AUTHOR'S POV:

Shivansh reached home and Aryan also went to his home. They had vacated the flats. Upon entering, Shivansh found it was already 2 AM.

He first checked on Advik and Adwit, who were sleeping soundly. Then, he went to Aahana's room to find her sleeping peacefully. He approached her, kissed her forehead, and covered her properly with the blanket.

Then he turned around to see Advay asleep on the couch in a seated position. Shivansh went near him and gently placed his hand on Advay's shoulder, causing him to flinch. Advay, with sleepy eyes, looked at him.

Shivansh signaled for him to leave, to which Advay replied, "Bhai, you go and rest, I'll sleep here."

Saying this he was about to lie down on the couch when Shivansh said, "There's no need for anyone to stay here. Let's both go to our respective rooms, come on."

Advay attempted to protest, but Shivansh glared at him and said, "Aahana is fine now, let's go."

Advay nodded, and both of them headed towards their room, talking about something as they moved. Just then, the doorbell rang.

INAYAT'S POV:

I slowly opened my eyes, blinking repeatedly to adjust to the environment. My head was pounding, and the pain was intense.

I lacked the strength to get up, but I made a feeble attempt to do so. Suddenly, I felt someone helping me. I turned to see Rhea by my side.

She helped me to sit and then hurried off somewhere, returning with a glass of water and a strip of medicine. She explained how I had fainted and how the doctor had come, prescribing the medication.

I took the medicine and leaned against Rhea's shoulder, finding her comforting touch as she gently stroked my hair.

As I was about to drift back to sleep, she softly suggested, "Inu, let's go home, hmm?"

I nodded weakly but made no effort to stand, remaining seated. After sometime she slowly stood up and supported me as I struggled to stand and walk due to my lack of energy.

She guided me to the car, and once inside, she told me that I can sleep again, to which I happily obliged. She then started the car and began driving, and soon I drifted off again in the comfort of the car's interior.

After some time, I felt someone shaking me, and I woke up to find complete darkness around, illuminated only by the moonlight. But when I looked ahead, I was shocked and enraged.

I quickly turned to Rhea and shouted, glaring at her, "What the hell are we doing here, Rhea?"

She replied calmly, "Inayat, please calm down and listen to me."

But I cut her off, saying, "Rhea, I don't have the patience to listen or argue right now. Just drive away from here, or move over and let me."

I started undoing my seatbelt, but she grabbed my hand and said, "Inayat, there was an attack there. That's why we're here."

I froze at her words. An attack, on our place. But why?

Then, a thought struck me, and I asked about Aahana, Advik, Adwit, and Aryan bhai. Rhea reassured me that they were all okay and here with us. I felt a wave of relief knowing they were safe. Thank God.

I asked for a detailed explanation, and Rhea recounted how the attack targeted Aahana and how Aryan bhai had saved her. I leaned back, pressing my head, trying to process everything. Why couldn't I find peace in my life?

But Rhea's next words made me even more tense. She mentioned how Advay bhai had told her that Aryan bhai had called him and told about the goons attacking to obtain property papers signed by my mother.

My eyes widened in shock as I looked at her, trembling, asking, "Does that mean...?"

She nodded and said " I also think the same", and I felt a rush of uncertainty. How could this be happening?

"We needed to investigate this matter right now so what are we doing here?" I demanded. She explained that Shivansh had asked her to bring me here so we could discuss what to do next.

As frustration gnawed at me, I grabbed at my hair, exclaiming, "Oh my God, Rhea, seriously? Tell me clearly, does he mean more to you than I do that you hanging on his every word now?"

Rhea responded, "No, it's not like that. Vikrant sent those goons, and he's targeting both of you. If we collaborate, we can handle this better and resolve it faster."

Confused, I asked, "So Vikrant sent them to get the property papers? But how does he know about them?"

Rhea admitted, "That's what we need to find out. We can do it alone, but with their help, it'll be faster, and there's a threat to both of you, so we need to address this."

Sighing, I nodded in agreement, looking down. Then Rhea urged, "Let's go inside and figure out our next steps."

But then I remembered Shivansh's words again. "Don't you dare come near me or my family, or I will kill you,".

So closing my eyes, I denied saying, "I won't go inside. We can find another house or book a hotel. But I won't stay here."

Despite Rhea's attempts to persuade me, I remained firm. "I won't budge, Rhea. I've made my decision."

Finally Rhea gave up and said, "Okay, fine, let me call them outside."

She attempted to reach Advay bhai and Shivansh, but their calls went unanswered. So she headed to the door and rang the bell, giving me the chance to slip into the driver's seat and take control.

I knew that when these three would come together, they would definitely try some emotional drama to convince me to stay here.

And I also agree with Rhea, sometimes, for certain things, one should set aside their ego. If I take Shivansh's help, the work will be done quickly, and then I can go back to the USA, far away from them.

But before accepting their proposal today, I will teach them a lesson. Advay bhai and Rhea left us alone, and today Shivansh has troubled me so much, today I will make sure to enjoy troubling him in return. Thinking this, I waited for them to come out.

SHIVANSH'S POV:

When we heard the doorbell ringing, my first thought was that it must be Rhea and Inayat; who else would come at this time. We both approached the door and opened it, and indeed, Rhea was standing there.

However, I couldn't see Inayat, so I asked, "Rhea, are you alone? Is Inayat okay? Where is she?"

She replied irritably, "Yeah, she's fine, just refusing to come inside." I sighed, knowing exactly why she must be refusing.

Then I asked, "So, what do we do now?"

Rhea responded, "Come to the car and convinve her to come home and what else? I can't do more than this. I brought her here, now it's your responsibility to take her home from here."

I sighed and nodded, gesturing for her to proceed, and I followed her. On the way, I instructed one of the guards to stand near the entrance and inform a female staff member to stay close to Aahana.

When we reached the car, I saw Inayat sitting in the driver's seat. Turning to Rhea, I expressed a bit of frustration, "Rhea, how could you allow Inayat to drive in such a situation? You know she's not well."

She placed her hands on her hips and retorted, "Oh, hello, you don't need to lecture me on what I should do. I drove until here, and now Inayat must have gotten the chance to switch seats just because you guys didn't pick up my call. So don't you dare blame me."

With that, she stormed to the back seat and slammed the door shut. She's getting irritated very quickly, probably because she didn't get her beauty sleep.

I've heard that sleep is very precious for girls. That means Inayat must be in a very bad mood. Oh God, please handle this.

Then Advay approached me, whispering "All the best," before getting into the back seat. Finally, I settled into the passenger seat beside Inayat.

I cautiously called out to her, but suddenly she started the engine and began reversing the car. The guards opened the car doors, and she swiftly drove onto the roads.

The three of us were bewildered, unsure of where she was taking us. But then her words sent shivers down our spines.

She demanded, "I want a proper explanation as to why Advay bhai and Rhea left us alone in the cabin and weren't answering calls. I suspect something, so I need answers to confirm it.

After that, Shivansh will have 5 minutes to convince me to stay at his house. If my suspicions about Advay bhai and Rhea are found false and Shivansh persuades me to go to their house, then I'll drive us there directly.

But if things go the other way, I don't know where we'll end up. I don't even know if we'll ever come back home. Your time starts now."

Until then, Inayat had kept the car's speed in check, but as soon as she finished speaking, she floored the accelerator. At that moment, I just wanted to hug Inayat because I felt like today might be my last day.

What reason could Advay and Rhea give when they were part of a plan? Inayat was driving recklessly, causing the car to sway, making it difficult for us to stay balanced, but she remained composed.

I glanced back and barked, "Say something now, damn it! Give your reasons. Then it's my turn, or do you both want to die?" They seemed shocked by Inayat's reaction, but Rhea began explaining.

Rhea began her explanation, stating, "Advay was discussing the project and seeking suggestions. He suggested continuing the discussion while getting food, considering its length and our hunger, and I agreed.

Upon reaching the car, he started it. However, while driving, we encountered an injured puppy in the middle of the road, so we took it to the vet. Unfortunately, we forgot our phones in the car, which was parked in an area with no network coverage.

After the puppy was treated, and we came back to our car we saw multiple missed calls from you and Shivansh. Advay then called Shivansh and then he informed us about your situation, and we rushed to you. That's all."

Listening to Rhea's explanation, I felt a surge of pride and admiration for her ability to fabricate such a convincing story in a short amount of time.

Even though I knew the truth, I found myself inclined to believe Rhea's version of events. Her skill at lying was truly remarkable.

However, then Inayat's stern gaze and words refocused my attention to the present situation.

She turned to me and said " Your time starts now."

With both side mirrors of the car broken and likely several scratches on its surface from Inayat's reckless driving, the tension inside the car was palpable.

Time was ticking, so without further delay, I began my attempt to persuade Inayat.

AUTHOR'S POV:

Then Shivansh adopted a puppy-eyed expression and addressed Inayat in a soft, gentle voice that surprised not only her but also Advay and Rhea.

He began slowly, saying, "Inayat, look, the attack happened on Aahana even though she wasn't involved in anything. This means that those people can attack anyone without much thought.

Moreover, the attack was intended for you, but fortunately, you weren't there, so it happened on Aahana instead. But if we stick together, we stand a better chance of staying safe.

Even if you don't care about yourself, think about Aahana and the twins. They are deeply attached to you, and they will insist on staying with you, which isn't safe for them.

I know you can enhance your security, but imagine if we combine our powers, we can handle the situation more effectively. Today, the attack was meant for you, but tomorrow it could be Rhea's turn.

I know both you and Rhea are strong enough to protect yourselves, but this isn't just about protection. Vikrant isn't just some small-time gangster; he's dangerous.

The fact that he wants the papers signed by your mother indicates that he's not planning all this alone, someone is for sure behind him, helping him.

We need to work together to figure this out because now it's not just about you being threatened; we are all threatened. If you come back home, we can all keep each other safe."

Lastly, he looked down, joined his hands, and said, "I know I've made a big mistake, and for that, I am ready to accept any punishment you think is right and I am even ready to accept any condition you put forward but please just come with me. I am sorry. I apologize for my actions.

SHIVANSH'S POV:

Suddenly, Inayat hit the brakes, causing me to jerk forward. As I looked ahead, I realized we had finally reached my place, meaning we had finally convinced Inayat.

I was so caught up in my emotions that I hadn't even noticed when we arrived. Advay and Rhea quickly opened the door and hurried inside the house, appearing visibly relieved.

My attention returned to Inayat when I heard her speak slowly, " Mein koi bhi sharth rakhungi aap maanlenge?" (Will you agree to any condition?)

I replied, " Bass ek cheez ke alawa jo aap bolengi wo sab maanlunga."(I'll agree to everything except one.)

She asked, " Aur wo ek cheez kaunsi hai?" (And what is that one thing?)

Leaning a little closer, I said, "Aap kabhi mujhe apko manane se mana nahi kar sakti. Last mein aap manengi ya nahi mujhe nahi pata aur mein kabhi zabardasti bhi nahi karunga par mein kosish karna kabhi band nahi karunga.

Mein hamesha apko paane ki kosish karta rahunga. Aap maaf karein na karein apki marzi par maafi mein mangta rahunga."  (You can never stop me from trying to win you over. Whether you forgive me or not is your choice, but I will keep asking for forgiveness. I'll always strive to win you back.)

With that, I returned to my seat, and she turned her head to the other side. I waited for her response, but she remained silent.

After some time, she spoke, "But you won't try to make up situations to bring us closer."

I smiled and nodded, but then I faked confusion and asked, "What if situations naturally arise?"

Annoyed, she looked at me and said, "I don't know."

With that, she quickly opened her door and went towards the door and stood there. Inayat was back home, and now I just needed to find my way back into her heart.

With that thought, I happily followed her inside. Tomorrow, when the kids will wake up, they'll be thrilled to see both Rhea and Inayat here. I'm excited to see their reaction. Smiling to myself, I walked towards the house.
