     I was so happy cause it was Cody's birthday today. It was already 5:30pm and the birthday was to start in an hour.
I was excited and nervous at the same time. I hurriedly got dressed and applied my makeup. I heard the doorbell and ran downstairs. I opened the door and saw my friends. Hi guys come in, I said. They all came in. Aren't you ready were running late, said Layne. Give me a sec. I hurried upstairs grabbed my phone and bag, wore my shoes and came downstairs. Now am ready,I said. Mom we are going. Darling can't you wait for a little while your aunt Camille and cousin Isha are on their way and will soon be here. They would love to see you, my mom said. Mom am already running late but say hi to them for me, I said. Okay if you insist bye have fun, mom said. We will, we said. We arrived at the party on time. I was with my friends when Cody Came to meet us. Hi, cool party, I said. Thanks you look gorgeous 😍, he said. Thanks,I said while blushing. Do you wanna stroll round the party, he asked. Sure I said. We strolled and talked till we got to the roof. Cody there's something I want to tell you,I said. Go on, he said. I have a huge crush on you. I have been keeping it to myself, I said. I know I over heard Allison telling penny, he said. So you knew all this while now I feel like a fool, I said. No you shouldn't he said while holding my waist. He pressed his lip on mine and we kissed. Don't you wanna dance, he asked. No dancing isn't really my thing,I said. Please its my birthday, he said. Okay, I said. We danced all night long. It was one of the best parties I ever attended
