"This is all your fault."

"What do you mean? You are the one who slept till 9 in the morning."

"Why didn't you wake me up?"

"I tried to."

"Then why didn't I wake up?" Aishwarya complained.

Sree looked at her complaining. They were supposed to reach the crime scene at 8.30. But, as she overslept they were late now.

"Whatever... are they here?" Aishwarya asked.

Sree looked around and saw two familiar faces, CID officer Daya and Abhijeet.

"Yes. Surprisingly, the big fries are here."

"Really? I thought ACP would send some small ones."

Aishwarya turned around and directly looked at both of them.

She said,"Officer Abhijeet and Daya, please come out. I can see you both clearly."

Abhijeet and Daya exchanged glances and came out off hiding.

She murmured,"Such excellent officers and they still don't know how to hide."

Sree said,"You were keeping an eye on us,weren't you?"

Before any of them could answer, Aishwarya smiled,"Great! I actually need your help. I need to go inside Dr. Salunkhe's house."

Daya replied,"That's the crime scene.."

"I know all of you want to prove that he is innocent,  even you want that Abhijeet sir. Then,why don't we cooperate?"

Daya looked at Abhijeet to hear his answer.

Abhijeet sighed,"Fine. Follow me."

They entered the crime scene.

Aishwarya and Sree looked around but they didn't find anything.

"CCTV?" Sree asked.

"It wasn't working,"Abhijeet said,"The watchman didn't see anyone entering the house too."

"How about the backside entrance?"

"There's no camera there."

Aishwarya pointed at a nearby building.

Daya asked,"What?"

"Who needs CCTV when there's a gossip aunty?"

Abhijeet said,"I didn't understand. "

"That lady living in 5th floor of that building has been watching us for sometime... with binoculars."

"Binoculars?"Sree was shocked. He had no idea people spied on others using Binoculars.

Abhijeet said,"Hmm...let's go ask her."

Daya said,"Aishwarya and Sree,you two wait here."

So, both of them waited while the duo went to investigate.

Daya and Abhijeet returned after sometime.

Aishwarya asked,"What did she say?"

Daya replied,"A woman dragged a heavy bag and returned through the back entrance."

Sree asked,"Did she see the face."

"No."

"My guess was right," said Aishwarya.

"What guess?" Asked Abhijeet.

Aishwarya said,"Nothing special actually. Can you tell me more about Sohel or his family?"

"Sohel was an intelligence officer, we can't share information about him."

Aishwarya realised that it was no use arguing with them, so she didn't drag the matter. Rather she insisted on talking with ACP .

All of them went to the Bureau. They saw a man sitting in the chair.

The man looked at Aishwarya and smiled, "Ahhh...the Devil's advocate. I knew it. Only someone twisted like you would take this case."

Aishwarya smiled,"Ahh...the prosecutor who keeps on losing cases, Abhimanyu...I am so happy I am up against you. Now, I know that I will definitely win this case."

The smile wiped from Abhimanyu's face. He asked ACP,"Why are you helping her? Just because Dr.Salunkhe is your friend you are trying to defend him."

ACP replied,"My officers were keeping on eye on her."

"I doubt ."

"Oh, please. Whether I receive help or not, I will win this case and you know that."

"Of course, I know that. And I also know that you can do anything.. and I mean ANYTHING to win a case. After all helping criminals is your job"

"Yes. You are right. I will do ANYTHING. I dont need to listen to a loser, i can defend whoever i want and help whoever i want."

Abhimanyu now looked at Sree,"Obviously, after all your assistant is a criminal. He went to jail."

Sree looked at him,"I am innocent and it has been proven. "

"The one who defended you was Prateek. He is even worse than Aishwarya. Maybe, he forged evidences.."

Aishwarya interrupted him,"Whether he went to jail or not doesn't matter. He is now here by my side and is helping me. Unlike your assistant who took bribe and fled away."

Abhimanyu stopped talking. He didn't expect Aishwarya to bring this up now.

He said,"Whatever. See you in court."

And he left.

Aishwarya murmured,"Stupid Idiot!"

She put her hand on Sree's hand to reassure him ,"Don't let a trash like him bother you. Forget about him. And do what I said."

Saying this, she left too. Kavin and Purvi silently followed her.

Dushyant asked Sree,"You have been to jail?"

Sree glared at Ishita,"Ask her. She knows  better." Saying this, Sree left too.
