AUTHOR'S POV:

Shivansh took Inayat in his arms and rushed her to the hospital, immediately shouting for doctors and nurses. Everyone knew three of them that is Shivansh Aryan and Advay very well so within seconds, the medical professionals arrived and took Inayat to the operating theatre. 

When they were taking her into the room Shivansh held the doctor's collar and yelled " Treat her quickly. I don't know what you will do but I need her safe or else I will kill you." 

The doctor quickly pushed Shivansh back and replied " Control yourself Mr. Kapoor you can't just behave this way." 

Meanwhile Aryan came and pulled Shivansh back and apologized to the doctor. The doctor just nodded and entered the OT.  As soon as the OT door closed, Aryan left Shivansh and he collapsed on the floor, devoid of any remaining energy to stand. 

Nothing around him seemed visible, only Inayat's face was in his sight. He was completely lost in his thoughts, contemplating every moment they had shared. 

And right then another staff member arrived; remembering Shivansh's previous action with the doctor he did not dare to go near him so he went directly to Aryan and said, "Sir, please fill out these formalities about the patient; and then can we start the operaration until then we are carrying on with the basic treatments." 

Shivansh overheard this and quickly stood up, approaching the staff. He snatched the papers and grabbed his neck and shouted, "What are you trying to say? That treatment can't begin until these formalities are completed? Start everything right away, or if anything happens to her, I will shut down this entire hospital of yours." 

The staff trembled under his hold upon hearing this. Aryan promptly pulled Shivansh and started taking him away and signaled Advay to handle the formalities. Advay nodded, took the papers, and assured the staff that he would complete everything and they can start the operation without any delay. Advay then left for the reception.

Aryan took Shivansh and seated him on a chair. As Shivansh tried to get up and speak, Aryan pushed him back into the chair and exclaimed, " Chup kar yarr chup kar. Tujhe jo karna tha jitna bigadna tha tu kar chuka hai abb please aur kuch kharab matt kar. Tu toh Inayat ko bacha nahi paaya atleast doctors ko toh apna kaam karne de."(Shut up, yrr, shut up. You've done whatever you had to, messed up as much as you could. Now, please, don't make things worse. You couldn't save Inayat, at least let the doctors do their job.) 

The line "Tu toh Inayat ko bacha nahi paya" (You couldn't save Inayat) hit Shivansh hard. He again began thinking about today's events, how Inayat had saved him, and how he couldn't do anything in return. He felt the urge to apologize, cry, and hug her, but now he was helpless. 

The guilt, anger, and a range of emotions overwhelmed him. He covered his face with his palms, rested his elbows on his lap, and closed his eyes, allowing his tears to fall.

Aryan, standing and witnessing everything, felt a deep sense of sorrow seeing his friend cry after many years. However, he knew that what Shivansh had done was unforgivable.

 He couldn't bear to see Shivansh in such a state, also right now he didn't want to console him or make him quiet. So, he walked away from there and approached Advay.

 Aryan and Advay were at the reception, completing the formalities when Aahana arrived with Advik and Adwit. Spotting both Aryan and Advay, they rushed towards them. Aahana worriedly inquired, "Bhai, you called us urgently. What happened? Why are we in the hospital? And where is  Ansh Bhai? Did anything happen to him? No no no this can't happen"  

Saying this she started worrying and tears welled up in her eyes. Advik and Adwit, who were also present, were visibly anxious, and tears glistened in their eyes.

Aryan and Advay knew that they would definitely not calm down soon and they did not wanted to create a mess in the middle of the hospital so they took them to a corner and then Aryan spoke, "No, nothing has happened to Shivansh; he is okay." 

Then Adwit and Advik simultaneously asked, "Then why are we all here in the hospital? What happened? Whose form are you filling?" Both of them practically shouted, as they had been worried since leaving home, wondering why their brother had called them to the hospital.

Aryan glanced at Advay,  and he took a deep breath, and began, "Inayat..." 

He couldn't complete his sentence as Aahana, Advik, and Adwit became increasingly distressed, bombarding him with questions. "What happened to Inu di? Is she in the hospital? But she was supposed to be out for work, right?" 

The trio started crying by now. Advay approached them and said, "I'll tell you everything but first we need to submit this papers. Shivansh Bhai is there outside Inayat's room. Just go and wait there. Room no. 403 on the 4th floor." 

Then he further added "But no one will ask anything to Bhai; I'll come and explain everything. Just go and wait there." 

Advik and Adwit nodded, but Aahana was about to say something when Aryan side hugged her, saying, "Don't worry, nothing will happen. Go and sit there, wait a bit, and we'll come and explain everything. Don't stress." 

Aahana looked at him, and he gave a assuring look then she nodded, and the three of them left.

Advay and Aryan proceeded to handle the payment procedures. While walking, Advay massaged his temples, visibly stressed. Aryan patted his back, reassuring him, " Chinta matt kar chote sab thik hojayega."(Don't worry, chote, everything will be fine.) 

Advay looked at him with moistened eyes, expressing concern, "But we have a lot of things to handle, Bhai." 

Aryan responded, " Its okay believe in God sab hojayega aur Inu bhi thik hojayegi."(It's okay. Believe in God; everything will work out, and Inu will be fine too).  Then two of them then went to take care of the final arrangements.

Aahana, Advik, and Adwit entered the designated floor and found Shivansh sitting on a chair near the room. He appeared completely shattered—messy hair, blood-stained shirt, and his entire body trembling. 

They rushed toward him. This was the first time they were witnessing their brother in such a broken state. Until now, they had only seen a strong Shivansh who never cried. This made them even more worried.  

Aahana sat beside him, placed her hand on his shoulder, and called out to him. Shivansh, with his face covered, looked up at her. His eyes were red from crying, and vulnerability marked his expression. Unable to bear seeing her brother like this, Aahana hugged him.

Shivansh was surprised to see her, and now he felt even more tense about what to tell them about Inayat. Looking around, he saw Adwit and Advik standing, also in tears. 

Breaking the hug, Shivansh stood up, made Advik and Adwit sit, then kneeled down before them, urging them to stop crying. " Please tum log rona band karo. Shant ho jaao. "(Please, you guys, stop crying. I can handle anything but not tears in your eyes. Please, be quiet.)

Aahana, with hiccups, tried to express her concern, " Par bhai Inu dii agar unko..."(But Bhai, Inu dii if...) 

Shivansh didn't let her finish and stood up, stating, "Shhh kuch nahi hoga meri Inayat ko. Usko thik hona hi padega." (Shhh, nothing will happen to my Inayat. She has to get well.) 

Hearing this, the three of them became even more emotional and hugged him from his waist, crying even harder. Shivansh tried to comfort them by caressing their hair.

 Although he was equally broken and worried inside, he knew that his younger siblings needed him right now so he need to handle himself. 

However, three of them couldn't hold back their questions and forgot Advay's instructions. Adwit broke the hug, looked at Shivansh, and asked, " Par Bhai Inu dii ko hua kya hai?" (But Bhai, what happened to Inu dii?) 

Then Advik added, "Aur apne Inu dii ko kuch hone kaise diya? Apne unko bachaya kyun nahi?" (And how could you let anything happen to Inu dii? Why didn't you save her?) 

But Aahana then interrupted saying, "Pakka bhai ko kuch pata nahi hoga abhi pata chala hoga warna bhai humare Inu dii ko kuch nahi hone dete."(I'm sure Bhai did not knew anything; he must have just found out. Otherwise, Bhai wouldn't let anything happen to our Inu dii.) 

She looked at Shivansh and said, " Haina bhaiya?" (Right, Bhaiya?)

Hoping that her assumption was correct. However, seeing their trust and reliance on him made Shivansh feel even worse. He couldn't comprehend how to explain what had happened.

When Shivansh didn't respond, Aahana got up and asked again, " Bhaiya aap chup kyun ho batao na Inu dii ko kya hua hai?"(Bhaiya, why are you silent? Tell us what happened to Inu dii.) 

Taking a deep breath, Shivansh said, " Inayat ko goli hai and uss waqt mein wahi tha." (Inayat was shot, and I was there at that moment.) 

The revelation left all three of them in shock. Advik fell onto a chair and began to cry, while Adwit hugged him, attempting to console him. 

Aahana, on the other hand, continued to stare at Shivansh with disbelief. She asked, " Bhai goli kaise lagi dii ko and agar aap wahan par the toh apne unko bachaya kyun nahi? " (How did Inu dii get shot, and if you were there, why didn't you save her?) 

Not receiving an answer, she shook Shivansh's hand and pleaded, " Bhaiya please kuch bolo aapne aaj takk hume kuch nahi hone diya harr baar hame har cheez se protect kiya then aaj Inu dii ko kyun nahi bachaya? Aap toh pyar karte the na unse toh phir unko goli kaise lagne di? Bhaiya kuch toh bolo please jawab do"(Bhaiya, please say something. Until now, you've never let anything happen to us. You've always protected us. Why didn't you save Inu dii today? You love her, so how could you let her get shot? Bhaiya, please say something.) 

She was now crying uncontrollably, and Shivansh stood in silence, unsure of how to respond.

Just then, someone from behind spoke, "Wo kya bateyga kyunki aaj abhi jo kuch bhi ho raha hai sab uske wajah se hi toh ho raha hai. Inayat agar aaj iss haal mein hai toh sirf aur sirf iske wajah se hi hai. Toh abb kis munh se tum logo ko apni galtiyan batayega . Mein batata hun kya hua hai." (He won't tell you what happened because everything that's happening right now is all because of him. If Inayat is in this state today, it's solely because of him. Now, how will he explain his mistakes to you? Let me tell you what happened.)

They all turned to see Aryan and Advay standing there. It was Aryan who spoke those words with visible anger, and Aahana, hearing his accusations, also became anger but her anger was on Aryan beacuse she thought that he was unjustly blaming her brother. 

She approached Aryan and said, " Yeh kya bakwaas kar rahe hain. Jo kuch bhi hua hai usme mere bhai ki kya galti ho sakti hai? Mere bhai Inu dii se pyar karte the he can never even think of harming him. Zaroor apko kuch galti fehmi hui hai. You can't just blame him like this."(What nonsense are you talking? How can my brother be at fault in whatever happened? My brother loved Inu dii; he could never even think of harming her. You must be misunderstanding something. You can't blame him like this.)

Aryan didn't respond to Aahana; instead, he went near Shivansh, grabbed his collar tightly, and through gritted teeth, said, " Abb tu kuch batayega ya sab kuch mein hi bataun? Galti karte waqt toh socha nahi abb kya soch raha hai. Sabko bata ki tune kya hai."(Now, will you tell everything, or should I do it for you? You didn't think twice before making a mistake, now what are you thinking? Tell everyone what you've done.)

Shivansh pleaded silently with his eyes, urging Aryan not to reveal the truth. However, Aahana intervened, pushing Aryan away from Shivansh and yelled "Yeh kya kar rhe ho Aryan durr raho mere bhai se....Aur kya bol rahe ho bata dunga bata dunga jo baat hai jaldi batao and I am sure mere bahi ki koi galti nahi hogi."(What are you doing, Aryan? Stay away from my brother. And what are you saying? I will tell I will tell just say whatever you have to say. I'm sure my brother is not at fault.)

Aryan looked at her and said, " Jo isne kiya haina tumhe pata chalne ke baad tum khud isko yahan se chale jaane ke liye bologi."(Once you know what he has done, you'll yourself ask him to leave from here.)  

Now Aahana was frustrated she grabbed Aryan's collar and said in a very loud voice, " Baatein ghumana band karo and saaf saaf bolo jo bolna hai." (Stop beating around the bush and just say what is needed to be said.)

Upon hearing the commotion, a crowd of staff had gathered in that area. Advay, in response, gave them a stern look and instructed them to leave, emphasizing not to return unless absolutely necessary. 

Once the staff dispersed, Advay approached Aahana, bringing her away from Aryan. Aahana, visibly distressed, began to cry and pleaded, " Bhai dekho na yeh Aryan kya bol raha hai? Aap bolo na kya baat hai"(Bhai, look at what Aryan is saying. Please tell me what's going on.)

Advay comforted her, " Han bacha mein batata hun pehle baitho and have some water" (Sit down first, and have some water. I'll explain everything.) 

After making Aahana, Adwit, and Advik sit, he went to Aryan and requested, " Bhaiya yeh log sach sunke bahut dukhi hojayenge please inko kuch matt bolo." (Brother, they will be devastated if they hear the truth. Please, don't say anything.) 

However, Aryan was determined to reveal the truth, insisting, " Nahi they need to know everything " 

Aryan then cast a disapproving look at Shivansh, who had been standing quietly, head bowed. Aryan then turned to the three siblings. 

Looking at Aahana, he said, " Tumhe janna tha na tumhare bhai ne kya kiya hai toh suno" (You wanted to know what your brother did, so listen.) 

Then he proceeded to explain everything, starting from Shivansh overhearing the conversation between Inayat and Rhea to him slapping Inayat in front of the hospital, accusing her of harming Aahana, and the subsequent events leading to the gunshot. 

As Aryan unfolded the story, shock and tears overcame the three siblings. They were devastated by the revelation of Shivansh's actions. 

Aahana was in utter shock upon learning the truth. She couldn't believe that her brother had done such things. 

Approaching Shivansh, she held his hand, expressing disbelief, " Bhaiya I trust you aap aisa nahi kar sakte. Aap aise nahi ho. Jo Aryan bol rhe hain wo sach nahi haina. Unko kuch misunderstanding hui haina? " (Bhaiya, I trust you. You can't do something like this. What Aryan is saying can't be true. It must be a misunderstanding, right?) 

Shivansh remained silent, looking down. Aahana, now in tears, pleaded, " Bhaiya bolo na please"(Bhaiya, please tell me.)

However, Shivansh just withdrew his hands and turned away, and Aahana understood his response. She confronted him, holding his arms, " Bhaiya how can you do this to Inu dii???? Apne unpar haath uthaya wo bhi sabke saamne aur wo bhi kyun just becasue you misunderstood her and thought ki unhone mujhe hurt karne ki kosish ki. Apko pata bhi hai uss din unhone apne baare mein na sochke kitni mushkil se meri jaan bachayi thi. Areee mere baare mein chodo apko pata bhi hai unhone apke liye kya kya kiya hai. Aur apne yeh sab kiya. Maine kabhi nahi socha tha ki mere Ansh bhai kabhi aisa kar sakte hain." (Bhaiya, how could you do this to Inu dii? You raised your hand against her in front of everyone just because you misunderstood her, thinking she wanted to harm me. Do you even realize what she went through that day, thinking only about saving my life? Forget about me, do you know how much she has done for you? And you did all this. I never thought my Ansh bhai could do something like this.) 

Shaking him, she continued, "Why did you do this, bhai? Why?"

Unable to handle her emotional reaction, Shivansh cupped Aahana's face, attempting to explain," Bacha please asie matt bolo I just did it because.."(Bacha, please don't say that. I did it because...)

But before he could finish, Aahana jerked his hands away and questioned, " Because what because you thought ki wo hume hurt karenge haina? Toh bhai kya abb hum apko khush dikh rahe hain? Apne ek misunderstanding mein aake unke har ache kaam ko ignore kardiya. Apne notice nahi kiya kya jabse wo aayi hai ghar pe sab kuch badal gaya hai gahr ghar jese lagne laga hai. Mujhse Inu dii hamesha ek badi behen jaisa pyar kiya hai."(Because what? Because you thought she would hurt us? So, do you think we are  happy now, bhai? In your misunderstanding, you ignored all her good deeds. Did you even notice how much has changed in the house since she came? Inu dii has always been like a big sister to me . And look at them,) 

She pointed towards Advik and Adwit, still sitting and crying, " Wo logo ne Inu dii ko apne maa jesa manne lage the dii ne unko itna pyar diya tha. Iss ek mahine mein unhone humari har ek choti badi cheezo ka khayal rakha hai aur bass hum sabka hi khayal rakha hai. Aur apko lagta hai hum bass ese hi unko bhul jayenge and we will be happy without her. Bhaiya hume humari khushi dene ke chakkar mein apne humse humari khushi cheen li. Maine apse yeh umeed bilkul nahi kiya tha. Aap mere wo bhai ho hi nahi jinko mein bachpan se jaanti hun kyunki wo kabhi galat faisle nahi lete the lekin apne iss baar bahut galat kiya hai bhaiya. And abb jab takk Inu dii apko maaf nahi kardeti mein bhi apko maaf nahi kar sakti. "(They started considering her like a mother she took such care of them. In just a month, she took care of every little thing for us. And you think we'll forget her and be happy without her? Bhaiya, in seeking our happiness, you've taken away ours. I never expected this from you. You're not the brother I've known since childhood, who never made wrong decisions. But this time, bhaiya, you've made a grave mistake. And until Inu dii forgives you, I can't forgive you either.)

Tears streamed down Aahana's face as she spoke. It pained her to say these things to her brother, but she knew he had been terribly wrong. She turned away from Shivansh, refusing to look at him. 

Shivansh, feeling guilty and broken, called her in a broken voice, but Aahana didn't turn. 

She stated firmly," Bhai Inu dii ne abb takk akele sambhal liya hai aage bhi sambhal legi apki zarurat nahi hai unhe. And hum sab yahan pe hai so aap chale jaao. " (Bhai, Inu dii has managed alone until now, and she will continue to do so. We're all here for her, so you can leave.) 

Saying this, she left from there, followed by Aryan.  And Shivansh just stood there completely broken.
