It was the next day and jungkook was excitedly getting ready while humming a song.

Hoseok have him side eyes while sitting on a sofa. "Why are you getting ready? Are we going somewhere?"

Jungkook threw him a disgusting look "eww noo it's just me who is going, you are going to stay here"

"NOOO WAYYYYY"

"STOP SHOUTING HORSEEEEE"

"I'LL COMPLAIN ABOUT YOU, YOU CRAPPY, DISGUSTING BUNNYYYYY"

"GO AHEAD, HYUNG WILL ONLY SCOLD YOU CAUSE HE DOESN'T SCOLDS ME" jungkook said and showed hoseok his tongue teasingly and left from there.

Hoseok cursed him "that's okay, I can have a date with my Hamburger and sprite" he said while beaming like a sunshine.

Jungkook entered the cafe while humming and just like yesterday, a bell chimed again.

"W-Welcome m-mister" jungkook glanced at the owner of this voice and ahhh the peace he felt after looking at the beautiful boy.

Having a possibility of Taehyung being his mate was making him feel giddy.

"Hey taetae" he said and smiled at him but Taehyung didn't as he remembered what his boss said yesterday. He couldn't even greet this handsome mister now.

He pouted and came with the menu. "W-What w-would y-you h-have?" He asked but jungkook was busy staring at him.

He again booped jungkook's nose. "Ahh sorry umn I'll have the banana milk and strawberry cake".

Taehyung's eyes lit up in the name of a strawberry cake which didn't get unnoticed.

Taehyung licked his lips while imagining a strawberry cake, his mouth watering only at the imagination.

Jungkook laughed out loudly at the cute expression. "Do you like strawberry cake?" He asked and Taehyung nodded while pouting.

"Then how about i give you a treat? And instead you go out with me?" Taehyung looked at him with his Bambi eyes.

"G-go o-out, w-where?" He asked and jungkook cursed when he understood that Taehyung doesn't even know the meaning of going out.

"Umn like a picnic?" He said

Taehyung pouted and shook his head. He has to go to his house and look after his grandma.

Jungkook looked at him sadly and before he could go, Taehyung dashed away from there in a hurry. He looked in the direction and saw Taehyung again going inside the staff room.

"Heh?"

While Taehyung trembled in front of his boss. "Did you get the orders?" A girl about in his early 20s asked him

He looked up at her and then his boss. "Y-yesh, Nana m-milky and staw-berry cakey"

"Fucking wimp, can't even talk properly " His eyes teared up as his boss said no-no words to him again.

He sniffed. That girl looked at him in pity and handed him the orders.

He came to jungkook and just placed the food on the table. Bowed before going out of there not even letting jungkook say something, he is afraid that if his boss sees him talking to customers again then he will get beaten again.

Jungkook stared at him in confusion.

Jungkook was again in the cafe, it has become his daily routine for four days. Coming to this cafe once in a day is compulsory for him now but what got him confused is Taehyung doesn't talk to him now.

Whenever Jungkook tries to talk to him, he will panic and look around as if someone will see him talking to him.

But today jungkook was determined to talk, he was sitting in this cafe for 10 minutes but no one came to take him order. He glanced at the staff room for nineteenth time and finally a girl staff came out of there, directly to his table.

"Good evening sir, what would you like to have?" She said and passed him the menu, he looked at her in confusion.

"Umm banana milk and any pastry?" That girl wrote it down before turning around to go but Jungkook called her.

"Um Taehyung is not here?" He asked.

That girl knew that he is taehyung's friend so she just shook her head "no sir" she said politely and left.

Maybe he had something to do that's why he didn't come?

He reassured himself and started eating his food.

I'll come tomorrow then.

3 days.

It's been 3 days since jungkook is coming everyday to this cafe but Taehyung is not here.

He tried to ask the female staff about him but she never answered.

He was getting worried day by day. Why isn't Taehyung not coming to the cafe? Is he sick? Did something happen to him?!

Worries were eating him alive, and the only thing he did was to share his worries with his hyung.

Today was the weekend and jungkook was supposed to go back to Toronto today but he declined it.

"I am not going back until I meet Taehyung"

That was his words to his hyung, and jeongguk agreed. He himself was worried about that boy.

Jungkook was going to the cafe daily but still no news of Taehyung.

He sighed defeated and came out of the cafe again. Taehyung was not here today either.

He decided to roam around the area, he remembered the playground behind this cafe, he saw kids playing there once.

He made his way there. The weather was pleasant today, a little cloudy with cool breezes.

His eyes roamed here and there as he sat on one of the benches. His mind is again travelling to Taehyung.

About half an hour later he stood up to come to his hotel. He was passing from the valley that was behind the cafe but a little whimpers and shouting drew his attention.

He decided to check there, what if some person is in need of help?

As he came closer, a familiar scent invaded his nose which only made him terrified.

No it couldn't be him right?

But alas it was really Taehyung, laying on the ground while a man was above him, shouting and beating him. Throwing punches and kicks on him.

Jungkook was confused, scared and angry.

He did the only thing which came to his mind.

His eyes flashed red as He ran towards that man in rage, pushing him on the ground, hard. That man was drunk. He straddled that man and threw punches over punches. His strong angry scent got mixed in the air.

"HOW DARE YOU TOUCH HIM!? HOW DARE YOU" he screamed in his alpha voice with red eyes. He continued punching and kicking him until he heard small sobs and whimpers.

He forgot about the man who already passed out after receiving those hard punches.

He came to Taehyung and put his head on his lap. "Taehyung? Shh stop crying okay? You are safe with me bun" Taehyung opened his ocean blue eyes slightly, looking so vulnerable.

Jungkook pulled him in his lap as Taehyung fisted his shirt tightly in his small fist and buried his face in his neck, he hungrily inhaled the protective scent while uncontrollable sobs fell out of his lips.

Jungkook was so worried that he didn't even notice the blue Iris.

"Shh baby, I'm here okay. Stop crying bun, my little angel. You are safe with me, no one will harm you now okay? You are safe in my arms" jungkook comforted Taehyung while rubbing his back with one hand and stroking his hair with the other.

He felt Taehyung's body going limp. He looked at him and saw him pass out.

"Hyung, what should I do? I can't leave him here, I don't think he has anyone here" jungkook said worriedly while looking at Taehyung who was sleeping for the past 4 hours in his hotel room.

The first thing he did after taehyung passed out on his arms was to bring him to his hotel room and call a doctor.

The second thing he did was to report that man who was beating Taehyung, to police.

Hoseok was here too, looking at Taehyung in pity.

Jungkook was worried as hell.

"He isn't healthy, he has malnutrition, he needs to eat a lot of healthy food and He is lacking sleep"

That was the doctor's words, and now jungkook was worried about Taehyung a lot. Sharing his worries with his brother and making him worry too.

"Um if h-he doesn't have anyone then why not ask him to live with you? And there is a possibility of him being your mate" Jeongguk suggested him.

He smiled widely at this "wow hyung you are so genius, it's a good idea, once he woke up, I'll ask him to live with me, I'll take him to Toronto with me"
