SEARCHING FOR ANSWERS

ALICE POV

Mr Lucas,Oliver and me were walking underneath the wind will house.There's a tunnel that will lead us to our answer.

[FLASHBACK]

"I believe you still have the pen with you."Mr Lucas asked me but it was more like a statement.I simply nod at him which made him smiled from ear to ear.

"I'm glad.Well,you see that pen is so important because it's the key to unlock the door hidden in the tunnel."I was so confused when I heard that.

'Key???door????what on earth is he talking about.?'

Realising my confussions,Lucas apologised to me as he then continued explaining several stuffs for me.

"You see,under this windmill house,there's a secret pathway.A hidden tunnel.Those demons doesn't know about it.And at the end of the tunnel lies a door which is lock till this days.The only key to unlock that door is the pen,which you have it with you right now.I'm so glad cause I've spent to long to unlock the door but it was all in vein until you came up with the pen.Now,finally we're going to know the answer what lies behind that door."He said in full excitement.I just smiled at him.I kinda felt how he felt,spending all of those years trying to figured out how to open a door.It must be quite frustrating huh......

[END OF FLASHBACK]

"How much further do we have to walk.???"Oliver asked but none of us answered him as we were focusing on our main goal,finding the door and unlocking it.

"Anyway Alice,Tell me more about your family."Mr Lucas demanded.

"Well Mr Lucas....."

"Please(while raised his right hand),just call me Lucas."

'Lucas...hmmmm alright then'I thought to myself.

"Well,Lucas.....there 12 of us that escaped from Grace Field.There's two of us who are the oldest,me and Charles.The rest simply 10 years old and below.Well,me and Charles set on adventure with your friend to this place but somehow only I ended up here.I don't exactly know what happen to them.The rest of our siblings stay in the shelter."

"Thats quite amazing Alice.I meant,you guys are escapees."Oliver praised me and I just smiled at him.Then I mouthed a 'Thank you' at him which made him a little blush.

"Don't worry Alice.If Charles with that man,then there's nothing bad going to happen to the both of them."

After finished with the story telling,we finally arrived at the door.It was dusted which mean Lucas haven't visited this place for quite a long time.

I took out the pen from my left pocket and let the projection hit the door which fortunately unlocking it.

"Ara,ara....it really works huh..."Lucas said.He then gestured Oliver to open the door which he did and all of us were flabbergasted with the view behind the door.

"My God.....this place is huge.!!!"Oliver was so excited.Lucas was smiling to himself as he was feeling the succes of unlocking the door which only God's know how long he tried to unlock it.

"Its like in a fantasy world you guys....and look over there."I said while pointing my index finger at something extraordinary.

"That's a cabin.....a floating cabin!!!"Oliver said in excitement.He also continued,"And that's not it,look a golden lake..."we all then approached this so called lake with golden water.

Lucas tried to touch the water but he can't as the water kept avoiding his touch and suddenly disappeared.

'Thats why its called Goldy Pond huh.'

"Strange.I didn't know this kind of place exist."

"what do you mean Lucas.??"I asked out of curiosity.

"I mean,I've been wondering why did William Minerva build such a horryifing place for us kids to live as living game for those poachers.And looking at this place right now,completely change my mindset.What does William Minerva's true goals.?????"

"Maybe the answer we're looking for is inside the cabin."I said while pointing at the same cabin.He then turned to Oliver and gestured him to checked the cabin for our safety.Oliver enter the place and came out a few minutes later.

"This place is empty.No sign of life at all.!!!"he screamed out.We then proceeded entering the place and it was full with dust and old documents.I saw an elevator when I was venturing a little deeper into the cabin.I started calling out for both of them and they joined me in front of the elevator afterwards.

"An old model elevator.???what's so interesting bout it.??"Oliver asked me.Lucas was the one to answer him.

"Maybe this is what they said as a pathway...."

"Well I'm thinking the same as you Lucas.well then.."I entered the elevator without hesitation and I saw a hole inside of it.

'A tiny hole huh....hold on a sec...could it be for the pen'I took out the pen and inserted it into the hole.The elevator started to gave some responds.Unfortunate for us,the screen in the elevator displayed 'FAILURE'

RING,RING,RING,RING

'Huh,what's that noise.???'

"Hey Alice look,a telephone."Lucas said to me.I then exited the elevator and went to telephone.Lucas nod at me as he gave me the permissions to answer it.

I pickup the phone and started listening.

"This is William Minerva,and to those who are listening to this recording....I'm sorry but I'm long gone from this world."

'he's dead....William Minerva's dead...no,no,no'

"but fear not as I have left many informations regarding this world in my published book,adventure log of Hugo.I've been leaving some hints and clues for you to survive and even escape from this world to you who I'm assuming an escapee."

"I'm truly sorry for what's happening in Goldy Pond.I
knew that that monster had turned it into a hunting playground.well and for that I'll explain everything to you."

"My Name is James Ratri.I'm the descendents of the Ratri clan who forged the 'promised' long time ago.We're responsible with the human trafficking and more.We're also responsible with the farms and those children shipping.But I grew tired with all of that and so I went rouge.It's time for me to broke the traditions.I abducted the name of a fiction character which is William Minerva and I worked as a guide to you who want to escape from this world.The elevator in the cabin is one of the example of the pathway by unfortunately,its broken.But don't worry as there's more pathway that can be use to cross to human world.Which are,Grace Field,Glory Bell,Goodwill Rigde and Grand Valley.Those are the examples for the other paths."

'Impressive...the path that we need to cross was in Grace Field the whole time.'I thought to myself as I kept listening to the explanations.

"I've build several shelters and even a village to you escapees but since I've been betrayed,They turn Goldy Pond into a hunting playground.I don't even know what happen in A06-32 but I hope its save for you escapee."

"Anyway to the main point,if you want to escape to human world,then you can go to those plantations that were stated for the pathway is waiting for you.If you want to wage a war upon those demons,I've left several firearms and other lethal weapons for you to fight them all.But if its neither of those two....then Maybe you can just proceed to....."

The statement I heard afterwards surprised me a little.
