*Takeru POV*

Its been a month since I was accepted to the leaf village and meeting Naruto, Sasuke, Kiba as well as Akamaru and Hinata, since then I was mostly walking around the village with Yamato learning more about the village and meeting more people and playing with Kiba and Akamaru when I see them. Today Yamato is going to take me to a field near the village.

"Hey Yamato" I called out to him in the other room

"Yes Takeru" Yamato replied

"Would it be ok if I get some things before we go to the field" I asked walking down the hallway

"Alright, go to the Hokage building when your done with what you need to do"

"Thanks Yamato, I'm off" I said exiting the building

~Time skip~

I decided to visit a little place to eat some dumplings before heading out to the hokage building to meet up with Yamato when I saw a boy my age with spiked brown hair with two red swirl markings on his cheeks wearing a green jacket, light green at the top and dark green at the bottom and green pants to match wearing blue sandals outside the store holding a bag.

"Hello" I greeted the boy

"Hello" The boy replied

"My names Takeru Masaru, whats your name?"

"Choji Akimichi, nice to meet you Takeru" Shoji answered

"Whats that in the bag?"

"I bought a few of the dumplings from here"

"I see seems like a lot, I actually came here for a few of them too"

"I wouldn't recommend getting them here, try the place on the other side of this area its got ones that are better" Choji exclaimed

"Thanks but I'll just grab ones from here" I said about to walk in the building

At that moment a staff member went to the front of the store with a sign that says they are out of dumplings, this caused me to sweat drop.

"Sorry man, but me and my other already bought all the food this place had"

"I see, I'd better go now I have somewhere to be, but thanks for recommending me some dumpling places Choji" I said rushing to the hokage building

"Bye Takeru" Choji called out waving

With that I'm closer to the hokage building, with dumplings in my possession after going to the place Choji recommended I go to the roof top of a building with a bench surrounded by a wooden house like foundation and I find someone lying there, it was a boy around my with black shoulder length hair tied in a spiky ponytail wearing a grey shirt with a yellow and red lined insignia in the middle and green shorts with a lazy expression on his face.

"What a drag" I heard the boy say looking towards the sky

"Whats wrong" I asked letting the boy know I was here

The boy stays lying there but seems to take notice of me.

"What are you doing up here?"

"Well I just got some dumplings and thought it would be nice to eat them here"

The boy sighed lazily.

"You mind if I eat here"

"It doesn't matter to me" He replied blatantly

"Thank you" I reply bowing

I take a spot under the wooden foundation and start to eat making conversation.

"My name is Takeru Masaru, whats yours?" I asked the boy

"Shikamaru Nara" The boy answered

"Nice to meet you Shikamaru"

"Same"

"So what did you find a drag, I heard you say something like that earlier?"

"Theres too much going on, I just wanna be like the clouds in the sky, not doing anything thats a bother" Shikamaru answered

"I see, well I'm new to the village so I don't know much about what goes on around here but I'm sure its all for good reason" I exclaimed

After giving that answer it was mostly silence for awhile with Shikamaru continuing to look up to the sky.

"Well I got to get going, I hope to see you again soon Shikamaru"

"Bye"

With that I left the building heading over to the place Yamato asked me to go. After I met up with him we were walking to the training grounds and on the way there we passed by a field of flowers and I saw a girl there.

"Hey Yamato you mind if I go see who's over there" I asked curious

"Sure just don't be too long for training" Yamato replied

"Right"

I get closer to see who it was and find a young girl my age with short blond hair with a blue clip on the right side bang of her hair wearing an orange short sleeved shirt with black lining and a deep red shaded pants with bandaging around the lower legs and green eyes picking flowers.

"Hmm, who's there" The girl asked

"Excuse me for interrupting your flower picking, I'm Takeru Masaru, I'm new to the village and as I was passing by I was wondering what your doing" I explained

"I see, well I'm Ino Yamanaka, its ok are you getting aquatinted to our village" Ino asked

"Yes I am, thank you for asking"

"No problem. What I was doing was picking flowers for my families flower shop"

"Your family runs a flower shop thats nice"

"I'm sorry to leave so soon, but I've got to train with my guardian" I said bowing

"Its fine, good luck with your training"

"Thanks" I said walking back to the training grounds Yamato was taking me to

I enter the gates of the grounds and prepared for what Yamato was going to have me do.

"Are you ready Takeru" Yamato asked to make sure I was prepared

"Yes Yamato" I replied

"Call me sensei during training"

"Ok sensei"

"Well then it has been a month since you have joined our village and at some point you will join the academy to learn to become a Genin ready to go on missions given to the village to protect the peace"

'A ninja ready to protect the peace' I thought

"Please Takeru, make our world one of peace"

'That voice again'

"Focus Takeru"

"I'm sorry Yamato"

"Back to my explanation, because of that I will be giving you basic training to get ready for the academy"

"Alright, I'll do my best to meet your standards"

"Good to hear it so now here's what you will be doing for your training" Yamato said grabbing a schedule

*Yamato POV*

"First I want you to learn Chakra control" I explained

"Chakra control?" Takeru replied confused

"To better explain Chakra control I'll explain what Chakra is from the basics"

"I'm ready to learn sensei"

"Chakra is energy that a ninja needs when he uses a Jutsu, it's made up of two energies; First is physical energy gathered together from each and every cell in the body and the second is spiritual energy accumulated based on numerous trainings and experiences. In other words, Jutsu wrings out and combines these two energies from within the body and this is called "combining the Chakra." Then Chakra is activated by forming hand "signs."

"I get it, so we all have Chakra"

"Yes that is correct"

"So what is "combining the Chakra."" Takeru asked

"Combining Chakra means picking up both the physical and spiritual energies and mixing them together within the body and of course the amount of each energy, the preparation of the energy changes based on the Jutsu you want to activate."

"So even if you combine a lot of Chakra, if you're not able to control it in a balanced way the effectiveness of the Jutsu not work right?" Takeru asked

"That is correct, you will learn to control your Chakra with your body"

"That sounds great, so sensei how will I be learning to control my Chakra"

"Tree climbing"

"Sensei, sorry if I'm being rude but I can't see how that would help with Chakra control"

"Its not simple tree climbing, you will do it without using your hands"

"How can I do that"

"I'll demonstrate it to you right now"'

"Alright sensei"

I do a hand sign and some sand beneath my feet forms a small cloud around my feet and then I walk over to a tree and walk up it until I'm hanging upside down on a branch. Seeing this Takeru was looking at me with stars in his eyes.

"Amazing, how did you do that sensei" Takeru said still having star shapes in his eyes

"All you need to do is focus the Chakra on the bottom of your feet and make them stick to the tree trunk. If you use Chakra well you can do things like this"

"Understood sensei"

"When you are able to climb the tree you will begin your next training exercise"

*Takeru POV*

'Alright time to do this' I thought

I make a hand sign like Yamato did and I focus on gathering my Chakra to the bottom of my feet.

'Focus...focus'

I could feel the energy gathering to the soles of my feet. I walked up to the trunk of the tree and started to walk up then I managed to make it to the top of the tree on the first try.

"Yamato I made it up the tree"

"Interesting...it seems you have a natural talent in Chakra control"

"Really"

"Yes, most don't get it on their first attempt because of the fact you need to accumulate the required amount of combined Chakra to the required spot, even most expert ninja find it difficult"

"Wow"

"Not only that gathering Chakra to the bottom of your feet is the most difficult, now onto your next training. You will practice using Shuriken and Kunai, aim for that podium over there" Yamato exclaimed pointing towards the podium in the middle of the training grounds

"Yes sensei"

I search through my bag to find the Kunai and Shuriken I bought in the village and turned towards the podium and started to throw some of the Shuriken's but ended up missing on the first 3 tries but the next 5 I threw hit either the inner parts of the target or in the center. When I did the same for Kunai I hit the inner area and center of the target on all 6 tries.

"Very good Takeru, now to finish todays lesson I will teach you about how summoning Jutsu's work"

"Summoning Jutsu?"

"The Summoning Jutsu is a space-time ninjutsu that allows the summoner to transport animals or people across long distances or dimensions instantly and uses blood as a sacrifice."

"That sounds cool"

"There are many types of things that you can summon with the Jutsu, these types are; animal summons, person summons, object summons things like weapons and statues or even books, puppet summons and spirit summons"

"Wow theres a lot of types of summonings" I said shocked

"We can summon these through the use of scrolls, its good to keep them on hand when your a ninja"

"I understand sensei"

"That is all for training today Takeru, be prepared for more training from now on"

"I will Yamato" I said bowing

With that we returned back to Yamato's home after I finished my training, it was not too strenuous today but I'm sure from now on I will learn more about being a ninja and someday I might remember everything about my past.
