Eternal light

The world is a void behind her.

Unloving, hopeless, desperate,

Lost, shattered, unforgiving.

Yet she shines through the night.

Most see her as weird,

Few see her as inspirational.

She knows not of how her light shines onto those who need it.

Smiling, honest, caring,

Cheery, optimistic, open.

The shadows cannot dim her light ever again.

She knows she is better than that.

She never was one to give spoken advice,

But she never cast a bad look on anyone.

She knew not of how she inspired

The light in others.

She didn't be anything but herself,

Yet she was so much more than she would ever believe.

She didn't cure cancer,

But her gentle smile

Lit up the world.
