them side to side.

(An hour later)

Alex was at the accounting conference room with Julio, Mike and Kaila.

Alex: how's the sign looking?

Julio: it's looking good, just adding some color

Mike: it's your day off, but you told Lexi you had work

Alex: I had to think of something, so she won't get suspicious

Mike: genius man

Alex: come on, let's tie this to the helicopter

The accountants rode an elevator to the roof where the helipad was; there also was their company helicopter.

Mike: I think it will be the first for us to use this thing

The group tied and spread the sign to the helicopter's left landing skid, so when the chopper is in midair, Lexi can read the sign clearly.

Alex: the only way to find out if it's tied down well is to fly the copter

Mike: well dude, good thing one of our employees is a licensed pilot

Alex: good call him up

Mike called up James, one of the employees in the accounting firm who was a licensed pilot.

James: what you need, boss?

Alex: time to give the helicopter a test run

James: I see, is this for your proposal?

Alex: yes, I want to see what the sign looks like; it's tied on the landing skids

James: okay, let's go flying

Mike: get to the chopper

Julio: the hell is with the accent?

Mike: it's my Arnold Schwarzenegger impression

Alex: well you need to work on it

Mike: whatever man

Alex: I'll stay here and check if the sign is readable

James start up the helicopter and the group got in. Alex got a walkie talkie to communicate with the group in the chopper. Then the helicopter lifted off ground as the sign started to unroll.

Alex: go higher

James steadied as he lifted the chopper.

Alex: okay, go ahead and make a turn around the city until I get a clear vision of the sign

James: copy that

The helicopter flew around the city for a while as the sign waved from the landing skid. Alex watched the chopper flew until it got into a position where the sign was visible to read from where he was standing.

Alex: James, hold it there; I can see and read the sign from here

James: okay, our surroundings are the firm on our left and the sign is on the left landing skid; on our right is a McDonald's.

Alex: the height is perfect, I can read the sign perfectly, and I don't see any trouble for us or the public when the chopper is midair. Okay James, bring it in

James: copy that

James flew the helicopter back to the firm, and landed gently on the pad. The group got out.

Alex: perfect visual of the sign

Mike: that was a great view up there

Alex: James, how much fuel does the chopper have left?

James: there will be plenty of that when you get down on your knee

Alex: perfect

Kaila: so how will you do this?

Alex: okay, in an hour I'm going to take Lexi to lunch; then I'm gonna drive her to the park and Disneyland. Then when it's already 5, I'm gonna drive her here and that's when she'll see the sign and I get down on my knee

Julio: that's perfect, but how do we know when we will take the helicopter into the air?

Alex: I'll text you guys when me and Lexi were about to leave Disneyland; that's the signal

James: got it boss

Alex: go ahead and ride around the city until I text you guys saying that Lexi and I are on the roof

Mike: okay, sounds good

Alex looked at his watch to see it was already 10:45.

Alex: well I'm gonna go take my Goddess to lunch

Mike: have fun, man

Kaila: all of us will be here at 3

Alex: good, tell the rest of the employees that the firm is closed for today

Mike: I'll do that

Alex: okay, see you guys later

The group went down and Alex drove home to pick up Lexi from their house, so they can go to lunch. He called her.

Lexi: baby?

Alex; hey babe, get ready, we're going out for lunch

Lexi: okay, I'm already prepared

Alex: okay, wait outside

Lexi: alright, I love you

Alex: love you too, baby Goddess

After 15 minutes, he drove up to their house and saw Lexi standing outside the front door. The Goddess smiled as she saw her boyfriend's car; she got in and peppered him with kisses. Alex checked out what his girlfriend was wearing, and it made him sweat.

Alex: those leather leggings again

Lexi: ooh, I know you were gonna melt when I wear this

Alex: and that cute little pink bow in your hair

Lexi: how cute?

Alex: cute as you

Lexi: so corny

She cuddled to him while planting small kisses.

Lexi: so where are we going?

Alex: wait, I'm gonna get something first, wait here

Lexi: take your time, baby

He got out of the car and went in the house. The accountant went up to their room and grab the engagement ring from his dresser; he put it in his pocket and went back outside to his car.

Alex: to answer your question, this will be a big and fun date

Lexi: ooh, I can't wait

Alex: to start of, let's eat first

Lexi: yes please!

Alex: let's go

The couple drove off to the city to find a good restaurant to eat. While Alex drove, he looked at his watch to see that he has 5 hours left to propose. Lexi didn't notice because she was too busy giving her loving boyfriend small and gentle kisses to his cheek. Alex even sneaked in some small kisses to her head as well while his arm wrapped around her body.

After a good look, they found a restaurant that serves Asian and American cuisine.

Alex: this looks delicious

Lexi: I agree

Alex: feels like I'm home

Lexi: come on baby, I'm hungry

Alex: as you wish, my Goddess

The couple went inside the restaurant hand in hand. The restaurant was a buffet style, so the options are endless. The couple got their food and sat down at a table for two. While Alex ate, Lexi couldn't help but stare at her man; how sweet he was to her, how much he puts her first than anyone, how he is a parent to the zoo and how much he really loves her. Alex: babe

Lexi: how did I deserve someone so sweet like you in my life?

Alex: because you deserve it

He kissed her hand. They ate for a good hour while they laughed and told some old stories from their high school days. After that, they finished and Alex paid their meal.

Lexi: so what's next?

Alex looked at his watch and the time read 2:00 p.m.

Alex: let's go back to your favorite place

Lexi's eyes widen and she hugged Alex tight while her legs wrapped around his waist.

Lexi: good thing you brought that up, there's something there I wanted

Alex: whatever it is, let's go see it

The couple went back into Alex's Challenger and drove to Disneyland.

(30 minutes later)

They arrived at the theme park and the Goddess was bouncing in her seat.

Alex: you're excited

Lexi: I hope they still got it

Alex: what is it?

Lexi: you'll find out, let's go!

The couple exited the car, and Lexi dragged him by the arm. The couple walked around the park to see what Lexi was looking for. It took them a few minutes due to the park being big and crowded.

Alex: you know this place better than me

Lexi: I've been coming here with my parents since I was little

Alex: so what's the thing you were looking for?

Lexi: over there!

She pointed at a souvenir stand selling authentic Disney memorabilia.

Lexi: this is what I wanted

She took Alex to the stand to see that they're selling the rose display as seen in the movie, Beauty and the Beast.

Alex: is that?

Lexi: it's real

Alex: that's the one thing you wanted?

Lexi: yes!

Alex: well alright, let's get it, but which color?

Lexi: you know I love pink

Alex: the pink one it is

The accountant bought the rose display for Lexi; the Goddess was happy to get it.

Lexi: you're so sweet

Alex: as I said, you deserve it

The couple stayed and walked around Disneyland for a good 2 hours. They took stolen shots of each other from their phones. The highlight was of them kissing in front of the Disney castle.

As they were leaving the park, Alex saw that his watch showed that it was 4:30 p.m. He then sent texted Mike that they are on their way to the firm.

Alex: me and Lexi are going to the firm

Mike: got it, James and the group are preparing the chopper and the sign

Alex: good, James knows where to hover

Mike: we'll see you two in a few

Alex: let's go babe

Lexi: where to?

Alex: to the firm; the roof provides a great view of the city and the scenery

Lexi: okay!

The couple went back to the car while Lexi held the rose glass dome. As Alex drove to the firm, he saw the helicopter was in midair circling around the city. This gave him time.

Alex: you know babe, our roof has a helipad

Lexi: you guys have a helicopter?

Alex: yeah, but we never took it out; only for special assignments

Lexi: you really worked hard

Alex: I know

The firm president parked in front of the building and the couple got out.

Alex: let's go?

Lexi: yes!

The couple went inside the building and took the elevator to the roof. As they reached the roof, Lexi had her breath taken away as she was at awe of the view.

Lexi: this is wonderful

Alex: it is

He saw his watch reading 5:00; he texted Mike.

Alex: get into position

Mike: on it

Then the couple heard the helicopter flying in.

Lexi: that's your helicopter?

Alex: that's the one

Lexi watched as the helicopter got into position. With her back towards him, Alex took the opportunity to get the ring out of his pocket and went down to one knee. He saw the sign rolled out from the landing skid.

Lexi: there's a sign babe

Alex: what does it say?

Lexi: "will you marry me?"

Alex: turn around

The Goddess turned to see the Certified Public Accountant down on one knee while he opened the box to reveal the ring. Lexi started to cry happy tears with her hands over her mouth.

Alex: Lexi Kaufman, from our high school days we couldn't stand each other; now we are inseparable. The day we became boyfriend and girlfriend changed our lives forever and the day I moved in with you made it better...

She was crying as Alex was starting to shed tears as well.

Alex: you made me happy and I said that you deserve the world and I meant every single word; all of it came from my heart. You deserve the world and you'll deserve me for the rest of your life. Lexi, will you marry me?

Lexi: yes!

Lexi nodded as tears continued to fall from her eyes. Alex slid in the ring and the couple embraced and kissed.

Then Alex called the chopper.

Alex: alright everyone, bring the chopper in; she said yes!

Mike and the group were ecstatic as James landed the chopper on the helipad. The accountant group hugged the engaged couple.

Mike: congratulations dude!

Julio: way to go, boss

Kaila: I'm so happy for you two!

James: congrats sir

Alex: thanks guys

Lexi: you guys planned this?

Alex: from the beginning babe

Mike: your man came up with this unique proposal

Alex: well thanks for helping guys

Julio: no problem

Mike: we'll leave you two alone now

The group left, leaving Alex and Lexi to themselves.

Lexi: I'm officially engaged

Alex: and soon to be my wife

Lexi: thank you so much, baby

She kissed him on the lips.

Alex: ready to go home?

Lexi: yes

The couple rode the elevator down to the ground floor. Then they got in their car and drove for home. During the ride, Lexi got her phone out to snap a picture of her wearing the ring. She then posted on Instagram.

The couple pulled up at their house and got out of the car. They got in and a make out session was in full effect.
