Chapter 9: Watchman of the Underworld Duels with the Fiery Assassin

(Idia reminds me so much of my boyfriend. No, he did not try to restart the world, but he is the biggest nerd, smartest, most handsome, and wonderful partner that I could ever ask for. I cannot thank him enough for everything. That being said, yes, Idia is one of my favorite characters. Lea is also a favorite because of everything he does. Enjoy!)

Idia was surprised to find himself in a completely different setting, but this place also felt familiar to him. It was as if he had a connection to it. That, or he played a video game that had a similar level design to it. He was standing in an empty coliseum. There was no one in the white stands. His magic pen was placed in his magical device that he designed as a skull. He pulled a screen to examine the world and his situation. He has to find a way home.

"Well, certainly didn't expect someone like you to cause trouble in the worlds" Lea's cocky voice spoke as Idia let an "eep" out and turned around.

"W-what is going on?!" Idia exclaimed in disbelief as he stared at the fiery keyblade wielder, "I didn't do anything! I just woke up here! Please! I just want to go home! If you send me home, I will not cause any trouble!"

Lea placed his hands on his hips as he looked at Idia. The flaming blue hair reminded him of Hades...

"Hey, before I do that, I've got a question" Lea asked as he held his right hand above his head, "Are you related to Hades?"

Idia was surprised as he calmed down a little.

"Oh, yes! He's one of the Great Seven" Idia replied in relief, "I am the dorm leader that was inspired from him"

Lea sighed as he raised his head up to think for a moment. If the person before him has a connection to Hades, then that could pose as a problem for them. Someone like him shouldn't be allowed to move freely. Lea smirked as he lowered his head and grinned.

"Ok, well, I'm gonna have to take to my friends" Lea said simply as he held his right hand out to summon his keyblade in a burst of flames, "We can't exactly have someone like you running around!"

"What?! Totally uncool! What kind of NPC does this to someone who needs help?!" Idia replied in horror as he took a step back.

"You can run, but I will catch you. I'm good at that!" Lea said with a grin as he ran, jumped, and raised his keyblade above his head!

Idia let out a scream as he turned and tried to flee. He tripped on his feet and fell as Lea smirked, fire gathering around the blade. Idia whimpered as he let out a scream. Lea swung the keyblade downward to deliver a strike, but they were surprised to hear a metal clang!

Idia opened his eyes and gasped in relief and worry, "Ortho!"

His little humanoid brother was holding his arms up and blocking Lea's strike.

"Big brother! I am grateful I was able to reach you in time!" Ortho replied as he smiled and glanced at him before facing Lea, "Who is he? Is he an enemy?"

"I believe so" Idia answered as he stood up, feeling a little confident and better about their situation, "He wanted to take me somewhere else when I knew who Hades was"

Ortho's golden eyes flashed as Lea's were wide. He wasn't expecting this, but he couldn't face two on one. He made his keyblade disappear in fire before grabbing Ortho's arms, catching the humanoid off guard! Idia was surprised as Lea smirked and used his hands to unleash fire and burn Ortho's arms! Ortho quickly pushed the fiery wielder back who then had fire bursting from his feet to help push him away!

"Ortho! Are you ok?!" Idia exclaimed with worry as he tried to reach his little brother.

"I overran that step" Brain declared as he pointed his keyblade right behind Idia.

Idia froze, raised his hands, and glanced over his shoulder to see Brain holding his keyblade, Master Defender, and tipping his hat up to get a better look at Idia. Idia eyed the keyblade suspiciously until he turned to see his little brother fighting.

"Wow, you really do look like the lord of the dead. Except if he was pasty and skinny" Brain answered before his eyes narrowed, "And yet, you gave off an interesting energy signature of darkness. You fascinate me"

"Leave my big brother alone!" Ortho declared as he turned and prepared to attack Brain only to see two charkmarkers fly in front of him, "What?!"

He pulled himself back just before he crashed into a wall of fire. He scanned the area around himself to discover he was trapped in a vortex of fire!

"Hehe! Got you, robot!" Lea said in a cocky manner as he held his hands to have his charkmarkers return to him and combine to form his keyblade to point at Ortho, "Now, let's find out what happens next!"

Ortho glared as he held his hands to transform it into cannons. He opens fire, trying to strike Lea who chuckled and jumped back through the wall of fire he created! Ortho gasped, not expecting a human to jump through fire. Lea smirked as he pulled his keyblade apart to throw one charkmarker at one side while holding onto the other one. Ortho couldn't scan Lea since everything was hot, hiding the keyblade wielder from his sight. He gasped as he barely avoided the first charkmaker, but Lea was able to throw the second one behind him!

"Gah!" Ortho exclaimed in pain as he stumbled forward and trying to recover.

He could feel the burn and damage from the attack. He tried to cool himself off and recover to counterattack. Lea caught both, ran up the wall of fire, slamming his charkmarkers into one to make a keyblade appear, and front flipped above the wall of fire! He slammed his keyblade just behind Ortho to make the stone floor covered in fire! Ortho quickly hovered above the fiery floor, but Lea held his keyblade forward, fire bursting from his hands and the blade to transform it into two fiery, charkmarkers that struck Ortho's back!

"Ah, ah, ah!" Ortho cried out in pain as he felt the burns and damage.

Lea then swung the blade to deliver a strike after strike against Ortho who could only hold his arms up and take it.

"Stop it..." Idia whispered as he fell to his knees, eyes widening with the skull opening to reveal his pen, "Leave him alone..."

Brain held a skeptical expression as he took out the Gummi phone to examine Idia. Brain's eyes were wide as he discovered tremendous darkness burning inside Idia!

"Burn!" Lea exclaimed as he jumped waved his keyblade to cast a wave of fire towards Ortho.

Ortho raised his hands to cast a wave of water magic to put the incoming flames out, but he also created steam! Ortho couldn't see as Lea lunged with his keyblade drawn back. He smirked as he took a powerful swing at Ortho who raised his left arm to try and block the strike. A loud clang echoed around everyone with the fire disappearing. Lea landing before Ortho with him holding his keyblade above his head. However, his expression changed when he, along with Brain and Idia, realized that Ortho was missing his left arm completely! There was another clang as the left arm fell before Idia. He felt frozen and cold, contrasting his blue hair that slowly changed to red. He hesitantly reached out for the arm as Lea turned to Ortho who was holding his left side in pain.

"Ok, what are you?!" Lea exclaimed in disbelief and seeing the pained expression on Ortho, "I thought you were a robot!"

"He's not... a ROBOT!" Idia yelled as he burst into flames!

Brain lowered his hat, ran to Lea and Ortho, held his keyblade to create a barrier of light to protect themselves.

"He is my little brother! Ortho Shourd is a humanoid! He has a heart and soul!" Idia's pained and frustrated voice erupted as the fire burst with his pen flying in front of him to take the form a black skull with the blue gem changing to pure black!

Lea and Brain were horrified at the transformation before them. Fire and darkness dripped and smoldering each other as Overblot Idia took a single step forward and another to reveal himself to them.

"I will not you get away with hurting my little brother!" Overblot Idia declared as fire and darkness erupted from behind him!

His hair was blazing red, and his outfit wasn't his dorm uniform anymore. He appeared to be wearing a suit of black armor that appeared old but had blue outlines shining to make it appear as an updated version. He had a black mouth guard over his mouth and black band to keep his flaming hair out of his face. His hands were covered in dripping black gloves. The lab coat was black, ripped into shreds. He wore matching boots with his right eye glowing a red light.

"Hehe! I am the Watchman of the Underworld!" Overblot Idia declared as he felt himself in control of his power, "And I will send you to the realm of the dead for hurting my little brother!"

Fire and darkness burst behind him as he held hands out and looked down on them.

"Big brother! No! I'm ok!" Ortho shouted as Overblot Idia didn't seem to hear him as he waved his hand to cast a wave of darkness and fire to strike the barrier of light with Ortho pleading, "We have to save him! Otherwise, he'll die! Please! I don't know what he did, but I don't want my big brother to die!"

Lea looked at Ortho who was holding a sad, worried expression. Lea's eyes flashed to Xion who held the same expression to him, asking him for his help. Lea finally understood what Idia was trying to tell him and sighed. He kneeled before Ortho, lowered his head, and then faced the humanoid.

"You've got a heart, don't you?" Lea asked genuinely.

"Yes, I do" Ortho confirmed, "I am still learning, but I have my big brother and a group of friends! They're helping me be me! I know I am different and part machine, but I have a heart!"

Lea patted Ortho's flaming hair and answered, "And that's all you need. It will take some time for me to make it up to you and your brother, but I'll save him"

"You will?!" Ortho said in relief as Brain was surprised.

"I owe it to you" Lea answered to Ortho before turning to Brain, "And I know you can figure out what is going on"

Brain only smirked in reply before Lea took a deep breath in, summoned his keyblade, and charged forward to clash his blade against Overblot Idia's flames. Brain knew Lea could hold out for a while, so that should give him enough time to speak with the humanoid before him. Brain held Master Defender and Ortho's broken arm to then begin his repairs.

"Ah! Why do you have that keyblade?!" Ortho exclaimed as Brain raised an interested brow at him.

"So, you do recognize the blade. Well, to answer your question, this is my keyblade" Brain answered simply as he examined the arm and Ortho's body, "Fascinating! Your body is technological wonder! Whoever made you had the intent to care and love. That is for sure"

"My big brother made this body for me to protect my heart and me!" Ortho answered firmly before shaking his head, "Hey! Do not change the subject! Why do you have that keyblade? Idia and I know that it was in the hands of Master Aqua!"

Brain hummed before casting one more spell. In a dark, gray light, he repaired Ortho's arm! Ortho was surprised as he felt his arm. It worked perfectly fine now! He starred at Brain in utter disbelief while he simply chuckled.

He took his hat off to bow as introduction, "You're correct. She did wield the keyblade of my descendant. However, I've returned to finish a mission, so I took it back. My name is Brain. I must confess that I am interested in you, your world, powers, and everything! Do tell me about yourself and how you know some information regarding me and my friends"

Ortho nodded his head, "Well, were my big brother and I are from, we play video games! You and the keyblade you wield are from a video game called Kingdom Hearts! We've played through every game released and even achieved the secret ending! Though, I must confess, I do not know how far it is compared to this point in time"

Brain nodded as he tapped his cheek. Although this fascinated him, he knew that would have to wait. He turned his attention to Lea keeping his distance from Overblot Idia who cast wave after wave of endless fire.

"I can help with that, but first, we have to help your big brother and Lea" Brain said seriously as he held Master Defender in his hand with his hat tipped down, "You wanted us to save your big brother, why is that? To me, it looks like he's using the Heartless or the darkness to take on this form"

Brain was running many solutions in his mind while examining their fight. He even noticed Lea was using defensive magic and running from Overblot Idia. Overblot Idia didn't even hesitate to cast his magic.

"Yes! My big brother has Overblot!" Ortho exclaimed as he hovered at Brain's side and summoned a few blue, digital screens to display the results before staring at his big brother, "Huh! That is strange!"

Brain was captivated by the data screens and even tapped one to see the results of Idia's Overblot. He read the data curiously and discovered that this magical energy Overblot Idia was producing was his own. This fascinated Brain who realized that Idia could use this form for a limited time.

"But he doesn't have a phantom" Ortho said perplexed as he wondered why this was the case.

"What does the phantom do?" Brain asked as he pulled an image of Overblot Idia with a dark creature behind him.

"A Phantom appears behind the host and drains the user of their magic to the point where they will lose themselves to it. Once the user is completely drained of their magic, they will die and the Phantom takes over completely" Ortho explained as he pointed at his big brother, "But for some reason, there is no Phantom"

Brain hummed at that and closed his eyes. He and Lea recognized that Idia had a striking resemblance to Hades. Hades can command the Heartless and has brought living beings back from the dead to have them fight. Brain only met Idia, but he realized Idia wasn't must of a fighter. If Idia does have a connection to Hades, perhaps this was the darkness helping Idia in some form.

"That happens in your world, correct?" Brain asked as he opened his eyes and nodded to himself.

"Yes" Ortho said before he understood what Brain was implying, "Because we are in a different world, the effects are different?! That could explain why big brother seemingly transformed into this form without any issue!"

"That is what I was thinking, but I also have another theory. Regardless, I don't think your big brother realized he did transform into this form" Brain concluded, "This means he should be in control. My only worry is that the darkness might overwhelm him. He hasn't done this before"

"So, we still need to snap some sense back into him!" Ortho said determinedly.

"That is correct" Brain finished, "I believe he still has control over his mind. He triggered this form because he believed you were in danger. With this logic, you need to inform him that you are not in danger"

"I can do that!" Ortho said determinedly before they saw Overblot Idia unleash another wave of dark fire to slam Lea straight into the colosseum's floor, "But are you going to be ok?"

"He'll be fine" Brain reassured with a wave of his hand, "Now, come on!"

Ortho followed the Dandelion member as Lea groaned while trying to sit up from the rubble. His keyblade disappeared as he sighed when Overblot Idia was hovering before him. He held a disappointed expression with his left hand at his side while the right one was holding his face.

"Really? That's it? You weren't even minor boss level" Oveblot Idia mocked while he let fire gather to his left hand, "Well, time to take it to sudden death"

Lea rolled his eyes before replying, "I'll have you know, I fail with style, lord of the dead. Also, you didn't think of everything, obviously"

Overblot Idia was surprised until Brain landed before Lea while holding Master Defender right in front of him. Overblot Idia's eyes were wide as he recognized the blade.

"Wait, what?! How do you have that?! I thought Master Aqua had it! Hey, spoilers!" Overblot Idia complained as Brain chuckled.

Just as he predicted, Idia was in complete control of his Overblot. Ortho was relieved as he flew to his big brother's side.

"I know you do not like spoilers, but I am so happy you're ok, big brother!" Ortho exclaimed in relief.

"Ok? Why wouldn't I be ok?" Overblot Idia asked confused until Ortho gestured to his figure.

Overblot Idia looked at himself in awe and horror. He let out a scream at his appearance. He checked himself again and was in a state of horror.

"So, this is not something you normally do?" Lea asked as he sat up with a grin on his face.

"No! I shouldn't be able to do this! I should be losing my mind and magic!" Overblot Idia explained before turning to Ortho, "Ortho! Scan me! This is both fascinating and horrifying! It feels like I achieved a super form! Like Sonic!"

"How is it you know Sonic, but you have no clue who I am?" Brain asked a little hurt and insulted.

The Shroud Brothers turned to the keyblade wielders before shouting in utter disbelief, "SONIC THE HEDGEHOG IS REAL?!"

Brain groaned as Lea simply laughed at their reactions.

"Wait a minute, how do you know Sonic?" Ortho asked confused, "To my knowledge, you've never met him"

"Oh, we didn't. Sora did! He was invited to this insane, cosmic, ultimate tournament!" Lea answered simply.

Ortho wondered what tournament that could've been as Overblot Idia's eyes were wide.

"Again, spoiler, but SORA GOT INTO SMASH BROTHERS?!" Overblot Idia exclaimed before hiding his face in his hands and wailing in delight at the news while also annoyed being spoiled.

Lea only laughed louder as Brain sighed in relief. Idia wasn't a threat, but the darkness he gave off is a tremendous amount. Brain hoped Idia could handle it, but he knew it would be best if Idia powered down before anything else happened.

"Well, I don't think we are enemies anymore" Brain said in relief before explaining the rest of his plan, "So, how about you power down? Lea and I will take you to Radiant Garden. From there, we will have a better idea of how to send you, your little brother, and the others home"

Ortho nodded his head in understanding as Overblot Idia held a blank expression before it changed to nervousness.

"What's up?" Lea asked as he still didn't bother to stand up.

"I don't know how to change back to myself" Overblot Idia answered unsure, "I was hit with three Thunderbolts and then beaten with magic to transform back into myself! I don't know how here!"

This worried everyone as Overblot Idia reached for his head and grunted in pain. Ortho was alarmed as Brain remained on guard.

"What's wrong, lord of the dead?" Lea asked with concern.

"So, there is a drawback into using this power" Overblot Idia stated as he gazed at his hands, "I am not from this world, so this means I am not used to controlling this much darkness. As a result, I am slowly being controlled by it"

"Ah! What can we do to help you?!" Ortho asked with worry.

"We could beat him up" Brain offered, rarely fine with the idea of violence.

Lea shook his head as he calmly approaching the trembling Overblot Idia who was holding his head and slowly floating away from them. He was struggling to contain this much power and not listening to the darkness, begging him to unleash his powers to smite those against him. Lea patted his pants and still approached Overblot Idia.

"Hey, Brain, you're good with creating light and using it to free us, right?" Lea asked simply while holding a calm expression at Overblot Idia.

Brain held the Master Defender in his hands and answered with a skeptical tone, "Yes, I can do that"

"Great!" Lea said as he summoned Flame Liberator to his hands and held a reassuring expression to Overblot Idia, "This will be different, but don't worry! Everything will be ok! Promise!"

Overblot Idia held a surprised and nervous expression at the keyblade wielder as he nodded in reply. Lea held the blade in front of him before taking a calm breath in. He then swung the keyblade behind him, spun it, and then lunged to point right at Overblot Idia's heart! A bright red and blue light burst from them as Brain rushed to pull Ortho behind him and stand in front of him. Once the lights faded, Lea and Overblot Idia were standing in front of them in a frozen manner.

"Ah! What happened to them?!" Ortho asked with concern.

"I wouldn't worry" Brain answered simply with a grin and tipping his hat up, "Lea's got a strong, caring heart. He's looking after your big brother and is with him right now. But if you're curious, he's in your big brother's heart, talking with him and making sure he's fine while I do this!"

Brain held Master Defender and thrusts the blade forward to gather light to the tip of it. Ortho watched in awe before turning to his frozen big brother and Lea. He wondered what they were discussing in Idia's heart.

"Woah!" Lea shouted as he found himself falling towards a bright, blue Station of Awakening before him.

He swung his feet forward to land on it and gaze at the station. He was in awe as he saw Idia's figure along with four faces to the left. One was Ortho with a dark shadow behind him, a priest who was a teenager, a male Maleficent, and another person. Lea leaned in to faces of the people and grinned.

"Well, looks like you've got quite the lineup of friends here!" Lea said warmly with his hands on his hips before glancing at Idia before his expression dropped.

He didn't expect to see Idia sulking and hugging his legs close to himself. He didn't bother to gaze at the people in his Station.

"I know those people are important in my heart" Idia commented, "Stations of Awakening reveal the innerworkings of the heart. This is mine, right? Figures as much that mine would be this"

Lea approached him before sitting right next to him. He glanced to Idia before looking at the faces.

"So, since you know Master Defender, do you know who I am?" Lea asked calmly as he gazed at the darkness around them.

"You're Lea, right?" Idia answered before gazing at their faces, "As far as I know, you sacrificed yourself to save Sora as Axel. I don't know how you're here now, but you are. Though, I think fate is playing a wonderful, cruel trick on a person like me. Should've known that I would encounter someone who could relate to someone as pathetic as me"

Lea was surprised to hear that with his eyes wide before gazing at Idia.

Then, Lea gazed away before holding a warm expression, "So, since you know all about me, why not share something about you with me?"

Idia gazed up and at the surrounding darkness. Screens and images appeared around themselves. Lea gazed at it and let out a "huh" before looking at it. He saw a young Idia happily playing with a young Ortho in a secure facility. They left the room as a young Idia hacked into the system and unintentionally released a terrifying experiment. The young Idia couldn't do anything as it charged at them. Lea's eyes were wide with horror as he gazed to see the monster attacking them before fading to black.

"No way" Lea whispered before turning to Idia who hugged his legs closer to him, "I understand what you mean"

The images and screens changed to show Lea as Axel. He was happily sitting with Roxas and Xion at the clock tower when the sun setting. They were enjoying Sea Salt Ice cream while watching the sun set and talking about their days. Another image displayed Isa and Skuld talking with him. The images and screens abruptly changed as Idia stared in a knowing expression.

"I think you know the rest, but I know you understand what that pain feels like" Lea said in an understanding tone.

One image had Isa as Saix who was coming after him. Saix effortlessly beat Axel up with simple strikes from his claymore. Then, another image displayed Lea and Isa losing Skuld to their foes. Then, Axel was fighting against Xion before winning and carrying her back to the Organization. He collapsed. Lastly, Axel was facing Roxas before clashing against him.

"I don't think that's bad" Lea said as he shook Idia out of their shared, dark thoughts, "Because we got better memories, friends, and lives we've always wanted. We also know what these feelings mean and represent. We can teach others what they should do and how to go about it too! So, I think everything will be ok. You're not alone, Idia, because I know you more than you realize"

Idia finally smiled as he closed his eyes. The screens and images changed to reveal himself standing up against Malleus and the priest. Although he was terrified at the times, he knew he had to do it.

"Didn't think a member of Organization 13 would be giving a pep talk to a student who respects Lord Hades" Idia confessed before turning to him, "But I can live with that. So, how long do we wait here?"

"Eh, not long. Brain's calculating like that" Lea said with a shrug and grin, "Besides, he can't wait to talk to you and your little brother. He's fascinated by you and your world"

Idia groaned but the grin was still there. Soon enough, a bright light slowly warmed around them. Sharing another confident expression, both returned to the world. Idia sighed in relief as he transformed back to himself. Though, he barely kept his balance until Ortho dove to embrace him! Idia grunted but he embraced his little brother warmly. Lea approached Brain who only grinned.

"Well, that's that" Brain said simply with Lea turning to the Shroud brothers, "So, you ready to come with us to Radiant Garden? I am sure we can find your world and send you back in no time!"

It was the mention of the world that caused the Shroud Brothers to jump and separate. Ortho hovered beside his big brother while Idia held his hands in fists and near his face in excitement.

"RADIANT GARDEN?!" Idia shouted excitedly while Ortho was in disbelief.

"Yep! My home! I'll give you a proper welcome! Hopefully, without it falling into darkness and all that" Lea said with a grin as Idia's eyes were wide with excitement.

Brain turned around to hold Master Defender to create a gateway as he said warmly, "And we are going there! No stops!"

He prepared to create it until he felt a familiar, magical energy building around them. He tipped his hat up and glanced over his shoulder to see a blue, ring of fire surrounding Idia's feet.

"Hey, Lord of the Dead, what's with the ring of fire?" Brain asked as his eyes darted to it and him.

Lea was surprised as he turned to see it with Ortho jumping in a surprised manner. Idia even let out an 'eep' at the sight of it.

"This isn't me!" Idia exclaimed until it opened a portal underneath him to take him away, "Aah!"

"Big brother!" Ortho shouted as he reached out to him only to miss and turn to the keyblade wielders, "What happened?! Where did my big brother go?!"

Brain sighed as Lea groaned. Both knew who this was.

"Don't worry" Brain reassured Ortho, "We know who did this"

"Yep! Hades, Lord of the actual Dead, did this" Lea said with a shake of his head, "Well, we better pay him a visit. He must have a reason for taking Idia"

"We're going to meet Hades?!" Ortho exclaimed as he followed them with a curious expression, "I am not entirely sure what to feel. He is one of the Great Seven, but he did take my big brother"

"You've played the games, right? He's caused a lot of trouble for us too, you know" Lea reminded as they walked out of the colosseum to taking the steps to reach the Underworld's entrance.

Ortho was surprised that the entrance to the Underworld was close to the Colosseum, but he knew that was the case in the game. Ortho was surprised to see how well their dorm resembled the Underworld! Technology wasn't present and there were no blue highlights in the area either. He saw the giant, black and bony gate. The river of Styx flowed through the Underworld and around the Underdome which is a tournament people could fight and compete in.

They approached the gate as Lea cupped his hands around his mouth, "Hey! Hades! Let's talk!"

"Oi, why are you Keyblade Wielders so loud and annoying? Have you ever heard of knocking? Revolutionary, I know" a sarcastic voice chided as he appeared in a puff of smoke.

Ortho gasped as he saw the Hades, Lord of the Dead, standing before them. The Lord of the Dead was wearing a black toga with pale, gray skin and flaming blue hair. He has golden eyes and an annoyed expression.

"You're Hades! You're real!" Ortho exclaimed as his eyes were wide in disbelief.

"And I believe you took Lord of the Dead jr., right?" Brain asked in a knowing tone as he bounced on his feet with his hat up.

Hades ran his hand over his face and snapped his fingers. A blue, flaming circle appeared at his side to open and drop a screaming Idia! He landed on his stomach and groaned as Ortho shouted his name and rushed to embrace his older brother, relieved he was ok.

"So, how did he get here?" Hades asked them with his arms crossed, "What did you or that kid do?"

If this was any other situation, Idia would be fanning over Hades, one of his personal heroes. However, seeing him annoyed and questioning the Keyblade Wielders made him worry. Brain was the first to step up and hold a grin.

"Ah, so you do know something! Care to share that information with us?" Brain asked in a knowing tone.

Hades held a deadpanned expression before pointing to the Shroud brothers, "Sure. That kid I took has a couple of powers that I worry about. The other one, not so much since there's no one like him in my world"

Lea glanced to Idia as he pondered on the powers with Brain holding a fascinated expression.

"So, he and his classmates cannot be here" Hades explained further, "They have similar powers to ours and could cause a bit of an issue in the balance of the worlds. Thought you "heroic Guardians of Light" would know this"

Lea scoffed with Brain contemplating. Idia held a contemplative expression with Ortho being tense.

Hades pointed to Idia who let out a yelp, "This kid's magic is something dangerous. If he wanted, he could release the souls of the dead and attack"

Brain's eyes were wide with interest while Lea let out a "huh".

Idia shook his head before scrambling to his feet to reassure everyone, "I have no plans of doing that. Even I know the dangerous of using my unique magic"

"Right, you do. What about the others?" Hades asked in a knowing tone as Idia whimpered at the idea of his fellow dorm leaders using theirs, "Exactly. Also, the more they stay here, the more trouble it will cause for the worlds. That form he took can release a tremendous amount of dark magic. Sure, it would be handy to get rid of those annoying obstacles, but even I, the Great Hades, know that the World Order needs to be kept"

Everyone was quiet at his explanation until Brain nodded his head.

"Yeah, yeah. We know. That's why we are going to send them home" Brain reassured him while lifting his hat up, "We'll take them to Radiant Garden and find a way home for them. It will be simple"

"Uh-huh, sure kid" Hades said as he rolled his eyes.

Brain turned around with Master Defender in his hands to wave the blade to create the gateway. Ortho examined it awe with Brain grinning at the humanoid. Both crossed through, leaving Lea and Idia to follow them.

"Hold it" Hades said as both turned to the Lord of the Dead who only gazed at Idia, "You and I will not be the same"

Idia was surprised by this as Lea asked, "What do you meant?"

Again, Hades didn't look at the fiery keyblade wielder and focused on Idia, "You're from a place that respects and learns from me and a few former colleagues of mine. That's fine. What is not fine is if you follow my exact steps and go down the same path"

Idia's eyes were wide with worry as he shook his head. In a sense, he already went down that path. He nearly ended the world just to be with his little brother. Lea noticed Idia was troubled, but Hades shook his head.

"You're you, kid" Hades said with a smirk, "And from what I have seen, you're going to do something astounding, not only in the Underworld. So, the next time we met, show me"

Idia was even more surprised to hear this. He didn't expect to receive praise from the Hades. As for Lea, he only grinned before leaning back and chuckling.

"Well, that's nice to know and take comfort in" Lea said warmly before taking a grand gesture to the gateway, "And now, we shall take our leave to join them. Ready, Idia?"

He jumped but he nodded his head. He didn't understand Hades' words, but he would take the advice for later. There must be a reason for it, after all. He gripped his right arm with his left hand to face Hades.

"Ah, thank you for your help, Lord Hades" Idia said with a bow and facing him, "I'll keep that in mind"

Hades waved his hand as he disappeared in smoke and with a smirk. Lea only grinned as Idia sighed before taking a cautious step through the gateway with Lea following him to arrive at a world filled with light and hope.
