The knife went through her body, just in seconds, blood was coming out of her wounds, she just sat there with a terrified expression, her hands was covered by red blood, her own blood, and that moment, she realized that it was the time for her, her body fell to the ground as her life flashes in front of her own eyes, even every moment that she forget, it was showing clearly in her vision, she knows, that this is was the end.

"Takahashi!", Nagisa shouted as he ran towards Takahashi's body, Makito laughed like insane, "If I can't have her, then no one will, and If she suffered, then people around her should too!", he excalimed, "I loved her, but my family wouldn't let me, so this is the results!", he added again.

Nagisa held her hand, the temperature was slowly changing, "Takahashi! please wake up, wake up!", there was hardly any response, but Takahashi's eyes was wide open, her mind was screaming the words she wanted to tell Nagisa, but there was little to no power in her body, Nagisa is in desperation, he couldn't get any reaction.

"You loved her, you say earlier?", Makito turned around to Nagisa's direction after hearing his voice, "Huh? so what? it's just a stupid old story, why? you're jealous, hero?", he answered with a smirk across his face, Nagisa stared at him, but he can tell that was no normal stare, he could've swear he felt like Nagisa was seeing through his soul, it was that disturbing, even for him who had the mental and soul of a devil.

"... what kind bullshit was that?", Makito shivered, he could've swear that the look in Nagisa's eye was so terrifying that his entire existence could jump out of his body, Nagisa's words just now was unexpected, but unlike usual, he couldn't open his mouth to answer, "You're using that to make this all look like a tragic story just for mercy", Nagisa added.

Nagisa was about to approach Makito when something miraculous happened, something stopped him, a hand covered in blood held his leg, while stuttering and with a weak voice, she whispered, "N-No... Don't... He's... not worthy.. of your... power... don't.. let him.. stain you...", Nagisa looked at her direction, Takahashi used her last bit of strenght just to stop him, she doesn't wanted him to turn into a murderer.

"Once you do it... There's no going back... Please...", she added again, Nagisa, of course, was shocked to hear her words, Nagisa helped her standing up, the wound was getting worse, but she ignored the pain, "Y-You... I won't... let this go!", she exclaimed to Makito, he laughed, "You, right now, only have a few percent of chance to survive, what can you do?", he said.

Takahashi, unexpectedly, took the knife that wounded her, and hold it tight with her right hand, "It's simple...", she said as she raised the knife and glared at him, "If i'm going to die, then you're going with me", she added again, "Ta-Takahashi-san...", She glanced at him as he called her name, she smiled while tears flowing down, "Nagisa.... If anything happen... please.. just let me go... let me be peaceful...", she told her last wish to him.

"This lady sure have a death wish... Ya sure wanna leave the game so early? Did you miss Haruna that bad?", Makito asked, "Don't say her name with that filthy mouth of yours!", she answered as she tried to attack him with the knife, and probably everyone's wondering, how did the dying girl somewhat managed to wake up and even put up a fight? Now, that's what you call miracle and spirit, and she'll keep it going till it all leave her body along with her soul.

She tried to attack non-stop, after a while, she noticed her wound is getting bigger, and she is going to lose a lot of blood again, the prediction is that she's going to be unconscious in about 15 minutes, and Nagisa is getting some help, she can go through this.

That's enough time to beat him, right? she thought to herself, and started attacking again, she sliced his cheek with the knife, and stabbed his right arm, despite that, he didn't even seem to be in pain, she was shocked, Makito ran towards her and immediately hitted her in the face and pushed her to the ground, she struggling to get up, and the knife also fell somewhere as she falls, Nagisa ran towards it and tried to pick it up, but a force was pulling him from the back.

"Try again, kid!", Makito said as he also grabbed Nagisa by hair, he struggled, but he managed to take the knife, he turned and stabbed Makito on the stomach, then Makito started to lose his strenght and almost fell to the ground, "One stab is not enough, i said try again!", he shouted as he took the knife from his wound and began attacking Nagisa.

he kept on swinging the knife but Nagisa kept on dodging his attacks, until Nagisa realized he was cornered, his back bumped a tree, Makito aimed his knife towards Nagisa and he tried to stab him, but Nagisa struggled to dodge him, the edge of the knife was already poking his cheeks, Makito, of course, won't let him get a chance of attacking back.

Suddenly, a really strong force hit Makito in the head, he turned around fiercely, he saw Takahashi half standing covering her wound and holding a medium sized rock on her hand, "Come and end me instead, this is our problem, don't pull him into this", Takahashi said, "Too late, he's already in the moment he met you, he could've stay away, but i guess he just didn't have anything better to do", Makito answered while swinging the knife.

Takahashi throws the rock in her hand and it landed exactly on his face, making his face bruised and his nose bleeding, and Takahashi fell to her knees, while Makito still standing in front her though in pain, "Powerless, now, aren't ya?", Makito said as he slowly make Takahashi look at him by holding her chin

"It doesn't matter whether i died or not now... At least, if i died, i died after knowing the truth, that you're a horrible piece of shit who betrays and murder innocent people, and you're the most poisonous snake in this whole damn world...", she said, "And i get to see someone so dumb to be fooled by my act for over years", Makito answered and kicked her in her wound, she coughed blood, and fell to the ground.

In Nagisa's vision, the scene happened so fast, it doesn't even took half of minute for him, he stand there in horror, "Now, little annoying girl is out of the way, want to avenge your girlfriend? Nagisa?", but he didn't react, Nagisa knew if he choose to fight bare-handed he would definitely lose, he needs a weapon, but Makito is not as strong as before, most of his power is definitely gone after fighting so long, and not to mention that he is injured now.

Nagisa put up his head and looked at Makito, with an even more terrifying glare, more than the one earlier, Makito froze at place, he couldn't move, that eye locked him in place, he was shaking he couldn't hold the knife properly, "Get back, you freak!", Makito said as he tried to get a grip, he slowly take a step back as Nagisa getting more closer.

As he stepped back, he stepped on a rock and fall back, almost landing on Takahashi, who's lying possibly lifeless right next to him, the knife fell a bit far from him, he tried to grab it, but he was shaking so much he can't stretch his arm far enough to reach it, instead Nagisa took it and aimed the knife at Makito, "Since you have become dull, you won't feel a thing, won't you?", mumbled Nagisa.

"Why holding back? Come on! Let's see if you have the guts to shove that thing through my body!", Makito shouted at him, Makito closed his eyes shut surprisingly enough, who would've thought someone like Makito would close his eyes like that?

He was waiting to feel the pain, but he felt nothing, instead he hear the sound of steel hitting the ground, he slowly open his eyes and found the knife was no longer on Nagisa's hand but it was on the ground right next to him, "W-Why...?", he asked with a low tone, Nagisa didn't answer, he was busy trying to heal Takahashi's wound.

Not long after a while, A really bright light came along with a voice, "You stay there! don't move!", the owner of the voice reveal themselves, they were police and they immediately surround Makito while another cop was handcuffing him, "You are under arrest", after the cops called for an ambulance, the ambulance came, they healed Makito's wound and the cop brought him to be questioned.

He don't know what will happen to Takahashi, right now, she is getting taken cared of, but whether she survive or not, apparently it can't be predicted, but of course without being told, he knows, the chances of her surviving after all those are very... slim.

As the ambulance making their way to the hospital, he just sat on the seat inside the ambulance next to unconscious Takahashi, he stared at her, hoping that she is going to show any sign of waking up, he touched her hand.

Her hand was bruised and cold, he hold it tight, "Please wake up... There's so much thing I need to tell... and there's so much thing you can do now that he will no longer bother you... Please", Nagisa mumbled as he closed his eyes.

"If you can't live without me, and so do I..."

I can't keep going without that smile of yours. I need you.
