Got a new phone and now back to wattpad. And here I go with the update:

After a week, Avneil were finally discharged from the hospital. In all the seven days Avni didn't get to know about Kareem while Neil had forced Ashish and DD to spill a bit. He knew a few things now.
1. Kareem wants Ashish to suffer badly.
2. He was planning to hurt Avni and somewhere Neil too.
3. He was locked in jail by Ashish and was now back for revenge.

Knowing all these, he was restless. He had reached a conclusion by now. Kareem was really dangerous and Neil was thinking of ways to protect Avni from him, without letting her know about the same.

Avni's routine these days was waking up in the morning sometimes listening to doctor's talks or other times Neil's screams. He was experiencing severe pain and the doctors gave him anesthetic while changing his bandage.

He was asked to take complete bed rest for almost two months and Ashish had already applied for his leave and it was sanctioned too, even though Neil tried to stop him many times. He was not even able to wear any shirt, cause that hurted his arms, so he covered himself with the duvet, that he asked Shweta to bring from home.

Avni's condition was quite okay. Her wound didn't hurt much. And she was  quite cranky these days.  She became the old Avni once again and Neela felt happy for the same. She always wanted Ashish to feed her, if not then she will not eat. Ashish was happy about the same too, why won't he be happy as his daughter, whom he thought was dead, was demanding his attention. The father-daughter duo talked for hours, while Neil rested most of the time.

He would be either sleeping or sometimes just laying, staring at the ceiling. He was bored as he was never used to rest, always working.

DD and Mithali carried on the case forward of both Dayawanti and Juhi. Riya and Diksha were imprisoned for twenty years.

Back at home now, both were strictly asked to not to leave their rooms. Avni was somewhat okay with it as she could simply lie down and read books, but Neil was not able to do anything except sleeping.

Sometimes, they would slowly sneak out of their rooms, just to have some chat with family members, but eventually ended up being caught by Bebe. For their safety, Ashish has asked all of them to stay under one roof, the Pareikh Mansion. Neela loved the hustle and bustle in the house. She along with Hetal and Shweta cooked for all of them, while Prakash and Ketan discussed business, they were asked to work from home by Ashish, just to be safe. Ashish was busy and out most of the except during meals, as Avni demanded his time then. Kareena and Aman continued going to their coleges, they had sevurity around them, but were not aware.Bebe had the difficult task of all. She was supposed to keep company with Avni and Neil, but both of them in bed and in seperate rooms, she was tired of walking. Avneil had insisted on her taking rest and now she would just visit them twice a day, at the least.

Neil spent most of his time sleeping or just thinking. He was never used to being locked inside a room. When he got the chance, he would slowly sneak his mobile phone from the far away drawer and chat with his love who was in the next room.

She was always online now, owing to the rest that she was prescribed, but she was not free unlike him. She had persuaded Prakash to let her complete few projects as she would get bored, and after a lot of pleadings, he had finally agreed. She now worked from her bed, and kept her phone close, so whenever Neil messaged she could reply instantly.

After two very looooooonnnnng weeks,

Avneil were sitting in the dining room, with the whole family, including Ketan and Hetal. DD was there with them too, and he was tellimg them about Vidyut's arrival, tomorrow in the noon.

Neil was finally allowed to to move out of his room and he was quite happy about that. When they were having their dinner Ali and Mitali barged in taking all of them by surprise.

"Guys a good news" Ali shouted excitedly.

"Good news!" Bebe asked excitedly.

"We are getting engaged the day after tomorrow" Ali spoke to all and then invited them for his and Mitali's engagement party.

All congratulated them and they talked on till late night.

Sorry for the short update.
No Avneil scenes in this chapter cause I wanted them to get a bit well first before continuing the track.

I will update slowly maybe for a week or two as I have to complete a lot of notes and also attend the online classes. Hope you all will keep supporting.
