xx At shoot xx

Zain was in a bad mood god knows y. He himself couldn't decode his encrypted mood sometimes. He wasn't able to focus on the scene and as a result he was taking too many takes. Director gave him a break and told him to relax.

Zain's pov:

What's happening? Why am I unfocused? Is it because of my conversation with Appu yesterday? I decided that I won't think about that guy but my mind keeps on wandering. Focus Zain focus.

Zain's pov ends

Meanwhile Aditi's scene got over and she saw Zain sitting in the chair alone. So she went to him and sat beside him.

A: Hey Zain! She waved at him

Z: Hii adi! He smiled

A: aise akele kyu baithe ho? ( Y r u sitting alone?)

Z: wo.... actually....

Before he could say something spot dada came

S(spot dada): Zainji yeh lijiye aapka chai ( Zain take ur tea) he said handing him a glass of tea.

Zain turned to him and started yelling

Z: Dikhayi nahi deta aapko? Baat kar Raha hoon na. Aur yeh kya hai? meine coffee maangi thi chai nahi. Ab jao coffee lekar aao (r u blind? Can't u see I am talking? And what's this? I asked u coffee not tea. Now go get a cup of coffee for me)

Aditi was shocked seeing his behaviour. Dada went to bring coffee.

A: Zain what was that? Y did u yell at him? She asked raising her eyebrows

Z: yaar actually mera mood thik nahi hai Isiliye itna impatient ho Raha hu. (Actually my mood is off so I am being impatient) he explained

A: Kahi ka gussa Kahi aur nikalna acchi baat nahi hai Zain. Aur wo tho tumhare dad ke age ke honge Shayad. Kam se kam Umar ka tho lihaz karthe. Sorry bolo unko (u are angry at something and showing it somewhere else. That's not right Zain. And he is of ur dad's age apparently. Atleast u should have respected his age. Say sorry to him)

Z: thik hai mein sorry bol Dunga Lekin mere mood ka kya?(fine. I will say sorry to him but what about my mood?)

A: pehle tum sorry bolo phir mein bataungi kya karna hai. ( U first apologize to him I will tell what to do later)

Zain went to him and apologized for his rude behaviour.

Z: Sorry dada. Wo mein ne Kahi aur ka gussa aap pe Nikal diya. Mujhe aap pe Aisa chillana nahi chahiye tha. Maaf kar dijiye mujhe.(sorry dada. I should not have shouted on u. Please forgive me)

S: aap mujhse maafi kyu maang rahe hai zainji? Yeh tho hamare saath hotha hi rehtha hai aadat pad chuki hai iss sabki. aap nahi tho koi aur daatenge. (Y r u apologizing zainji? This happens frequently and I am used to it. If not u someone else will scold)

Z: Dada mujhe Patha hai meine galat Kiya isiliye maafi maang Raha hu. Aap itne bade hai mujhe Aisa nahi karna chahiye tha. Mujhe hi nahi kisi Ko bhi aisa barthav nahi karna chahiye. Aaj se mein dhyaan rakhunga ki koi aapko nahi daate. promise. (Dada I know that I was mean that's why I am apologizing. U r elder I should not have done that. Not only me, no one should behave like that. From today I will take care that no one speaks rudely to u. I Promise) he said pinching skin at his neck

S: Aap kitne acche hai zainji. Aapko wo sab kuch mile Jo aap chahthe hai.
(U r so sweet zainji. I wish u get everything u want in life)

Z: Thanks dada. Aur haa aap mujhe zainji nahi Zain bulaenge. Thik hai?
(Thanks dada. Call me Zain not zainji. Ok?)

S: ok Zain beta.

Zain smiled at him and returned to Aditi.

A: arey Wah! meine tho sirf sorry bolne Ko kaha tha tumne tho promise karliya. Nibha paaoge? ( I just asked u to apologise. U promised him too. Will u stick to your words?)

Z: definitely maharani Sahiba. Ab boliye kya plan hai aapka?

A: u r on break right? Then I too have nothing to shoot because only our scenes are left. Shall we go out somewhere? She asked him excitedly

Z: shall we go to beach then? It's 5 pm. We have two hours more. We shall go and come back till 7.

A: ok chalo ( let's go then)

Zain goes to beach so often. He knew where there wouldn't be much crowd. He drove to a secluded area on the beach. It was sunset time when they reached the beach. Aditi was mesmerized by the beautiful scenery in front of her.

A: Zain yeh jagah tho bohot hi khubsoorat hai. Aur yaha zyada log bhi nahi hai. (Zain this place is so beautiful and there are very less people here)

Z: Mujhe actually beaches bohot pasand hai Lekin Delhi mein tho beach hi nahi hai. Isiliye jab mein Mumbai aaya tha tab mere dost Abhilash Sabse pehle mujhe yaha lekar aaya. Tab se yeh mera favourite jagah ban Gaya. Hum hafte mein do teen Baar yaha aaya karte the. Ab tho itna time nahi milta hai. Lekin I make sure that I visit this place once in a while. Jab bhi mera mood off hota hai na mein yahi aata hu.( Actually I love beaches a lot. But there is no beach in Delhi at all. Thats why When I came to Mumbai my friend Abhilash first brought me here. This became my favourite place from then. We used to come here two or three times a week. Now i don't get time but I make sure that I visit this place once in a while. I come here whenever my mood is off)

A: now this has become my favourite place too She said spreading her arms
walking towards the waves.
Waise tumhara mood kyu off tha?(why was ur mood off?)
She said turning towards him

Zain thought for a while what to say because he couldn't say the actual reason.

Z: wo...actually....mein he fumbled

A: tujhe nahi bataana hai tho mat bata koi baat nahi ( if u don't want to  say it's ok. I don't mind) she said folding her arms

Z: aisi koi baat nahi hai. Aao chalte chalte baat karte hai (it's not like that lets talk while we walk) he said showing his hand in certain direction.

They started walking along the shore.

A: Agar aisi baat nahi hai tho batau na. Kya hua?(if there's nothing like that then tell na what happened?)

Z: umm.. it's about my dreamgirl. Do u remember I told u it's complicated?

A: Haa yaad hai mujhe. ( Yeah I remember)

Z: Mujhse Milne se pehle wo kisi aur se pyaar Karti thi. Mujhe Abhi Patha chala hai ki wo usse Abhi tak bhool nahi paayi (she was in love with someone before she met me. I just got to know that she still loves him) he dropped his in disappointment

A: Zain aise udaas nahi hote. Ruk yaha baitho (Zain don't be sad. Wait. Sit here) she sat on the sand and tapped the place next to her.

He sat next to her. She put her hand on his shoulder and said

A: Tumne usse Apne feelings ke baare mein bataya? (did u confess ur feelings to her?)

Z: kaise karta yaar wo tho mujhe dost maanti hai aur ab yeh mujhse handle nahi ho raha. Mujhe dar lag Raha hai agar wo Apne past Ko bhula nahi payi tho mein kya karunga? (How can I? she treats me as a friend and this thing now I can't handle it. I am afraid  what will I do if her heart refuses to forget him?) He said with puppy eyes

A: zain mein uss ladki Ko nahi janti Lekin tumhe tho janti huna. Mujhe Patha hai tu apna jee Jaan Laga dega us ladki Ko pane ke liye. Aur dekhna tumhe wo kabhi na nahi keh paayegi.
(Zain I don't know ur dreamgirl but I know u. U won't leave any stone unturned to make her urs. And see she will definitely fall for u)

Z: sach mein adi?? He said with pleading eyes

A: Haa sach mein she said smiling

Zain couldn't control his myraid of emotions and hugged her like really tight. Aditi was in shock but she understood his situation and reciprocated. "Thank u so much adi! This  is what I wanted a hope that she will be mine" He whispered in her ear. After a moment he realised that she wasn't able to breathe in his embrace and loosened his grip. They pulled out of the hug awkwardly.

"Tum kuch ulta seedha mat karna usse pane ke liye ok?" (Don't do anything stupid to get her ok?)she said showing him her index finger to reduce the awkwardness in the air

Z: ok mein kuch bhi galat nahi karunga genuinely try karunga. Khush? ( I won't do anything that is wrong I will genuinely try. Happy?) He said slightly shaking his head

A: Haa. Ab yeh Bata meine pehle tumhare mood off ke baare mein poocha tho bolne ke liye itna kyu soch Raha tha tu? (Why were u thinking so much to tell me this when I asked u before?)

Z: Mein soch Raha tha agar mein ne reason bataaya tho tum mere baare mein kya sochogi (I was actually worried about what u will think of me if I tell u the reason)

A: arey yaar mein itna bhi judgemental nahi hu jo Apne friends Ko bhi judge Karte rahe. Aur tum tho mere Special dost ho mein tumhe kaise judge kar Sakti hu?(I am not that judgemental who judge their friends also. And u r my special friend. How can I judge u?)

Zain couldn't speak anything. He just smiled at her ruffling his hair at the back

Zain's pov:

Did she just say that I am special? Oh my god! I didn't plan to tell her all this but I did in the spurt of the moment. I didn't know that I would get this in return. Now I am confident that I can win her heart someday. She didn't revolt when I hugged her though  it wasn't a deliberate attempt i felt very happy that she didn't take it in a wrong way. Today she called me 'special friend' I will turn it to the 'only special person' in her life. But she should not find out that she is my dreamgirl. What should I do? Idea! I will tell her that I am going to meet my dreamgirl today and go to the party which Nalini invited. That will erase all her doubts if she has any.
