ADVAY'S POV:

I really didn't want to go to Rhea's house, but just because bhai forced me, I have to go. It's not like I don't like those people. I love everyone, but I just can't digest the fact that I have to leave Shivansh bhai alone.

Right now, everyone is with Inayat, starting from my sister to my brothers and even her best friend, but no one will be there with Ansh bhai. I agree he made a mistake, but that doesn't mean I will leave him. But still, just because he said so, I need to go.

Aryan bhai is also coming with me. When I asked him why he was coming, he just said,"Because you all will be going there, which means you will be having lots of fun, and I can't miss that. Besides, there's no one at my house, so what else would I do alone?"

Ansh bhai told us to go directly there, and he will bring our bags so that he can also see Inayat. He is putting in so much effort to convince Inu; I just hope she agrees soon. When we reached their place, I saw my brother already standing outside the building.

He left after us but reached early. Okay, desperate enough. He saw us and then started moving inside. Aryan bhai was driving, so he parked the car, and after around 10 minutes, we also entered the building. But when I went to their flat, the scene in front of me made my blood boil.

Inayat pushed my brother, and he was about to fall, but I ran towards him and held him, preventing him from falling. Then Inayat came towards him and said not to come near her again and left. I know my brother was wrong, but at that moment, I felt like telling him to just leave Inayat and move on in his life because I can tolerate anything but not his insult.

And I haven't given anyone the right to insult him, neither my brothers nor my sister nor anyone else in this world. And right now, I'm so angry at what Inayat did that I just want to throw and break everything present here right now.

I felt bad when my brother slapped Inayat, even though I had only known her for a month, so just imagine the intensity of anger I might be feeling now when I saw her pushing my brother with whom I have spent my 25 years so hard that he would have fallen.

If she felt so bad that day when my brother slapped her in front of everyone, then why is she repeating the same mistake today by laying her hands on my brother in front of his brother and sister. What will those kids think about him?

After that, Shivansh bhai didn't even look at any of us and just went from there. I was also going behind him when Rhea held my arms and said, "Listen, you need to make your idiot brother understand not to come here again. I told him to give Inayat some space, but that fool just doesn't get it."

Now, this was the last straw for me to control my anger. I forcefully pushed her hand away and snapped my fingers at her, shouting, "Just enough, Miss Oberoi! Don't you dare speak another word against my brother."

To which she just rolled her eyes and said, "Oh, so again the rebellious Advay Kapoor is back, who covers up for his brother's mistakes and wanders around being his tail."

The last ounce of patience I had vanished now. I grabbed her arms and pulled her towards me, saying in a slow yet intimidating voice, "Just shut up, Ms. Oberoi. Just shut up before I lose my calm."

Then she pushed me and said, "Oh, then what would you do, slap me just like your useless brother did? But just remember, you Kapoor, that after that, I won't take any bullet for you; instead, I would be the one holding the gun and shooting at you."

That was it. It was just enough. I held her hand and pulled her outside the flat. I locked the door behind so that the kids wouldn't come out, and then I dragged her towards the terrace. She was trying to break free from my hold, but I didn't let her.

Then I pushed her towards the terrace and closed the terrace gate after getting inside. Then I faced her and said in a very stern voice, "Now, say what you were saying?"

She marched towards me and shouted, "The fuck I was saying!  Why the hell did you bring me here?"

To which I calmly replied, "Because I didn't want my brothers and sister to hear you cursing the person whom they love a lot."

She just smirked at this and said, "Love? Right now, everyone is here supporting Inu because they know their brother is wrong. They are staying here with Inu, leaving their brother."

I tried to keep myself in control and explain to her calmly, "But that does not change the fact that they still love him the most. And don't forget that they are here because it was you who planned it, or else I am sure they would have never left him.

But why are you behaving like this right now? You were the one who planned to bring them together, right? Weren't you the one telling him to find ideas on how to please Inayat?

You made this plan to keep everyone here so that my brother could have a chance to meet Inayat, and now when that happened and Inayat's reaction turned out like this, you immediately started blaming my brother? How can you be so selfish?"

To which she retorted, "Yes, I told him all that, but I didn't tell him to come today itself. He should have come after some days. But that shit of a person..."

I did not let her complete and yelled, "Rhea, just fucking stop it. Stop cursing him again and again. At least not in front of me."

But today she was determined to bring out that angry Advay that I had kept hidden for years. She said, "Why the hell are you taking his side? Don't you think he's responsible for whatever is happening right now?

And you call yourself Inu's brother, so why are you taking the side of someone who slapped your sister? Do you even know how many problems she has faced in her life, and now this again?"

Listening to her words, I couldn't believe she thought I would abandon my brother over one mistake when he has everytime ignored and handled all my mistakes. Frustration surged within me, but I made an effort to calm myself down.

Speaking slowly, I said, "Rhea, he is my brother. The brother who has never left me alone. Despite just a two-year gap between us, ever since our parents' death, he has been like a father to me.

When our parents passed away, Adwit and Advik were just 12 years old, and I was 19. And bhai was 21. There were problems between our parents and theirs, so they never treated us as their own.

You know, at every step, starting from my brother's school admission to my college admission, he fought with his father to ensure we got into the best institutes."

When his parents disowned him, and he moved out. Within a few months, he brought all of us with him. What do you think how much profit he must have made during that time? How much income he must have been earning? Very less infact,  very very less.

It takes years to make a business successful, but in just a few months, he took all our responsibilties, yet he never let us feel any lack. He educated Adwit and Advik, sent me to college, sent Aahana to USA, all with his own money. Do you think all of this was easy for him?

I have seen him not sleeping for days, coming home at midnight and leaving before anyone wakes up, doing multiple part-time jobs, all for us. So that we could live a luxurious life. And you want me to leave that person and hate him, the person who have suffered this much just to give us a comfortable life?

You dared to tarnish his respect in front of those kids who are his life? You know when I ask myself that have I ever done anything for him ? The answer comes no nothing. Yet, as soon as our company grew, he gave me this COO position, even when I didn't deserve it.

I owe him a lot. And haven't you seen how much my brother has repented? Inayat may not have been in her senses, but you were, you saw everything, yet you're still doing this?

And as for problems, do you think my brother's life was devoid of them? Don't assume that problems were only in Inayat's life; they were in my brother's life too, but he doesn't bring them again and again to gain sympathy."

Now, I couldn't say anything more. My eyes were burning from holding back tears. She stood there silently, tears in her eyes as well. I couldn't calm myself anymore. I needed to go to Ansh bhai now and hug him.

So, I quickly moved to leave. But then again I looked back at her and said, "Before you say anything about him in the future, remember that he's my god, and I won't tolerate a word against him from anyone."

I immediately left from there and went down to return to our house. Bhai must have gone there, so I will also go. I don't want to stay here. With those thoughts, when I reached down, I saw that his car was still there.

I went near the car only to see Ansh bhai sitting inside and Aryan bhai sitting in the passenger seat. I know no matter how angry Aryan bhaiya gets, he will never leave us alone. I opened the door and got inside the back seat.

I quickly hugged him from behind and buried my face in his shoulder. He brought his hand near my head, ruffled my hair, and patted my arms.

Then I parted from the hug and asked, "Why are you still here? You should have left."

He turned back and said, "I knew you would come after me, so if I had gone home, you would have come there too and I didn't wanted to make you work so much. So I was waiting here only."

Then I said, "Okay, good, then now we will leave together. Let's go from here."

To which he said, "Why will you go from here? Only I need to leave from here. And as I said earlier, you are staying here. Nothing has changed."

Then I replied with a bit of anger in my voice, "It has changed, bhai, it has. Earlier, these people didn't insult you in this manner as they did today. And I can't live here where you will be insulted repeatedly."

He then calmly said, trying to make me understand, "Advay, I also insulted her, I raised my hand on her, right? So, if she is doing the same thing now, what's wrong with that?"

To which I answered a bit aggresively raising my voice, "Yes, bhai, there is nothing wrong. First, you insulted her, and now she has insulted you, right? You insulted her in front of strangers, and she did it in front of your own siblings, correct?

So now, it's even. So now, you don't need to do anything else. You have repented enough. Now let's leave and move on in our lives.

Earlier, I told you once that we can't forget Inayat, even if we try, but today I am saying it again that after today, we will forget her. We will forget these two months. But we won't tolerate this behavior towards you."

To this, Aryan brother said, "Advay, in love, people don't leave each other for such silly reasons. And the thing is not just about insult. If you look at mistakes, Shivansh always seems to come out on top.

He blamed her for harming Aahana when she was the one who saved her. He didn't even give her a chance to speak and accused her. What do you think, Advay, is Inayat angry just because Shivansh raised his hand on her? No, she's angry because Shivansh never trusted her and never gave her a chance to speak her mind but now he is saying he loves her.

How do you except her to believe him now when few days ago he himself threw her out of all our lives. And as for everything else, you can settle scores, but for the thing that she risked her life to save Ansh , how are you going to pay that debt?

In love, compromises have to be made. Until now, she was doing everything, staying at your house, doing all the work without any complaints just to earn his love. At that time, she gave her 100% without any expectations, so now it's Ansh's turn to compromise, to give his 100%. So if he's doing it now, let him do it."

When he finished his talk, Ansh bhai and me we both were just watching them. So he raised his eyebrow, asking us why we were staring at him. So I said, "Bhai, where did you hide our bhabhi who is explaining all these things to you?  Bacuase ou and love talks it's just so indigestible."

To this, he just smacked my head and said, "It's not like that, bro, I was trying to be mature."

And then three of us burst out laughing. But honestly I think he is somewhat right, but still, I can't be that normal with Inayat right now. There will always be some anger in my heart for her.

Then Ansh bhai said, "Okay, now you both should leave.  I have work, unlike you, so I need to leave."

Aryan bhai nodded and got out of the car. But I thought to try my last chance to convince bhai so that I can go with him, so I said, "Bhai, please..."

But he didn't let me complete and said, "Advay, you are needed here in case any matter goes out of hand, and moreover, for their safety too as we don't know what Vikrant can do next. He is still not caught. So please do this for me."

I quickly spoke, interrupting him, "No need to say please, bhai, I am going." With that, I gave him my last hug and went towards their house, with Aryan bhai.

Now I have decided that for some days, I won't talk to Rhea or Inayat because if I talk, then maybe I will say something that will hurt them, which I don't want at all. As we went inside their flat, I saw the kids sitting on the couch, and Rhea was inside the kitchen, I guess.

Here, all three of them were sitting idle and looking very sad. So Aryan brother went and tried to lift their mood, in which he got successful also. After some time, we all were sitting in the dining for dinner.

Aahana informed that Inayat will have her dinner in her room, which I was very thankful about. Then we had our dinner, and me and all the rest of the boys went to the flat in front of this one.

Today morning also I went their for breakfast but I didnt talk to anyone just had my breakfast and went away. I think this will continue for few more days too. Then I dropped the twins to college and went to work.

INAYAT'S POV:

From morning, I was preparing my presentation for the conference because I need that deal. If I get that deal, then our company will be on par with Shivansh's company, and after that, I will give him a very tough competition.

After sometime I kept the laptop and went to the kitchen to drink some water. It was 2 PM now. Rhea and Aahana had gone out to bring some ingredients to bake a cake in the evening. As I was returning to the room, I heard the bell ringing.

I thought that maybe they are back, so I opened the door with a wide smile, but my smile vanished as soon as I saw the person standing in front of me. Yes, he is none other than Mr. Kapoor. God, not again, why can't he just leave me alone?

I rolled my eyes at him and said, "No one is present here now who knows you, so get out."

With that, I was going to close the door when he put his hands in between, stopping me, and then showed me a book in his hand, saying, "I just came here to give these books. Advik needed them; he had called me."

I then opened the door without saying anything, took the book and then started closing the door, but then he again stopped me.

Now I was irritated so I opened the door and yelled irritation fully visible on my face "Now what?"

He  looked nervous. But none the less he came a little bit towards me and gave me a bouquet of red roses and said, "I am sorry." The flowers were really beautiful and smelled really nice, but the man giving them was not at all good.

I snatched the bouquet from his hand and then furiously threw it at him. Then I was going to crush the flowers with my feet when he suddenly kneeled down and put his hands under my feet. I was shocked to see this and quickly brought my legs back.

I looked down to see him carefully collecting the flowers that were scattered on the floor now and again arranging them into the bouquet. He then got up from the ground and stood up, saying, no, pleading, "Please don't do this."

His voice held so much sadness that for a moment, I thought I would melt and hug him, but I better know not to do that. He was looking really guilty and broken, but he broke me more. Thinking this, I quickly closed the door on his face and went back to my room.

Now I won't be able to do any work, so I just laid on my bed thinking about him. Right now, when I closed the door, my heart was aching badly seeing him like this in front of me. The man who was all strong and powerful was pleading in front of me. It was not at all a good sight to watch.

He even held my legs so that I wouldn't crush those flowers. That means those flowers must be really special to him. But anyway, whatever he had done, I am not ready to forgive him and go to him again, so it's better I stop thinking about him. So I got up and started my work again to keep my mind busy.

After some minutes, I heard the door opening sound, followed by a few giggling sounds, so I knew that Rhea and Aahana were back. Then Aahana came to my room, which was wide open, with a bouquet of red roses in her hand. Wait! This is the same bouquet that Mr. Kapoor had brought.

But before I could think further, she said, "Di, these flowers were kept outside the door. These are just so beautiful. Don't know who could leave these there, but if they were left outside, the flowers would have wilted, so I brought them inside. I will keep them in water and will place them in the drawing room. It will look so pretty."

So, he didn't take it with him, just kept it there and went away. Why is he doing all this when now I just don't want to give him any chances? I sighed and looked at her, who was adoring the flowers. Suddenly, Rhea called her, so she kept those flowers on my table and went out.

Looking at those flowers reminded me of Mr. Kapoor, so I stood from my place, took the bouquet, and went to keep it in the living room. I kept it there and went back to my room. When I closed the door and turned back, I saw a paper lying down.

I slowly bent and picked it up to see what it was. But it was something I had never expected. It was a letter from Mr. Kapoor; I think it was kept inside the bouquet. I wanted to throw the letter, but then again, I even wanted to read it.

So I thought, let me just see what was written. Well, his handwriting is so bad that I can hardly understand anything, but still, I tried to be more focused and read it.

It was written, "I am sorry, Inayat, for whatever I did, but trust me, now I regret everything and truly love you. This is no drama, nothing but just honesty from my side. I am trying to change myself now to make myself better for you. But at least give me a chance to show my repentance and guilt towards you. Whatever you say, I will act accordingly, but at least give me a chance, Ina, please."

My mind got stuck on 'Ina.' He had written just 'Ina.'

He gave me a nickname.

If I were the old Inayat, maybe I would have danced with joy, but now everything has changed. For a moment, I thought to forget and forgive, but then I have already suffered so much that if anything else goes wrong now, I will completely shatter. So, I just don't want to take any chances.

Tears gathered in my eyes reading it, but I am determined not to take this relationship further. I crumbled the paper and was going to throw it in the dustbin, but my heart just stopped me. I couldn't throw it away.

So I straightened the paper properly and kept it in my cupboard locker. Then they called me out to have lunch with them, so I went, and then again, I indulged myself into work to forget today's incidents.
