The ambulance sirene gets louder as they are making their way towards hospital, Nagisa sat next to her unconcsious body, just staring at her, hoping by any second, she'll wake up by the power of miracle, he, of course, have felt worried for someone before, but he never felt this worried, more than the time when she got into an accident in the past, as he was busy thinking, they arrived at the hospital.

After they arrived, People immediately moved her to a bed and they took her into a different room, while they took Nagisa to another room. as the doctor puts the bandage on him, he heard the voice of people arguing outside, their voice starting to get louder.

"I'm sorry, sir, but you and your wife needs-"

"Get out of my way!"

The lady who was shouting earlier barge into the room, "I'm sorry, I couldn't stop them...", The nurse explained to the doctor, the doctor simply nodded and give her a sign to go away, "What can i help you, maam?", said the doctor, "As you can see, i'm helping a patient right now, can you please wait outside?", the doctor added, "I have no bussiness with you, i just want to talk to that kid over there!", she angrily said as she pointed her finger toward Nagisa, he was surprised.

The lady walk towards him, after she was close enough, she held her hand and she swinged it, slapping Nagisa's face, Nagisa was shook because of her sudden move.

"HOW DARE YOU TOOK MY DAUGHTER'S LIFE AND FUTURE?!"

... was the words that came out of her after her sudden move, that made him realized, she was Takahashi's mother, and he didn't know what to answer, he was still in shock, after all.

"ANSWER ME, YOU LITTLE SHIT!"

She shouted again, "Please calm down, maam, he is quite injured", the doctor said trying to calm her down, "I dont care! He better off dead!", she answered as she broke down crying.

"I'm so sorry..."

Nagisa answered, "Sorry couldn't help her, dammit! Is everything seems that simple to you?!", she answered Nagisa again, "No, it doesn't seem like that, maam", he answered, "Your daughter was... she needed help, and i wanted to help her", he added, "She didn't need your help!", the lady raged. Nagisa standing while looking down, too afraid to look at the lady.

A few minutes later, some people took her outside so that the doctor can continue on taking car of Nagisa's injuries, as he was taken care of, he just stared into the wall, his mind was all blank, everything happened too fast. "Now, you need to lie down, stay there, a nurse will come and check on you later", the doctor ordered him.

He did as what he was told to, after that the doctor left the room, then the room became silent, the silent was rather irritating him, rather than making him calm, suddenly, a nurse came to him, "Your relatives is here", she said and brought someone to the room, apparently, it was Nagisa's mother, "Well, then, i leave you two here", the nurse said and left.

"What were you doing?!", his mother asked angrily, "I thought you said you left to visit a friend, and look what happened! You got into a fight!", she added again, "Explain yourself!", she became furious.

"I.. um... I can't exactly ex-", "Why can't you explain it to your own mother?!"

and there was after that, the long silence.

"Fine, if you can't explain, i'll make you", his mother mumbled and left the room.

He chose to rest, and tried to sleep, of course, he is not in the situation where he could easily fell asleep, he forced his eyes shut, while the next day, he got another visitor, it was an unexpected but at the same time expected guest.

"None of you two were at school, i figured out that you'll ended up here after seeing your decision yesterday", the voice suddenly said.

"K-Karma-kun? but still, how-", "That wasn't a really well-thought decision, honestly i'm surprised", Karma said, cutting Nagisa's words. "Ah, I guess i let it be a lesson for me...", Nagisa answered with a gloomy expression.

"How about her?", he asked.

But Nagisa couldn't answer, the only thing he could do was looking down at his palms, "I take it you either haven't check on her, or she's done for", Karma said again, "Please don't say it like that!!", Nagisa blurted out.

"Hm? Well you didn't answer..."

"Okay then, i'm leaving, might as well check on her...", Karma said while heading towards the door, "So soon, huh...", Nagisa commented, "What? You're going to miss me or something?", he laughed, and left just like that.

Before leaving, he went to check on Takahashi, but visitors aren't allowed to enter her room yet, so he could only see her through door's window, "You're one big mess with him, aren't you?", he mumbled. Coincindentally, the doctor was coming to check her, "Oh? Are you a relative or a friend?", the doctor simply asked, "Just a friend" Karma answered.

"I guess i'll take my leave", Karma said again and about to walk, "Hey, can i talk to you for a second?", the doctor called him.

"Are you friends with the boy who was with her?...uh, this... Shiota Nagisa?", he asked.

"Yeah, why?", Karma answered the question with another question, "Since i think he isn't healed enough to hear this news but..."
