I walked slowly with Drew and May at my left. The gentle breeze caressing my hair. I kept my eyes at my naked feet in the warm sand. Walking on the beach was usually something I did to calm myself. And it always worked no matter what the situation is. But this time it was the opposite.

I looked up from my feat staring forward and not liking the sight a bit. Gary the hedgehog was running in front of us while carrying Misty piggyback style.
Apparently after going to Misty's house we managed to get no work done on the project. It was a series of the Headhog and I fighting, Drew and May throwing insults at eachother and Misty trying to calm us down. And finally she blew up and we stopped. She is a little scary when she's angry. So at last she dragged us all to the beach saying we can take a break. But as I kept watching the sight before me I wish I never came.

"Are they always this clingy." I said and it came out saltier than I expected. But of course I got no reply. I turned my head to see Drew and May engaged in a conversation about some show. This was the first time seeing them getting along. Well good for them.

Suddenly my phone beeped indicating I have a message. I pulled it out and stopped in my tracks after seeing who it was from. My eyes darkened and I almost threw the phone. I let out a gruff causing Drew to look at my direction. He whispered something to May and she nodded and ran up to Misty and Gary.

"What is it Ash?" He asked with concern. I just shook my head. He snatched my phone from my hands.
"Him again?" He said with disgust in his voice. "What the hell is wrong with that guy? Suddenly appearing from nowhere and what the heck does he want with you?" Drew yelled in frustation. "I don't know Drew. Just ignore him." I said even though I knew that It wasn't easy to ignore him. I took my phone back and we walked slowly.

All of them where sitting down and enjoying the calm breeze. Misty looked at her friends and smiled. Gary and May were talking and laughing about stupid things Misty have done when she was young. Well atleast her bestfriends were becoming bestfriends, that's great! Even though they are gonna get beaten up later.

She looked around and saw Ash and Drew sitting a little far away from them. She and Ash haven't really talked the whole day. She didn't know why he was behaving like this. One day he was all nice and the next day he is a complete jerk. Yes she and Ash were not in good terms, so what? she was determined to make it okay.

"Why the hell are you snickering?" Ash asked looking at Drew laughing at him.
"You look like you're about kill someone." He said. "And if you don't want to be that someone shut up." Ash snapped.
"You are jealous of Gary aren't you?" Drew said smirking. "Yes I am." Ash said.

"Oh don't try to give me tha- wait what?" Drew looked at him confused.
"I said I am jealous." Ash said staring into the ocean. "So you admit that you like Misty?" Drew asked again.

"Yes." Ash nodded. Drew placed a hand on his head. "Are you feeling okay?" He asked in concern. "Yes I am! What is the matter with you?"Ash groaned pulling his hand away. "Then why are you admitting everything." Now Drew was looking at Ash like he has grown two heads.

"I don't know, it's just I don't see the use in denying it with you and Paul, Instead of being stubborn it's good to be mature and admit it." Ash said simply. "Wow something is definitely wrong you." Drew said and Ash grinned.

"What is wrong with who?" Suddenly Misty came running to their side. "Him. I think he hit his head somewhere." Drew said and smirked at Ash. "Um I have to talk to May about something I'll leave you two alone." Drew said stood up and ran before Ash could say something. Misty sat down next to him. She stared into the ocean and Ash looked at her. Suddenly she turned her head to him and he turned away blushing. They sat there for a while.

Ash decided to break the silence as it was killing him. "Hi" He said and mentally slapped him. 'hi?' it was the best he could do?

Misty smiled. "Hi...So um..the summer break is around. Anything planned?" Misty said looking at him.
"Oh I'm just going home." Ash said. The thought of home and mom's cookies bringing a smile to his face.
"What about you? Are you going home?" He turned to Misty.

"I will probably go to May's house or Dawn's. I'll be all alone at home since my sisters are on a world tour, so not much sense in going there." She said.

"What about your parents?" Ash wished he hadn't asked that as he saw the smile fall from her face. Misty sighed.
"They don't really care about us. They never come home from their busy jobs." Misty said sadly. She was not one to talk about her problems but with Ash she felt at ease and same with Ash.
"Oh.. well I only have a mom, my dad left me when I was three." Ash said. The thought of his father coming to his head but he shook it off and smiled at Misty. "Oh.." Misty trailed off.
They sat in silence for another while before Misty broke the silence.
"I have a question for you." She said looking right into his eyes and he nodded. "So why did you suddenly decide to act like a jackass after I thought we were finally in good terms?" Misty asked and he sweatdropped.
"Wow you're pretty blunt aren't you?" He chuckled nervously. "Well um..I don't know..I guess I was just...um.." He felt like a stupid stuttering wreck,oh wait he was one. What could he possibly say to her? That he was frickin jealous of her bestfriend and decided to avoid her since he didn't have any idea what to do? Nah he don't think so.

Misty laughed at his uneasyness and Ash looked at her similing. His nervousness fading away. She was pretty when she laughed.

"Okay forget that. How about we start from the beginning? What do you say?" Ash asked and streatched out his hand for her to take. Misty smiled and shook his hand. "Alright with me."

"So what is up with you Gary? You guys can't stand eachother." Misty raised an eyebrow.
Ash scratched his neck. "Well I don't know what his problem is, annoying me all the time. How did you even became friends with that guy?"

Misty chuckled. "Hey I know he can be difficult sometimes but he's really nice once you get to know him." Ash rolled his eyes at this. "Yeah yeah of course you'll defend your hedgehog boyfriend." Ash said and it came out a little rude that he expected. But fortunately Misty didn't catch his tone and she laughed.

"What are you saying? That Headhog is practically like my brother Ash." This certainly lit up Ash's mood. Misty laughed again and he stared at her. "This is kind of funny. First we were at eachothers throat then we are sitting here and talking like nothing happened." She said looking at his eyes again.

"Yeah and since when did Drew and May become friends?" He asked and Misty shrugged. Suddenly they heard May shouting at her lungs. "SHUT UP GRASSHEAD!" Ash and Misty bursted out laughing at this.

The laughter calmed down after a while.Finally they sat there getting lost in eachother's eyes.

Suddenly Ash's phone beeped again (that damn phone) and he looked away. Misty blushed realising they were staring at eachother the whole time. Ash looked at his phone and instantly his mood darkened. He stood up and looked around in alert. Causing Misty to also stand up.
"What happened Ash?" She asked. "Nothing. Um.. I gotta go Misty I'll meet you tomorrow okay?" He said. "For the project I mean." He immediately added. Then he called Drew over and they were gone in a second.

What happened? What is wrong with him? Misty wondered. Disappointed that he decided to go right when they were making progress. She walked back to May and Gary.

After a while Gary and May went home and Misty decided she needed to buy some groceries. But really she just needed some time alone. She walked out of the shop with a bag in her hand. Misty suddenly took a turn to an alleyway between two enormous buildings. After walking a while she approached a small street. A little town showed up as she walked. She now stood in front of a tiny coffee shop which said 'Da Beans' .The little coffee shop was pushed a little back in between two houses. The plants from the houses spread in front of the coffee shop making it hard to notice. Despite it's size and popularity it was Misty's favourite coffee shop. They made everything super delicious. It kind of sucked that the coffee shop was in place like this. Most of the people don't even notice it, if it was in the city in a more busy place it would've gained alot of popularity.

Misty went inside the shop and saw a few people sitting there. She was familiar with most of them as all of them were regular customers. She went to the counter.

"Misty! There is my favourite customer." A woman with magenta hair stood behind the counter.
"And there is my favourite shop owner." Misty smiled. "How have you been Jessie?"

"I've been good kiddo. And something happened last week!" Jessie exclaimed smiling widely and flexing her nailpolished fingers. Misty suddenly noticed the beautiful ring.

"Oh my god! James proposed?" Misty asked excitedly and Jessie nodded in delight. She had met Jessie's boyfriend James several times, he worked in a tech company and spend all of his free time in his girlfriend's shop. It was about time he proposed!

"Aww congrats! And you have to tell me all the details sometime." Misty winked and Jessie grinned. "Of course! So the usual for you?" Misty nodded and went to a table beside the window.

She sighed peacefully. She had discovered the shop the first ever time she came to this city. Way before highschool. Her sisters had a modeling show in city and she went with them. She found the shop coincidentally while wandering around.
Her coffee and cake arrived waking her up from the thoughts. The familiar staff smiled and she smiled back. She always came to this coffee shop whenever she had time and it became more usual since she moved here. Mostly she came alone. It was sort of her private thinking and spending time with herself place.

Even though she have came to the coffee shop for thousands of times she never went further in this street. The street was right behind the busy city. It was filled with small houses and silent neighborhood giving it a friendly vibe. Misty sipped her coffee as she thought. So she wanted to explore further into this place and why not today? She decided she was going to take a look around since she didn't have anything important to do.

Misty walked for a long time. There was just a few people here and there. Now she found herself sitting in a bench at the street. Why hadn't she came here before? This part of the town was so beautiful. It was like an entire new world behind the noisy city.

Misty looked ahead and saw another alleyway. Curious, she went up there and saw the walls covered in pictures of skeletons saying danger and all. She walked through the way and arrived at another road. However this place didn't looked very friendly and inviting. Some people were standing over in one side and smoking. She didn't see their faces. A drunkard man laid opposite of them . Misty turned to go back trying to get out of there asap.

"Well well well, look at who we met again." Suddenly someone said from behind her and she froze. She knew this voice but desperately hoped it wasn't who she thought it was.

She turned around to reveal the person that she wasn't supposed to see ever again. "Rudy..." She said in shock.

The auburn haired boy smirked and threw his cigerate down stomping on it. "Never expected me here huh? Well since we're both here why don't we have talk from where we left of." He said as Misty balled her fist tight from anger.

"There is nothing to talk about! I don't want anything to do with you again." She snapped and turned around trying to walk away but Rudy caught her wrist.

"Easy there Mist.. don't think you can walk away just like that after coming here." He smirked as she turned to face him with a furious look. "If you don't want to break yourself stay there and say as I do." Misty laughed at this.
"Did you forget what happened last time? You think I can't take you out on my own?" Misty said rolling her eyes. Rudy flinched and his hand went to touch a mark on his head getting flashbacks. He shook it off and smirked again. "Oh I'm sure you can Mist. But you can't take all of us now can you?" He said and snapped his fingers. The people who she saw before came and stood behind him. She looked at the muscle bags and gulped. There was only one thing to do. She pointed her finger to the right side of the road and screamed in her lungs. "AHHHHHH A BEAR!" All of the dumbasses fell for it and turned around and Misty sprinted to the opposite side. She mentally slapped herself for going to right Instead of turning back and going to where she came from.
Rudy turned around and shouted angrily."CATCH HER!"

Ash, Paul and Drew stood in the dead end of a road leaning on the wall. There were four other guys with them. "I think you should take the offer." A guy with a white hat said. Drew glared at him.
"Shut up Brendan! Are you stupid?" Snapped a raven haired guy with a band around his head. He was using spray paint and drawing in the wall. "Aha! finished!" He said and stood back to look at his work.
"Can't you just inform the police or something Ash?" A brown haired guy who looked similar to Ash asked.
"You know Ritchie Ash would've killed you by now for your stupidity if you weren't his cousin." Said a green haired boy. "Clian got that right." Ash said rolling his eyes and went to the raven haired boy's side and looked at the messy drawings. "Nice work Tracy." Ash said.

Suddenly someone came running into him and both of them fell down. "What the heck!" He rubbed his head and looked at the person only to see the familiar redhead sitting there rubbing her head.
"Misty? What are you doing here?" He asked confused. She looked up and met his eyes. She was panting hard.

"Ash? I-I!"

"There she is!" She was cut off by Rudy. All of them came running towards them. "Who the hell are you and what do you want with her?" Ash asked suddenly catching up on the situation.
"Who are you to ask? Leave her and get out of my face if you wanna go home in one piece." Rudy said with venom in his voice. All the muscle bags behind him flexed their muscles and Ash rolled his eyes. Drew and Paul came and took position in the sides of him. "This is none of your business this is something between me and this traitor." Rudy said trying to grab Misty's hand. That certainly did it for Ash and throwed a punch at Rudy. The fight began.

Ash and Rudy were in a massive fight and Paul and Drew took on the other guys. "What the hell are you guys waiting for?" Paul barked at the four guys standing there with a puzzled look. Suddenly they came running towards them and started beating the other gang up. The guys along with Misty fought with them.
Suddenly they heard a siren and Rudy and his gang took off. Rudy glared at Ash and Misty once again before running off. The siren turned out to be on the other side of wall.

The guys and Misty panted and fell on the ground. "What's going on? Who is she?" Ritchie asked looking at Misty. "That's Ash's girl." Drew said panting. Ash and Misty blushed at this comment. Ash kicked Drew but said no more and Misty kept silent since she was panting hard. Ash looked at her.

"Now Misty. How in the hell did you manage to irk all those guys?"

Ash walked to the flat he shared with the guys.

Drew and Paul had went to Clian's house to check out his new car. I didn't go as I was in a dull mood.

After the fight Misty said sorry to the guys and got mad at me for directly assuming she was the one who annoyed them first.

She said the guy was an enemie of her from her previous school. She didn't say anything more but I was sure she was hiding something. However I didn't push her.

I approached the door and found it was...unlocked? Drew and Paul couldn't have possibly reached by now as they were at Clian's. Had someone broke in?

I opened the door and the lights were switched on.

I stopped dead in the tracks. I was shocked beyond words. There he stood looking at me. Slowly walking to my side. I was frozen in my spot.

His eyes shooting lasers to mine. The eyes I wished to see once upon a time. But the same eyes I now loathed more than anything else. He came closer and stood directly in front of me.

"How have you been son.."

Why am I so lazy? Another mystery of world.

Sooo hope this chapter wasn't boring. And what happend to Ash? He seemed.....Mature?😱 And why did his father appeared out of nowhere? What did he want?  What happened between Rudy and Misty? What is he plotting? DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNN We'll see in next chapter.

Ok so well guys, I have something to say. Im sooooooo NOT satisfied with my writing. Not even a little bit. Idk my writing style kinda seemed rushed?
