If This is the End

Not knowing where to start to look for the little rascals, Sven shut the door with a grunt. He couldn't imagine leaving his two clients while he had to look for his children who probably forgot what time it was. Putting on his brimmed straw hat, he looked up at the sky as the sun was setting. He had to agree with Lynette that it was almost dusk and why the kids weren't home yet was certainly a mystery.

Yet his mind was on his clients, Mr. and Mrs. Sinclair, who were a couple who stated that they came from abroad. They both wore exotic attire indicating that they were not from the States. The couple were interested in buying the cabin once the Kincaids moved out and offered him a good price. That's what Sven looked forward to doing all day, but now it had to be postponed.

Watching this play down, Mother Nature was shocked. Her intention was not for Death to consume the children, but to just scare them for the fun of it. Their father was her main target for he was the hunter who shot her furry friends and made them into stuffed trophies inside his cabin for all to see.

Thus, when she heard that Sven was sent to rescue his children, she sent him clues amongst the pathways that lured Stephen to discover Paranormal Cirque.

Causing the forest ground to shake, Sven held on to a tree hoping it was sturdy enough to hold his weight. It was a "breathing ground" opening up, Mother Nature's form of communication, where the soil got drenched by the nearby creek as the water splashed thunderously, loosening the grip on tree roots, all while winds swayed the treetops.

Sven couldn't understand why this happened, but had an inkling it was a pathway he should follow since after he walked forward, the ground stood still.

The pebbles littered across the creek were scattered in a direction toward a pair of shrubs hidden within the woods. Mr. Kincaid was flabbergasted when he saw this as it appeared as if someone placed them there for a reason.

Looking up toward the sky, he bowed and prayed. "Thank you Mother Nature for helping me find my children."

It was a crazy thought, but Sven knew he had to take a shot.

BACK IN THE HOUSE OF MIRRORS

Screaming at the top of her lungs, Seraphina scared the living daylights of the Grim Reaper. How she was able to see him under his masked appearance was something he needed to figure out. The Grim Reaper knew he could go incognito when he wanted to, but it appeared the youngest child could figure him out.

Tapping Stephen's shoulder, Jaime startled his brother.

"Told you we should get out of here ... and fast!"

Running as quickly as they could out of the maze, the three held on to each other until they bumped into three spirits waiting for them. With arms folded the apparitions laughed cold heartedly before a voice spoke behind them.

"They are waiting to claim your souls, my dears. They will be your doppelganger. They've been waiting to return to Earth and you three can come with me!" The dark voice behind them belonged to the Grim Reaper who laughed hauntedly.

Seraphina's screams amplified around the empty lot, and Sven heard it. Knowing it belonged to his daughter, he ran towards the House of Mirrors to save her. But it was too late.
