Flowery Figure
It was cold.
Really cold.
The room was flooded with shadows, the occasional glow of a light from the hallway gleaming from underneath the door. Brightney was probably staying up late again. Everyone knew she was a night owl, especially Glisten, who couldn't get his 'beauty rest' because of her.
I sighed, hopping out of my bed and opening the door. There was a figure walking at the end of the hallway, an oddly familiar torn petal being visible to me.
The figure turned around, noticing me. I guess they had heard my door open. Immediately, they took off in a sprint to the elevator. I chased after them, knowing good and well exactly who they were.
Where has he been? What the hell has he been up to?
I felt an inky substance on my hands, realizing I was squeezing the end of my scarf. It pulled away, whacking me disapprovingly.
As I chased after the figure, they slid behind a corridor, disappearing into thin air when I rounded it. I slowed down my pace, stopping in front of the elevator that was still open.
"What...." I whispered, turning all around. He had just... disappeared...... was I going crazy..? No...no, no, I had seen him! He was there! I'm not crazy!....
Am I?...
Psh. Of course I'm not, I saw him. I started laughing to myself. Dandy was playing a little trick on me! He thinks he's so funny, huh? Well, it won't be funny for him when he gets a hole straight through his head, hahah!
So I stood there in the middle of the hallway laughing, for quite some time.
Eventually, I finally went back to bed, when my throat was hoarse. Hopefully no one heard me.
I must've sounded crazy.
But I'm not crazy.
I'm perfectly sane.
And whoever thinks I'm crazy has something coming to them that may or may not make them crazy.
That's only something sane people would say.
Right?
Guys I don't think he's sane
