TAROT CARDS READING

It's hard to admit it but the tea was good.Alice relaxed a bit after she took a sip from her tea.At first she was scared because Sister Gilda might poisoned it but she pushed the thought elsewhere and just drink it.The rest of the kids in the room were enjoying themselves with some cookies that were baked by Sister herself.Charles,Donny and Caesar were chatting with Sister Gilda while Ben simply observed them all.

Sister Gilda then seems to remembered something as she then stood up from her seat and moved to her trunks which were on top on the bed.All of the kids were clueless on Sister's sudden action.She then took out a small box and returned back to the table.She opened the box and pull out the contents in it.It was a deck of card.Tarot cards.

"Well have you guys heard about tarot cards before.?"

"Uh uh....I've read about it before.People used it for divination right Sister.?"Puspa said

"Well indeed they are.Some people used tarot to 'look into the future'but several other people used it as a tool to allowed the hidden voice of the self speak.It helps you to tell your story.So now who wants me to read their tarot cards.?"everyone was silent when Sister asked them the question.Charles shrugged at the statement.

"Well don't tell me that you believe in this tarot cards Sister."he asked as he disbelief in that 'mystique supernatural things'.

"As the matter of fact,yeah I believed in it.Now since you're the one who talked,I'd say let's read yours then."

"Seems like you're in grave danger my friend."Ben said to him as Donny and Caesar simply laugh at Charles reaction when Sister decided to read his Tarot cards.

Sister Gilda shuffled the cards many times and the girls were fascinated with her shuffling skills.Charles was fidgeting his right leg while listening to Ben and Caesar's conversations.

"What else do you know about tarots Ben.?"

"Hummm....well there are major arcana and minor arcana.Major arcana consist with 22 different cards while the minor arcana consist 56 cards.So subtotal for the entire deck is 78 cards."

"Woah that's to lot for a deck of card.And what more interesting is that they all have different meaning right.?"

"Indeed they are.Well major arcana often been refers as the fool's journey while the minor arcana something about our daily life I guessed."

"Well what I understand about tarot is that its a bunch of crap and its pointless."Charles said it to both of them and then Puspa intrupted him by saying,

"don't say it like that Charles.You might offense Sister Gilda."

"No its okay Puspa dear.Many people find that tarot card is a bunch of crap like Charles said before but its not wrong to believe in it right."Alice and Carol nodded at her.Actually,the both of them started to felt more anxious when they listened to Sister Gilda's statement,'Look into the future'.

Alice told Carol her theory that Sister Gilda is not looking into the future but simply writing their fate after knowing the truth about the house.Carol kinda agreed with her.

Sister Gilda then placed three cards onto the table while the rest of the deck she gave it to Donny to hold it for a while.She then turn each cards and all of the kids looked at it with full concentrations.

"Hey Ben,why is that one upside down.?"Caesar asked him when he saw one of the card was upside down.

"Well based on what I remembered,sometimes that person will get an upside down card.Well upside down card means reversal.Like examples positivy reversal with negativity."

"Ohhhhh I see."

"Well,well,well Charles.Like Ben said earlier,you're really are in grave danger."She said to Charles with a smirk on her face.Alice and Carol were so scared until they started to shacking but they tried their hard to hide it before anyone could noticed it.Charles shook his head and cleared his throat before saying,

"Well,please explain to me."he tried his best to be polite even it was obvious he wants to explode.

"We only used major arcana cards actually.Here,you got the fool's which mean innocence,New beginnings and free spirit.New beginnings huh,I wonder what it is.?"

Ben,Alice and Carol could felt chills running down their spines.It's a bad news to them as Charles might be targeted by Sister.She then continued to the second card.

"Hum,here you got the tower which means pride and disasters."

"Well I do find pride in myself every time I beats Ben but disaster,Na ah no such thing as disaster here.Mama always take a good care on her kids."Charles said confidently even though his hands were shacking but Sister didn't realized it as she continue inspecting the last card.Alice looked at Charles and she gave him a reassuring smiled and with that Charles calm down a bit.Carol then stood next to Charles as she then hold his hand.Charles was blushing a bit but most of all,it calmed him down even more.He felt saved when he's with her.

"Your last card is a reversal card Charles.it's a reversal Sun which means negativity,depression and sadness.Ohh wow,this is going to be bad for you,Charles."She gave him a pitying smile.

Ben put his right hand on Charles's shoulder,trying to support him.Alice clear her throat before speaking,

"Whatever happen to him must have some logical explanations and I'm pretty sure we will be with him all the time to avoid those bad things from happening to him."She said as she then smiled at Sister Gilda.

TING,TING,TING,TING,TING

They were busy with the tarot cards reading until they all lost track on time.

"Ara,ara.Look at the time.Well it's good spending time with all of you.Now head to beds my sweet little children.Pip pip.

She then took the rest of the deck from Donny and put it back in the box and she took every single cups and place it on the tray as everyone started to left the room.Each and every single one of them wish Sister Gilda good night before heading to bed.Alice was the last one to left as she wish her goodnight and closed the door,proceeding to beds afterwards.
