Aurora was sound asleep on the couch in Luke's place when suddenly she was dragged off of it causing her to wake up.

"Rory, you know I hate that" Aurora said getting up off the floor. "What are you doing here" Aurora asked. "Dad and I are going out and he's really like you to come" Rory said.

"Ha pass" Aurora said folding her blanket Luke gave her and put it on the couch. "Come on please" Rory said.

"Rory, I love you but no I am not seeing that man" Aurora said.

"What is your problems with dad anyway" Rory asked. "I don't know maybe it's the fact that when he goes visit it's to see mom not us" Aurora said.

"That's not true" Rory said. "Yes, it is" Aurora said. "Fine whatever but please come just please you never know he could've changed" Rory said.

"You're not gonna stop begging until I go are you" Aurora asked.

"Please" Rory said. "Fine but if I'm going, I need some caffeine" Aurora said. "We could stop for coffee" Rory said. "I hate coffee you know that" Aurora said.

"Sometimes I wonder how we're related especially since you hate coffee" Rory said. "Shut up" Rory said. "And also, you never know your taste buds could change" Rory said. "Yeah, yeah" Aurora said.

"No not really interested in anyone" Aurora said. "What about that Tristian guy your mom tells me about" Christopher asked.

"Just friends" Aurora said. "And that's Luke" Rory said pointing to Like breaking the tension.

"Luke's the diner guy" Christopher asked. "Yes, we eat there practically every day" Rory said.

"He doesn't exactly mind he'll never admit it, but he loves that we come every day" Aurora said and sat on the bleachers with Rory sitting next to her and Christopher sitting next to Rory.

"Looks like we've got our number three coming to the plate guys" Luke said. "I'll send your boys farther into the field Luke" Dean said.

"Why, will they have a better view of you whiffing" Luke asked causing Dean to laugh. "The only way I'm not hitting it is if you don't have the strength to get it over the plate" Dean said.

"The truth of the matter is that you can't pitch" Kirk said to Luke. "And you can't hit" Kirk said to Dean. "So, this'll be a terrific matchup" Kirk said.

"Knock it off Kirk" Luke told him. "An historic lack of action" Kirk said. "Don't you have anything better to do with your Saturdays" Like asked Kirk.

"What can I say I'm addicted to comedy" Kirk told Luke. "Half an hour they've been playing, and it's tied 0-0" Kirk said.

"Hey if you ever take this show on the road, I've got a name for you zero and zero Dean zero and Luke zero get it" Kirk said to Luke and Dean.

"That doesn't even resemble clever" Luke said. "I'm dumbing it down for you ALFALFA" Kirk said. "How long do these games last" Christopher asked.

"I'd get comfy if I were you" Aurora told Christopher.

"Till they get tired and then they just say the first team to get a run, wins" Rory said. "Yeah, it's really professional down there" Kirk said.

"Hey Luke does your husband play softball too" Kirk asked Luke. "Three...two...one" Aurora said as she watched for Luke's action. "Alright that's it" Luke said heading towards Kirk.

"Um I'm getting a page I've got to go" Kirk said running away causing Aurora to laugh. Dean saw Rory, Christopher, and Aurora and made his way to them.

"Hey" Dean said causing Rory, Aurora, and Christopher to stand up. "Hey" Rory said.

"Dean this is my and Aurora's dad" Rory told Dean as she introduced her dad to Dean. "Dad this is Dean" Rory told Christopher and Dean and Christopher shook hands.

"Uh nice to meet you" Dean told Christopher. "Same here" Christopher said to Dean. "So do you live in the area" Dean asked.

"Please" Aurora mumbled. "No, I had some time, so I rode from my bike out from Berkeley" Christopher said. "Really what do you got" Dean asked.

"It's a 2000 Indian" Rory said. "I got an 86 Suzuki" Dean said. "Nice" Christopher said.

"Yeah" Dean said. "Dean come on" Luke said. "Better go don't want to upset my Lukey" Aurora told Dean.

"Right" Dean said to Aurora. "I got to go I'll see you later" Dean told Rory. "It was nice meeting you" Dean told Christopher and went back on the field.

Christopher, Rory, and Aurora sat back down on the bleachers. "So that was a Dean" Christopher asked.

"That was a Dean" Rory said. "Hey uh next run wins alright" Dean said to Luke. "Yeah alright" Luke said.

"This is the town flower shop" Rory said motioning to it. "Um over there is the good pizza place" Rory said pointing to it. "That's the stationary store" Aurora said pointing to it.

"And that's Al's pancake world" Rory said pointing to it. "Good pancakes" Christopher asked.

"Even though it says pancakes he doesn't serve pancakes" Aurora said. "Okay" Christopher said.

"He switched to international cuisine a couple years ago and dropped the pancakes he would've changed the name, but he had already printed like a million napkins with the original name, so he just kept it" Rory said.

"What kind of international cuisine" Christopher asked. "He kind of hops around last month it was his salute to Paraguay" Rory said.

"Anyone, salute back" Christopher asked. "Not really no not a one" Aurora said. "Rory, Rora honey" Ms. Patty said once she saw the twins.

"How are you girls" Ms. Patty asked. "Fine" Aurora said. Great" Rory said. "Ms. Patty this is my and Aurora's dad Christopher" Rory told Ms. Patty introducing him to her.

"Your dad" Ms. Patty said and shook Christopher's hand. "Nice to meet you" Christopher said.

"You're Rory and Aurora's father well, well, well" Ms. Patty said. "Biologically" Aurora mumbled.

"You know Christopher we're all like the twins' parents around here and I'm one of their mothers and since you're their father well that would make us a couple, couple of what I don't know" Ms. Patty said and laughed causing Christopher to laugh.

"Okay well we've got to be going" Rory said. "Yes, we'll come back and see me" Ms. Patty said.

"Oh barf" Aurora said. "I will" Christopher said and left with Rory and Aurora. "Bye" Ms. Patty said.

"Well, you must be the twin's father" Taylor said walking up to Aurora, Rory, and Christopher.

"News traveled that fast huh impressive" Aurora said to herself. "Uh yes I am" Christopher said and Taylor shook his hand. "Taylor Dosie grocer to stars hollow" Taylor said.

"Very nice to meet you" Christopher said and walked away with Rory and Aurora. "News travels fast around here" Christopher said to the twins.

"Yes, it does" Rory said. "And this is my place" Aurora said seeing the bookstore. "Our place" Rory said.

"Whatever I'm here more" Aurora said. "Bookstore good come on" Christopher said and they walked inside.

"Hey, hey Christopher" Jackson said getting Christopher, Rory, and Aurora's attention.

"Jackson Melville" he said shaking Christopher's hand. "Hello" Christopher said. "Boy, I got to tell you did they get your description wrong" Jackson said.

"Really" Christopher said. "Oh yeah much more George Clooney than Brad Pitt" Jackson said.

"This is going to get awkward" Aurora said. "Hey Andrew" Jackson said to Andrew. "Yeah" Andrew said. 

"Don't you think he's much more George Clooney than Brad Pitt" Jackson asked Andrew.

"I'm going with Billy Crudup comparison myself" Andrew said. "Really" Jackson said, and Andrew nodded.

"I don't see it yeah maybe from the side" Jackson said. "Hey, do you mind" Jackson asked. "What" Christopher said before Jackson already turned him.

"Uh no not at all" Christopher said. "Well, there's a little Crudup in there huh well it's nice to meet you whoever you look like" Jackson said.

"Nice to meet you too" Christopher said walking away with the girls. "Okay I'm kidnapping you both and getting you out of here" Christopher said.

"You can try but I'm not going anywhere without mom" Aurora said. "They all mean well" Rory said.

"Yeah, I'm sure all lunatics have the best intentions, okay so I hear you both like books" Christopher said. "Why yes I do" Rory said.

"Like okay I like mashed potatoes with gravy in it I love books" Aurora said. "Well, I'd like you girls to pick something out and let me buy it for you" Christopher said.

"Dad, you don't have to buy us anything" Rory said. "Speak for yourself" Aurora told Rory and went down another aisle.

"Come on what's the book of your dreams right now" Christopher asked.

"Well, that would definitely be the compact Oxford English Dictionary but dad" Rory said when Christopher interrupted.

"Excuse me one compact Oxford English Dictionary please" Christopher said. "Okay" Andrew said going to get it as Aurora made her way back to Christopher and Rory.

"Dad no it costs a fortune" Rory said. "You and your sister need something to remember this visit by" Christopher said and Aurora handed Christopher the book she picked.

"Looks like your sister found something" Christopher said. "Either a fantasy or love story she's obsessed" Rory said.

"Shut up" Aurora told Rory. "Here you go" Andrew said handing the book to him and went back behind the counter. "Holy mother this is the monolith from 2001" Christopher said.

"It has every word ever recorded in the English language plus origins and earliest usage" Rory said.

"You sure you wouldn't rather have a car" Christopher asked. "They weigh about the same" Christopher said as he got his card out. "Here you go" Christopher said giving Andrew his card.

"This is so nice of you" Rory said. "Yeah, well I've got a lot of things to make up for" Christopher said.

"No, you don't" Rory said. "Does so" Aurora mumbled. "Yes, I do" Christopher said. "Um I'm sorry Christopher but your card's been rejected" Andrew told Christopher.

"Rejected what are you talking about" Christopher asked. "I can run it through again if you'd like" Andrew said.

"Yes" Rory said. "Uh no" Christopher said taking the card.

"He doesn't need to run it through again" Christopher said. "Oh okay" Rory said.

"Uh could you maybe hold these for us I'll come back tomorrow with another card" Christopher said. "Sure, Chris no problem" Andrew said.

"Thanks" Christopher said to him. "Come on" Christopher said to the twins and they left the bookstore. "Now you really remember me" Christopher said.

"I didn't want it that much anyway" Rory said. "It's fine dad, not like we don't have books at home" Aurora said and Christopher kissed both of their heads.

"Hey, listen don't tell your mom about this okay either of you" Christopher said. "Okay" Rory said.

"Thanks" Christopher said. "Aye, aye captain" Aurora said and Christopher looked at her.

"I been watching Pirates of the Caribbean" Aurora said and Christopher nodded.

"Yes, it is their real dad he seems very nice kind of a folly poppy urban scruffy look to him and obviously there's some money mixed in there because he's got that you know money nose and" Jackson said but stopped.

He turned around seeing Christopher with the twins. Jackson smiled at them nodding with his hat then ran away leaving. 

Aurora, Christopher, and Rory then went to Luke's and walked in heading to Lorelei. "Hey" Rory said to Lorelei.

"Hi mom" Aurora said as she and Rory gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"Oh, hi where were you" Lorelei asked. "Well, we saw Al's Paraguayan pancake house we were stalked by several townspeople and apparently I look like Billy Crudup" Christopher said, and the twins sat down.

"You do not" Lorelei said. "Take it up with Jackson" Christopher said before sitting down.

Christopher went to answer his phone, but Lorelei stopped him. "Ah, ah, ah, ah, hey, hey, hey, hey" Lorelei said and motioned to the no cell phone sign.

Ignoring it Christopher answered his phone. "Hello, Emily" Christopher said and Lorelei looked at him.

"Emily" Lorelei said. "It's your mother" Christopher told Lorelei. "Hi grandma" the twins said in sync.

"Uh-huh well actually I'm sitting here with your girls sure" Christopher said and held the phone out for Lorelei. "She wants to speak to you" Christopher told Lorelei.

"Hmm" Lorelei said taking the phone. "Hi mom" Lorelei said. "Lorelei Christopher is in town" Emily said.

"What I didn't know although coincidentally I'm sitting across from an amazing Christopher Hologram" Lorelei said.

"Well, I just had this wonderful idea Christopher's parents are in town too you remember Straub and Francine don't you" Emily said. "Ah yes the Schnikelfritzes" Lorelei said.

"The who" Emily asked. "The Hayden's" Lorelei said.

"Well, I called them up and invited them to dinner they said that they are free to join us all on Friday night" Emily said.

"Join us all" Lorelei asked. "Yes you, Rory, Aurora, Christopher, your father" Emily said.

"That's quite a gathering mom" Lorelei said. "Well, I should say so we haven't all been together since the two of you were children and Straub and Francine haven't seen the twins since they were babies" Emily said.

"Yeah, I know but" Lorelei said and Emily interrupted. "It'll be like a wonderful reunion all of us together again I never thought it would happen" Emily said.

"Yeah, me either" Lorelei said looking at Rory and Christopher giggling as they were bonding before looking at Aurora who was looking at the menu.

"I've got to see my parents" Lorelei said sighing. "I've got to see my parents" Christopher said sighing. "Ladies and gentlemen, the drama king and queen of Connecticut" Rory said.

"Let's just get this over with" Aurora said. Lorelei unlocked the door, and they all walked in. "Hello anybody home" Lorelei asked.

"Oh my god you're here" Emily said as she made her way to them. "Christopher look at you" Emily said as Rory closed the door and gave Christopher a hug.

"Emily as always perfect" Christopher said. "I am so glad to see you I didn't hear the doorbell" Emily said.

"Probably because we didn't ring it" Aurora said. "You let yourselves in" Emily asked. "It's okay, mom look not a rapist among us" Lorelei said.

"Hi grandma" Aurora and Rory said in sync. "You usually knock" Emily said.

"Not since you gave us a key" Lorelei said. "That's for emergencies" Emily said. "Well mom I'm starving to death" Lorelei said. "Is that enough of an emergency for you" Lorelei asked.

"Can we please just eat or something before I end up going to Luke's" Aurora asked.

"Well Richard's in the living room come on in he's dying to see you" Emily said leaving the room with the twins as Lorelei and Christopher spoke for a moment before following them.

"Well here they are" Richard said. "Hi grandpa" Rory said. "Hi gramps" Aurora said as Richard kissed them both on the cheek.

"Hello Rory, Rora" Richard said to the twins. "Lorelei" Richard said to Lorelei. "Christopher old boy how are you my gosh it's good to see you" Richard said shaking his hand.

"How are you Richard" Christopher asked. "Well, I'm better than most not as good as some" Richard said.

"And annoyed with all" Christopher said. "Ha, ha you speak the truth young man" Richard told him.

"I have made Martinis" Richard said going to them.

"So, Christopher, tell me about your business" Richard said giving him the glasses.

"Oh, Richard let the poor boy relax" Emily said as Christopher handed her a glass and Aurora, Lorelei, and Rory sat down. "Well, I simply want to find out how it's going" Richard said.

"It's uh it's going great Richard I'm almost afraid to jinx it by telling you how good it's going" Christopher said and sat down.

"Oh, that is wonderful I always knew you had it in you, you have a splash of greatness as my mother would say" Richard said and sat down.

"You always had that splash of greatness" Richard said. "Mm I'd like another splash of greatness if you don't mind" Lorelei said getting up going to fill her glass.

"Oh, Richard isn't Rory the splitting image of Christopher while Aurora looks so much like Lorelei" Emily said.

"I just hope you inherit your father's business sense also my dear" Richard said and Lorelei came back and sat down.

"I know one thing for sure you two certainly have your father's musical talent" Emily said.

"Oh wait just a minute" Lorelei said. "What" Emily said. "Mom neither of these three have any musical talent" Lorelei said. "Thank you" Aurora said agreeing with Lorelei.

"Hey, I play guitar" Christopher said. "You know the opening lick to smoke on the water" Lorelei said. "And I since mastered the opening lick to jumping Jack flash" Christopher said.

"I'm a Chuck Berry man myself" Richard said causing Lorelei to snort. "Something wrong" Richard asked Lorelei.

"I would never have guessed that last sentence would ever come out of your mouth" Lorelei said.

"And why not" Richard asked. "Chuck Berry" Lorelei said. "Yes, Chuck Berry he was all the rage when I was in school" Richard said.

"Uh so we're talking pre- my ding - a - ling" Lorelei said. "I believe I am" Richard said.

"Do you remember when the two of you were what ten and you put on that adorable show for us" Emily asked. "What show mom" Lorelei asked.

"Lucy Schroeder, you, laying on the coffee table" Christopher said. "You pretending it was a piano" Lorelei said.

"God why is they remembered" Lorelei asked. "Because it was such a wonderful production" Emily said. "I don't know if it was a production mom it was just one song" Lorelei said.

"Supper time" Christopher said. "Did you write that" Richard asked Christopher. "That was really very good" Richard said.

"Dad that's from you're a good man Charlie Brown it's a famous musical" Lorelei said.

"Well, I thought Christopher might have written it he's a very talented man" Richard said, and the doorbell rang. "They would be Straub and Francine" Emily said going to answer the door.

"And let the show begin" Aurora mumbled. "Ha, ha your turn" Lorelei told Christopher.

"Haven't seen your parents in a number of years we were practically inseparable for a while" Richard said and left.

"I remember that" Christopher said. "This is weird" Rory said.

"No kidding twin these are our other grandparents we don't even know them" Aurora said. "What do Rora and I call them" Rory asked.

"Call them what I call them" Christopher said and was about to tell her when Lorelei interrupted. "Chris" Lorelei said and shook her head. "Sorry my toe's too tight" Christopher said.

"This is gonna be interesting" Aurora said. "Just uh call them Straub and Francine call them Mr. and Mrs. Hayden sir and ma'am why don't you both just avoid calling them anything" Lorelei said.

Richard walked in with Straub, Emily, and Francine.

"Look who's here" Richard said causing Lorelei, Aurora, Rory, and Christopher to stand up.

"Hello mother, Pop" Christopher said. "Christopher" Straub said and gave him a handshake.

"Christopher hello" Francine said and fixed his tie. "Mr. and Mrs. Hayden long time no see" Lorelei said. "Lorelei, you look well" Francine said.

"I am thanks" Lorelei told her. "You remember Rory and Aurora; you haven't seen them in quite a while" Lorelei told them.

"No, we haven't" Straub said. "I think they were just beginning to speak in complete sentences" Francine said. "So not for two years then" Lorelei said.

"Mom" Aurora said giving her a look. "They've always been talking a long time, so I was making a humorous comment sometimes referred to as a joke" Lorelei said.

"I see you haven't changed Lorelei" Straub said. "No not at all" Lorelei said. "Rory, Aurora hello" Francine said.

"Hey" Aurora said. "Hi" Rory said and was about to curse but Aurora stopped her. "Don't embarrass yourself" Aurora told Rory. "Were you about to curtsey" Lorelei asked Rory.

"Shut up" Rory said. "Sorry milady" Lorelei said. "Uh Straub, Francine how about a Martini" Richard said going to the martinis.

"Please" Straub said, and Lorelei, Christopher, Aurora, and Rory sat down with Francine doing the same. "Well Straub how is retirement treating you" Richard asked him.

"Yes, do tell us about the Bahamas" Emily said and sat down. "You can get an entire island there for the cost of a decent house here" Straub said.

"Really" Richard said handing him the glasses. "How about you Richard any thoughts of retirement crossing your mind" Straub asked.

"Oh, Straub if only you could talk him into it" Emily said and Straub handed Francine a drink.

"I've given up" Emily said and Straub sat down. "We're very pleased about Christopher's business success out in California" Richard said.

"Yes, it's taken a while, but it seems to be finally coming together seems to be" Straub said.

"Christopher your tie please" Francine said. "Straub and Fran" Rory said and cleared her throat, "Mr. and Mrs. um are you enjoying your time here you two" Rory asked.

"That she got from you" Christopher told Lorelei. "How old are you and your sister young lady" Straub asked Rory.

"We're 16" Aurora said. "A dangerous age for girls" Straub said. "Straub" Francine said. "Rory and Aurora are very special kids' excellent students very bright" Emily said.

"You should have a talk with them Straub they could give you a run for your money" Richard said.

"Is that so" Straub asked. "That's right" Emily said. Then there was a moment of silence.

"Well, I think my money is safe" Straub said. "I hate President Bush" Lorelei said. "What" Straub said.

"Lorelei" Emily said. "Oh boy" Christopher said. "Here we go" Aurora mumbled. "He's stupid and his face is too tiny for his head, and I just want to toss him out" Lorelei said.

"That is the leader of our country young lady" Straub said. "Ignore her" Richard said.

"His face is too tiny for his head what kind of a thing is that to say" Francine asked. "I see your daughter's just as out of control as ever Richard" Straub said.

"Pop please let's try to keep it civil" Christopher said. "Tell me Lorelei what have you been doing with your life anyway besides hating successful businessmen I'm just curious" Straub said.

"Why don't we all go into the dining room" Emily said. "Well, uh Straub run an inn near stars hollow" Lorelei said.

"Really" Straub said. "Yes really" Lorelei said. "Dad come on" Christopher said. "Nice to see you found your calling" Straub said. "Dinner's ready" Emily said. "Christopher your tie" Francine said.

"Mom please" Christopher said. "And is your life everything you hoped it would be" Straub asked.

"Yes, it is" Lorelei said. "Because it seems to me you might not want to take quite such a hottie tone when you announce to the world that you work in a hotel" Straub said.

"Well, there's nothing wrong with where I work" Lorelei said. "Straub please I'm getting a headache" Francine said.

"Come on Richard lead us into the dining room now" Emily said.

"If you attended a university as your parents had planned and as we planned in vain for Christopher you might have aspired something more than a blue-collar position" Straub said.

"Don't do this" Christopher told Straub. "And I wouldn't care about you derailing your own life if you hadn't swept my son along with you" Straub said.

"Honey go in the next room take Aurora with you go, go" Lorelei told Rory and Aurora and Rory did as she said.

"Well that seems like it's going well" Aurora told Rory.

"There you girls are" Emily said making her way to Rory and Aurora. "I was wondering where you went" Emily said. "We been here" Aurora said.

"I'm sorry" Rory said. "No, it's nothing to be sorry about" Emily said. "Can I get you something" Emily asked them. "No thanks we got something" Aurora said and the twins shown their drinks.

"That's hardly dinner" Emily said and opened the fridge.

"Well, that was quite a bit of excitement tonight" Emily said and closed the fridge after grabbing something.

"Oh yeah" Rory said. "Not the good kind" Emily said. "Not a bit" Aurora said. "None of this means anything girls" Emily said. "Oh, we know" Rory said.

"Straub is actually a good man very smart he was one of the top lawyers in his field a very arcane aspect of international law and he's always been so active in his community his charity work has never diminished over the years" Emily said and the twins nodded. "Good to know" Aurora said.

"Oh, let's face it he's a big jerk" Emily said and sat down.

"Rory, Aurora I know you heard a lot of talk about various disappointments this evening and I know you've heard a lot of talk about it in the past but I want to make this very clear you young ladies your person and your existence have never ever been not even for a second included in that list do you understand me" Emily said.

"Yeah, we do" Rory said and Aurora nodded in agreement. "Good now eat up" Emily said giving the twins a plate and handed them a fork.

"So where were you guys" Rory asked Lorelei and Christopher.

"Yeah, you guys took your time finding us" Aurora said. "Nowhere" Lorelei said. "Where's nowhere" Rory asked. "Where we were" Christopher said.

"Mm-hm" Lorelei said. "Right" Aurora said. "Oh, there's Luke's stop here" Aurora said and Christopher looked at Lorelei.

"It's fine she stays there a bunch" Lorelei said and Christopher stopped.

"Bye" Aurora said giving Lorelei a kiss on the cheek got out of the car shutting the door and knocked on Luke's door.

Luke answered seeing Aurora and let her in before closing the door behind her and a Christopher drove away once she was inside.
