Atsuko pov
Our final performance had just finished. I was in my and Chieko's dressing room getting out of my costume.
" Think they'll be happy to see us?" My immediate younger sister asked me.
" I'm not sure. I'm sure they'll be surprised." I put on jeans, a black tank top, a brown jacket, and black boots. I left my long mousy brown hair down. Chieko had put her blond hair up in a ponytail. She had a pair of jeans, a white tank top, a blue over shirt, and sneakers on. Just then our two other sisters came in. Etsuko had her chin length blond hair down. She had a jean skirt, a light blue blouse, a red jacket, and black sandals on. Akiko had her orange hair up in a high ponytail. She had a pair of dark jeans, a light yellow tank top, a black jacket, and black high heels on. Akiko squealed.
" Finally going home. After years and years."
" Aki. It's been five years since we saw them."
" But it's been longer since we actually went home. And don't be a spoil sport Chie-onee." Chieko rolled her eyes and continued to get ready. Etsuko spoke up.
" I just can't believe we actually managed to get jobs back home."
"Well our dream always was to open our own theatre company back home. Besides you heard mom. She wants our new sister to have some girls around. The wedding is in three months."

I am the eldest of 17. I have three sisters and 13 brothers. My sisters and I have been living in NYC as Broadway actresses for the past nine years. I have a twin brother Masaomi. We both have mousy brown hair and brown eyes. We are 31. He is a pediatrician. Next is Cheiko and Ukyo. Ukyo is a lawyer. They both have blond hair and blue eyes. They are 29. Next is Etsuko and Kaname. The both have blond hair and hazel eyes. They are 27. Kaname is a Buddhist priest. After them comes Akiko and Hikaru. They both have orange hair and green eyes. They are 26. Hikaru is a cross dresser and a novelist. After them come the triplets, Tsubaki, Azusa, and Natsume. They are 24. They all have violet eyes. Tsubaki has white hair, Azusa has black hair and wears glasses, and Natsume has orange hair. Tsubaki and Azusa are voice actor while Natsume is a game designer. After them comes our adopted brother, Louis. He is 21. He has light ash brown hair and mauve colored eyes. He is a hair stylist. Next is Subaru. He is 19. He has grey hair and grey eyes. He is a college student and a basketball player. Next is Iori. He is 18. He has slate colored hair and hazel eyes. He goes to a special high school. Next is Yusuke. He is 17. He has red hair and red eyes. He is in high school. After him comes Futo. He is 15 and a idol. He has light brown/pinkish hair and brown eyes. Last is Wataru. He is ten. He has light colored salmon hair and brown eyes.

My sisters and I spoke multiple languages as we had traveled abroad a lot. The last time we saw our brothers was five years ago when they came to the opening of a new show that we were all leads in. Wataru had been very small. We were going back home because our mother was remarring. Our new stepfather had a daughter and mom wanted the poor girl to not be surrounded only by boys.

I sighed and smiled.
" Let's go home."

We got what we needed. The rest would be shipped home. I had my laptop of course with me. Also my telephone, tablet, and chargers. We rode in first class.

When we landed we got our luggage and went to my car which mother had insisted on me leaving at home. She had had it taken to the airport when she found out we were coming home. We all put our bags away and I got in the drivers seat while Cheiko got in the passenger seat. We still had the keys for home so we could go in. Our brothers had no idea we were coming so soon, so we thought it would be fun to surprise them. I dropped Chieko off at Ukyo's office and the other two at home while I took a taxi to where my twin worked. I knew he would be working today.

I went to the receptionist.
" Hello. How may I help you?"
" Is Dr. Asahina in?"
" Yes he is. Shall I get him?"
" Actually. I'm his twin sister. I was hoping to surprise him. Where is he right now?"
" He is currently in his office. Would you like me to show you there?"
" Please." The nurse showed me to my twin's office.

I quietly opened the door to see my twin filling out some paperwork. I quietly snuck up behind him and put my hands across his eyes.
"Guess who?"
" Ats?" I giggled and uncovered his eyes.
"Correct." He stood up and spun me around.
" What are you doing back?"
" Mom is getting remarried. She wanted us to come back to help our new sister adjust. Besides now the four of us are officially heads of our own theatre company here." Masa smiled.
"Congratulations. I'm glad you're back. Hopefully for good."
" Minus a few trips here and there yes. We are back for good."
" Good. I missed you."
" Missed you to Masa." We spent the rest of the day catching up.

We went home and I couldn't wait to see my brothers. Masa said we could stop by Natsume's place first. I agreed. I missed one of my favorite little brothers. When we arrived Natsume came out to greet Masa.
" Masa-oniisan. What are you doing here?"
" I have a surprise." I got out and Natsume looked shocked.
" Atsuko-onee. You're back?"
" Yep. I'm back." I hugged him and he hugged me back.
" Wow. Look at you. You look amazing." I giggled.
" Thanks. You don't look so bad yourself. The other girls are with me. We own our own theatre company now."
"Congratulations. I'll see you soon." I nodded and Masa and I got back into the car.

" So has our new sister moved in?"
" Yeah. She moved in two days ago. She's interesting. Her name is Ema. I think you'll like her."
" Good."
" Wait until you see Wataru. He's growing up. He still acts childish though." I smiled.
" I can't wait. Oh. How is Azusa?"
" He's fine. He and Tsubaki are doing pretty well. Oh. Futo may be there. I'm not sure. Hikaru said he won't be back till right before the wedding."
" Not surprised. He's normally pretty busy."
" Yeah. So are you glad to be back in Japan?"
" Very glad. Don't get me wrong I loved New York City but I missed Japan." We continued to talk on the way home.

When we entered Wataru came running up. He hugged Masa.
" Masa-nii. You're back."
" Yes. Say hello to Atsuko." Wataru looked at me then grinned. He tackled me in a hug.
" Oneesan. You're back to stay?" I bent down.
" I am. I'm back for good."
" Yay!" I stood up and smiled. Just then Azusa and Tsubaki came in. They both grinned to see me. Tsubaki flung his arms around me.
" Oneesan!"
" Hello Tsubaki." Azusa pulled his excited twin off. He gave me a hug.
" Glad to have you back."
" Glad to be back."

We went to the living room. We all sat down and caught up. Yusuke came in with a young girl following.
" Atsuko-onee. Is that you?"
" It's me kiddo." He rushed down the stairs and gave me a hug. I gave him a hug back. I noticed the girl. I stood up.
" You must be Ema. I've heard a lot about you. I'm Atsuko. I'm Masa's twin."
" It's nice to meet you. I didn't know they had a sister."
" As a matter of fact they have four. Chieko is with Ukyo right now and I don't know where the other two ran off to. I dropped them off here."
" We're here." Etsuko said coming down the stairs. Akiko squealed and ran over.
"You are so cute. I'm glad we have a cute little sister."
" Because before she showed up you were the little sister?" Chieko said coming in with Ukyo. I snickered and went over to Ukyo. He pulled me into a hug.
" Hey there."
"Hey you. I hope Chie didn't give you too much of a fright."
" Surprisingly no. She behaved." I smiled. Just then I felt two arms wrap around my neck.
"Atsuko-nee." I smiled.
" Hello Iori." I turned to see my other favorite little brother standing there. Just then the elevator dinged to reveal Kaname, Subaru, and Futo. Kaname smiled at seeing us.
" Well well. Our sisters have arrived." Etsuko smiled and tackled her twin to the ground. I shook my head and smiled. Subaru came down and sat down. I went over.
" Hey kiddo. You okay?"
" Yeah. I'm fine. Just tired from practice." I nodded.
" Well. I better go unpack." Before I could move I felt someone hold onto me tightly. I looked to see Futo hugging me tightly. I patted his head and then tickled his sides to get him off.
"I'm gonna go unpack. See you all later. Ema. It was nice meeting you." I went to the room I shared with Masa.

Masa came with me and helped me. I put my hair up in a messy bun.
" Where's Louis?"
" He had work. He should be home soon." I nodded.
" Good. I really missed all the craziness." Masa chuckled.
" You probably still had to deal with craziness."
" Not as much. It's funny how when you remove the last two twins from each other, things get somewhat more peaceful." The door opened to reveal Louis.
" Atsuko-oneesan. You're back."
" Yep. I'm back." Louis sat down and played with my hair. I smiled. I let him do it while I worked on my computer.
" There. All done."
" Thank you Louis."
" No big deal. I enjoy it oneesan. I'm gonna go. See you at dinner." After he left Masa and I talked and unpacked.

After dinner was over Chie and I began to clean up. Masa came in and pulled me away.

We went to our room. I collapsed on my bed. Masa chuckled and sat down.
" Thought so. You're tired."
" Shut up." He chuckled and put my head in his lap. Masa petted my hair and massaged my head. I closed my eyes and sighed with relief. I heard Masa chuckle.
" You haven't changed."
" Were you expecting me to brother?"
"No. Well. Maybe a little." I opened my eyes to see worry in his.
" What's wrong?"
" It's just you've been gone for so long. Honestly I was worried that you all would forget about things."
" Things or people?"
"Both. You've been living in an entirely different culture."
" So has Hikaru."
" But he comes back to visit." I frowned.
" Are you mad at me?"
" No."
"Yes you are. I thought we talked about this."
" No. You said you four were going to study theatre. You left without much discussion."
" Because I'm not a child Masaomi. I am the same age as you. I had talked to mother and she agreed it was for the best. She said maybe a break is just what we need."
" A break from what exactly?" I sat up. I did not like where this conversation was going.
" From what? Maybe from all the fighting and bickering. Maybe from the fact that one of our brothers was being shut out by some other members because of a choice he made. Being the only girls isn't easy. I didn't need your permission to follow my dream and further my career brother."
" I didn't say you did."
" No. Not out loud you didn't." I stood up and got my jacket and keys.
" I don't want to talk about this right now. I'll be back." I took my purse and phone and walked out. I saw Ukyo and he tried to stop me. I knew he had heard the argument. I shook my head telling him to leave me alone. He let me leave reluctantly.

Before I could walk out the door I felt a hand grab my wrist. I turned to see Masa.
" Let me go."
" Look. I'm sorry."
" That doesn't fix it Masa." I tore my arm free. I turned back around then spoke.
" I'll be back. Just let me cool off." I walked out and got my car.

I went to Natsume's place. He came down when I called him.
" Hey."
" Hey. Can I stay here for a bit?" He nodded and motioned for me to come up.

He fixed me tea and sat down across from me.
" What happend?" I sighed and told him the whole story. He sighed.
" You two never fight like that." I smiled wryly.
" Not any more. If we do we just don't let you all see it. You should know that Masa and I have argued before."
" Yeah but normally you don't storm out." I playfully hit my favorite brother.
" I did not storm out. I quietly left." Natsume snickered.
"Still the same after all this time." I groaned. I looked upset.
" What exactly were you all expecting? And it's not like I completely cut off contact. I stayed in touch. And it's not like we had a lot of free time. We were working hard."
" I know that. I think Masa-nii knows that he just worries about you. It was hard for him to see his twin take off during a very important part of his life. I know Azusa and I certainly worried when you just took off." I gave him a look and sighed.
" I did not just take off. I told you all where we were going and why." He held his hands up.
" Hey. Don't get mad. It wasn't easy for us. To have you most of our lives and then one day you all weren't there. You missed a lot." I glared at him.
" I know that Natsume. I know I missed a lot. And honestly I wish I could go back and change things. But I can't. We all dealt with dad's death differently. For me and the girls we needed to get away. We needed a break." He held his hands up and chuckled.
" I get it. And you all did try to come back for important moments. And we appreciate that. But nothing changes the fact that you all still weren't here." I groaned and layed down. I closed my eyes.
" I hate you sometimes."
" Yeah yeah. Why did you really leave the argument?" I opened my eyes.
" I guess I was hoping that Masa would be more supportive. I was hoping he wouldn't be mad. But part of me knew he would be." Natsume sat next to me.
" At least you're here now. That counts for something." I smiled and sat up.
" I meant to ask. How are you?" Natsume looked away.
"I'm fine. I have a good job that I like."
" Don't lie to me."
" I wish I could go back and change things. Subaru won't speak to me." I sighed.
" That doesn't surprise me. I knew he was shutting you out. Should I......"
" Don't worry. I think pushing him might make it worse. He'll talk when he wants to." I sighed and smiled sadly.
" Yeah. You should come to the theater sometime."
" I would like that. Now. You should go back. I'm sure they're worried about you."
" They worry about you also Natsume. And don't tell me they don't. No matter what family is family."
" Yeah. Thanks. I'll see you soon."

When I entered the house I found Azusa waiting for me. I smiled wryly.
"Hey you. Shouldn't you be sleeping little monster?" He looked up and smiled when he saw me.
"Couldn't sleep." I shook my head.
"No different then the little boy who used to crawl into bed with me to sleep."
" I can't help worrying about my eldest sister."
"I know."
" We heard what happened. Ukyo-nii and Masa-nii were arguing pretty loudly." I looked worried. Azusa noticed and chuckled.
" Don't worry. They argue." I gave Azusa a look.
" You and I both know that their arguments are never in front of others."
" Yeah. I think Masa-nii is still awake. Ukyo-nii probably is also. Masa-nii felt really guilty about your argument." I sighed.
" I'll go talk to him. And you go get some sleep." He stood up and began to leave.
" Yeah. Yeah. Night."
" Good night. Azusa." He turned around. Before he could leave I spoke.
" Go visit Natsume some time. He's feeling like we pushed him away."
"I will. Sleep well."
"You also."

I went up to my room and opened the door and found Masa sitting at a desk sound asleep. I went over and brushed some hair out of his face.
" What am I going to do with you?"
" That's my line." I chuckled and sat on the bed. Masa stretched and came over. He pulled me close.
" I'm sorry. I should have never argued like that with you."
" Fights happen. I would be lying if I said I hadn't been excepting some of you to be upset. Which reminds me I probably need to go check on Ukyo. I heard some certain two brothers of mine argued." Masa chuckled.
"Azusa told you then. Go check on our younger brother. He's worried."

I went to Ukyo's room. I opened the door and I saw my brother looking, exhausted, over some paperwork. I chuckled and leaned against the doorframe. Ukyo turned around. He smiled with relief when he saw me.
" Atsuko-oneesan. You're back."
" I am sorry to make you worry."
" It's fine. I'm glad you're back safely."
" It appears I worried you when you should have been resting."
" Don't worry about it sister. I'll get some sleep now that you are back safely. You should as well. Good night oneesan."
" Good night little brother."

I went to my room to find Masa fast asleep. I smiled and texted Natsume telling him everything was fine and I was back safely. Then I put my phone on the bedside table and got changed into pajamas. I layed down next to my twin and put my head on his chest. He sighed with relief and pulled me close. I sank into the warm embrace of my twin and fell asleep.

It was going to be a crazy and fun time home.
