Lucas pov

Earlier Jace and I were attacked by a demon. I was trying to protect her but I failed. I must be a horrible mate because I couldn't protect her. I'm not strong like Liam. So it's harder to fight. I don't want to play with her heart like Liam will do. I want to love her. Liam wants to be alpha but he can't until Grace accepts him.
I soon wake up to see Jace sleeping on my chest. I smile alittle and kiss her forehead. She's so adorable. I should probably go her home now.

I pick Jace up and carry her home. Jace shivered and put my jacket on her. Soon as I get there I see Grace with a worried look on face and Liam was with her asleep next to her. I slowly opened door. Grace gave me a weird look. "Where have you been with my sister." Grace asked as fear went through my body.
