You hear people mention all the time that they wish there was time travel or can't wait for it to be invented. People wish they could go back to relive or redo major moments of their lives.
How do they have anything to relive when these are the people who bustle around and don't make time to live in the moment they are in right now? How can they want to relive something they did not care about at the time?

What so many do not realize is that we have time travel all around us.
It comes in the form of the diaries many write. They give an account of what has occurred throughout the day, of feelings and words, of actions and regrets. Reading the pages takes a person back to how they felt, how they thought, and what they experienced at the time... just like time travel.
It comes in the form of old letters and messages. Conversations with people that can be reread. Words that bring back old feelings and previous thoughts. Conversations that allow the moment when they were spoken to be relived. The feelings make it seem as if it is just that... time travel.
Books take the reader not only to a different time, but a different world. Be it Narnia or Hogwarts, Araluen or Skandia, Godsland or Alagaësia, Primoria or simply a real-life place that has been altered. Through literature, it is the most complete form of time travel.
Music can take someone back in time as well. A simple song that was played during a major life milestone can bring so many emotions, can give the illusion of actually reliving the moment in its fullest.
Pictures and videos are also quite strong forms of time travel. Pictures capture a snapshot of emotions, actions, and moods. Videos capture the full moment and movement and actions, showing the viewer everything they wish to relive and more.

The magic of time travel is everywhere, you just have to embrace it. Do not wish to go back and redo things you may or may not regret. They all build you from who you were to who you are and who you will be in the future.
Time travel is real, not in the way most expect, just the same as magic.
Time travel and the feelings with it are as strong as your belief in them. All to often, those who believe in it and experience it most... wish they didn't.

Live your life as it comes; listen to none but your heart and conscious. Have regrets and sorrow but try not to dwell. Life is only as fun as you make it.
