ARYAN'S POV:
It was nighttime, and I was exhausted. As I parked my car, I noticed that neither Advay nor Rhea's cars were parked, meaning they hadn't arrived yet.
I felt relieved because it meant Aahana would finally be alone at home, and I could spend some time with her after so long. With this thought, I happily ascended the stairs.
However, as I neared the door, I heard strange noises, as if someone was throwing something. My heart stopped when I realized the sounds were coming from Rhea's flat, where only Aahana would be at the moment.
Glancing at Advwit and Advik's flat which was closed, I saw no signs of anyone there. I tried to push their door, but it wouldn't budge, and there were no sounds from inside, indicating it was locked and they were safe.
So, I locked the door from outside to ensure their safety. At least they were secure. Then, I quickly headed towards Rhea's flat.
Upon opening the door, my eyes widened, and I clenched my fists in anger. A man was holding Aahana tightly with one hand while covering her mouth with the other, muffling her cries. Two others were ransacking the place.
I moved towards the man holding Aahana, texting my men to come quickly. When he noticed me, he reached for something in his pocket, perhaps a gun.
But before he could, I twisted his hand back, punched him hard, and slammed his head against the table, rendering him unconscious.
As Aahana saw me, she ran into my arms, crying hysterically. By then, the other two men had noticed me and advanced towards us.
I pushed Aahana behind me and demanded, "What the hell do you want? Why are you here?" They didn't respond; instead, they pulled out a gun and aimed it at us.
Seeing this, Aahana became even more frightened, burying her face in my back and clutching my shirt tightly. I tried to move her aside, but she held onto my hand tightly, hiding her face in my shoulder.
Then, I heard the gunshot. The man had fired at me. I tried to dodge, but the bullet grazed my shoulder, causing blood to trickle out.
He aimed again, but before he could shoot, my men burst in and shot him in the hand, causing the gun to fall.
They swiftly apprehended all three men, and I nodded to indicate they should take them to our usual place.
Then I turned towards Aahana, and she whispered my name before hugging me tightly, pressing her face against my chest. I embraced her, resting my chin on her head, kissing her hair, and gently stroking it.
She remained in the same position and confessed, "I was so afraid when they came here. I thought something terrible would happen to me today."
Tears welled up in her eyes again. I pulled her back from the hug, wiped her tears, kissed her forehead and reassured her, "It's okay, stop crying now. Look, nothing happened to you, and nothing ever will as long as I'm here." She nodded and hugged me again.
But then her gaze fell on my wound where blood was seeping out. She quickly pushed me back and exclaimed, "Aryan, you're bleeding from your hands!"
I glanced at it, then back at her, shrugged, and replied, "I know."
She narrowed her eyes and retorted, "You know? Do you even realize how serious this is? Let's go to the doctor."
She started pulling me, but failed as I remained rooted to the spot. So she turned back and pleaded, "Aryan, please, let's go to the doctor. Look at how much blood you're losing. Aren't you in pain?"
I went towards her, pulled her by her waist, and said, "I am in pain, but the doctor can't fix it."
She looked at me confused and asked, "What do you mean?"
I smiled and explained, "I mean, if you just place your hand here, the wound will heal on its own."
She gave me an irritated look and said, "Are you done with your nonsense? Can we go now?"
I pulled her closer, resting my head on her shoulder frustratingly, "What nonsense? There's always someone around you, how can I meet you? And even if I manage to meet you somewhere outside, your brother never leaves you alone."
Then I lifted my head and led her to the couch, saying, "But now we finally have some alone time."
However, she quickly stood up and insisted, "No, you have to come with me to the hospital right now. Otherwise..." She glared at me.
So, I asked, "Otherwise what? What can a little thing like you do?"
Angered by my remark, she declared, "Fine! From now on, don't talk to me."
With that, she stormed off towards her room. I chuckled and chased after her, grabbing her wrist and pulling her towards me. "Alright, fine, let's go to the doctor," I relented.
She breathed a sigh of relief and muttered, "Thank goodness."
Then she hurriedly dragged me outside, and we headed to the hospital. But the contrasting thing is, here Aahana is praying for my safety and I am praying for our safety looking at her perfect driving skills.
Finally, we reached the hospital alive, where I received first aid, and then we returned home. I then decided to inform Shivansh about the incident and called him.

SHIVANSH'S POV:
Inayat's words echoed in my mind as she said, "Shivansh, everyone I love breaks my heart, betrays me; first my father, and then you. I can't take it anymore." And then, she lost consciousness, collapsing into my arms.
I looked at her tired face, feeling a pang of concern. I lifted her gently and laid her down on the couch, then knelt beside her. I brushed aside the strands of hair that had fallen onto her forehead, noting the pain etched on her features.
But amidst my worry for Inayat's well-being, her words lingered in my mind. She spoke of betrayal by her father, yet as far as I knew, he was deceased.
I remembered discussing this with Aahana once; she had mentioned that Inayat had told them that both her father and mother had died since she was very young due to which she used to live in a orphanage.
Rhea used to visit there so they became close and when she turned 18 she started living with Rhea. . I had refrained myself from questioning anything about this to Inayat, not wishing to reopen old wounds.
But now, her words hinted at a hidden truth, something I needed to uncover. Thinking this, I rose to my feet, making my way to the door. I called out to Advay to open it, and he obliged.

AUTHOR'S POV:
Advay and Rhea rushed into the room, their eyes immediately drawn to Shivansh, whose worried expression caught their attention. Their gaze then shifted to Inayat, lying on the couch.
Rhea hurriedly made her way to Inayat's side, sitting beside her and noticing the tear marks on her face. She turned to Shivansh, her voice filled with concern, she shouted "Shivansh, what the hell happened to her?"
Shivansh proceeded to recount the events, omitting the part which was reserved for Inayat alone, such as singing songs.
When he repeated Inayat's earlier statement, Rhea's complexion drained, but her tension heightened when Shivansh inquired, "Rhea, what did her father do to her? Her parents are dead, right?"
Rhea, caressing Inayat's face, responded softly, "No, he's not dead."
Shivansh pressed, "But Inayat had said..."
Rhea interjected, "Yes, he's dead to her, but not actually dead." Both Shivansh and Advay looked puzzled.
Rhea clarified, "Her mother passed away, but her father is alive. He's in jail."
Shock registered on the faces of both men, their voices reduced to whispers from the disbelief.
Rhea continued, "Yes, and the one who put him there is none other than Inayat."
Another wave of shock washed over them. They thought how could a daughter imprison her own father? Especially someone like Inayat, who typically didn't react strongly unless something significant was at play.
There had to be a significant secret behind this. But before they could inquire further, Rhea added, "I can only reveal this much. The rest of the information is for Inayat to state. I can't say anything else."
Shivansh had numerous questions swirling in his mind, but before he could voice them, his phone rang. The caller was Aryan.
When Shivansh received the call from Aryan, his expression shifted to one of deep concern as Aryan briefed him on the events involving Aahana.
Cutting the call, Shivansh turned to Rhea and conveyed, "Someone attacked Aahana at your flat. I need to go. You stay here with Inayat. I'll send a doctor. When she regains consciousness, come back home. I'm leaving my two bodyguards here."
Rhea and Advay, equally worried, absorbed Shivansh's words.
Rhea rose from her seat, while Advay approached Shivansh, asking, "Bhai, is Aahana okay now?"
Shivansh assured him, "Yes, Aryan handled everything. She's okay now." Both Rhea and Advay breathed a sigh of relief.
Advay then expressed his intent, "Bhai, I'll go with you."
He glanced at Rhea, who nodded in agreement, stating, "You both go. I'll handle everything here." With a nod of understanding, they left the room.
When we arrived at their apartment, we hurriedly made our way to their flat. Upon entering, we found Aahana and Aryan sitting in the living room. Aahana noticed me and rushed into my arms, tears streaming down her face.
I gently stroked her hair, reassuring her, "It's okay, bacha, you're safe now. Nothing happened, and nothing like this will ever happen again. So just relax."
After comforting her with some more soothing words, she calmed down slightly but didn't let go of my hand. Advay approached and gave her a side hug, planting a kiss on her forehead.
I attempted to step closer to Aryan, releasing Aahana's hand, but she held onto me tighter with both hands, so I remained by her side.
I inquired, "Aryan, were all three of them caught?"
He confirmed, "Yes, they're in the basement."
I nodded and then asked about Adwit and Advik, ensuring their safety.
Aryan reassured me, "They're fine. They don't know anything. I checked on them a few minutes ago, and they were sleeping."
Turning to Aahana, I suggested, "Let's go back home."
She started to protest, "But bhai..."
Before she could finish, I intervened firmly, "No, bacha, I can't risk your safety anymore. There will be no compromises. We're leaving right now."
Knowing there was no point in arguing with Shivansh, Aahana agreed with a nod.
Shivansh instructed Advay to bring Adwit and Advik, cautioning him not to disclose anything to them to avoid causing fear.
Advay complied, bringing them down, and then we all left for the mansion, except for Aryan, who headed to his office basement.

SHIVANSH'S POV:
When we arrived home, Aahana had already fallen asleep, so I gently lifted her, took her to her room and laid her on her bed. Adwit and Advik retired to their rooms as well.
I approached Advay and instructed him, "Stay with Aahana until I return. She might wake up in the middle of the night, and she's quite frightened." He nodded in understanding, and I left for Aryan's office.
On my way, I called Rhea to inquire about Inayat's condition. She reassured me that the doctor had arrived and diagnosed Inayat's fainting spell as a result of stress-induced low blood pressure.
She assured me that Inayat would regain consciousness shortly and that there was nothing to worry about.
Feeling somewhat relieved, I urged Rhea to convince Inayat to come to our mansion so we could discuss the recent attack. She agreed, and we ended the call.
Upon reaching Aryan's office, I descended to the basement where he had detained the three men. Aryan had already taken matters into his own hands, injuring them very bad.
I didn't wanted to waste any more time on them, so I inquired if they had revealed anything. Aryan informed me that they were sent by Vikrant. While I had suspected this, Vikrant's involvement with Inayat puzzled me, as his issues were primarily with me.
Aryan then disclosed that Vikrant had sent them to retrieve some property papers from Inayat, bearing her mother's signature. This revelation only deepened my confusion.
Why would Vikrant be interested in Inayat's property papers, and how did he know they contained her mother's signature? Was Vikrant somehow connected to Inayat? The situation was becoming increasingly confusing.
Turning to our men, I ordered, "Break every single bone in these three men's bodies, then admit them to the hospital and inform their families."
With that settled, Aryan and I departed for the mansion, as he insisted on checking on Aahana. He harbored a deep affection for her just like a brother have for his sister.
