I put down my phone and curled into a tighter ball, I did not want to sleep because of the nightmares but I needed rest with so many jobs. Especially since Kyle really wanted everything to be perfect even though he never understood what I did.

     saddened with my thoughts and fully aching from todays and yesterday beating I changed my bandage or used a rag to clean my newest cuts and bruises then I curled up under and old jacket brushing all the glass fragments off, and tried to sleep.

Putting down the phone I sighed and looked in the mirror. There were so many things going on right now with my life and I did not need to think about this person I was texting. They were really funny but I could tell behind the mask of humor and sarcasm they went through some tough stuff.
