"Boss, I want her to join the guild." Ryker said, uninterested. "Don't you fucking shout, she's a woman!" Woman... Hah! Kiss my ass, bitches!

"I don't accept weaklings under my care!" The boss slammed his fist on the table. It didn't crack... Dammit... Oh yeah, fuck you asshole! He suddenly glared at me again, "Prove you can be one of us!" He challenged me.

I didn't actually do shit, except...

"I escaped Rakyrgronnerok..." I said calmly. What? That's the only thing I did! Jailbreak out of that hellhole! "That's it... I guess..." I looked at the surprised expression. What are they surprised about? It's just jail breaking. Why do they give a - oh right, prison of no escape... Yeah, I just did something surprising with my life... Shouldn't I be proud for that? Wait, let me try to be proud of that. Yaaaay!!! Sweet Wyneria please smack my head right now with your holy hand of death - I mean purity!

"Welcome to the guild!" The boss broke the silence, he was smirking? From what I can tell. "Ryker will guide you around! Now GET LOST." He shouted with rage that Ryker has to forcefully pull me out of the office.

"Ass." He muttered out loud. I smirked and lightly punched his shoulder, "What? It's true!" He complained, I just rolled my eyes and followed him. "So..."

I knew what he was going to say, "Yes, I did escape Rakyrgronnerok... I thought they're going to ask more questions..." I replied.

He shrugged, he was still surprised. "Wow, and they said Rakyrgronnerok is the prison of no escape." He chuckled, "Nah, Boss knows when people are telling the truth, I don't exactly know how he does it."

What do they say again? The eyes speak more than the mouth. Yeah, that's it. I wonder why... Nah... Too lazy to even think about it.

"So let's start from the basic." Ryker cleared his throat, "Okay, we steal shit, collect shit, sell shit, and earn shit! That's what we do!"

That's it? That sounds so simple!

"That sounds simple I know, but it's a pain in the ass. You have to be train to become one. Our trainings a bitch by the way!"

Well I regret what I said.

"Thieves are usually sent out for a client job or thieving mission. We earn shit there. But client job are far more dangerous than thieving mission. Client jobs are usually rob the banks, steal some artifact, and other things like that. It's also stealing information from the government. It's a tough job, only elite thieves can go there."

"You're not one, are you?" I said out loud. I bit my lip at the sudden outburst. He just laughed,

"Yeah, I'm not up to the challenge." Ryker suddenly shivered, "Those missions are suicide..." He muttered. "Anyway, that's what we do. For the training, let's just say a lot of shit happens there. We have to train rookies like you some pickpocketing, weapon usage, climbing skills, and running skills. There's also parkour training, I have no idea why though..."

That's worth it though! Who does not enjoy parkour?!

"After you master those shit, you'll be in a final task. That task combines every silnge training. That's the main bitch. If you pass, then welcome aboard! IF you fail..." He stopped for a while, "More training..."

Well shit. Fuck this.

He continued to discuss what thieves usually do while he was showing me around. I'm surprised actually, to become a thief. I've never been that sneaky before, plus I haven't got the time to go outside. I wonder why...?

Probably busy with technology anyway... Haha...

Okay, what the fuck is that? Seriously? I keep hearing those voices mocking me! It's so clear actually. Everytime I'm near Ryker, they start to appear out of nowhere! It's not the distorted voice, it's something different. Like the sound of goblins...

And since when did I even start laughing?!

"Hey Sylene." Ryker asked me, snapping me out of my random thoughts. I immediately looked at him and waited, "Do you use magic?"

Magic? Aren't they extinct? I'm not sure to myself, do I even use one? Suddenly, a wave of nausea hit me. Are you serious.... Right now?! My conscience must have miss me so much that it wanted me to gi back to its home! I fell to my knees. I heard Ryker shouting at me, asking if I'm alright. I wanted to shout back, telling him I have some business to attend to. But I completely fell and blacked out, going to the crystal cave.

I woke up from the harden floor, more likely crystals. I rubbed my head and slowly stood up from my current position. I stretch my arms and looked around, "You there?" I asked. My voice was echoed through the walls. I think I heard a faint and low monstrous growl. Probably my imagination. I shrugged it off and started to search for the medallion. I always kept it with me, glad Ryker didn't steal it.

"Here..." The distorted voice answered back... sleepily? It yawned for a while before it spoke up, "Yeah, let me tell you about magic... Magic is-"

"Are you sleepy?" I cutted her off, immediately regretting it. The voice growled for a moment,

"I'm a living thing too! I need sleep! For God's sake, are you even yourself, Spr-Sylene?!" It retorted. Dang she was about to say another name! Ugh... I have to force her out of it to know who it is... Probably someone useful to spread information or nah....

"So what do I do with magic?" I asked. Getting back at the subject in hand is more important than forcing out the name of the person it was about it say.

"You used to wield 12 of elemental magic." It started to explain. "In case you forgot, those elements are fire, electricity, ice, earth, poison, fear, wind, shadow, water, steel, tech, and nature."

Holy shit. Thant many?! "Do I-?" I was about to asked.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LET ME EXPLAIN!" It shouted with annoyance. That rage is real though... I'm taking a quick guess when someone interrupted it, it will be pissed. Like I am! I immediately shutted my mouth. It cleared its throat, "No, you can't wield them anymore. Something happened... Listen I don't want to talk about it... But we should get going, alright? Right now, you can only use your major element, nature, but the thing is... You're back at level 1."

There's levels... I knew it.....Wow... So much training for life...

"Listen, when you're in level 1... All the nature do is summon feeble vines. Weak vines are only capable of tripping an enemy, a simple distraction. It's an advantage for distractions alright? Since I heard you're becoming a thief, it will make your thieving training more simple. The higher the level, the stronger your abilities in the nature will be, it will even add newer abilities to the element. I'm done, you can fill me in with questions."

"Okay, So, nature is the only element I can wield for now?" I asked. This is the first question that came out of the my mind. I don't exactly know why.

"Yes, unless you've found the necklace. Find the necklace, then you'll get your full magic powers back in no time!" It said in a sing-song voice. Wow, her mood changes quickly.

"So there's levels... What's the highest level?" I asked again.

"That will be Level 15, nature element. Since your major element is nature, it will be level 15. But of course, something happened. So the highest level you can reach will ONLY be 10. That's it. For the other elements, it will be level 13. Same thing happened to it, so you can reach it at Level 10 too." It answered honestly. That sounded alot.

"So... I can only reach 10...?" I asked dumbfoundly.

"Yeah, you can say that. Even when you have the necklace, you were only level 10. So... yeah..." It started to yawn, "Anything else?"

"Nah, I got it..." I stopped. "How do I use it?"

"Knew it..." It sighed, "Close your eyes, imagine your in a forest, keep calm and listen to the sound of nature, feel the magic beating inside of you, when you feel it wanting to be release, open your eyes, spread your hands and let the magic flow out of you. Easy."

Easy said than done, you know. I did the same thing what it told me. Not a minute or less, a small vine made it out of the crystal flooring. "Wow..." I was amazed that I was actually staring!

"Now try to do that within seconds!" It said approvingly, "It'll be easy, trust me!"

Right, I spread my hands and immediately another vine escaped from the crystal cavern. "All I think was a vine and spread it. Is that it?"

"Nah, just say the thing you want to cast, that's how you do it." It said mockingly. Wow I hate that voice somehow. "Well look at the time, you have to go, see you next time!"

Another pain stabbed me in the head. I wanted to know more! But of course, karma is being a bitch. Before I knew it, I was out of this realm.
