Asher cut the engine on the truck and turned his head towards me. He grabbed ahold of my hand and gave it a light squeeze. "Babe, they'll love you. I promise." He comforted me and placed a kiss on.my temple.

I closed my eyes and took a couple breaths. When I opened my eyes I turned my head to Asher. "Alright, let's go in." I said, he smiled and got out of the car and quickly made his way to my side, opening the door for me.

"Thanks." I said. He gave me a kiss then grabbed my hand, intertwining our fingers.

We walked in the house and it was filled with people. Everyone seemed to stop their conversations to look over at us. They all bowed their heads in respect to their alpha, Asher, as me walked past them.

He led me through the people to the kitchen and then to the back doors. He slid them open and we walked into the back yard. There's even more people out here!

"Are you ready to meet my parents?" He asked, looking down at me with a worried expression. I smiled and nodded to reassure him. His facial expression quickly relaxed and he led me to the couple standing by the grill; his parents.

He cleared his throat before speaking. "Mom, dad. This is Katie, my mate." He introduced me. His mother was extremely beautiful. She had dark brown hair like Asher and crystal blue eyes. She was around my height. She a simple yellow sundress that complimented her olive toned skin. Asher was the spitting image of his father, minus the color of his eyes and hair. It was like looking at Asher, but an older version, but still handsome.

"Oh my goodness! I'm so glad to finally meet you dear!" Asher's mom engulfed me in a hug and I was a bit taken back at first but also hugged her back. When she pulled away there was a sweet smile on her face.

"Nice to meet you Mrs.?" I didn't know what to call her so I stood there awkwardly for a moment until she spoke again.

"Emma, call me Emma." She smiled. I nodded and also nodded.

"Nice to meet you, Katie. You can call me Bill." He smiled at me and I nodded again towards him.

"I'm going to give Katie a tour of the house." Asher said. Bill and Emma both hugged my one last time and then Asher grabbed my hand, taking me through the crowd of people and through the woods that were right next to the house.

"So?" He gestured his hand for me to tell him what I thought.

"I like them." I told him. He smiled and wrapped his arms around me and kissed me. The kiss was sweet and light.

"They loved you." He gave me one final kiss on my lips and then a small peck on my nose. I sighed in relief.

"Thank God." I muttered. He chuckled and then grabbed ahold of my hand to take me back to the party.

Asher pulled me on to the top part of the deck and coughed, catching everyone's attention. They all quieted down and faced us. "Thank you all for coming today. Some of you may have noticed that I have found my mate." He put his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him. All eyes were on me.

"I'd like to introduce you to Katie, my mate and your Luna." They all bowed in respect and I waved with a shy smile.

After the introduction, Asher walked around the crowd of people with us hand in hand.

He stopped and was in front of two twin boys that looked no older than 18. "Katie, these are my cousins Drew and Mark." Asher first pointed to Drew then Mark, they looked the exact same except for Drew had blue eyes and Mark had brown.

"Nice to meet you." I stuck my hand out to shake theirs but Asher pulled it back and growled lowly. I rolled my eyes and smiled at them.

"Nice to meet you Luna." Drew bowed his head. 

"Oh, just call me Katie." I said. He nodded and proceeded to talk with Asher about something.

I wasn't really listening; I just looked over the crowd of people until I locked eyes with Brandon. He had the balls to show up. 

"Asher." I patted his shoulder, he quickly faced me, all I did was point to Brandon and he snarled and his grip on my tightened.  

"How dare you show up here?" Asher said in his 'alpha' voice. Even though Brandon was twenty feet away, he could still hear him.

Brandon walked up to him and I and stopped when he was only five feet away. "I told you this; I cannot come back empty handed." Brandon said to Asher as if it was obvious. 

"You nor anyone will be taking my mate. You also won't be making it alive out of her." Asher told him. At this point everyone was frozen in their spots, watching what was going on.

"What's going on here?" Bill said from behind me. He was now next to Asher, glaring at Brandon. 

"Seems like this one doesn't understand that he can't have my mate." Asher growled out.  

"If you kill me it won't matter. The others in our will come for her." Brandon said our, referring to his and I's. 

"I am no longer in that pack dumbass." I sourly replied. Drew chuckled at my choice of words and I couldn't help but smirk slightly.

We stood there in silence for moment. Asher staring daggers at Brandon. "Why do you want Katie?" Bill asked. 

"She belongs to our next alpha, Mark." Brandon replied. I rolled my eyes and scoffed. 

"Hell I do! That maniac needs to get the stick out of his ass and realize that I'm not his mate!" I shouted at him.  

'Babe, I love the choice of words, but my dad is around...' Asher said through our mind link. 

'Who gives a shit? You don't know how long I've had to deal with this Mark guy.' I replied. He growled out loud. 

"Peter, Liam, take Brandon to the cell." Asher ordered. They obeyed and they each grabbed Brandon's arms harshly and walked away with him. 

"Everyone, go back to your homes. We're done here for today." Asher said. They all got their stuff and headed out.

We said our final goodbyes to his parents and went back home.
