"So, where'd you say dad was" Lorelei asked. "Away on business" Emily said. "Location's top secret" Lorelei asked. "Oh Germany" Emily said.

"Germany, is dad's firm ensuring Nazi's now" Lorelei said. "Your father doesn't know any Nazi's" Emily said. "I know mom I was just" Lorelei said and stopped. "What" Emily said. 

"Joking" Aurora said. "She was joking" Rory said. "Oh, hard to tell" Emily said. "Yeah well" Lorelei said.

"Oh, I'm afraid I have some bad news Claudia died" Emily said. "Who" Lorelei asked.

"Claudia your cousin Claudia" Emily told Lorelei. "We have a cousin named Claudia" Aurora asked Rory who shrugged. "Claudia" Emily said to Lorelei.

"I'm hearing the name mom I have no idea who that is" Lorelei said. "Claudia's your cousin for all intents and purposes" Emily said.

"Oh, now we're getting to it" Lorelei said. "She was your father's grandmother's sister's girl so to you that would make her" Emily said and Lorelei interrupted.

"Nothing" Lorelei said. "Regardless the funerals on Thursday I thought we'd all go together" Emily said.

"Ugh not another funeral" Aurora whispered remembering Violet's funeral.

"Oh, wow two problems one impossible to get away from the inn on Thursday two I've never met this woman" Lorelei said. "You most certainly have" Emily said. "When" Lorelei asked.

"Several times" Emily said. "I'll take one" Lorelei said. "We went to her house in Grant to see the first moon landing she'd just gotten a new philco" Emily said.

"I have no memory of this whatsoever" Lorelei said.

"Rory, Aurora, correct me if I'm wrong but men have walked on the moon regardless of whether your mother remembers it or not" Emily said.

"That's the rumor" Rory said. "I know that men have walked on the moon I just don't know Claudia" Lorelei said. "So, you're not going" Emily asked.

"Not this time" Lorelei said. "I don't think Claudia's planning to die a second time" Emily said.

"Well unless she's a vampire from the vampire diaries" Aurora said jokingly. "Mom I couldn't go if I wanted to" Lorelei said. "Fine" Emily said, and it was silent for a moment.

"Oh, wait Rudolph GottFried" Emily said. "Another cousin" Lorelei asked.

"No, a Nazi we knew I'd forgotten we stayed with him once in Munich nice old man interesting stories" Emily said.

"Mom, you socialized with a known Nazi that's inspectable that's heinous" Lorelei said. "No dear that was a joke" Emily said. Aurora and Rory laughed, and Lorelei looked at them.

"What" Aurora said and continued to eat her food.

"Hey, I have an idea for a new reality show" Lorelei said once Rory and Aurora made their way to her. "Oh yeah what is it" Aurora asked.

"How about everyone just looks out their freaking kitchen window for a change" Lorelei said. "Ooh she's cranky this morning" Rory said.

"Did you have your coffee" Aurora asked Lorelei. "Yes, I did but thanks" Lorelei said.

"Then what's up" Aurora asked Lorelei. "Let's just say the world's got a formidable opponent" Lorelei said and turned off the TV. "Wait shouldn't you be baking" Rory asked Lorelei.

"I don't know shouldn't you be knitting" Lorelei asked. "Mom the Chilton bake sale is today" Rory said.

"I know I got it covered" Lorelei said. "They expect the things to be homemade" Rory said.

"I know" Lorelei said. "Oh, do they now, I thought that was just for show" Aurora said jokingly and Rory glared at her. "By someone other than Dolly Madison" Rory said.

"I said I have it covered" Lorelei said and got up. "All of the parents pitch in so this is really, really important you know that  right" Rory said.

"Oh, I didn't know in that case I don't have it covered I have it covered get your stuff and hit the stereo were late" Lorelei said.

"Also, Rory, try to relax some okay have a little faith in mom" Aurora said.

"That's not me" Rory said motioning to the stereo and opened the door where they saw Lane dancing. "Where does your mom think you are" Lorelei asked and Lane turned off the stereo.

"Oh, uh on a park bench contemplating the reunification of the two Koreas" Lane said. "Not here skanking to Rancid" Lorelei said.

"Wouldn't be included" Lane said. "School" Lorelei said, and Aurora got a text.

"Thats Tristian, I told him we were running late and instead of going to school he's parked outside waiting for me" Aurora said. "Go I'll take Rory" Lorelei said.

"Okay bye mom" Aurora said and kissed Lorelei's cheek and left.

"So why were you late this morning" Tristian asked Aurora as he drove her home. "Just everyday things at the Gilmores" Aurora said.

"So how come your sister doesn't ride with us" Tristian asked. "I think she likes riding the bus" Aurora said. "She likes the bus" Tristian asked.

"Cause of a guy she has a crush on she thinks I don't know but I'm not blind" Aurora said. "Well, you were when that guy asked you out" Tristian said.

"He wasn't my type you know this" Aurora said and Tristian smiled.

"Besides if I were to be with someone, I'd have to trust him first and I'd have to know I could always count on them" Aurora said and Tristian smiled at her.

"Don't worry Rora if any guy doesn't treat you the way you deserve, he's an idiot" Tristian said.

Aurora waved bye to Tristian and went inside. "Rory, Mom" Aurora said looking for them.

"Where are you" Aurora asked and Rory walked in front of her. "There you are" Rory said. "Hey where's mom" Aurora asked.

"With Sookie but we need to go get her come on I'll explain on the way" Rory said.

"Can I get changed" Aurora asked. "Quickly" Rory said, and Aurora went to her room and changed quickly heading back downstairs. "Let's go" Aurora said and left with Rory.

"Mom you'd better come" Rory said once she and Aurora found Lorelei. "What's wrong" Lorelei asked.

"It's Cinnamon" Aurora said and Lorelei left with Rory and Aurora, and they quickly went to Babette and Morey's. "Babette honey" Lorelei said once she walked in with Rory and Aurora.

"Oh, Lorelei come in, come in" Babette said and Lorelei went to Babette. "She's gone Cinnamon's gone" Babette said.

"Oh, I'm so sorry" Lorelei said. "Is there anything I can do for you Morey" Rory asked.

"This is life Rory it breaks your heart" Morey said.

"She looked like she was sleeping I thought she was asleep, so I nudged her, and she didn't wake I gave her a push and she rolled off the couch and since I'd just waxed the floor she went shooting across the room and when she knocked over the lamp and she still didn't move I knew it was over oh god my baby" Babette said.

"I'm sorry Babette" Aurora said going to her. "Tell me it wasn't the" Morey said when Babette interrupted him.

"Morey don't do this to yourself he thinks it was the clams" Babette said. "She saw me eating them she gave me that hey what's up look" Morey said.

"It wasn't the clams Morey in human years this cat was 260 years old" the vet said.

"That's a good long life" Lorelei said. "Listen why don't you let me take her out to the van then I'll get out your way" the vet said.

"Oh no stay all of you please stay Cinnamon would want you here" Babette said. "Cinnamon was my first friend" Aurora said. "We'll stay as long as you want" Rory said.

"I'll never eat clams again" Morey said. "Me either" Rory said comforting him.

"They said they rolled her body into a lamp" Lane said. "Did you laugh" Lane asked and Rory shook her head.

"No but it's still not something you hear every day" Aurora said. "Did you want to" Lane asked.

"I didn't but I think Rory did" Aurora said. "But it's sad" Rory said.

"Yeah, it's sad" Lane said. "Can't imagine how Babette and Morey is handling all of this" Aurora said.

After spending some time with Lane, Aurora went to find Rory where she saw her with a guy and made her way to her when he left along with Lorelei.

"Do you know him" Lorelei asked. "Don't tell me I need to get my taser" Aurora said.

"No" Rory said. "No" Lorelei said. "And why does it sound like you do" Aurora asked.

"Well, he goes to our old school, so I'd see him there sometimes but uh I go to Chilton now with Rora" Rory said. "Thanks for the update" Lorelei said.

"You're welcome" Rory said. "Yeah, you're not fooling me he seems nice he has my approval but if he wants it even more, he should get me a milkshake" Aurora said and left.
