SHIVANSH'S POV:
When Vikrant mentioned that he wants to harm Inayat, my anger reached its limit. I shielded Inayat behind my back and responded to him, "Vikrant, if you even attempt to see her now, I will bury you in the ground without a second thought. And mind my words because I won't back off this time"
Suddenly, Inayat grabbed the back of my shirt, and I realized that her wound was bleeding profusely, and she was becoming unconscious. "Shit!" If she loses consciousness now, I won't be able to help her. Everything seems incredibly chaotic.
I held onto her; I could see the pain in her eyes, but her anger spoke louder. She began to shiver, and her blood was flowing heavily. I couldn't bear to see her in this condition. "Please, God, help us. I've never believed in you, but for her, I'll do anything—anything to save her. I can go beyond any limits."
I looked at Vikrant and said to him, "Vikrant, let Inayat go. If anything happens to her because of a mistake, I will end everything for you, understand?"
Vikrant replied, "Shut up! I will never let you both go away, Kapoor sir, both of you are dear to me. I have to take both of you up there( He said pointing at the sky) , and hey Inayat, you will also find your mother up there, right? You rather should be very happy. Finally I am going to give you a chance to meet your mom."
I went blank, hearing his question. Thoughts raced through my mind: Inayat's mom. I never tried to know about her family. Did her mother die?

INAYAT'S POV:
The moment Vikrant was looking at me, Shiv held my hand and positioned himself between us. As Shiv responded to Vikrant, I felt a sense of relief hearing everything he said, but the anger from everything Vikrant had done still lingered. However, when Shiv referred to her as "my Inayat," butterflies fluttered in my stomach, and it felt like I was floating in the air.
But all of my happiness faded away when Vikrant added my mother's name in his conversation with Shiv. I was shocked after hearing him, but slowly, I was losing consciousness. I could feel Shivansh's heart rate increasing every second.
He stood straight in front of me, and his presence made me feel both comfort and fear simultaneously. If something will happen to him, I wouldn't be able to bear it. They would have to go through me before reaching him and his family. I wouldn't let anyone touch them, even if it meant sacrificing myself today. I was determined that nothing would happen to Shivansh.
As I was contemplating all this, Vikrant started laughing again. His sinister laugh transformed my patience into anger. I was boiling with rage when Vikrant said something once again.
Vikrant said, "Okay, enough talking. I don't have much time to ruin on you both. Get ready. Today, finally, I will get my justice."
I was losing my energy slowly, but I desperately wanted to know how he knew about my mom and why he harbored such animosity towards me and Shiv.
Summoning whatever energy I had left, I asked, "Vikrant, before anything else, tell me how you know about my mother and what enmity you hold against me. And why are you after Shivansh?"
Hearing my questions, Vikrant's facial expression changed to anger. He clenched his jaw, gripping the gun tighter, still pointing it towards us.
Suddenly, he shouted, "Shivansh Kapoor has taken everything away from me. My father, his dreams, my family is homeless and helpless today because of him. Now, I will make him and his family go through the same fate."
Tears welled up in his eyes. I glanced at Shivansh, and he looked shocked. I knew Shivansh couldn't do something like this; there must be a misunderstanding. While I was digesting his words, he continued, "And as for my enmity with you..."
He couldn't complete his sentence because, before that, we heard the sound of sirens. It seemed like Advay bhaiya had arrived with the police. Upon hearing this, Vikrant looked behind and saw two cars approaching along with a police van.
He turned towards us and said," I think your saviours are here but today no one can save you. I won't let you both go so easily at this point. I will finish you both." Saying this, he pointed the gun at Shivansh and fired the bullet.

SHIVANSH'S POV:
I could definitely hear the gunshot, but I didn't feel any pain. I opened my eyes, and...NOOOOOOOOO... NOOO... NOOO, PLEASEEEEE NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I felt a sharp pain in my heart. She... MY INAYAT WAS STANDING IN FRONT OF ME... She was about to fall when I moved a bit forward and held her from her waist. That's when I realized the bullet had injured her.
Inayat didn't even shout or say anything. Instead, she just looked at me and smiled. At that very moment, I understood everything. She never lied, she never cheated me, or planned anything against me. It was me who misunderstood her every time. She is a genuinely good and nice person. It's all my mistake; I am the wrong person here. What have I done... Shittttt.
Inayat was hugging me, and the bullet had struck her back, causing severe bleeding. I was numb, unable to move, drowning in guilt and fear.
Suddenly, I heard Vikrant shouting, presumably to one of his men, "Before the police arrive, quickly shoot Shivansh and get out of there. He shouldn't escape so close to death."
Saying this, he started running. Then, I heard another gunshot from behind, and I felt Inayat swiftly change our positions. She was still hugging me, but she turned me around, exposing her back towards the man who shot. And then, the inevitable happened. The third bullet hit Inayat.
I was ready to die in that moment. Inayat stood in front of me like an iron wall, taking the third bullet for me. Tears rolled from my eyes. All the goons were running, but the powerful and rude Shivansh Kapoor was weak here.
I could not protect the girl who protected me today. Who had always protected my family. Who had always selflessly done everything for my family's happiness. I was feeling very guilty. If anything happens to her today I just wont be able to ever see my face again.
I know this is a very wrong time to realise this but now I am sure Inayat loved me always and now I also love her. But what to do Shivansh Kapoor is crazy. He has a habit of doing everything wrong at the wrong time. Shame on myself.
Inayat now leaned completely on me, and she was falling down. I held her, but I had no strength left to stand. I sat down on the road, holding Inayat in my arms. She was bleeding, and my white shirt was now completely red.
She was taking deep breaths, slowly losing consciousness and closing her eyes. I knew I had to somehow keep her awake; I couldn't let her lose consciousness. I didn't know what to do.
I patted her cheeks and said, " Inayat please apni aankhein band matt karna. Inu please please tumne abb takk itni himmat dikhayi please tum abb kamzor matt pado. Tumne abb takk sab sambhal liya tha na please abb aur thodi himmat rakho. Please mere liye abb mein nahi jee sakta tumhe khoke. Please mein tumhe kuch nahi hone dunga. "(Inayat, please don't close your eyes. You've shown so much courage until now. Please, don't weaken now. You've saved my life; please, have a little more strength for me. I can't live without you. You've done me such a big favor, I can't live carrying this burden on my shoulders. I won't let anything happen to you.)
Then, I felt her moving. She was still taking deep breaths, slowly trying to keep her eyes open. She brought her shaky hands near mine, which were on her face.
She held my hands with her shaky ones and whispered, " Aa...Ansh mein thik hun. Are you okay? Apko kahin chot toh nahi lagi na? " (Ansh, I'm okay. Are you okay? Haven't you been hurt anywhere?) That was the line that broke me. She was so selfless and loved me truly, and I had hurt her the most.
Tears rolled down my eyes. I hugged her, pressing her head to my chest, and cried hard. But she pushed me away with her weak hands. I slowly parted from her, keeping her head on my lap.
She looked at me with teary eyes, She was taking long breaths. She was not able to speak much still she said this. She said "Mr. Shivansh Kapoor this was the last time we met. Iske baad se mein kabhi apke saamne nahi aungi. Maine apko maaf nahi kiya hai."(Mr. Shivansh Kapoor, this was the last time we met. I won't come in front of you after this. I haven't forgiven you.)
Then she took a long breath, on the verge of fainting. Suddenly, someone took her away from my lap and hugged her. I looked at the front, and it was Advay. He was hugging her tightly, and Inayat had also kept her hands on his back, but her hands were shaking. She was becoming weak. Advay was crying.
Then he said, "Inu, chalo hospital chalte hain. Main tumhe kuch nahi hone dunga." ( Inayat common let's go to hospital. I won't let anything happen to you.)
He was trying to pick her up, but Inayat said something that made me feel like dying. She said, "Bhaiya, maine kaha tha na main usko ko kuch nahi hone dungi. Dekho, maine aapke Shiv ko bacha liya." (Bhaiya, I told you I won't let anything happen to him. Look, I saved your Shiv.) Advay was now crying loudly and nodded. He quickly picked her up and ran towards the car.
I could not move from there. Suddenly, I felt someone hugging me. I looked at my side to see Aryan. He hugged me, and there I broke down completely.
I was crying hard, but he just patted my back and said, "Ansh, abhi rone ka waqt nahi hai. Hume Inu ko bachana hai. Jaldi chal, usko hospital leke jana hai."(Ansh, now is not the time to cry. We need to save Inu. Hurry up, we have to take her to the hospital)
I had completely forgotten what had happened a few minutes ago. I had forgotten Vikrant, his men, his revenge—everything. Now, only one thing was in my mind, and that was Inayat. We both ran towards Advay's car.
Advay had already laid Inayat on the back seat. He sat in the driver's seat, Aryan on the passenger seat, and I sat at the back. I picked Inayat and adjusted her half body on my lap. They drove us to the hospital.
All the time, I was just praying for her. Her lifeless body was in my arms, and my heart was shivering with pain seeing her like that. All the flashes came in front of my eyes—the first time I saw her, the day she came to our house and made it a home.
Every single moment rolled in my eyes—I felt anger, pain, but most of all, the fear of losing Inayat. I couldn't afford to lose her.
I was lost in Inayat's thoughts when Aryan's phone rang. He glanced at the caller ID and then back at me. Connecting the call to the car's Bluetooth, he greeted the caller.
The voice on the other end spoke, "Mr. Aryan Malhotra, we have caught Vikrant and his other men. We are leaving the scene now. You shot Vikrant and shooting him is illegal, but it was clearly a case of defence. So please come to the police station and file a complaint."
Aryan agreed to come by tomorrow morning and ended the call. Hearing this, I realized that I was so drowned in Inayar that I was just unaware of whatever took place at the scene. I was completely detached during the entire incident. Aryan didn't say anything after the call; he just looked straight ahead.
Then, he instructed Advay, "Advay, drive fast. We need to reach the hospital as soon as possible; Inu's condition is deteriorating."
Aryan's behavior seemed a bit unusual to me, but it was not my concern right now .My focus was on Inayat. I called Aryan and asked, "Aryan, what happened to Vikrant? And how did you guys know that we were in trouble?"
Aryan looked back, glanced at Inayat, and I could see tears welling up in his eyes. However, he composed himself and began to narrate everything.
"Inayat already knew that Vikrant was planning to attack you. In fact, she had informed Advay about it a week ago. However, within this week, so much had happened that we had forgotten about Vikrant's threat. And you know, the last time Vikrant attacked you and you let him go, it was Inayat who had him arrested.
Just like you she had also remembered every detail from two years ago, and she had been in love with you for two years. When Vikrant was released from jail recently, she had kept an eye on him, and this afternoon, she called Advay to inform him that Vikrant was following your car.
We were far away from the location, so it was going to take us some time to reach, and so she decided to protect you herself. Then we called the police and headed to the scene. When we arrived, we saw that Vikrant's men had shot Inayat.
At that moment, you were not in your senses, and I tried to stop Vikrant. I told Advay to take Inayat into the car, and I shot Vikrant in the legs. The police arrested him and his men, and they're currently being taken to jail."
Then Aryan looked back at me and said, "Do you know what she said before going to that place?
She said, ''Bhaiya, I won't let anything happen to your Shivansh. As long as I'm here, nothing will happen to him.'' And yes, she kept her promise; she didn't let anything happen to you.
Hearing all this, I was in shock. I asked him, "What are you saying? Inayat had been in love with me for two years, and she had Vikrant put in jail? But how? And if she loved me, why didn't she tell me?"
Suddenly, Aryan looked back and shouted," Acha aur wo bolti ki she loves you aur tu maanjaata uski baat? Tu bharosa karleta uspe? Kabhi nahi karta tu...kabhi bhi nahi aur yeh baat shayad usko bhi pata tha isliye wo apna sab kuch chod ke tere paas aagayi tujhe uske pyar pe yakeen dilane ke liye. Aur tune kya kiya tune usko hi andar se tod diya." (Oh, and if she had said you that she loves you, do you think you would have believed her ? You would have trusted her? No you would have never believed in her love. Maybe she knew that, so she left everything behind to come to you, to make you believe in her love. And what did you do? You shattered her from within.)
I couldn't comprehend what Aryan was saying, but one thing I agreed with is that even if Inayat had told me, I wouldn't have believed her. If I couldn't understand her in one month, then how would I trust her words?
But now everything was a mess in my mind. I needed to know more about her. She left everything behind. Everything means what? Thinking about this, I looked at Inayat, who was lying in my lap.
Tears again started flowing from my eyes. I couldn't understand what I was feeling right now. I was in guilt, angry at myself, and pitying Inayat for falling in love with such a bad person.
Then I looked at Aryan and tried to ask him about other things regarding Inayat, but he yelled, saying, " Hume jitna batana tha humne bata diya abb iske aage tu mujhse aur advay se kuch nahi puchega....Inayat ne humse mana kiya tha tujhe kuch bhi batane se kyunki wo tujhe apne pyar se jeetna chahti thi....Lekin tune toh usse hi hara diya....Aree mein toh tujhe itna bhi nahi batata lekin tune jo kiya hai na uske liye mein chahta hun ki tu bahut pachtaye aur uske liye yeh cheez janni tere liye zaruri thi....Baaki ka Inayat batayegi agar usne teri shakal dekhni chahi toh. Aur tu sunle please abhi 10 se 15 din takk mere saamne matt aana aur mujhse baat krne ki kosish matt karna warna mein tujhe maarke tera bura haal kardunga."(We have told you whatever needed to be told. Now, you won't ask me or Advay anything further. Inayat had forbidden us from telling you anything because she wanted to win you over with her love. But you defeated her with your distrust. I won't tell you more, Inayat will if she wishes to see your face. And listen, please don't come in front of me for the next 10 to 15 days, and don't try to talk to me. Otherwise, I will hurt you badly.)
Saying this, he looked forward again. Advay wasn't saying anything, but I could hear him crying. I had seen him crying like this when chacha chachi died, and now I was seeing him cry again in this way.
Then I looked at Inayat. Seeing her like this, I felt like dying, and now, after knowing so much about her, I felt even worse.
Suddenly, the car stopped. I looked outside, and we had reached the hospital. I quickly picked up Inayat, and Advay ran to open the back door. I carried her and rushed inside the hospital
