Namjoon jumped through bushes following the fairy who easily ran through the forest before suddenly diving into a system of tree roots. Namjoon followed after him. Jungkook started to push him out but Namjoon pushed back and made room just in time for the cat to get there swatting at them trying to catch a snack.

Namjoon and Jungkook were fighting to get as far away from the feline as possible nearly hugging each other. Once the cat realized it wasn't getting them it walked a small distance and waited with its yellow eyes watching them.

"Fuck" Jungkook breathed out finally having a chance to catch some air.

Namjoon scooted closer to the fairy thinking it would give him a chance to run if the cat snatched the fairy. Thinking the fairy would push him away instead Jungkook wrapped his arm around the humans shoulders thinking he wanted comfort.

"He won't wait here all day he will eventually give up. So we wait" he told him in a hushed voice staring back at the cat.

Slowly night fell on them and the cats eyes slowly closed. "I think he's asleep" Jungkook whispered desperate to get back to Jimin. He was exhausted and they needed food.

Namjoon pulled himself off the fairy and sat watching the fairy slowly sneak out gesturing for him to follow. He silently followed him out of the clearing into the safety of the grass. Once they got there Jungkook grabbed Namjoon's hand so he wouldn't get lost and started running with the human stumbling behind him.

They ran until they were out of breath. Once Jungkook stopped Joon fell onto the ground gasping for breath while Jungkook leaned on his knees breathing deeply.

"We are not stopping until we get there the boys are hours in front of us" Jungkook told him much to his distress. Jungkook grabbed his wings spreading them out "they are dry" he said and Namjoon's eyes widened a bit really hoping he wouldn't just leave him.

Jungkook flew a tiny bit off the ground hovering beside Joon "get up let's go" he said anxiously.

"I'm fucking tired let me breath I can't just fly and be ready to go" he breathed deeply his face and body red and sweaty. "I'll carry you" Jungkook said flying behind him and trying to pick him up from under the armpits which didn't help since Namjoon couldn't hold on. His feet bouncing on the ground a few steps before Jungkook set him down and turned him around "hold on to me" he said picking him up and Namjoon had no other choice but to wrap his arms and legs around him and let out a yelp.

Chest to chest with the fairy he stared back at the way they had come from and took a gasp of air when Jungkook started to fly.

"Wow" he said looking down at the ground experiencing something he had never done before. Jungkook's arms were tight around his middle as they flew over the grass and weeds.

"You've never flown before huh?" The fairy asked.

"Like in an airplane yes, but not like this. It's fucking crazy" he gasped slightly shivering. His neck craned as he looked around excitedly.

"Wanna do a loop?" The fairy asked and when Joon turned his head to look at him the fairy just had a subtle smirk. Namjoon nodded and held on tighter feeling the wind of Jungkook's wings beat faster he didn't know he was flipping until he felt his stomach in his lungs and slightly dizzy. He laughed softly and rubbed his nose looking over Jungkook's shoulder at the tiny field they were crossing.

"We will probably be there soon. There is a village right on the border of the swamp and the fairy land. It's neutral territory but it doesn't mean we are welcomed. Jimin and your friend will be there" he informed him.

"Yoongi. His name is Yoongi" he told him half annoyed since he didn't even make an effort to know him. "I wouldn't be surprised if you forgot my name" He muttered.

"I know your name" he said focused on flying. Namjoon huffed and rolled his eyes lazily staring at their surroundings "then what is it?" He asked.

"Joon" he said simply.

"What's my whole name?" He asked.

"Namjoon" he answered slowing down a little bit.

Namjoon looked down seeing a spider in a spider web above them. "Oh fuck no" he wheezed as Jungkook flew under the web. "Scared?" He teased.

"That thing is fucking huge" he said "and I was scared of them when I was big so now that it's fucking giant it's terrifying" he said softly.

"Don't be they are harmless unless you fly into it" he laughed softly before turning around to fly closer to it. Namjoon squeezed him tighter "fuck no!" He shouted.

Jungkook hovered just slightly in the air the light hitting the web just right with the moon so it glistened. "Look" he said and Namjoon opened his eyes again staring at the multi-eyed arachnid.

"Wow" he whispered looking at the water droplets. "But scary" he shuttered a bit watching the spider move closer to them. "Please let's go" he said looking at Jungkook who's eyes were on the creature. "Ok" he said softly flying away.

They flew a little bit more and Namjoon yawned softly letting his head fall on his arms that were around Kooks neck. "Don't slid off" the fairy warned him.

"How much further?" He asked "my legs hurt"

Jungkook hummed "we probably are not very far off I'm sure we will catch up to Jimin if they didn't stop" he talked quietly to himself.

Namjoon let his words blur out as he focused looking at the moon until something Jungkook said made his focus shift to the fairy. "Do you really like Jimin romantically?" He asked.

Namjoon gulped and looked away "I'm...I don't know" he admitted weakly "When I was still big I never really did I was just fond of him and wanted to be his friend...I wanted to be yours too. I was lonely before"

"And now?" He asked a bit of a worried look in his dark eyes.

"Don't worry about it. Jimin would never even look at me that way especially while he has you" Namjoon assured him while his own heart ached in his chest.

"I have every bit of reason to worry. He is my everything. I have nothing without him. Whatever he is I breath to live. Without him I would be nothing and would have nobody" he said his voice bobbing with anxiety.

Namjoon's brow furrowed "really don't worry about it. Have you seen yourself and how protective you are. How sweet you are to only him. He finds that special and you know he holds special to certain things like that. He wouldn't leave you for a guy like me especially one who will be a giant again" he shrugged feeling bad for himself.

In the eyes of everyone he amounted to nothing. His only companions were Yoongi and peppermint.

"But the way he looks at you is how he used to look at me" Jungkook murmured and Namjoon choose to not reply just focus on the fluttering beats of Jungkook's wings.
