Avneil and Ashish were standing outside the Mehta Mansion now, while the rest were inside. They were waiting for a signal from Neela, after whose entry they would get in.

Avni was sticking to Neil, as the sight of this house and yesterday's incidents, brought her past back and she was very vulnerable now.

Neil, please mujhe  nahi aana. Hum chalte hai ab. Bahut dar lag raha hai .This was what she was saying for the past fifteen minutes. She was scared to the extent that she didn't want her revenge now.

Ashish was looking at her helplessly, if he came forward to console her, she gets the more scared and would ask,
Agar aap phir se mujhe akela chod diya tho?

Hearing this was heart wrenching for him. She was not even allowing him near her. For him Neil's presence there was a blessing, as he was proving himself to be very helpful for him, as he was handling his hyper daughter without any complaints. He was yet unaware of their relationship, he was thinking that he was just doing his duty, and also by seeing how she was trusting Neil, more than him, made him think that maybe he's the one for her.

Neil, please Neil hum chali jaathi hai yahan se. Please.

Avni look here, into my eyes, Avni! Dekho Avni, is baar tum akeli nahi ho, hum sab hai yahan. Tum daro math. Sab theek hojayenga. Dekho ab hume chalna bhi chahiye. Dad ka call aya hain. Come let's get in.

Avni was sticking to Neil now, as she was really very much scared. She didn't want to get inside at all. But if they would delay the arrest any more, then maybe Avni would be all the more scared. So Neil clutched her tightly, holding her shoulders and went inside.

Inside the house,

The Khanna's were all settled on the couch, Bebe was also present there. They were having a chat about the marriage that was soon going to happen. Dayawanti was trying her level best to get Bebe impressed. Riya was in a very heavy lehenga and she was also behaving like the typical sanskari ladki.

Neil nahi aya Shweta ji? Dayawanti asked not seeing Neil enter the house. She got scared that if Neil didn't make an entry today, then maybe his Bebe would break the alliance.

Kal se ghar nahi Aaya. Ananya ke saath apne condo mein honga shayad.

Kya hua tha kal ki woh Ananya ke sath condo mein gaya. Us ladki ne kahi kuch boli toh nahi? Bebe asked throwing a disliking look towards Riya.

Prakash explained what happened yesterday to Bebe and the Mehta's were looking at her waiting for her reaction.

Kya samajhke rakha hai tune meri bachhi ko? Naukraani nahi hai woh teri. Aur storeroom kyu bheja tumne usse? Uska kya haal hua honga ab, pata nahi? Prakash Tu Neil ko call kar mujhe milna hai usse abhi.

Neela entered the house in that precise moment and Dayawanti looked at her shocked. That was the last thing she wanted now.

Arey Neela, tum yahan? Bebe asked surprised.

Mere pati ka hi tho ghar hai. Tho meraa aana zaruri tha. Ab tho Riya ki shaadi bhi honewali hai. Kya hua Maa? Khush nahi ho aap mere aane se?

Aap ise jaanta hai kya? Bebe asked Dayawanti.

Woh is ghar ka badi bahu hai. Dayawanti stated with a loathing look at Neela.

Bebe Ananya aur Neil kaha hai? Aaya nahi ab tak.

Hum toh yahan hai Neela Maa. Neil said entering from the main door.

All turned their heads to look at them and saw him entering, with Avni held tight by him. She was having a vulnerable look and was not even looking at Dayawanti and the Mehta's. Neela felt hurt seeing her like this. All these years she was burning in the fire of revenge and when the moment was finally here, she was very scared. Seeing her clutching Neil tightly, she felt a bit contented as finally she trusted a man.

She would have opposed the plan to arrest today, but prolonging meant a more and more vulnerable Avni and she didn't want to witness that.

Neil came inside and sat on an empty couch. Avni refused to leave him even for a second. So he made space for her in the same couch and made her sit next to him.

Neil.. woh...  mujhe maar denga. Mujhe dar lag raha hai. Hum yahan se chalte hai. Please. Avni murmured shivering, looking at Dayawanti and then immediately turning her head towards Neil.

Koi kuch nahi karengi tumhe. Main hoon na, don't get scared okay Avi?

Neil, lekin woh bahut hi khatarnaak hai. Woh woh.....

Yeh ladka kon hai? Bebe interrupted Avni as if she keep on talking they would get to know that they are here to arrest them.

Aman who descended the stairs slowly, slowly had seen Avni shivering in Neil's arms. He was supposed to come a bit later according to their plan. But Avni's condition made him execute his part soon.

Woh mera pota hai. Amol Mehta. Dayawanti introduced Amol.

Amol came down now and stood near Neela.

Riya ka bhai? Bebe asked Dayawanti.

Mera beta Ashish ka beta hai.

Hmm. Woh ab kahan hai?

He is in UK.

Iski Maa kaha hai.

Woh ab is duniya mein nahi raha. Bhagwan ke pass chali gayi.

Chali gayi yaa phir aapne bheja usse wahan Mrs Dayawanti Mehta. Ashish barged into the house with some papers in his hands.

Ashish! Said a shocked Dayawanti exclaimed.

Bhaii!! Diksha too exclaimed but Ketan remained unaffected by the sudden entry of his brother.

You are under arrest. Ashish came to her and showed the papers.

It had pictures of her killing Aayesha and some other proofs against her.

He held her hands and dragged her out of the house harshly.

Meanwhile Mithali and some other constables had Diksha and Riya handcuffed.

Outside, Ashish had dragged her till the bottom of the stairs and into the lawn. A lot of media people were present there clicking the pictures.

Neil was not able to come and help in arresting as Avni was still refusing to leave him. The two of them were still inside the mansion. Neil was trying hard to convince Avni to let him go just for a moment as he wanted her to witness the downfall of her culprits. But she was not ready.

Avni, you are no longer weak. Dekho tumhara badla pura hua hai. Dayawanti is arrested now. You are a strong one and you have to face her now. Go to her and stand infront her. Prove to her that truth can never be kept hidden for a long time.

Sahi bol raha hai woh Avni. Tumhe samna karna honga uska ab. Bahut chup e khela. Aaj tumhara jeet hua hai. You should not be scared today. Ketan said coming from behind.

Aap? Aapko arrest kyu nahi kiya. Neil yeh...

Avni, he helped your father escape years ago. Isliye arrest nahi kar raha. He is not guilty.  Aman ko protect karne ke liye hi he was with Dayawanti all these years. Ab yeh bhi free hai. Tum chalo mere saath bahar. Tumhara dushman ka haar dekhne.

Aur agar tum ab nahi aayi toh sabko bura lagegi na. Itna sara planning sab waste ho jayengi. You want that to happen? No. Ok then come with me.

Neil said and surprisingly she obliged. Maybe Ketan's words and his true character might have encouraged her.

She came outside beside Neil now. Neil stood at the top of the stairs and waited for her to go and tackle Dayawanti.

Ashish was addressing the media now. Neil was looking at Avni and all the others were busy in celebrating. Neela was hugging Aman tightly and the Khanna family was looking at them lovingly. DD was helping Mithali in taking Riya and Diksha to the jeep.

Dayawanti was standing near one of the empty jeeps, a gun in her hand. Nobody noticed her as all were busy. She pointed the gun at Avni.

Is ladki ki wajah se yeh sab ho raha hai. Marna chahiye ise.

Tttoo. A gun shot was heard.

Avni clutched her shoulders tightly and screamed in pain. Neil who saw this rushed towards her screaming

Avniii...!!

Avni? Dayawanti received double shock now.
One: Avni got shot even before she could shoot her herself.
Two: Avni was alive, the small eleven year old girl she shit fifteen years ago was standing in front if her again.

But again, Avni was not dead now. She was clutching her shoulders, meant that the bullet had hit her shoulder. If she could just shoot her on her head, then she would be dead. So Dayawanti was trying to target the bullet, but

Happy realization Dayawanti Mehta. Ashish had said and shot her, directly on her forehead.

The gunshot sound and Avni clutching her shoulders had made Neil alert and he was beside Avni now. He was crouching close to her and tapping her cheeks, as she was completely unconscious.

In all this mess nobody noticed the black SUV speeding away from there.

Ashish and the others too started running towards her. Mithali too was shocked as none of tgem anticipated such a thing. So taking that as an opportunity Riya tried to run away, but was not able to, due to her heavy dress and jewelleries. DD had blocked her way even before ahe completed three steps and she mentally cursed Shweta for that.

Another shot was heard and this time a male voice screamed in dire pain.

Neil sir!!! DD recovered from the shock first.

Neil now lied beside Avni, on his stomach and all could see a patch of blood on his back near his shoulders.

Shweta immediately ran to him and started calling him.

Neil, Neil beta. Neil! She was crying now afterall her own son was shot right in front her.

Instead of coming to Neil DD had gine somewhere else. Nobody noticed it, except Ashish as he could guess who shot Neil.

DD the shoot at sight order active. You can proceed now.

With a determined look DD ran towards the gate, behind and woman and started chasing her. One of the constables followed him.

Ketan called an ambulance as no one present over there was in their right senses. Ashish Neela and Aman were crying near Avni, Ashish continuously asking hee to open her eyes. Neela was checking her wound which had turned bluish now. Ahe was panicking seeing it and a utterly helpless Aman was trying to calm them down.

Same was the case with Neil. Bebe and Shweta were crying while Prakash was trying to console them. Neil was groaning in pain as the wound was too deep. Prakash understood his pain clearly as yesterday he had heard DD's description of the gun that Juhi had procured. Neil wad trying his best to control the pain, but in the awkward position he was, lying on his stomach and head turned aside in an uncomfortable manner, was not

After a while, Ashish finally sobered himself up and went to Dayawanti's body. He took the gun from near her and went away asking the others to take the body away.

Mithali had finally taken Riya and Diksha to the station and was completing the file works related to the same, so that there was no chance thwy could escape. Neil had given video proofs of Riya trying to cause Avni's accident and they also had her phone recording. Ketan had given his statement about Diksha killing Neela's father and thinhs were settled now .

In the Mehta Mansion now, the ambulance had arrived. Neil and Avni were carried on stretchers inside the ambulance and the others followed in cars.
