UNEXPECTED REUNION

[Somewhere in the demon world]

*knock knock*

The office door was knocked from the outside.It seems that the hunters were back from the hunting.

"Come in."a man voice demanded.Thus,the door was opened and a middle age man proceeded to enter along with two demons as his bodyguards.

"Status?"the man asked.The middle age man pulled out a device from his travelling backpack and place it on the table.It was a tablet where there were several icons with an 'x' marks on each of the icon.

"Our 'little pets' died during the search for the escapees.Plus,Goldy Pond is out of order for now.That place was blew up when we arrived there.Nothing survive the explosion.We also found all of the poacher's dead bodies there,Mr Ratri."he explained to his superior.

"And the good news?I know there must be some good news."Mr Ratri said.

"We managed to discovered the shelter,sir.The shelter that was once belong to James Ratri.It was empty by the time we arrived there.Seems like those escapees including the GP residents are taking extra precautions steps to avoid being capture.They won't be far as we are able to trace them.Sooner or later,They'll be capture in no time."he said.Mr Ratri smiled widely upon hear in the news.

"Splendid.I praise you and your squad,Andrew.Now,if you don't mind I want you to start the search for the...."but before he could finished,a women knocked the office door.He asked her to enter the room and so she did.

The women was a middle age and well known among the demons society along with fellow Sister's and Mama's.She was once a caretaker back in her time and was a successful one too.

"Ha,Isabella.Good to see you again."Mr Ratri said."What bussines do I have with you today.I thought I'll be meeting you next week."he continued.Andrew moved to the side a little as Isabella approached Mr Ratri's table.He just stood there while listening to both of their conversations.

"With due respect Sir,caretaker 63194,Sister Emma is ready for the interrogation sessions,Sir."Isabella said.Mr Ratri snapped his finger after that as he remembered the thing that he once forgotten.

"Of course.How could I forgot about that.Well,maybe because of the unfinished bussines between you and me."He said.

He smirked from ear to ear.Isabella just rolled her eyes.Andrew,who was listening to the conversations,was getting more awkward as time passed by.

"If that so,then I am so sorry that we will have to end our previous discussion here,Andrew."Andrew just nod his head at his superrior.Mr Ratri then leave the room with Grandma Isabella by his side.

"Inform the rest of the hunters.We will be continuing our search for the escapees.After all,that's what I believe Mr Ratri wants us to do."Andrew instructed his bodyguards.Next,they leave the room except Andrew who stood there while examined the tablet screen.

Emma was sitting in the interrogation room alone.The past 3 months had been rough time for her.Since Alice and several other kids managed to escaped the farm,she had been demoted rank from Mama to Sister.The Tiffary clan had planned to public execute her as a reminder to others but thanks to Grandma Isabella,she had been spared.

Still,the Tifarry along with Mr Ratri demanded more explanations and so they decide that Emma would have to be interogated at the time given.Emma,who started to get a little sleepy as she awaits for the arrival of Mr Ratri and Grandma Isabelle started to zoned out and started to remembering all of her sins that she committed in her life span.

'Giving up on my siblings.Killing Gilda with my bare hands.Lied to those sweet children even my own daughter about the house.Ohhh what a terrible person I am'She thought to herself until suddenly,

"Emma."a voice filled the room.In a quick motion,she turned her face but then a bright light blinded her.She tried covering her eyes with her left hand to reduce the brightness.

"Emma."The voice called for her again.This time,she was shocked.The voice was very recognisable.She slowly turned to her side and was awestruck when she saw "Him" standing in front of her.

"It can't be."Emma mumbled to herself but he could hear it as well.He gave her a sincere smile which drained the colour from her face.

"No....."She stutter as she was about to say the name.He just looked at her.

"Nor......."again,she stutter.It was like there was a force that unable her to speak the name.

"Nor....urghhh..Norman!!!!!"she said as she finally managed to.He nod his head at her and thus,tears started to fell like a waterfall for her.

"It's been a while huh."Norman said.Emma,who was still crying sobbed a little and can't find the urge to speak.So,she just nod her head at him rapidly.

"Seems like you're in a good shape.You manage to survive this long.What would the rest of our sibling say to you,I wonder."he said.

"Anyway,I would like to tell you something.Something important...."but then she find the urge to speak."Where...are..we...???"She said while sobbing.Norman just smiled at her before he sighed.Still smiling,he answered the question.

"This is where the first promise was forge."he said.Emma's jaw dropped when she heard that.

"Yeah,this is the place Emma.This is where ¥#€ lives.This is where we promise to go once we escape from the farm long time ago.This is Nanatsunokabe,the seven walls."he said to her."No,no way.How?......and how are you here?How come you can interact with me like this?"Emma asked.

"¥#€ lend me some of his power.Well,just a fragment of it.And right now,our consciousness are connected.That's how I'm able to interact with you,here."

"I thought you're dead.Every night I mourns for you.I cried over you.Why?Why didn't you come and tell me a little bit earlier?Tell me that you're alive."

"Because I'm disappointed with you,Emma."was his answer.and thus,shutted Emma immediately.Her eyes were glittering.The words seems had stuck in her head as it kept ringing.

"Well,back to our main point.I just want to inform you that this whole thing won't end well."he said but Emma seems had lost in her own thoughts as she just stood there without making any movements.Norman stared at her move less body.

"Emma."he said once yet he got no response.

"Emma...."he said twice but the result was the same as earlier.She neither move nor speak.

"Emma!!!"Norman said for the third time.This time a little bit louder then previous but she remains the same.She had lost in her own thoughts where's the word kept playing in her head like an old record.

"Because I'm disappointed with you,Emma."

"63194,Sister Emma!"a man's voice brought her back to reality.She checked her surroundings and indeed she was back in the interrogation room.

"Hello!You're there 63194,Sister Emma!?"Mr Ratri asked.Emma immediately stood up from her chair and apologizes for her attitude.

"I'm so sorry,Mr Ratri.But these 3 months had been rough for her."Grandma Isabella said to him.He just sighed and took another good look at the sister.Emma smile sheepishly and blushed slightly.She blushed not because of him starring at her but at Grandma Isabella who stood for her again.

"Huh.Anyway,shall we begin the interrogation?Or you want to do something else before continuing to the main point?"He said.Isabella and Emma nods their head indicating that they're ready for the interrogation sessions.And so,Emma was questions rapidly by Mr Ratri who was craving for answers.

It's been 3 days since all of the shelter's resident evacuated.They were currently in the woods as they decided to follow the instructions that were left to them by the unknown.Whether it was risky or not,they had no other choice as that's the only way to avoid from being discovered by the enemies.

Still Alice didn't really agree with them but she was outnumbered during the voting whether to stay put or keep going with the unknown message.

"Hold on a sec."Fabion said in which gains everyone attentions."Me and Thomas had been wondering this for a while now.I mean,if we keep following this unknown...then won't we just ended up in a circle?"he stated.Thomas,who was beside him also said,

"Yeah,and it is far more dangerous.I mean,ended up in a circle in this wilderness.Who knows what monster lies within."

Both of them started to bring more anxiety within everyone.Paula then also said,while drawing a circle with a stick she got on the floor,"Sorry to interupt but what these two said does make a point.Well,just hear me out.First,we go to the south,then to the west.Later on,to the north and finally to the east.Then,we repeat the sequence all over again."She explained as she completed drawing the circle on the muddy floor.

The rest of the people examined the drawing and some of them started to whispers among themselves.

"Eto,there must be some specific reason.Right?"Janice said even she stutter a bit.She scared that if she voice out her opinion,she might get scolded by everyone.Alice then approached her and sweep her back which calmed her down a bit.

Everyone turned from the drawing towards Charles for answers as he was the brightest amongs them all.Charles,who was tired from the walking sit on the muddy floor cross legged.

"Do you have any explanation for this?"Sonya from the GP resistance asked.He took a deep breath before started to the explains.

"Schrödinger."he simply said.They were all clueless.The explanation was short and didn't really bring relieved to them.

"Ooh!!!!You mean the cat in the box theory?I do know about it!!!"Alice said excitedly.Charles turned to her and nod his head.

"Care to explain a little deeper on this topic.Not all of us understand it ya know."Zack of GP resistance said.Charles stood up later,tap his trouser and began to explained even further.

"This unknown uses the same concept like the schrödinger cat theory.The person can be everywhere and nowhere on his own freewill.Only he decide when and where."

"We will keep ending up in this circle until this person finally show up.After all,he or she is the only one who decide when and where to show up to us.Revealing themselves at once."

"It's a wise move because the enemies can't predict your exact location and situasion.So,basically this person will be invincible.Only the person decide when and where to strike down the enemy."He finished the explaintion.Again,Violet was awestruck while the rest were relieved a bit.

"So you're saying that this guy have some sort of omnipresent power."Yuugo said as he was still blurred with the whole Schödinger theory.

Charles was about to explained to him but was interrupted by an irritated Alice.

"He or she will show up when they want,okay.It's their own freewill.They're the one who decide everything after all.Now,enough with that.It's almost sunset and we need to setup the camp.Your help will come in handy."She then proceeded marching off to help the others.Yuugo joined Lucas for scouting the area while Charles realised what thoughts disturbing Alice at that moment.After all,he was thinking the same as her.

At night,they patrol the camp in groups.The youngings were left back in the campsite under the protection of Oliver,Zack,Paula and Adam from GP resistance.It was all intended for the younglings safety.

Alice seems troubled since then.She had another theory which she kept for herself as she knew that if she share it with the rest of her siblings,it might blow up their mind.But she forgotten that one person can know about it.And so,he decided to talk with her about it after they finish the patrol.

"Alright.Everyhing seems fine for now.Group 1,you guys will continue patrolling the area for 3 hours as we had planned back then.Then,switch with group 2 and so continue the cycle on and on.If any of you see anything suspicious,alarm us immidetaely."Lucas said after they all finished their first patrol.The area was huge.So,they're taking some precautions steps for their own sake.

Alice went off to her tent which she shared with some others girls but then she was stopped mid track as Charles called out for her.She could hear his footsteps approached her.She gulped and started to sweat a bit as she knew that Charles figure it out.

"Hey Alice,to be fair..I was thinking the same theory as you."these shocked her a little as it was way out from what she thought he might say.She turned to face him later.

"You do?"she said.Charles nods 3 times at her."I only know one person who is expert with the schrödinger theory.After all,that's the reason he managed to win every tags games."he said.Alice sighed as he said as what as she expected he would.

"Yeah,me too."She said."But isn't it impossible for him to be still alive?"she added.Charles placed his hand on her shoulder before saying,

"There might be some possibilities."Alice gasped.He nod his head once more.

From far away,the hunters group managed to keep up with the escapees group.They haven't make any move yet as they kept examined all of their preys movement.

"When are we going to strike them?sir.We've been here for quite some time now,sir"one of the Hunter said as he was running out of his patience.Andrew,turned to face him with and angry expression.

"There are 2 rules when you're facing an enemy.First,never underestimate them and second,never be overconfident as it kills you in silent."He said sternly.

"We will attack them soon.We needs to be patience.These kids aren't ordinary targets.They are smart and wise.It'll be a little hard to strike em down."he said to his men.He don't want to fail his superior and so he's taking as much time as needed so that the plan will be successful.

[6 HOURS LATER]

The only sound that could be heard was cricket creaking in the dark.The temperature of the environments dropped drastically.Lucas decided that all of the patrol group will be patrolling nearby the campsite as he feared for their safety.After all,they were in the woods when the wild beasts reside and also,those wild demons might also be nearby too.

Caesar and Nigel were walking back to the campsite to end their shift but then both of them could hear some footsteps.They both stopped walking immediately."Can you hear that??"Nigel asked Caesar.Caesar just nod his head.Nigel who was shacking,reached for his whistle and was about to blow it until one of the Hunter stop him mid track.

"One more move and you'll die."he warned them.Caesar started to shacking out of fear.

Later on,many more of the hunters came out of from their hiding spot.Revealing themselves including the leader himself,Andrew.

"Look at what we got here."Andrew said as he slowly approaching both Caesar and Nigel.His footsteps sends shivers down their spine.He was closing in until a clanking sound interrupted.Stopping him midtarck.

*CLING CLING CLING*

"Whats that?Hey you(While pointing at one of the hunter),check that out."Andrew instructed.The Hunter approached the source of the sound and was shocked but before he could warn the others,an explosion occurred.

BOOM!!!!!

The sound of the explosion could be hear from mile away.It surprised everyone back in the campsite and woke some of the kids who felt asleep.It might even perhaps informed some one else out there.

"Tatakae!!!"Yuugo screamed out loud and so the remaining of the patrol groups started attacking those hunters."Split up!Remember,our targets are the GF escapees.The rest are unrelavent,kill the rest."Andrew ordered to his men.

BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG

Bullets were flying in every directions.The children tried their best to dodges those bullets.Some made it while others failed and were injured badly.

"Puspa!!"Donny called out her name while dodging some bullets.Puspa was alarmed afterwards yet she failed to avoid the incoming bullets which pierced her left leg and her torso.
"Arghhhh!!"she screamed  in pain.

"Muda,muda,muda,muda,muda,muda,muda,muda."Yuugo said while firing his gun in every direction possible." Fire in the hole!"Oliver said and then threw a grenade at the enemies.

"Sir,what should we do now?we're outnumbered."Andrew's man asked but before he can get an answer,he was shot through the head.

"Keep attacking!No surrender!Keep pushing!"Andrew said out loud.Slowly,the hunters attempts to approached the campsite.

"Duck!"Charles said to Alice as he pushed her head down to avoid bullets.

"Hey Charles!We need to save the younglings!"Sonya said to him while being protect by Adam.

"She's right.We need to help the younglings."Alice said while standing up and started marching off to the younglings.Charles called out after her but failed as the sounds of the firearms were way louder.

"Keep pushing!They're almost cornered.They're almost runs out of  bullets."Andrew instructed his fellow men.The resistance indeed started to runs low on ammunition.They're also got pushed back little by little.

"Lucas!what now!?"Oliver said to Lucas after that he got shot at his right shoulder.Lucas was getting more concerns as he was running out of ideas on surviving.

All hopes were seems to lost.The fight was almost over and the title of winner was in the enemies grasps.At that moment,Lucas watched in silenced.He looks at his fellow resistance who were still encouraged to fight.Later,he turned to the dark sky and started to pray.Even he didn't believe in god,still he prayed that someone or something will come and save them.Suddenly,

BOOM,BOOM,BOOM,BOOM,BOOM

TRAT,TRAT,TRAT,TRAT,TRAT,TRAT

It was like his pray got answered.Out of nowhere,a dozen of kids among the age of 11 and 18 were pushing back the enemies.Firing their guns at them and even equipped with tons of explosions to blew up the enemies.

"Arghhhhhh!"one of the soldier screamed in agony and with great pain urging as one of the grenade that was thrown earlier blew up,and the impact of it hit several people in the process.

"My arms!"Another unlucky soldier cried out loud when his right arm was blown off from its place.Now leaving the man with only one working arm while the other just stiff on the ground as blood oozed from his once normal right arm.

"Sir,we're outnumbered!"his men said.They were also running low on ammunitions.As there were no other options,Andrew instructed his men to retreat as it was the last resort.

BOOM,BOOM,BOOM,

Explosions and bullets kills the silence and the peace environment of the woods.

"Retreat!Retreat!Let those kids have this victory!"he said before running into the darkness of the woods along with his men one by one.

Finally,the mayhem was over.The rains of bullets finally ended.And at once,the area started to get a little calm slowly as they all felt safe.

"Thank you."Lucas said to one of the kid who  their life,but she said,"No need thank us.Thanks to our leader,you're safe."

"Leader?"Annie said while supporting an injured Thomas to walk."Yup!"was simply her replied.She then pointed at a person who was wearing a red cloak with a hood.The person approached the group and smile a little before pulling off his hoodie.Revealing his face which surprised all of the GF escapees,especially both Charles and Alice.

"It's been a while huh."He said.

"No way...." Alice said while Charles mumbled to himself which quite loud that others can hear him,"it can't be....."

The leader nod his head at them.

"Ben!"Alice and Charles said together while the rest of the people just watched them.Some were dumbfounded while the others were thanking to the almighty god as one of them was actually live and was in a good health and in a good shape.

The scene was also got added with the sky started to shine bright as the sun finally arise from its slumber.
