The next day morning, as usual Avneil went jogging. DD didn't accompany them as he was a sleepy head. While jogging Avni asked Neil about how he became an officer, how was the exam, how was the training and all. And Neil was answering very honestly and happily, there were two reasons. 1: It was Avni who was asking. 2 He loved his job very much, so anything related to it makes him happy. He was answering her questions and happiness was clearly visible in his eyes. Noticing it, Avni asked,

You love your job a lot?

A lot. It was my dream. Dada's dream tha woh.  Woh ek saying haina ki hum agar shiddat se kisi ke liye mehnat karte ho toh puri duniya humare madad karenge woh manzil thak pahunchne main I believed it and isliye I tried my best to achieve that and now I'm a police officer. You didn't think about joining police force at least once in your life?

I hated the Indian police system.

It hurt Avni. Indian police ko hi aise bolna.

It was past tense Neil. I hated.

They reached back soon and saw Bebe waiting for them.

Woh uske room main hain. Maine kaha ki jab tak Prakash call nahi rakhta tab tak voh andar hi rahe. Ab tum dono jaldi breakfast karo.

Bebe, let's just get freshened up first.

No. Pehle khao. Phir freshen up ho jao. Ab baitho.

They both sat on the couch and Bebe fed them in a hurry. It was almost noon in India and Prakash can call anytime. (I just checked the time difference between India and London and it was 5 hours and 30 min. But ignore that in the story).

After breakfast Bebe asked Neil to come to his room. Avni went and freshened up in the meantime.

Bebe?

Haan, andar aao aur yahan baith.

Haan. Baith gaya. Ab batao kya baat karni thi aapko?

Neil got what Bebe was reaching at,  so he asked,

Whom? That Riya. Usse shadi karne se achha yeh honga ki I marry a makeup shop. Are you even serious Bebe? Pata nahi kaise Avni jhelthi thi use.

Arey Neil, don't act innocent. I know that ki tumhe pata hai main kiske baare main baat kr raha hun. Toh batao, you like her right?

No way Bebe! Neil screamed.

Ab chalo. Let me tell you the plan. She got up and moved out of the room and Neil too followed.

In Avni's room Avni was sitting on the bed looking at her phone.

Avni beti, yeh kya pehna hai tum? Abhi jaake Avi outfit pehenke aao, Prakash call karnewala hai.

Uski kya zaroorat Bebe.

Zaroorat hai. Tum jao aur change karlo.

Ok. Avni went to change and came back wearing a cute t-shirt and a shorts.

Good! Ab now you sleep on the bed.

Maine bola na sleep.

Ok.

Avni layed on the bed.

Neil, ab tum bhi let jao.

Haan. Neil said and lied down next to her. He knew that when Bebe's mind was set on something he can't argue and win.

Then Bebe asked them to hug each other and sleep. Both were feeling awkward. But Bebe being Bebe forced them to stay like that, Avni sleeping completely on Neil's chest. They tried protesting once again.

Bebe aise kyu karna hai. Just sleeping will be enough right? Tho yeh sab drama kyun?

Woh sab hai. Jab Dayawanti tum dono ko itna close dekhenge toh she will be sort of scared, you see about Riya's and yours marriage, woh to waise bhi nahi honewala. Tho mazak banana tho banta hai na, after all the Khanna's ko dokhe dene ka koshish ki usne. Bebe said, first her tone was mischievous, but towards the end it became a serious, don't mess up one. Neil obliged not having any other option. Avni tried once again.

Bebe please na koi aur idea soch leti hai hum?

Ab kaise bachha? Prakash abhi abhi call karenga and humare acting shuru karni hongi na hume?

We will sleep with the duvet on?

Hmmm. Ok. Woh teekh rahega. Aur use dara dene ke liye aur bhi tricks jo hai mere paas.

Bebe aap na woh serial wale jaise lagti hai, all planning and all. Neil said.

Tho? Tumhe problem hai kya usme? Bebe asked in a serious tone.

N....na....nahi tho. Neil replied gulping.

Tillu toh good boy ban gaya. Ab tum dono so jao aur Neil tumhara phone paas me hi rakhna. Ok.

Haa. With that they both lied down pulling the duvet over them.

A bit later Prakash's call came. And as asked by Bebe Neil ignored it. After the call got eneded Bebe came inside, and Prakash called once again.

In Mehta Mansion,

Two constables had reached there to take Aman to the station stating that they want to take his sign on a document of some sort. Dayawanti was refusing to let him go and insisted on accompanying him, when Shweta and Prakash came there.

Kya hua? Ise kyu le ja rahe ho? Prakash asked one of the constables.

Commissioner sir ka order hai. Neil sir bhi nahi hai tho hume hi aana pada. Kuch document sign karwana hai.

Hmm.... Aap ise le sakte ho, but make sure that he is not harmed and returns back safely. Nahi tho Neil......

Ok sir.

The constables then took Amol away.

Par Prakash ji, use lene kyu diya? Dayawanti asked.

Aap fikr math kijiye, kuch nahi hoga use, if he is innocent. I know that constables well, tho aap math dariye. Hume kuch important baat karni hai, shaadi ke baare main.

Hearing that Dayawanti became more anxious. What if they cancel the wedding and the deal would be cancelled. No she should somehow coax them and make sure that this marriage happens. It was with very difficulty that she had convinced the bank manager to extend that loan time period for another month.

Aap dono andar aaiye na. Ketan, Riya ko bulao jaldi.

Prakash and Shweta were seated on the couch, while Dayawanti and Ketan were sitting in the adjacent couch. Riya was out now.

Dayawanti ji, Neil ne kaha ki shaadi ko prepone kare.

Lekin uska kaam? Dayawanti was happy regarding the matter, but she was not showing it and instead acted as if she is worried about his work in Delhi  (which actually don't exist). She had once personally went to the station to ask when Neil would be coming back and they had replied after a month.

Woh complete hua hai. Kal woh London gaya hai, Bebe ke paas aur Ananya bhi hai wahan. Itne saalon baad use mila hai tho, Bebe ne party rakha hai, and him bhi niklenge wahan ke liye, within two days. Shweta's acting was not so dramatic (like in Naamkarann).

Woh toh achhi baat hai. Shaadi ka muhurat nikalna honga phirse.

Humne pandit ko bulaya hai. Abhi Neil ko bhi phone karenge. Thaaki hum woh sab clear kare humare jaane se pehle. Prakash ji aap Neil ko call kare, main pandit ji ko call karta hoon.

Ji Shweta ji. Prakash called Neil.
Woh uth nahi raha hai.

Ek aur baar try karo. Dayawanti was unable to hide her eagerness.

Prakash called Neil once again and this time on the third ring the call was picked up by Bebe.

Bebe aap? Neil nahi hai kya? Shweta asked in a loud and surprised voice.

Shhh...awaaz neeche rakho. Bachho so raha hai. Yeh dekho. Bebe now turned the camera towards Avneil, who were acting as if they were in a deep sleep. Dayawanti saw that and Riya who was back from shopping too, saw it.

What's this? How can they sleep like this. Mera shaadi honewali hai Neil ke saath....

Heyy ladki awaaz neeche. Dikhayi nahi de raha ki woh so raha hai. Hote kon yeh ladki, mere Tillu ko uthane waali.  Neil just stirred a bit now.

Bebe aap bahar aaiye na. Un dono ko sone de ab. Shweta said.

Haan. Use uthana bhi nahi hai. Abhi abhi soyi hai aur tum call kyun kiya iss waqt.

Woh Bebe, shaadi ki baat karni thi. Isliye call kiya.

Hmmmm. Woh ladki kon thi, jo chilla rahi thi thodi der pehle?

Bebe..... woh humare honewala bahu hai. Neil ki fiancée.

Hmm. Dikhao tho use. Main bhi dekhu woh kaisa hai.

Prakash turned the camera towards Riya and Shweta asked her to stay properly.

Kya pehenke rakha hai yeh? Yeh koi kapda hai kya? Shaadi hone wali hain aur kapde tho dekho. Shweta kaise ladki hai yeh. Are you sure ki Neil likes her.

Bebe..... aap yeh kya bol rahi ho. Riya bahut hi achhi ladki hai. Achha khandaan hai, achha parivar hai,

Bas, gungan band karo. Mujhe tho bilkul bhi pasand nhi aaya. Lekin Neil ko pasand hai toh, I will adjust.

Hmm.. Bebe isse miliye, yeh Riya ka daadi hai, Dayawanti Mehta.

Riya beta, bura mat mano, woh Neil se bahut pyaar karti hai. Isliye thoda protective hai use lekar. Aur Ananya se bhi. Kareena Ananya aur Neil jaan hai unka.

Lekin aunty, how can they sleep so close, I mean Neil ka shaadi hai na tho he should at least have maintained some distance from her.

Riya woh dono bachpan se hi saath hai, aur Ananya is Neil's first priority. Woh kabhi bhi use khudse alag nahi hone dunga. He loves her a lot. Shweta said.

Neil was about to break this marriage alliance, just to marry Ananya. But Ananya ne hi usko roka hai, he will only listen to her from now and Bebe too.

Ananya tumhara friend tha, she didn't want you to be heartbroken. Isliye Neil ko roka shaadi thodne se. Aur you have created a bad impression on Bebe. Agar Bebe yeh baat Neil ko bata dungi toh he might change his decision.

Aise kaise Shweta ji. Uska life ka decisions use khud leni chahiye na. Dayawanti was hell worried now with the turn of events. She somehow wanted the marriage to happen now.

Aap sahi bol rahi hai, Dayawanti ji. But Ananya aur Bebe hi uska life ka most important persons hai. Tho unka opinion matters a lot to him. And Riya mujhe lagta hai ki jab Bebe yaha aaye, toh u jave to make a good impression on her.

Shweta and Prakash left now.

Dayawanti was looking at Riya and was glaring at her.

Arey wah, kya baatein chal raha hai? Aur Riya babu ka chehra aisa kyun hai? Diksha asked entering the hall.

Bua daadi asked me to wear salwar kameez and to make biryani.

Haan to. Woh sab toh tumhe seekhna hi tha. Shaadi honewali hai thodi din mai.

But Neil would never mind right. So main kyu seekhu?

Never mind? Tum itne date pe gayi ho uske saath. U don't know his likes? Dayawanti roared at her.

He always cancels most of them and goes to work and sometimes call an Ananya and Ali too.

Bas. Ananya ke baare me kuch nahi bologe. If she is displeased, then Neil shaadi tod sakti hain. You call her once and talk to her.

Nahi nahi. She was sleeping now and agar woh aurat phir se phone uthaya tho shaadi nahi honga. Tum jao yahan se.

In the car that was taking Amol,

The car stopped in front of a big building  and the constables asked him to come out. He came out silently and stood there. He looked at the surroundings and asked,

Kaha laaya ho mujhe. Daadi ko

Chup raho ladke. Jaldi chalo. Sir must be waiting.

Amol made an attempt to run, but the constables dragged him inside a flat and then inside a room. In the room a video was playing on a large screen set on one side. Amol looked at it shocked.

It was the same video in Ashish was kileed by Dayawanti, but he did not die.

Papa zinda nahi hai? Daadi ne jhoot bola? Usne maar diya usko?

Main zinda hi hun Aman. Ashish said coming from behind.

Aap zinda hai. Aman asked shocked. Lekin yeh video.

I didn't die that day. Mera beta aur beti ko akele kaise chod sakta hun?

Tum pehle baitho yahan. Ashish pointed to a couch and made him sit. Then he too sat and started explaining everything to him. About his and Aayesha's love. About Avni, about Dayawanti hating Aayesha then killing her. He showed her the photos also.

Daadi aise nahi kar sakti. Aap jhoot bol rahe ho.

You don't believe me. Maine toh puri kahani sunaya hi nahi.

Haan. He then said how Dayawanti took him away when he was born, how Avni took care of him and called him Aman and also said that Dayawanti sent Avni to prison for murdering her own mother. He told how Dayawanti shot her on her chest and how Riya pushed her down.

Amol was very sad hearing it, but he still didn't believe Ashish. He asked for more proofs. Ashish showed him the picture of Avni and Aayesha and then later took him Aayesha Avni ka ghar. There also were many pictures. Amol now had tears in his eyes because  he was finally believing what Ashish said.

Ab mera di nahi hai yaha? He asked in a broken tone.

Woh bahut pyaar karti hai tumse. Isliye tumhe waapas paane kw liye lautke aayi hai woh maut ki muh se.

Woh zinda hai?

Aman then went back with the constables and he heard Dayawanti asking Ketan to look for him. He tried his best to act normal and said,

Main yahan hoo daadi.

Aman beta. Woh log tumhe kuch kiya toh nahi.

Nahi daadi. I'm fine. Mujhe ab jaake sona hai.

Haan chalo lunch karo pehle.

Nahi daadi, baad main kha loonga.

Mujhe abhi lunch nahi karna. He said and stormed into his room.

Shayad he is upset. Kuch nahi baad me khilauga use. Ketan woh deal ka kya hua Sharma ke saath.

They agreed, but 2 weeks ka time diya hai to prepare the files.

Tho tum ready karo na woh?

Maa, maine socha ki Aman ko bol du. Future main use company sambhalna honga na.

Ab woh chota bacha hi. Tum hi complete karo and make sure that we get the deal.

Haan. Ketan too left from there angrily.

In London. In Avni's room, after Bebe left.

Avni gave him a look hearing princess, but said,

Bebe narrated the whole call thing to Avneil and DD and they all laughed their hearts out.

Dayawanti Mehta to bahut dari hui dikh rahi thi. Mujhe bahut maza aaya aaj.

Aur Riya ko bhi sabak sikhaya

I asked her to dress properly and I'm sure ki when you see her next time she will be in salwar.

Woww Bebe. Neil exclaimed. He was clearly happy about the happenings

Lekin Bebe main bhi toh shorts pehenti hun na.

Uske liye bhi I have some solution. Ab baitho aur baatein karo. Main lunch ready kardeti hun.

Main bhi aapka help karti hun. Avni volunteered and joined Bebe.

Neil and DD sat there and discussed something. They received Ashish's call. Ashish told them about aman and asked to keep it a secret from Avni. They agreed and soon Bebe came with lunch. She saw Ashish on call and then they talked for sometime.

Bebe Riya shayad biryani banana seekh raha honga. I asked her to impress you and said that you like biryani. Shweta said happily.

Achha kiya.

Ashish then told them about an arrest warrant for Dayawanti.

They all rejoiced at it. After cutting the call, Avni went to work on the laptop and DD and Neil played games.

In the night too they had dinner, had some fun and retired to their rooms.

Neil went to Avni's room and sat on the bed as she was in the washroom. As soon as ahe came out, he asked,

Main yaha so jaun, tumhare saath.

Nahi. Niklo yahan se. Tumhare room me jaao na.

But I came here to get what I got yesterday.
Avni blushed deeply remembering yesterday night, of how she kissed Neil's cheeks.

Neil came closer to her,

I'm waiting baby.

Neil... tum.. jake so jao na....

Pehle ek kiss do yahan pe, just like yesterday, he said pointing his cheeks.

Avni was now blushing more and looking down.

It's ok. I will leave now. Tum so jao. I'm sorry.

He left her and turned to go thinking thta maybe she was uncomfortable, maybe she kissed him yesterday in the heta of the moment.

Neil...

Haan Avni. You want something. He turned around.

Avni kissed his cheeks and ran to the bed and slept. Neil just closed her door and went to her caught her on the bed and said,

Thank you for that baby. Now it's my turn.

No need Neil. U go and sleep.

Aise kaise.

He kissed on her both cheeks deeply, Avni had closed her eyes. He then pecked her forehead,

Good night baby, dream about me and sleep well.

He left her room. Avni blushed thinking of his actions and slept soon, when she was lost in his thoughts.
