"I don't have time for a bunch of pesky little rodents like you. What do you want from me"? The man said, spitting as he spoke.
"I told you, we want the wolf. And don't tell me you don't recognise her". Robin nodded towards me.
The man's eyes widened in recognition. "Ah, so it's you again. I'm sorry, but rules are rules". He smirked. "Once a Tamer catches an animal, it belongs to the Tamer until he sells it". He smiled, revealing only two teeth which were rotting in his mouth.
A second later, the man was punched in the face by Robin, and was thrown off his horse.
Er...How...Um, OK, then.
Robin grabbed the key which was dangling from the man's belt, as the man lay on the floor, his face in his hands.
"To hell with the stupid rules". He said, before unlocking the carriage and flinging the door open.
"That's one way to do things". I said, before climbing up to the carriage. I heard Aladdin sigh loudly behind me before following.
I searched the cages. There were so many unusual animals in there.
Two headed parrots, giant spiders the size of Robin's head ( I almost fainted at that one), these weird bear like things, and some others. But there was no Stormy.
Behind us, I heard the idiotic man cackle, madly. "You foolish children". He said, his eyes wild. "Did you really think I'd make it that easy for you to get your stupid dog back? Of course, I knew you'd come after me". He grinned, and I noticed foam spilling out of his mouth.
I scrunched my nose in disgust. What WAS he?
"Where is he"? Robin jumped down, and stood over him. He grabbed him by his dirty collar.
"Sold 'im as soon as I captured 'im this morning. nothing you can do about..."
Robin punched him again, and I heard the sound of a bone breaking.
Wow. He broke his nose.
The man screamed in pain, and Aladdin jumped down next to Robin, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Stop. That's enough, Robin. He can't tell us anything if he's out".
Robin snorted. "He'd better hurry and speak up, then, isn't it"?
"I'm not telling you anything". The man said.
"Dude, you have a death wish or what"? I asked. Normally, I would feel bad for him.
But he stole Stormy and he has to face the consequences.
Robin threw him back onto the ground, and took the bow from his back.
"Wait! Wait! STOP! I'll tell you, I swear! Just don't kill me, I still haven't counted my savings"! The man yelled.
"What an idiot". Robin muttered.
"I sold your stupid canine to a swordsman, alright? 'e said 'e needed a tracker to kill someone".
"Where was he heading"? Aladdin asked.
"'e was a traveller, I think...never seen the likes of 'im before, so I asked a few questions. The guy said he was travelling to the Urchin Kingdom...really stupid of 'im, but 'e was loaded so I sold the wolf. Happy now"?
"No. What did he look like"? Robin asked
"Short, with hair that looked like it had seen war. E had this strange weapon with Im. Said it was a camera or something like that. That's all I can tell ya".
My eyes widened.
It couldn't be.
"Hey, creep", I said, and they all turned to me,"Did this guy have freckles and grey eyes"?
"Yeah. You know 'im"?
"I do". I said, my eyes widening.
"Well spill. Who is it"? Robin asked.
"He's one of my friends...Mac".
