"Bye mom." I told her, exiting the house. I looked around seeing no one in sight. I went in the woods and dashed to school.

I walked to the front of the school, walking inside, ignoring the strange looks.

I walked to my locker, which luckily was in the first building. I did what I had to do, take my books out, put books in.

"Hey Rose."

I closed my bag and locker then turned around to meet Mason. "Hey Mason." I gave a small smile.

"Sorry about yesterday. I hope this isn't too awkward for you that I'm a werewolf." he apologized. 

I shook my head, "I-" he interrupted me.

"Have you told Mark? Your mom?" he asked worriedly, "Are you transferring?" I shook my head, "Mark is the least of anyone's problems and I'm fine. I didn't tell anyone so don't worry." I chuckled. 

"And I'm especially not transferring."

He sighed in relief. "Good." I smirked. "Are you gonna miss me when I'm gone?" I sang the question. 

He smiled and nodded, "I will, I feel very protective of you." he replied. 

I watched him oddly. "You've only known me for a day." "It seems like I've known you for forever and so far I like you." he told me.

I slowly nodded. The bell rang. "Oh well gotta go." I said ready to leave.

"Wait! What do you have now?" he asked. "PE." I replied. "Please don't say you're in my class." His famous smirk played on his lips. "Oh but I am." I groaned. 

"We have 10 minutes to change so we best hurry to the second building where the locker rooms are." he told me.

"You're the new girl Mason's always hanging around aren't you?" a girl in the locker room asked me.

I slowly nodded. 

"He must've already told you about everyone in the school being a werewolf." she continued. I again nodded, not seeing where she was going with this.

"Good. Now you better watch him imprinting on you, especially after all my hard work to get him to imprint on me or me to imprint on him. she sassed.

"What the hell is imprinting?" I asked in annoyance.

We literally have like 3 minutes to get to class which is a far walk. "Of course a petty human wouldn't know." she scoffed.

I rolled my eyes, "Forgive my pettiness."

"Imprinting is when a werewolf just sees a person for the first time and knows that's who they'll be with until they die."

"You said it's at first sight right?" I questioned. She nodded. "So why are you the retard to think he'll still imprint on you if he's seen you a million times." I retorted.

The other girls laughed. She and her group gasped and walked out of the locker room.

I smirked, following them out.

"Hey Scarlet!" I heard a voice behind me. I looked behind me to see, I think Sofia is her name. "Hey Sofia?"  I stated but it came out like a question.

She shook her head, "Sofie. People call me Sofia, I don't get why just take off the 'a' and put an 'e' and there you go Sofie." she told me.

I nodded, o..kay, she's weird. 

"Right anyway, I liked how you handled Lily." she complimented.  "Thanks." she smiled, I gave a real smile back.

"Let me add to what Lily said about imprinting. Though it's when a werewolf sees someone for the first time, sometimes, rarely though, they could imprint on someone else." 

I nodded, "Oh." She smiled, "Well we best get to PE." 

We could probably make good friends.
