"Shopping for school supplies party" Lorelei said. "Mom, you didn't have your come" Aurora said.

"Nobody demanded that you come" Rory said. "Are you kidding how often do you get to do things like this I was thinking while we're going crazy, we should get some toilet paper and a plunger next" Lorelei said.

"I'll just do this later" Rory said. "No, I'm teasing come on get that list of yours" Lorelei said. "Was she this crazy when you first started" Rory asked.

"Worse but come on get out your list" Aurora said and they walked in the supermarket. "I need legal pads" Rory said. "Got it" Lorelei said. "Tons of pens" Rory said.

"Right" Lorelei said. "Some number two pencils, three highlighters, an eraser, a staple remover, and a folder" Rory said.

"You need three highlighters" Lorelei asked. "Yes" Rory said. "Three" Lorelei said. "Yes" Rory said. "That's a very random number" Lorelei said.

"Three is not a random number" Rory said. "No, I mean how did you get to the number three" Lorelei asked. "I'm with mom why do you need there" Aurora asked.

"One dries up, one gets lost, I have one left" Rory said. "You've really thought this out" Lorelei said.

"I can't have purple" Rory said. "Yes, you can they're on sale" Lorelei said. "I'm going to a serious school now I need serious paper" Rory said.

"Paper's paper" Lorelei said. "Not at Chilton" Rory said. "Alright fine here's your serious paper" Lorelei said and put it in the basket.

"Thank you" Rory said. "Rory does make a point you don't see anyone at Chilton with purple paper" Aurora said.

"Ooh and here are your somber highlighters, your maudlin pencils, your manic-depressive pens" Lorelei said putting them in the basket.

"Mom" Rory said. "These erasers are on Lithium, so they seem cheerful, but we caught them trying to shove themselves in the pencil sharpener earlier" Lorelei said.

"I'm going home now" Rory said. "Please take me with you" Aurora said linking her arm with Rory's.

"No wait we're gonna stage an intervention" Lorelei said as Aurora and Rory left.

"With the neon post its and make them give up their wacky crazy ways" Lorelei said. "You're never coming shopping with me again" Rory said. 

"Oh, here's a card tray" Lorelei said. "Leaving now" Aurora said.

"Refer to the study materials that I gave you at the beginning of the month and those extensive notes I know you've been taking" Mr. Medina said.

"Hey, don't stress about it too much you'll make it up" Aurora told Rory.

"Thanks, Rora" Rory said and Aurora nodded before leaving once she spotted Tristian waiting on her.

"How'd you do" Tristian asked. "Got an A" Aurora said. "I knew you would" Tristian said.

"Well got to keep it up if I'm going to go to Yale" Aurora said. "You'll get in they'd be crazy not to take you" Tristian said and Aurora smiled at him.

"We still on for tonight" Tristian asked. "I wouldn't miss it" Aurora said.

"Good I'll text you when I'm on my way" Tristian said. "Great see you then" Aurora said. "Hey Tristian" Aurora said when he was about to leave.

"Yeah" Tristian said. "Thanks for saving me that night" Aurora said.

"You don't need to thank me you're my best friend I couldn't live without you I couldn't imagine not living without you your everything to me Rora okay if you died it would feel like I die too okay you have no idea how much you mean to me you mean more than you'll ever know" Tristian said.

Aurora smiled at him, and they went their separate ways.

"Oh" Lorelei said once she saw Aurora and Rory walk in. "Behold in theaters now the two things that reads a lot" Lorelei said and Rory dropped her bags.

"Chocolate" Rory asked. "Glass measuring cup oh and Rora there's cake for you in the fridge" Sookie said and Aurora put her bags down.

"Thanks Sookie" Aurora said and got the cake out of the fridge grabbing a fork eating it. "Lorelei look, look" Sookie said pointing to the paper.

"I'm sorry" Lorelei said. "Jeez who's naked" Rory asked. "Uh Lucent Mills food critic" Rory said.

"Yeah, how's his butt" Rory asked. "Ew don't say that I'm eating cake over here" Aurora said. "Oh no he's supposed to do a review of the restaurant" Lorelei told them.

"Oh, here it is" Lorelei said once she found the review. "Is it good, is he mean, should I cry" Sookie asked.

"Here we go the words divine, delectable and delirious don't begin to describe the delicious experience of dining at the impedance inn" Lorelei said reading the review.

"Oh, I'm smelling rave" Lorelei told Sookie. "Really" Sookie said.

"Only chef Sookie St James can make a simple salad of hot house tomatoes and assorted fresh herbs seem like a religious experience her lobster bisque is worth every sinful cream filled rich sip" Lorelei said reading the review.

"See I don't use that much cream I just use a very concentrated lobster stock and it really makes it" Sookie said when Lorelei interrupted.

"Sookie he's not here" Lorelei said. "Okay go on" Sookie said.

"The entrees are as heavenly as the starters though the much-lauded risotto was perfectly fine it was the simple handkerchief pasta with brown sage in a butter sauce that sent me through the roof" Lorelei said reading the review.

"Sookie this is unbelievable I'm going to have this framed for the dining room" Lorelei said.

"Oh yeah that's swell" Sookie said. "Can I see that again" Sookie asked. "Yeah" Lorelei said giving her the magazine.

"So, we should celebrate huh" Lorelei said making her way to Aurora and Rory. "Girls on the town" Lorelei said. "I can't I have to study" Rory said.

"I have plans with Tristian then after we're going to his place to study" Aurora said. "You know I should really get started on this shopping list" Sookie said.

"What is going on here we are young and fiery women studying, shopping lists, where's to heck with it all where's throwing caution to the wind where's oh shoot the linen delivery" Lorelei said and quickly left. "You go girl" Rory said.

"You know I gotta admit that movie was better than the last one" Aurora said. "Way better" Tristian said and Aurora smiled.

"Have I ever told you how much I love your smile" Tristian asked.

"No, I don't think so" Aurora said. "Well, I do every time I see it, it brightens my day" Tristian said and Aurora smiled. "Come on we should get to your place and study" Aurora said.

"Ugh did you have to say that" Tristian asked. "Come on I'll even stay over and maybe we can go swimming or do something later" Aurora said.

"Alright fine" Tristian said and suddenly picked Aurora up before placing her on his back.

"Tristian" Aurora said laughing. "And we're off" Tristian said rushing off with Aurora on his back while she laughed.

Later that night Aurora and Tristian got finished studying and Aurora ended up falling asleep on Tristian's bed.

Tristian looked over and smiled at her before putting her hair behind her ear.

Tristian laid beside her and covered her up before turning off the light and fell asleep for the night.

"Try not to stress I know Chilton is tough, but stressing isn't going to help" Aurora told Rory once she saw Rory threw her pencil. "Here" Luke said giving Rory food. "What's that" Rory asked.

"You look like you need pie" Luke said. "I do" Rory asked. "Violent pencil tossing usually signals a need for pie" Luke said.

"What if I had thrown a pen" Rory asked. "I'd bring a trout" Luke said. "What" Rory said. "I don't make the rules I just carry them out" Luke said.

"Aurora your cheese fries" Luke said giving her the food and walked away when Lorelei walked in.

"Hey backwards baseball what new look for you" Lorelei told Luke.

"She's eating pie did she even eat dinner" Lorelei asked motioning to Rory. "You raised her I just serve" Luke said.

Lorelei made her way to Rory and Aurora and sat next to Aurora. "Careful she's in a violent pencil throwing mood" Aurora said jokingly. "Oh, hello bookworm" Lorelei said to Rory.

"Finally, where were you" Rory asked. "Well, um actually I was in Hartford" Lorelei said. "Why" Rory asked.

"I was there for the" Lorelei said when Rory interrupted. "Parent teacher meeting oh my god" Rory said realizing. "Yeah" Lorelei said. "I forgot" Rory said.

"Hey, I reminded you about it yesterday before I left you just had your nose stuck in your book" Aurora said.

"It went very well was extremely charming I won the whole crowd over they made me queen" Lorelei said. "All hail queen Lorelei Gilmore" Aurora said jokingly, and Lorelei smiled at her.

"So, I guess you talked to Mr. Medina" Rory said to Lorelei.

"Mm-hm why did you let me whine about ice cream and shoe sales when you had something major going on" Lorelei asked.

"You didn't tell her" Aurora asked Rory who shook her head. "I know" Rory told Lorelei.

"I hate when I'm an idiot and I don't even know it I like to be aware of my idiocy to really revel in it take pictures I feel we missed a prime Christmas card opportunity" Lorelei said.

"I'm sorry" Rory said. "You should've told me" Lorelei said. "I couldn't" Rory said. "You couldn't tell me you tell me and your sister everything" Lorelei said. "It was too humiliating" Rory said.

"Rory it's nothing to be embarrassed of everyone gets bad grades" Aurora said.

"Oh, honey you once told me that you loved saved by the bell what could be more humiliating than that" Lorelei asked.

"I couldn't form the words I couldn't even say it I couldn't even comprehend it; it was a D I got a D I've never gotten a D ever" Rory said.

"I know" Lorelei said. "Even when I broke my arm and couldn't write for a month, I still got an A" Rory said. "That was a different school" Lorelei said.

"I know it was stars hollow high a D at Stars Hollow is like an F at Chilton it's worse it's like a G or W" Rory said.

"This is Chilton Rory I get that it's hard but it's just one grade you'll make it up" Aurora said.

"So, I'm guessing the spelling test didn't go well either" Lorelei said. "A D I suck" Rory said.

"What no you don't" Aurora said. "You don't suck" Lorelei said. "I can't do this" Rory said. "Yes, you can" Aurora said.

"Listen a D is bad okay but all this talk about I suck, and I can't do this and self-pity that's worse that's not you, you didn't feel sorry for yourself when it took three months to learn how to ride a bike and you won't now" Lorelei said.

"Four months" Rory said. "Huh" Lorelei said. "It took her four months" Aurora said. "Really four months" Lorelei asked.

"Yeah, you wanna belabor the conversation" Rory asked.

"Alright forget about the bike listen a D is one grade like Rora keeps telling you it's not the end of the world you'll catch up you'll do better you are of hardy stubborn stock my dear if there's one thing, I gave you it's my stubbornness" Lorelei said.

"I'm not stubborn" Rory said. "Yes, you are" Lorelei said. "No, I'm not" Rory said. "Fine you're not" Lorelei said. "Thank you" Rory said.

"Stubborn" Aurora mumbled. "You're welcome you can do this Rory and I will help you I will get you through this and Rora will help me now put that D behind you" Lorelei said.

"Yes, forget about it okay you got this okay and I'll be by your side whenever you need me" Aurora said.

"Now what's next" Lorelei asked. "Rora and I have a test on Friday" Rory said.

"Ooh a test great" Lorelei said. "It's on Shakespeare" Rory said. "Bard with a beard love it" Lorelei said.

"It's worth 20% of our grade" Aurora said. "Just makes life interesting now what do we have to do to get you an A on that test" Lorelei asked Rory.

"Do you really think I can do this" Rory asked. "I know you can" Aurora said.

"I bet you a dollar" Lorelei said. "That's it, that's all my futures worth one dollar" Rory asked Lorelei. "Well, you did get a D" Lorelei said and Rory laughed.

"Tristian told me you two went out last night" Paris said. "Just to see a movie and to study don't worry we're just friends" Aurora said.

"I'm not sure I believe you" Paris said. "Paris, I promise " Aurora said.

"Rora you may not see it, but Tristian is in love with you I'm sure of it" Paris said and the bell rang.

"I'm sorry but you're wrong okay he doesn't see me like that see you in class" Aurora said and left.

"The comedy of errors written" Lorelei asked. "1590" Rory said. "Published" Aurora asked.

"1698" Rory said. "Ooh 1623 close" Lorelei said. "How is 1623 close" Rory asked. "You got the 16, part right" Lorelei said. "I was off by 75 years" Rory said.

"Well, anything under 100 years is close" Lorelei said. "What kind of rule is that" Rory asked sitting next to Aurora.

"I'm running the study session here okay Richard III" Lorelei said. "1591" Rory said and Lorelei made a buzzer sound along with Aurora. "93" Rory said and they made the buzzer sound.

"96" Rory said and they made the buzzer sound again. "Okay that's getting really annoying now" Rory said.

"Hey, we're doing everything we can to make sure you pass so deal with it" Aurora said.

Lorelei walked in the living room handing Rory coffee and Aurora some chips before sitting down.

"Go on I'm listening" Lorelei said. "The sonnets are 154 poems of 14 lines" Rory said. "Except" Aurora said. "Except for 126 which is 12 lines" Rory said.

"Good" Lorelei said. "They are written in iambic pentameter" Rory said. "Except" Lorelei said.

"Except 145 which is in tetrameter" Rory said. "Well done" Aurora said. "Rock on sister" Lorelei said. "Really" Rory said. "Yes really" Aurora said.

"Not one mistake" Lorelei said. "How do you feel" Lorelei asked. "Nauseous" Rory said. "Yeah, well I don't think the fries and the horseradish sauce was the best idea we ever had" Lorelei said.

"Probably not" Aurora said. "It was satisfying in the moment through" Rory said.

"I think you're going to blow that class away tomorrow" Lorelei said. "I second that" Aurora said.

"You think" Rory asked. "I think, what do you say we call it a night and get some beauty sleep" Lorelei said. "You go I wanna review my notes one more time" Rory said.

"Oh, that's okay I'll stay up" Lorelei said. "Mom go to sleep" Rory said as she heads to the kitchen.

"No, I'm not even tired I was just thinking of you" Lorelei said. "Don't worry she'll pass out in a few minutes" Aurora said.

"Hey, your sister here yet" Tristian asked Aurora. "No if I thought she was going to be late I would've offered for her to ride with us" Aurora said. "Hey, I'm sure she'll make it" Tristian said.

"It's not like Rory to miss a test" Aurora said. "Hey, try not to worry she'll be here" Tristian said.

"Can't help it it's a twin thing" Aurora said. "Come on I'm sure she's already here" Tristian said and Aurora nodded and left with Tristian.

The class was just handed her tests when Aurora kept looking for Rory thinking she would be here by now.

"Come on Rory where are you" Aurora asked herself. She began her test when the teacher signaled for them to start. Moments later Rory walked in, and everyone looked at her.

"I'm sorry" Rory said heading to her seat. "Everyone back to your tests" Mr. Medina said and everyone went back to their tests and Mr. Medina went to Rory.

"Miss Gilmore you're gonna have to wait in the library" Mr. Medina said. "But what about the test" Rory asked.

"I'm afraid you've missed the test" Mr. Medina said. "No" Rory said.

"We start class property at 8:05" Mr. Medina said. "No" Rory said. "That's when I need people in their seats" Mr. Medina said. "Please" Rory said.

"I'm sorry but it's the rules" Mr. Medina said. "But you don't understand I was up all night studying and then I missed my bus, so I had to drive" Rory said.

"Let's discuss this outside" Mr. Medina said. "So, I'm driving down this road and I stop, and I get hit by a deer" Rory said.

"You hit a deer" Mr. Medina asked. "No, I got hit by a deer" Rory said and saw he didn't believe her. "You don't believe me I've got antler prints on the side of my mother's car" Rory said.

"Rory come on" Mr. Medina said. "No, you have to let me take this test I'm ready for this test I know everything there is to know about Shakespeare" Rory said.

"Okay, okay you have to calm down now" Mr. Medina told her.

"I know his birthday and his mother's name and that kind of" Rory said when she heard Paris whisper to Louise.

"And just what is wrong with you huh" Rory asked Paris getting in front of her face.

"You already have everything you already have the grades and the status" Rory said. "What is wrong with you that you have this constant need to be the biggest jerk in the school" Rory asked.

"Okay let's go" Mr. Medina told Rory. "Huh what's up quippy why so silent" Rory asked.

"Outside now" Mr. Medina said, and Rory walked past Tristian. "And for the last time the name's Rory" Rory yelled at him before storming out surprising Aurora that she made a scene.

Aurora was with Tristian in his car as he was driving her home.

"Is that usually like your sister to cause a scene like that" Tristian asked. "No not at all she's been putting a lot of pressure on herself not that, that is an excuse though" Aurora said.

"How do you think you did" Tristian asked. "You tell me we been studying for this nonstop and I don't even care for Shakespeare that much" Aurora said and Tristian smiled.

"You aren't telling me nothing you basically said Juliet was dumb for killing herself for a man that she barely knew" Tristian said.

"I'm sorry but at least get to know the guy first you know make sure he's not a serial killer" Aurora said, and Tristian laughed.

"Am I taking you to the house or to Luke's" Tristian asked.

"Luke's they're probably there already" Aurora said. "Got it" Tristian said and started heading that way.
