I watched as she boarded the plane. Tears pricked my eyes but I was happy for her. She was getting what she wanted.

I stayed until the plane took off. After, I caught a taxi back to my flat.

I pushed inside and was met by a wall.

"Missed me?" I frozed slowly looking up.

"Z-Zee?" He chuckled. I blinked back more tears and threw my arms around him.

I sat at the bus stop with Lainey. Her bus was gonna arrive any minute. I wasn't one for crying but she's my best friend.

Her bus pulled up. I hugged her tightly before she had to go. Sad she was going but happy she's getting what she always wanted.
